Brilliant stay

We stayed here for 4 nights and had an amazing time. Everything was super smooth from check in to check out.
This is a home stay and the family who run this are lovely and will do anything to help. They arranged our small group (5 people) sunrise trek to Mount Batur, including transfers. They also provided our transfer at 5:30am to Padang Bai for our ferry to Gili T.
Hot water is provided daily if you wish to have a hot drink in the room. Breakfast is available too and very reasonably priced, 35k I think.
Ideal location to the centre of Ubud, it took us 8-10 minutes to walk there. There are places to do laundry only a 2 minute walk away.
The room and bathroom was clean. The shower was powerful and hot which was great! The bed was slightly creaky and we could sometimes hear people outside talking but we still got a good nights sleep. We felt safe here.

The staff is excellent and very attentive to your needs and goes above and beyond. It's down a street that has local places mixed in with newer looking establishments. it's also a short walk to the temple and mant other restaurants and shops. The staff can set you up with any tours or excursions you want to do for a fair price. We extented our stay and look forward to coming back to ubid in a couple weeks ;)

This is the best accommodation I have stayed at in ALL OF Indonesia!!!! The staff goes above and beyond, the breakfast is amazing and it’s CLOSE to Ubud’s Main Street! The staff really does absolutely everything for it’s customers, I think would stay here every time I’m in Ubud!!!!!!

The homestay is within walking distance of the Main Street of Ubud which makes it very convenient. The rooms are comfortable; not a five star hotel by any means but staff are very accommodating and warm. Overall, a good value for the price.

I payed for two nights with expedia and upon my arrival at 8pm, I was told by the front desk that the second night was not available. I was tired, and they wanted me to wait with them to contact expedia which took an hour before they decided to hang up because they could not get through to expedia. I tried to explain to them during this hour of me standing at the front desk that this was between them and expedia and I was tired and on vacation, and needed to check into my room so that I could sleep. They wouldn't let me have the room and told me to stop causing problems. Overall, this was a very disheartening experience. I was left on the street at 9pm and had to go across the street to the Best Western which was three times the cost. I wouldn't stay here and I wouldn't use expedia to book hotels in Bali as this happened to several people I spoke to- they arrived to their hotel with their expedia reservation already paid, and it was already booked by someone else.

Absolutely wonderful family homestay

My husband and I had a delightful stay at the Suparsa Family's Homestay. We were greeted with smiles and cold mango drinks upon arrival, shown to our room and checked in with a brief talk. As soon as we could we hopped into the lovely cooling pool and relaxed for the rest of the evening. The major thoroughfare of Ubud is a short walk down the road where you can find all sorts of food, drink, shopping and beautiful things to look at. Putra and Ketut provided us with a very helpful local map and pointed out very useful sights. We spent the week having massages, a cooking class and an excursion up into the mountains for a visit to a gorgeous waterfall, palace and place of worship. Reasonably priced, every aspect of our simple room and stay were wonderfully clean and attended to from the beautiful breakfast delivered to our doorstep every day to the hot water and beverages provided by the family. We were delighted by the security and attentiveness the entire family provided. So very glad we decided to choose a homestay versus a hotel or other accommodation that would've left a much more impersonal feel. We would definitely recommend Suparsa's Family Homestay to anyone looking for a genuine, pocketbook friendly stay wether short or long term. We hope to bring our children with next time and for this price we can afford to! Thank you Suparsa Family!!

Great location and staff

Once you get inside the courtyard, it is an attractive location on a quieter street in downtown. Great gluten-free bakery at the corner on the main street. Staff are incredibly nice and helpful. Pleasant breakfast served outside the room. My husband enjoyed cooling off in the pool. There was a smell of sewage one night, but I think this was a municipal problem and not the hotel's fault.

Everybody at the homestay was very friendly! Breakfast was excellent. You can tell them what time you want breakfast to be served. Room was impeccable. They made the bed everyday and replaced towels every 2 days. Hot water flask provided every morning and every night. Tris and his brother can speak good English and they can drive you around Ubud if you ask.

I stayed here for 4 nights. It is in a quiet neighborhood, but only a few blocks from the main street of Ubud. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was wonderful, and there was hot water/coffee/tea out in the afternoon at your private table outside your room. They were in process of putting in a pool when I was there, but most likely complete now.

One of the best places I've stayed in Asia! I highly recommend this place purely based on the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff! They really couldn't have done anymore for me and the free breakfast was delicious and filling, and healthy! Lots of fruit. I booked my trips, transport and entertainment through them as well and they gave me honest advice and a good reasonable price.

I arrived late at night and was welcomed with a big plate of fruit and some fresh water, I was a bit flustered as the location is wrongly marked on maps.me so it took me a long time to find it but the staff more than made up for this. Room clean, comfortable and relaxing, with as much tea and coffee as you like.

Lovely family and convenient location

Nothing to fault about this homestay. The owners are incredibly helpful and friendly. Walk to the markets and main street is only 5 minutes. They organised a driver to take us on a tour of the East Bali, and have many other tours on offer. Not to mention the breakfast fruit plate was my favourite thing to wake up to every morning! Will definitely be back.

Quaint little spot perfect for a couple of nights. My boyfriend and I stayed here for two nights. The staff was very friendly and welcomed us with fresh fruit. The room was small, but perfect for us. The shower was great with a rainfall style showerhead. The bed was stiffer than we were used to, but we slept alright. The traffic noise can get loud, but it didn't keep us up at night at all. The location isn't too far from the main market street in Ubud. There was a very well priced laundry mat nearby, which is where we dropped our clothes off and they were ready the next day. The wifi works well, but the signal isn't strong enough to watch Netflix or play a heavy data mobile game. It works well to check emails and social media. I would recommend Suparsa's, especially for the price!

Great stay, wonderful and extremely helpful owners on hand. Absolutely did not try to sell me any tours aside from just mentioning they offer it. Once I came in and got settled, I was given a map and things to do were pointed out to me.
Room was impeccably clean and the porch from which you can have your breakfast is wonderful. Only slight discomfort say the lack of air conditioning. The fan proved sufficient once left on long enough.

This was a perfect place to stay! It was very quiet and comfortable. Fruit offered every day including breakfast. Rooms are located among beautiful plants and trees. Barely a ten minute walk to the main strip. I felt very safe. My only complaint was the water temperature from the shower. Warm water was sporadic, so most of the time was cold. Though given how hot it is here, it was also refreshing.

Exceeded expectations. It started with a friendly smile at the airport through a pre-arranged pick up including a bottle of water for the drive to Ubud. The grounds of the homestay are beautiful and the room was beyond what I was expecting. Clean and modern, a king bed, modern ensuite with the biggest shower rose I have ever seen! Effective air conditioning and the highlight each morning was the fruit plate including dragon fruit, salak, lychees, pineapple etc. as well as hot food including an omelette or toasted sandwich. Delivery to your room of a hot water thermos throughout the day for making tea and coffee - what more could you ask for. And the friendliest staff cap it all off. Don't even think about staying anywhere else. I'll be back for sure.

Tropical hideaway with excellent service!

Great place! The airport pick up was excellent and reasonable priced (especially since my flight arrived at midnight) The room itself was clean and big and the A/C worked great. Every morning there was a thermos of boiling water and stuff to make instant coffee (but not bad for instant) outside my door on a little table. As soon as I made coffee they would ask if I was ready for breakfast (I didn't like the food, but I am a very picky eater, so take that with a grain of salt) The only negative is the distance from the main town area (5-10 min walk to anything) but well worth it for the quiet. Overall I really liked my stay :) Oh and wifi worked well! Always a plus here as most places have had rather slow, unreliable internet...

Sensational value in a pleasant setting

This is a great place, about a ten minute walk from the main drag on a side street that's not very busy. There is a scooter hire place over the road (about £4 per day for some wheels!) and a couple of great restaurants opposite each other a two minute walk up the road if you turn left as you leave. Look for the Dicarik place, genuinely good home food. We were in room one which was air conditioned, had reasonable wi fi and was very comfortable. Maybe it's a little dated but look how much it costs! The value was sensational, especially if you include the breakfast. If we were unhappy with this place we were ready to cut our losses and find something else but it was great. Friendly welcoming staff from the moment Putra picked us up at the airport. If you want a luxury room to laze around in, spend all day on social media and watching TV then find somewhere else, oh and get a life while you're there. If you want a cheap reliable base that's handy for everything then look no further. Yes it lacks some things like a bar, (though there is a fridge with beer in it you can buy from) a pool and other amenities that some people may want on holiday, but if you want a reasonable basic room at a great price then this is for you. Yes there are animal noises in the night, but that just adds to its charm, they weren't intrusive. The in house driver was happy to return us to the airport at 4 in the morning as well. It also has geckos on the porch at night. That makes it great in my world.

Really great stay!

We had a really great time at Suparsa Homestay. They were really nice and accommodating! Especially when we got up for a sunrise hike and missed breakfast, but they made it for us when we got back! The room was always clean and comfortable, great breakfast and hot water throughout the day! The walk to the center wasn't too bad and once you are there, there is everything you need. We arrived at the airport to be greeted by the son of the owner, meeting him was the perfect start after a 9h flight. He was very friendly, informative and very helpful. We were taken to our room in the most cutest place. The room was clean, large and the air con was on for us, so the room was perfect. The trip just got better, in the morning the fresh breakfast was delivered with a smile.
We had booked two weeks in Ubud and can honestly say it was the best holiday we have had for a very long time.
The owners were always happy to answer any questions and assist with travel, tours, best places to shop and eat, traditional and otherwise. They even invited us to their local temple (50m) down the road to enjoy a night of fire dance and traditional song. Food was cheap and at a guess, there was 50 restaurants within 1k of our homestay, yet it was as quiet as any place we had stayed in. The homestay had pushbikes and scooters to hire and all the info on activities local and throughout the island. Even got a chance to chat with the grandmother who was the most delightful lady. Although she didnt speak English she still managed to greet us every morning and show us the offering baskets she made during the day. The holiday was brilliant but made exceptional by the homestay and people.

So-so place in Ubud

Basic, no frills place to stay in Ubud. Very quiet which was a huge plus. Room had no AC and bed was hard as a rock with dirty sheets upon arrival. Front desk not open 24 hours as advertised. My family and driver made over 10 calls to confirm my arrival past 10pm but no response. Finally, my driver woke the son up in person. No soap and limited toilet paper. Location is great and breakfast on porch every am nice. Pay attention to price fluctuations as vary greatly.

Nice hotel in Ubud

We stayed for 3 nights at this hotel. The location was about a 5 to 7 minute walk to the main street in Ubud. The included breakfast was good as was having a hot water thermos with coffee and teas available all day on the terrace. The setting is really nice to sit outside and relax. Rooms are cleaned everyday and very much appreciated the extra rolls of toilet paper! So rare to see!

Very nice stay!

Staff was lovely. They greeted us with fresh fruit and coffee. Our room and bathroom were spacious and we felt right at home. AC was a must. We found it really humid in UBUD. It's a perfect location because it is only a 10 minute walk to the Main Street with all shopping and food. I would recommend this for anyone. Whether you are on a budget or not.

A very pleasant, exquisitely clean budget option. Suparsa's family runs things very well, with lots of nice little extras: a delicious breakfast served every day, including the day that we came back late from a dawn trek, after breakfast time was over; waking up to a thermos of hot water outside the room and packets of tea and coffee; helpful advice and available tickets for local performances (don't miss the kecak dance just down the road!); and lots of smiles and friendliness.

Welcoming homestay close to town

Suparsa's is great! The son picked me up from the airport in the middle of the night. The breakfast every morning is delicious (usually fruit and something else like eggs or pancakes). They can help arrange tours for you as well. I did the Mt. Batur trek which was great!! The family was all very welcoming.

Close enough to town to walk although I know most people would probably rent a motorbike. Roosters will wake you up...but that's everywhere in Ubud.

A beautifully maintained homestay

Run by a beautiful family that goes out of their way to take care of you. I felt at home from the moment I arrived and I could see that other guests did as well. The room was impeccable and the bathroom was spotless. The neighbourhood is a 5-10 minute walk from the main drag but far enough away from the traffic and noise. I will definitely stay here again.

It's a 300 metre walk to any shops etc..very basic..but beds are very comfortable. Not a place to hang in your room. Just sleep, get up and go. Not very private...but it IS A HOMESTAY!

Only small thing was that we didn't realise we could book the sunrise tour up the volcano with the hosts. So we booked online and then they appeared quite annoyed we didn't book with them. Which we would of had we known they offered that tour! Everything else was perfect!

Loved staying here, fantastic little guest house, super clean, friendly staff. Best breakfast, we are vegan and they went out of their way to give us variety, lots of delicious tropical fruits, fried Tempe and tofu, toast, little rice packaged in banana leaves, not repetitive after 5 days. Hot water thermos for tea/coffee, drinking water dispenser, cool staff and other travellers, great location walking to main Ubud, but away from noise. Very clean rooms. Lockable drawers and closet. Air conditioned. Good rates for transfers and activity bookings. A genuine, family run homestay not a placed owned by someone who just wants a profit.

one of the best places that I have every stayed in. My room's terrace looks out over the rooftops of the neighbourhood. Only a short stroll away from the main street, but very quiet. Goods restaurants and cafes line both sides of the street that the homestay is located in.

What a great find. Lovely cool fan rooms, free breakfast on the patio outside each room, free tea and coffee all day, and a welcoming fruit platter wen you first arrive. Such a friendly and helpful family. It's a slight walk up the hill from the main road but no problem.

Excellent stay, amazing service

My fiancé and I extended our stay and had a lovely week there. The family are incredibly friendly and kind. We had an airport pick up that went very smoothly. Fruit plate each and hot water for tea and coffee of our choosing on arrival and every afternoon all week. We arranged tours through them and bought the traditional dance tickets. The breakfasts were delicious! The breakfast was different everyday for around 5 days and freshly cooked when ypu were ready. We couldn't of asked for anything more. The service for the price was 5 star.Thanks so much Suparsa Homestay!

Had a great time staying at Suparsa's. We got an incredible rate which included breakfast and fruit and water on arrival. Staff were incredible friendly and welcoming. Close to the main street with great coffee shop close by. Only stayed 2 nights and would highly recommend.

Highly recommended! Loved this place!

This place far exceeds the standard home stay! Upon arrival we were greeted with a plate of fresh fruit and hot water, a map of Ubud and suggestions on what to see. You have a shared outdoor area with a sitting area and an assortment if coffee and tea. Breakfast is served to you in your outdoor area. You can purchase tickets for traditional Balinese dance here at the house and arrange for laundry service. The house is set back from the road which is alreafy further away from the super touristy area (~5 min. walk). No need for air con the fan cools you off just fine. The entire staff was friendly and helpful!
For the price and hospitality you can't beat this home stay!

Great value for the price. Very friendly owner. Was greeted with fresh fruits and water on arrival. Owner gave advise about trips and helped us book one. Was actually cheaper than with the agencies in town. Room are very basic but clean. Great place for budget travelers. Just 5 min walk away from the main road.

Simple and cheerful

There's nothing fancy here like a TV or Minibar, but you do get a nice room that's cleaned every day, room to relax in the garden with included tea/coffee all day and breakfast in the mornings. The young guys and mother who keep the place running are very obliging and helpful if you get stuck. I left my phone behind on a tour and one of the guys called them and gave me a ride on his scooter to collect it!

Chambre triple à rafraîchir!

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits au total dans une chambre supérieure. Les deux premières nuits se sont très bien passées et nous avons même choisi de prolonger notre séjour, ce qui témoigne de notre satisfaction initiale. Pour les deux dernières nuits, nous avons été logés dans une chambre supérieure triple avec deux lits. La chambre était propre, mais elle aurait besoin d’un rafraîchissement afin d’apporter plus de confort. Nous avons notamment remarqué un taux d’humidité assez élevé ainsi qu’un problème d’écoulement de la douche, qui a malheureusement provoqué des odeurs le lendemain matin.

Ces détails techniques n’enlèvent rien à la qualité de l’accueil : l’hôte et le personnel sont adorables. L’endroit est très calme, parfait pour se reposer, et l’emplacement est excellent pour visiter Ubud et les alentours.

Avec quelques améliorations sur l’entretien et la maintenance de la chambre triple (gestion de l’humidité et de la salle de douche), le séjour pourrait devenir exceptionnel.

Hôtel/Guesthouse très agréable, composée d’une maison principal, d’un petit bâtiment et de petits pavillons à l’arrière, offrant des chambres confortables et propres. L’endroit est calme, bien situé et idéal pour profiter d’Ubud. Restaurants, boutiques et temple à proximité.
Le personnel est accueillant et toujours disponible, le petit déjeuner est servi devant votre chambre à l’heure souhaitée.
La petite piscine est un vrai plus pour se rafraîchir après les visites. Excellent rapport qualité-prix, nous avons même prolongé notre séjour !

Seul hic pour moi, est que ma chambre était sur le passage de la chambre d'a côté, du coup je fermais les rideaux de la baie vitré pour ne pas être vu.
Douche et toilette était propre.
L'hôtel est bien situé tout en étant au calme.

Magnífica casa de huéspedes y algunas dificultades

Preciosa y bien equipada casa de huéspedes en el centro de Ubud pero no en su calle principal. El establecimiento tiene dos pisos y un patio con mucho encanto. La limpieza, el comfort y la estética son incuestionables. El desayuno es servido en la terraza de tu propia habitación y disponen de un thermo con agua caliente para servirse té y café en cualquier momento del día. El personal es extraordinariamente atento y servicial. Ofrecen servicios de tours como muchos otros en la ciudad. Elegimos un tour privado pero quisimos personalizarlo por lo que el precio se vió incrementado un 25%, lo cual aceptamos sin problema. Una vez acordado y cerrado el precio, nos pidieron otras Rp. 25.000 adicionales en concepto de estacionamiento de vehículo, a lo que accedimos también. Desgraciadamente, a la hora de pagar pidieron a nuestra pareja acompañante otras Rp. 50.000 por un trayecto por el que un taxi pide Rp. 25.000 para poder recogerlos en su hotel al día siguiente, lo que resultó inapropiado, excesivo y de muy mal gusto. Considero que a pesar de que la cantidad era pequeña, el detalle de nuestro anfitrión es poco ejemplar.

Vi brugte Suparsa´s som base og rejste ud derfra, men tilbragte over en uge der i alt. Familien var søde til at hjælpe med hvad end man spurgte om, og der var fint rent. Virkelig en sød familie der driver stedet.
Man kan sagtens gå rundt i Ubud fra homestayet, så man behøver ikke bruge penge på transport.

J'ai pris une chambre supérieure à 14€ environ par nuit.
Cette homestay est bien située pour aller au centre, Crète du campahan, Monnet Forest à pied ... service de café et eau en libre service ! Dans la rue il y a le restaurant de la fondation. fair warung bale ou in mange très bien ( conseil thon au pesto ...) mais réserver à l'avance sur internet...
La famille est très arrangeante, serviable et aux petits soins pour leur client.
Je suis passée par eux pour le Mont Batur, les transferts et spectacle de Danse .. les prix sont raisonnables voir attractifs par rapport à ce qui se fait dans le rue. Ils vous renseignent et sont vraiment très gentils.
Je ne peux que vous recommandez cet endroit à Ubud.

ウブドの中心部まで歩いて行けて、朝食(果物と簡易なパンケーキ)が付いて一部屋この価格であれば、文句ありません。シャワーはきちんとお湯も出たし、湯量も問題ありませんでした。ただし、ベッドシーツもタオルも清潔ですが、お世辞にも素敵なホテルとは言えないので、ホームステイと割り切れる方に限ります。

チェックインした部屋が何度も電源が落ち部屋の交換を依頼したところ、その日はシーリングファンの部屋しか空きがないが明日エアコンの部屋が空き次第移、動してよいということでこちらの態度がよくなかったにも拘らず、快く対応してくれて嬉しかった。また、ゴアガジャ周辺のドライブや帰路のビーチ立ち寄りなどにも対応してもらえて初級バリ観光者としてはとても助かった。

Wirklich großartiges Haus. Wunderbar und ausgesprochen sauber und freundlich geführt von einer tollen Familie.

Man kam mir auf dem Kulanzweg entgegen, als ich kurzfristig eine bei ihnen gebuchte Tour abbestellen musste, und ich bekam 100% zurückerstattet.

Man fühlt sich echt wohl dort. 5-15 min. zu Fuß zu allen Attraktionen Ubuds (mit Ausnahme des Monkey Temple, der ist knapp eine halbe Stunde weg).

Würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Sehr empfehlenswert

Das Homestay wird von einer sehr netten Familie geführt. Wir hatten für drei Nächte ein Superior Zimmer welches mit Klima ausgestattet war und eigenem Badezimmer. Die Zimmer sind sauber und das Frühstück ist gut. Während des Tages gibt es auch immer wieder Früchte welche vor dem Zimmer platziert werden. Die Lage ist sehr zentral und trotzdem sehr ruhig. Wir können dieses Homestay weiterempfehlen.
