I've booked a room with ocean view and at the begining they gave me a regular room, there's NO expedia platinum member benefits at all, after i've asked for it they put me in a room in the 5th floor with ocen view but with sewer smell!! This was an AWFUL experience

The room was generally clean although a bit dated. The staff were friendly and mainly multilingual which impressed me. This hotel is located in the middle of everything you need so the location is ideal. Check in and out was a breeze. The one thing I didn’t like was that they asked us to not take off the AC. As someone from The tropics, I don’t like consistent AC/coldness and there was no area that you could retreat from the cold.

Room was good, bath was very small. Airco was making a noice, informed staff, no maintanance man came as was promissed. Had to keep it on a lower stand, so it would not make a loud noice.

Very noisy. If you like sleep, this place might not be right for you. When building it, they cut corners and Sound insulate each room so you can hear other people talking in the next room. Location is fine, but you must pay for parking and on a busy weekend that may not be easy to get. Location is fine if you don’t have a car, Patti the front desk is great. They’re lucky to have her, because the rest hotel is 50-50

The host was very welcoming, but apart from that the room wasn't clean and got cleaned on the spot. There are no reactions to any emails and no taxi wants to drive to this area which is very dissapointing. It also looks nothing like the photos and the vibe was just not there. I did not feel safe.

Gostamos muito do atendimento, localização, camas. Limpeza bem feita. Só não gostamos muito da área de chuveiro pequena, mas não nos impede de voltar. Localização perto de todas as atividades urbanas de Curaçao. Servem um café e leite pela manhã e água com gelo disponível o dia todo, o que compensa a ausência de frigobar. Uma outra coisa que nos incomodou é que não entra carro na rua do hotel, tem que andar alguns metros. Precisa atenção ao chamar transfer, pois como o hotel fica próximo ao palácio do governo, por vezes fecham a rua principal que dá acesso e tivemos de andar um pouco até onde era permitido entrar de carro na volta pro aeroporto. Novamente nada que nos impeça de voltar. Ficamos 5 diárias

The hotel has done a very good job in renovating and the staff are friendly.
However there was an island wide black out that affected the hotel
They did not provide any lanterns or come around and check on guests in the morning.
The hotel should also invest in a generator or solar power

A plesant stay for a short trip! Stayed for 4 days and 3 nights, and it was very comfortable the entire time. The bed was very plush, and the location is terrific! The hotel is directly across from excellent restaurants, lots of shopping, and in the heart of downtown Willemstad.

This was my first trip to Curaçao, and the location of San Marco was absolutely perfect! We didn’t rent a car and relied on public transportation, which was easy since the hotel is just a five-minute walk from both bus stops that take you all over the island. Restaurants and shopping are right nearby, offering plenty of variety—you could eat at a different place every day for a week! Plus, it’s only a two-minute walk to the iconic Queen Emma Bridge.
Our room was super clean, and we booked one with a balcony. As a light sleeper, I did hear some noise from outside at night, but it wasn’t a big issue. Next time, I plan to bring my kids and will book a room without windows to minimize any outside sounds. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely return!

I only stayed here 1 night, it was in the perfect location to site see, shops and restaurants. The hotel was nice, room was clean. Just a basic room nothing fancy but it was fine for me. The only issue it was rather noisy from the street noice at night and then first thing in the morning. So pack ear plugs

The experience of dealing with staff was problematic. This is the first time in my husband and I, 32 years of marriage we ever had to argue with maid service. Here are the list of problems.
*The room cards constantly failed.
*We got a phone call at 1am in the morning waking us up, because the front desk thought we should not be there although we checked in the prior day. We thought it was fraudulent front desk call, so I hung up, then proceeded to call the front desk to confirm the phone call but no numbers were listed for the front desk or emergency information, so fearing for our safety we waited until the morning to leave the room. When we told the front desk what happened they made it seemed it was no big deal, I guess our safety didn’t matter.
*Check out is 11am in the morning, we told the front desk at 10:50am we went shopping so we should be ready to leave the room at 11:15am, her reply was check out is 11 and the place is full so she can’t wait until 11:15am. We went to our room to finish packing, on the way to our room we passed 5 empty rooms being cleaned. The worse was at 11:05 the maid service knocked on our door and told us we have to leave it’s passed our time, I informed her I spoke with the front desk already and we are packing to leave. Then at 11:10 the maid showed up again and insisted that we leave which was very upsetting, told her again I already spoke to the front desk and if she has a problem speak with the front desk. We left at 11:20am

We booked through expedia a 3 person single room, upon check in the room was not available. The front desk gave us a room two double beds I was fine with that but my friends were not happy so they spoke to the manager. The manger upgraded us to 2 rooms with king beds. It made me left with an uncomfortable choice of choosing who I was gonna sleep with. In the end it worked out and the rooms were fine. The hotel was extremely clean rooms were updated, hotel location was great.

Great property at a very good value. Rooms are a little small for Canadian and US standards but still well equipped, very modern, and clean. Wifi was fast and reliable. Rooms near the front of the property may hear outside noise but it usually becomes quiet by 11 PM.
