We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment for 3 nights. Originally we were checked into room 13G and due to some smells that I can only describe as old library or thrift store smell, we requested a room change. The staff were accommodating and put us in 23G, which was slightly better.

First thing to note is that a 4-star hotel in China is not the same as a 4-star hotel in North America. The apartment we stayed in was located in a separate tower than the main hotel rooms, and seemed significantly worse for wear than the standard hotel rooms (my family stayed in a standard room last year and found it satisfactory, which was the reason why we stayed here).

Things we liked about this hotel: location, reasonable price, and being able to stay in one apartment as a family.

If you’re from North America, the apartment in this hotel is reminiscent of a poor decision many years ago to stay at a Howard Johnson in Detroit. One of our bathrooms had a clogged shower drain, and the carpeting in the rooms were suspect. Having stayed in other hotels in China, I fully understand that the beds are firmer than the standard North American mattress, but this bed was hard as rock. After 3 nights of sleeping here, I developed quite the sore back (and I’m in the prime of my life!).

My recommendation is that if you pick this hotel to stay at, steer clear of the apartments and opt for an upgraded room in the main tower instead.

Adequate hotel but the rooms we stayed in were quite dated. There are some refurbished rooms but suspect they are marked at a higher price. Would be ok with that if it was clear on the website (which it's not) Interesting location for the breakfast. Great view up there. Breakfast not so accommodating towards western delights. Wifi unnecessarily complicated to log in. Ended up not using it.

We rented an apartment, which had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchen. The overall apartment was very nice. The kitchen had no plates, bowls, cups, or silverware, however, which made it very difficult to use. The WIFI was poor and we couldn't get it to work, but since we had our own WIFI router, it wasn't necessary for us.

We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. Room size is reasonable, toilet with bath tub but not very big. Furniture in the room is abit old and bed abit on the hard side but still ok for us. It is located within walking distance of the Gong Bei checkpoint if you know the route otherwise you can take a taxi which wouldn't cost very much (hotel-checkpoint about RMB10). There are quite a number of eateries near and around the hotel. Hotel staff are ok but the room TV is a disappointment. Though it has many TV channels, you would need to scroll up/down 1 by 1. They isn't any key pads for you to key direct to the channel you want. Hotel needs some upgrading.

hotel almost 30 minutes walk from Gongbei Port.

Note sure how Expedia package it, but it says breakfast included. when we arrived at the hotel we were surprised breakfast was for 1 person only. Expedia, if you need to say breakfast included, then state it clearly, not in some small prints after i read the invoice.
So we have to pay for my wife's breakfast.

Hotel staff were ok but should concentrate on serving current customer till finished. During my checkout, the staff turn her attention to some locals wanting to check-in and another wanting to check-out instead of asking them to wait for their turn.

wifi is free but no password protection so we end up using data roaming.

The hotel is a bit on the old side, nice view if you're on top floors, rooms are small considering this hotel was standing before 1992. bed was too soft and generally sag. breakfast buffet was the same for the 2 mornings consisting of the usual stuff. Only consolation is the restaurant is revolving, so we get to see Zhuhai all around us.

We, my wife and I, check-in on 3 June 2018. We were delighted as the check-in process smooth and quick.
The room, 1813, was clean and comfortable... one of the best hotel rooms we had stayed. My wife birthday was on the following day. We were suprised to receive a red rose and chololate. Awesome!

On 29 floor, the restaurant was the best time we had. Besides the delicious food and cosy environment, we were very grateful to be served by the staffs. Beautifully, we have met a new friend, restaurant deputy manager, Ms Kitty.
Ms Kitty was friendly, professional and sincere in helping us including photo taking (in the restaurant). She also gave us her warm and lively smiles. My wife was very happy.

Ms Kitty's working attitude is laudable; and deserves a distinction... above Grade A.

Importantly, we friendship begins here at Guangdong Hotel Zhuhai.

The hotel is conveniently located in the Gongbei district, close to the Macau border, and a short taxi ride to the ferry terminal. For the price, it is a reasonable Chinese hotel - clean, but a little rough around the edges. The breakfast buffet on the 29th floor had a nice sampling of Western and Chinese breakfast items.

The hotel is one of original fancy ones in the city. It’s kind of old but still in good shape. Deeds are comfortable, other things are okay too. Nothing really is outstanding or poor. It’s location is good, within walking distance to the boardwalk.

Upon arrival was told that all the room will full, they suggest to take the next block of building which is a service apartment, we were shown of the room and we rejected them outright, we had book and paid up ten days prior to our arrival and how can they tell us our room is not available, after much delay they eventually give us our room, one of the room was smaller than we book and of sub standard, we demand that the smaller room must be change on the next day and they agreed so we take check into the room.

This is located near the walking street and shopping area. Taxis seem to come by frequently, so it's easy to get anywhere. The revolving restaurant breakfast at the top of the hotel was worth it for the view, though the food was so-so. Room was clean.

I booked a room with King bed but got a very poor room with twin bed. When I protested, they said they would join the beds. So I had to forcibly upgrade by paying an additional USD 20 per day. I expect Expedia to take this excess from the hotel and refund it to me.

This hotel is located in a very convenient place, less than 10 minutes by taxi from the border gate (or even 15 minutes walk), lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance, and not far away from the seaside road. The property is a little bit old, but is kept clean. The massage on the 3rd floor is nice. Wifi is available.

great location and good food.

The hotel is near the bus stop and you can take the local bus for sightseeing really cheap. Food is nearby and the night market open very late. There is a port that you can travel to HK, China and macau by boat. The hotel has a big lobby and the staffs are nice.

Family stayed there 2 nights. Decoration in apartment was old. Spacious 3 bed room apartment, living area, dining and small kitchen. No cutlery, plates etc. When we requested for them the staff said this was for long stay customers. We insisted on those and extra bedding as we travelled with kids. They finally found some for us. Takeaway food and restaurants are nearby. A lively street full of shops also neaeby. Nice to walk there at night

The best part of the hotel was the lobby. The rest of the hotel was a dive. Hallways leading to the room was badly lit. The room was ....don't know what the smell was... but a cleaning lady came in just after us to spray the room with deodorizer...and the smell lingers...This place was rated 4 stars? I hate to see a 3 star.

房間不大不小剛剛好
我們兩大一小（3y)
床大小也剛剛好一般雙人加大床不大也不小
但因為太熱了多準備的棉被變成多餘的
空調系統不夠強不夠冷
調整溫度與風量大小也一樣
睡到一半熱醒全身汗
隔音設備超差的
開關門很大聲

時隔N年重踏珠海，粵海酒店仍然屹立不倒，前台呢位男服務經理熱情有禮，本來見酒店裝修有些懷舊，有些失望😞，但給我賓至如歸的入住體驗，加分不少，值得讚賞👍。房間浴室陳舊，但乾淨，馬桶採用智能廁板，床上用品舒適，仲有小食贈送，細節做得好好，性價比高！以上入住體驗供大家參考！
