We chose this hotel because it is close to my parents’ apartment, and it turned out to be a great choice. The view was lovely, and the overall environment was clean, quiet, and very pleasant. The vibe of the hotel is calm and comfortable.

The staff were extremely helpful. When we asked about upgrade options, they kindly showed us the actual room before we made our decision, which we really appreciated.

The hotel is located in a residential area, so it’s not close to casinos or major tourist attractions. However, since our trip was focused on visiting relatives, the location was perfect for us. It felt peaceful and never crowded like typical tourist areas.

If you’re looking for a quiet, local experience rather than a busy tourist spot, this hotel is an excellent choice.

Bed is extremely big, and the city view is nice.
Walk in wardrobe is a plus point too.
And is good to have a hotel which no casino, since not everyone came for gambling.

This is one of the best hotel we stayed in. The room is well equipped and super cozy. Closet even had a flash light and an umbrella. Very modern and thoughtful design overall. Besides the bed being a bit smaller than a typical queen size, this is the best hotel I ever stayed in. Highly recommend!

Awesome property. A little walk to the bus stop and taxi wait time was not as great. Food options was also okay. The propery was in excellent condition with large rooms. Beds are extra big as well as the bathroom. The view is also great. Swimming pool was on smaller side and water a little cold.

We love the staff of this hotel. When we checked in, we told the front desk staff, Kevin Yang, that we have three people. He suggests a room with a sofa bed to us. However, Kevin noticed that there is a strong cigarette smelt in the room. It seems that previous hotel guest may have smoke in the room despite it is a non-smoking room. He immediately assign us to another one.
The room is great. The staffs are helpful and very friendly. Even though I stayed in the hotel for only one night, the front desk staff like, Kevin, recognized me and remembered what I have asked him the previous night.
The only suggestion I have for this hotel is that I think they should consider provide shuttle service to the HK-Zhuhai-Macau bridge port. It is very closed to the hotel. The hotel already have shuttle to the ferry station but it would be great if the shuttle also goto the HKZM port.

Very helpful staff at Reception/Concierge provided useful advise to use the hotel's free shuttle to Macau Ferry Terminal where there are also many free shuttles services to hotels which are in the city and within walking distance of St Paul's Ruins and also to the other landmark hotels. Saved us a lot of taxi fares.

We Were upgraded for free to a suite room and my family enjoy the spacious room. Buffet breakfast is good, we also enjoyed the indoor pool. We had a good night stay. Location is very peaceful, away from the noise of the city but you can easily travel around via public buses or taxi.

This is a very bad location to stay if you are a tourist. Contradicting to what the hotel location showed, the actual location is at the other end of the main entertainment area where Grand Lisboa is. The surrounding area is a local neighbourhood and schools. Not for tourists.

You will need a taxi to get out of the hotel, which, unfortunately, you will have to wait at least 10 mins if you are lucky as taxi don't usually come in.

Hotel's free shuttle service to Border Gate is 50 mins interval. SANDS, which is at the main entertainment area has a 10 to 12 mins interval.

Hotel staff are cold and you don't feel welcomed at all, and, I am on IHG Diamond Elite top tier status.

I booked 4 nights and canceled without refund, after the first night. Rebook into Sands Macau, and the experience is fantastic!

The location was a big out of the city centre and the shuttle bus provided by the hotel is insufficient. You need to catch public buses or taxi to go around.
Also, hotel asked for $1,000 deposit when checking in, no matter if we already fully paid for our stay. I think it’s a bit too much.

Great mid-range priced hotel in Macau

If you are not a gambler and is heading to Macau to soak in the culture and history of the city as well as to avoid the craziness and high costs of staying in fancy over-the-top casino hotels, then this international chain hotel is an excellent choice for you. It is quietly tucked away in the older part of Macau, with all the standard amenities like heated swimming pool and a restaurant. The room including the bathroom is big and includes a small lounge with very comfortable bed and a very big walk-in closet too! I'm happy I chose Crown Plaza.

A relaxing Macao hotel experience

We had a short, but very pleasant stay the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Upon arrival at the Macao International Airport, we took the cab straight to the hotel, a short 10-min trip. Check-in upon arrival at the hotel was fast. The room looked luxurious and clean, very comfortable to sleep in.
In the morning, we woke up with a view of the zuhai bridge, and of the sunrise, too. You can also see the view from the bathroom, with its sliding windows open.
The staff are generally commendable for their warm and helpful service. Special mention to Cris and Raymond who have enthusiastically given us directions on how to get transpo around Macao, helped us hail a cab, and given us useful information.
The location is a bit away from the busy Macao, but perfect place to unwind, take a dip at the pool, spend some gym time with a view, or just relax and do some leisurely walk around the area.

Location of hotel is in close proximity (15mins walking distance, bus service available as well) with Zhuhai, China. Peaceful environment away from the casinos. Cafes and restaurants can be found around the hotel vicinity as well.
Hotel is spacious with bathtub and a walk in wardrobe!
Hotel staff are very helpful and friendly.
Will come back and stay again :)

the property is away from the center of town where all the casinos are located. Overall, it is a quiet place to stay. There are plenty of restaurants around the property where you can find local food. The only drawback is , the shuttle starts its service at 9 a.m. only to the ferry boats to Hong Kong, but there is no shuttle service to the airport. And there is no queue of taxis available in front of the hotel. One needs to have front desk to call service for the customers. The front desk is not willing to call a taxi to wait in front, but will call for one only when the customers are actually waiting in the lobby. This is a waste of time, in my opinion

Not much free shuttle bus to from Macau City and the others main place! When enquire something about outside of the hotel , anything good food can recommend and ask for any massage shop around for 24hrs , they also cannot give prompts reply to me. Overall, the quality of your hotel staff is relatively poor.
