Very bad experience for staying this hotel. Even it’s non smoking floor, it’s smoking smell everywhere. Bad smoking smell in the room and also the blanket and pillows. My kids kept complaining and do not want to stay there.

Mediocre at best

Before I get into the downers, some good aspects include the friendly staff and its close proximity to the old town landmarks.
Now the downers, to get to residential level you’ll have to switch elevators which is kinda inconvenient; the room while basically clean, has weird smells of smoke and mold; the casino is not appealing, especially when compared to nearby Grand Libosa or the Venetian casino. Overall, I only stayed one night despite having booked two, and switched to Venetian Macau right away.

Shocking and disappointing stay this time !

Hotel service has deteriorated. The carpets need vacuuming, extra attention and time in cleaning the room, and no turn-down room service. The newspapers have changed too. I could not get hold of the South China Morning Post as China Daily is the only papers available. Being a regular guest, I was appalled by the unfavorable and slow service as most staff have resigned. I had to ring for newspapers and fruit as records of regular guests was overlooked. Very disappointed in this trip !

The staff are friendly and helpful. Though it is a bit troublesome to change lifts at level 6 in order to go to the rooms, there is always a staff there to help you. Good service. I enjoyed my stay and will recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives.

Good location, not clean at all

The staffs are very nice, we checked in with an upgraded executive room. Yet the room is old and unclean, the bathroom is dirty, the bathtub is very dusty. The room facilities are old and some drawers are broken. Not a very pleasant experience.

Nice hotel. It is nicer than I expected. A lot of hotels we went to are slightly different than the photos we've seen, but The Landmark Macau is more than what we were imagined. It shows a 4 star on the internet but I think it deserves a 5 star or near 5 star.

Dark and cold hotel

The hotel felt dark and cold (not about air conditioning). You just don’t feel it’s a welcoming hotel. The Hotel restaurant felt like gotcha you, a small cup of orange juice cost about US$10. I did not even ask the price but expected $5+ or -. So watch out when you do have to order. One need to take elevator twice to reach the room. Walk in between the elevators are pretty long.

No shuttle service from the ferry to the hotel, which is disappointing for how nice the rest of our hotel stay was. Our room was very large, quiet, and comfortable. AC can be adjusted to suit your needs.
Pool area was wonderful and felt good after a day of exploring Macau.

Reasonable price, good location

It was my 1st stay in such a big hotel. Although is a casino hotel, but its casino is quite small. Other than that, the staffs are friendly enough. Around the hotel, there are lots of local restaurants, so no worries about food. For transport, bus station is just behind the hotel, within few minutes walk. To go others sight seeing places, there are some free shuttle bus provided by the Star World Casino, which located opposite to our hotel. The hotel room is big and comfortable, water pressure is the best thing I like the most. Only thing is, you have to take several lift transit to reach your room. But all the way to your room, there are staffs standing by for you.

A bit cryptic from/to the harbor

Their shuttle service needs to be straightened up. There is no way to tell at the speedboat harbor where their bus would pick up guests. The management should also be aware that there are two harbors and which harbor they are going to is not very clearly specified (and the driver spoke no English and that helped).

Staff was exceptional...we got cake and wine compliments of the assistant duty manager Kate to celebrate our honeymoon. Used the spa on several occasions... great massage and pool for swimming. We had a very relaxing time.

Further, upon checking in, I was upgraded to a Junior suite room because the room that I booked was occupied. The hotel staff that help checked me in was extremely helpful and very polite. If I'm ever in Macau, I would absolutely booked this hotel again.

Checked in and checked out quick and easy. Friendly staff. Huge room for a couple. Unfortunately, air conditioning system can not be controlled in the room. Tried setting temp to 21 but always reset to 23 and after sometimes the temp increases to 23.8..... which is too stuffy, so have to turn it off
Shuttle bus - ferry terminal to hotel could be more frequent will be a plus.

Ignore the bars advertised , one is a coffee area on first floor where ordering anything other than a beer is a struggle. The pool bar has zero drinks and no bar staff.
The Cave is an underground cold karaoke place that opens at 6 pm
I was the only customer at 9 on Friday and Saturday for one beer each time ,

Great hotel and centrally located near city center

This is my second time staying in this hotel. I first stayed there back in 2014 when they first renovated. The rooms are nice size with comfy bed. I like the location of the hotel as it allows me to walk around to all the local shops and try out all the restaurants.

The staff was friendly and very helpful to accommodate my needs. I was informed by the staff that they offer free pick up for any guest that is staying with them anywhere in Macau. Just called them from the Ferry Terminal or at the border crossing from China.

Price of the hotel was very competitive and my booking which included full access to the mini-bar. The wi-fi was free and the speed was amazing.

I would definitely stay here again when i visit Macau.

We have booked 4 rooms for a friends gathering in Macau, hotel rooms are spacious and nice decorated. Location is good and convenience, there is many restaurants around the hotel. Only the check out time is too long and guests need to wait for housekeeping checking when you check out.

The room is very spacious with a large bathroom. The decoration is great! Free drinks in the fridge, free bus commute from the harbor and a free smart phone with free calling! A lot of TV channels. Nice view on the 12th floor. And the pricing is very reasonable. The cleaner staff would ask you if you need room service when they see you out. My wife and I did not try the restaurants in the hotel, because we think they are expensive. But the hotel offers a coupon. The location is great, close to downtown scenarios. And a lot of casinos nearby. Two bad things. mold in the bathroom and TV controller.

Landmark is an excellent hotel choice for us, it has spacious room and we have great experience. The only downside that I can point is the smell in the corridor leading to our room, it smells like an old building. Although it's not that distinctive or disturbing, but other hotels I visited during my holiday were nicer.

The hotel was in a convenient location in Macau and in generally good condition. The room was very spacious and nicely decorated but the bathroom not so clean. The king mattress was not flat and probably needed replacing. We couldn't get breakfast on the day we wanted it as they said breakfast was fully booked out.

Hotel manager responded promptly and arranged complimentary cake and wine for us. The staff are so nice and the room was decorated so romantic. The hotel was good and location quite convenient. The room was very spacious but not so clean. The king bed mattresses needed replacing as it was no longer flat. The staff were all pretty friendly. We were also not able to get breakfast on the day we wanted as the breakfast bookings were full. This is something we had not experienced before in a larger hotel.

Sleepless night!

Hookers knocked on doors for 10 minutes at 2 am. They stopped after calling the front desk. Door bell rang again at 2:50 am again and I just don't feel safe.

Cannot believe it happens at a 5 stars hotel.

The reception give me the wrong room initially after some complaint and one hour wait I was changed to the correct room. Nothing particular about this hotel other than the price is cheaper than others. I would suggest you spend a few dollar more to get the Grand Room which is fairly large in size.

English is a must!

We loved this hotel for comfort and hospitality. The room was big, the beds and pillows were comfortable. However the concierge service was terribly disappointing. First, the concierge was mostly non-existent. We stopped by twice and found no one. When we finally called, we were told to come down. Then, someone DID show up, but that person could not understand excellent English (I teach speech), nor excellent Mandarin. We wanted to go the Macau museum of history, but NO ONE HAD ANY IDEA WHAT WE WERE TALKING ABOUT! REALLY?! That is just not acceptable. We were also directed to a restaurant we could never find (no address was known) We were told NOT to eat at the hotel, but when we did, we VERY MUCH ENJOYED THE BUFFET LUNCH. Kate was helpful. The free shuttle service was very useful and appreciated.

OK it's macau so I expect some issues.. But this was pretty horrible. 1- room was non smoking but was super smokey like horrible. I had to sleep with my face covered it was so bad. 2- I booked king but they only had queen.

Service was fine, hotel has free WiFi and mini bar is free. However for a few more bucks I would go elsewhere next time for sure.

We are in Macau to celebrate a friend's birthday. The hotel is very thoughtful to prepare a birthday cake for us. Hotel staff are hospitable and helpful. We enjoy the deco,overall quietness of the hotel and comfortable rooms. For my room, there was a bit of drainage problem with the shower and the hot/cold water taps of the bath tub were difficult to control. They had been fixed quickly upon request.

The room itself was amazing and we were allowed to check in early when we arrived an hour and a half before the original check in time. The air conditioning was a bit disappointing as the ventilation wasn't good enough. The other thing not perfect enough was because guests had to change lifts at the 6th floor before we can get to the room floors, and it was a bit inconvenient and time consuming.

The hotel is strategically located and there are a lot of restaurants and shops around. The hotel manager on duty that we met, Edmund was very friendly and professional. The room is very cosy, spacious and we love every bit about it. We will definitely go back to Landmark Hotel again.

Two nights in Macau. We loved the mini bar being included. Bathroom is spacious with excellent water pressure, vanity items and amenities. SUPER comfortable for China. No central heat, but housekeeping brought us a space heater. Only drawbacks everything closes at 9pm so after. Full day walking tour of Macau it would have been nice to hit a jacuzzi.

The hotel was under renovation during our stay. It was noisy and smelled funny. Rooms are small and had a funny smell. The service was good and the staff was accommodating (the staff tried to use an air freshener to cover the smell of the room).The area was great and convenient. Very nice hotel and not very expensive. Rooms are a decent size but the bathrooms are huge. Hotel staff was very friendly. The casino is unfortunately quite small and requires for you to sign up for a player's card which means you have to give them your passport again. But the location is great, right on the strip so if you plan on gaming somewhere else then this is a great place to stay.
