No free parking, ok, maybe it’s my fault not to check carefully but the indoor pool was rent to a private swimming class and it’s occupied till 7pm on Sunday and it’s not told until I checked in and saw the notice on the desk! And no breakfast available even you are willing to pay

The room was very spacious. The bathroom was to die for with amazing view. The buffet breakfast that was included was really good with lots of selection. To top it off, we booked this unit for 3 people. Upon checkin, I was asked if I wanted an extra bed added at no extra cost. Amazing service.

This is my 2nd time staying in the Ascott, I was here exactly 1 yr ago too. Initially was given a room on the 3rd floor~ the wooden parquet flooring was badly cracked so I requested for a change. Thnkfully, the receptionist got us a room on the 5th floor whivh was alot better but my only complain was that it reeked of smoke despite being a non smoking room.

Generally, I find the location and price for the size of the room good but wish they would upgrade their pillows and have a variery of soft and hard ones.

Quiet sanctuary in a busy casino city

Beautiful lobby, spacious and well-appointed executive suite.
Staff at front desk, especially Coey, has been most accommodating.
They help celebrate my sister's (who was travelling with us) birthday with a signed card and a birthday cupcake.
They made us feel at home.

Good clean rooms and good location. Breakfast was very subpar though, I didn't even eat it as it looked so unappetizing :( I think it's not run but the hotel but an outside mainland restaurant so the quality of the food and staff were bad. Skip the breakfast and eat somewhere else

Property still considered quite new. The living and kitchen area combined is rather big. Overall would see it as quite spacious and well maintained.

Liked the fact that it’s not a casino but near to many of the big ones so the free shuttle buses are around, with the nearest being the MGM Macau. There is also a 24hr MacDonalds literally just across the road.

Great location across from MGM Macau and within walking distance to Wynn. Really friendly staff. Spacious, elegant and clean Executive Suite. There were a couple of minor problems in the room - such as a difficult to close bedroom door in the suite, and a kitchen without a single kitchen towel.

bad experience

one of the worst traveling experience. Several facts:
1. we arrived at the hotel 4:00pm, but were told the room yet available. We got the room at 6:00pm.
2. the A/C is very noisy, much affecting our sleeping.
3. the quilt is smelly, making us unable to sleep.
4. But badly, I found an opened condom plastic pack under basin.

We had a one-bedroom apartment suite on the 7th floor which had the following amenities:
- Self-contained kitchen (which we didn't make use of)
- Washer/dryer: one of the reasons that we booked this apartment hotel, it's convenient
- Good, separate aircond for bedroom & living area
- Good view of the streets below (could see MGM across the street)
- Great bathroom with separate bath tub & shower - it also had a TV in the tub area

The gym was very spacious but not many exercising equipment. This was more than adequate for our needs though.
Good indoor & outdoor pools.
Good buffet breakfast with a wide variety
There's no shuttle bus provided by the hotel but about 2 blocks away, there's a shuttle bus service in front of the StarWorld hotel

This was a family friendly hotel and we will make use of in the future

The overall experience was good. Their suites were clean and spacious. However, on our check-in date, the key card system of the hotel was in a mess. We get into problem in activate their elevators and room door. It was quite troublesome to ask their staffs to help whenever we encountered the problem, although their staffs’ attitude was pleasing. Anyway, it indicated that their computer system was not very reliable. In addition, their WIFI signal was not strong and it’s connection had some intermittent issue.

The staff is very nice but not the management. After I have a neutral survey in Expedia, the manager email me a high bureaucratic response. They should more attentive to details such as preparing the suite for the number of guest instead of lack of one whole set of everything. Blanket has to come with cover or sheet. Response has to be courtesy not staff. Pardon, I am not a lecturer. Avoid the management!!!

Nice area with no casino in the building

Good sized room. The beds were a little uncomfortable and so were the pillows.
There was a great selection for breakfast but sadly all the hot breakfast items like bacon, hash browns baked beans were cold every morning.The facilities were there to keep the food warm but the restaurant staff insisted on keeping the lids to the hot food open even when we kept closing them they judt didnt seem to grasp the concept of keeping the food hot.

We had a great stay. We celebrated our 10th yr anniversary in Ascot Macau. We stayed for 4 days all were great they gave us upgraded room to executive suite and a bottle of wine with greeting card. My 2 yr old daughter love the room it’s spacious and clean. They only need to improve their buffet food. Almost the same food we ate for 4 days of our stay. Outdoor pool is not available and indoor pool is not heated. But all in all we will go back in this hotel

This is a repeat stay in this hotel. The overall is acceptable. The concierge is friendly and helpful. The room has what it requires. They offer good amenities. However, it would be good for them to provide small packet of washing powder since there's a washer provided (or at least available for purchase). The breakfast is acceptable. The service staff can improve in their service and friendliness.

Stay was 1 night only to attend a New Year's Eve party in Macau - chose The Ascott as my friend's flat is close by. Check-in was a bit slow as they had only 2 staff and several guests waiting, but a 3rd staff member was called in when they saw the queue. The first room I was shown was on a low floor with a lot of street noise. When I complained they changed this to their top floor on the side street side, much quieter, although the view is unattractive. The weather was very cold and the room was freezing - the air conditioning is supposed to do heating as well but it wasn't at all effective and there was only a thin duvet on the bed. However, they gave me an extra blanket on request and luckily I'd thought to bring a hot water bottle :). The service was very helpful and responsive. The room (Executive Suite) was spacious and the bathroom particularly good, with great shower (rain shower and hand-held), bathtub with TV screen. Breakfast didn't seem great but I arrived very late and there was hardly anything left, so I can't really judge - however, the coffee was as weak as water, better to use the coffee machine in the room if you want caffeine. Location is extremely central in Peninsular Macau, easy to get taxis or the casino shuttle buses from the MGM or Wynn's, both a couple of minutes walk away. As I'd booked very late for a peak period, the rate was extremely high, but under normal circumstances the hotel offers good value for the area and amount of space.

Our family enjoyed our stay in this hotel. It is close to many transit bus stations. It is very spacious, modern and clean. We had the executive suite so we had a kitchen and living room. The continental breakfast had good variety of food and was quite good. The staff was friendly.

I like the style of this hotel ,simple but classy . We enjoyed upgrade to suite and free buffet brealfast as well as early check in . Normal check in time should be 3pm ,we got our room at 1:30 ,check in progress is super quick . What needs to be improve is that the odor in lift is strange (at least is unpleasant to me) and I hope they will provide hair dryer in the room. Other room facilities are great ,matress ,toilet, bathtub with tv.... will definitely go back to this hotel again. By the way, the casinos are just right next to the hotel ,we walk there in the late night which is very convenient to us.

1. I had to wait until more than 4pm to check-in as the room wasn't prepared. You can almost see sunset when check-in.
2. Asked for extra bed when booked but there's no extra bed even after long preparation time. I had to ask again for it. The hotel didn't pay attention what I asked for.
3. They didn't allow me to put a bill onto my room when I had breakfast at the hotel restaurant. So I had to came back to my hotel room again to bring my credit card to pay the breakfast. Never experienced this in any other hotels.
4. There is no hotel shuttle bus. Not like other big hotels in Macau.

The stay at Ascott was extremely comfortable and convenient. The room was spacious and offered several useful amenities. Location was good, situated close to: the major MGM and Wynn casinos, the waterfront, within walking distance to the historical attractions (e.g. Ruins of St.Pauls), and a bus hub (in front of Hotel Lisboa) for easily getting around Macau.

The only two downsides were: the breakfast, which was fine but a little basic, and the AC in the room was quite noisy.

Spacious but like staying a flat !

Glad to have the room upgraded to Executive Suite, however, no Executive lounge facilities provided in the hotel. Only 7 floors in the hotel, all the above floors are residential thus don't expect to have harbourview.

Next to MGM which has somewhere to be explored. The varieties of breakfast was not much but the coffee looks special, different from other hotels made.

Service is rather slow but the rooms are large, well appointed, quiet and clean. Beds are comfortable. Adequate number of electrical plugs. The coffee machine was leaking. Wifi is good in the rooms but doesn't work in the lobby.

Everything is perfect but not the staff.

The staff are very nice and poilet but no system in their work, training is needed!!
Slow check in and out process, prefer a cash deposit rather than a credit card(hello it is 2017?!)
the staff seem cannot understand my Cantonese, english even mandarin.......
The most terribly is that they crashed into my room at 11am and told me that the front desk ask her to clear the room due to the customer has already been checked out!!!!
The housekeeping manager did apologized to me tho......
Overall I would love to stay here again my next macau trip due to the very good hotel condition!!!

Nice apartments with cooking facilities.
Nice indoor and outdoor pool, with barely no guests. Breakfast is passable, but got a distinct feel of Chinese \"4 star\" hotel to it.
As we all know by now, something must have died in the lifts, as they smell dreadfull, luckily the hotel only got 7 floors, so you can make it to the top level on one breath.

Quiet Hotel near Wynn and MGM

This hotel is very different than most in Macau, most are busy and are family oriented. Ascott is more like a serviced apartment, room is a suite with a kitchenette, high ceilings, separate bedroom and bath. Services seem a bit limited, breakfast was not very good, but it was included in the room price.

Amazing value for money. Ascott is 5*!

Was upgraded to a suite as there were no more standard rooms left. Got a large room with a living room, kitchenette & large bathroom. The room decor was new and modern & the bathroom had a tub with a TV. The in-room products were high quality (L'occitane) & the housekeeping staff would refill everything daily. Enjoyed our stay at Ascott very much and would return again to any Ascott establishments gladly.

The only negative I can think of was that the breakfast selection was limited but it didn't bother us very much as we wanted to explore Macau cuisine and had plans to eat out anyway.
