Fancy hotel to stay at was overall a good experience with only some issues. The main issue I had was staff at some of the restaurants at the hotel ignored me because I spoke English and they apparently didn't so yea but they should make an effort not just walk away from me when I try asking them questions. The other main issue is with the transportation they offer a shuttle service but apparently you need a pass to get it and you have to navigate the casino/hotel to get to it with luggage. Why on earth do you put the place to get the shuttle pass ticket in the casino area and I can't bring my luggage in to get my shuttle pass. Getting around was a nightmare and more trouble then it was worth. Another complaint I had was they gave me a plate of fruit but I am just one person and only staying one night seems a bit wasteful to expect me to eat a Pitaya three apples a banana and other fruits in such a short period of time. They also gave me a 16GB USB flash drive that was branded but seems kind of unnecessary The room was great though even had a tv in the toilet and bathroom although it would always turn on when turning on the lights which isn't always necessary.

Wonderful gastronomic delight

It was an excellent experience, the food at the Guincho a Galera was as scrumptious as ever.
The only regret was that we did not manage to get a sitting at the Robuchon au Dome.

The property is located near other hotels/casinos and your only a few minutes walking distance to shopping centers and plenty of convenient stores around the hotel. The front desk people were super nice and up graded us. The room was incredibly nice and the view out our window was wonderful!! We will definitely stay here again with our family!

It was a bad experience!

We smell not comfortable when we got into the room. So, we requested to change it. They said that they can not provided the same grade of room for us and asked us to accept the lower grade. We have no chose at that moment. By the way, someone rang the bell at mid night and asked us do we need water. But we did not call room services. Why they bother us at mid night time?

I specifically requested and was confirmed a non smoking room. The room ended up spacious with an excellent view but a strong cigarette smell with a big crystal ashtray on the coffee table. The reception and luggage storage service was good but concierge service was very cool and quite unhelpful.

Good week in Grand Hotel Lisboa

Great location at the center of Macau. Service is good apart from some difficulties in the shuttles from and to the airport, which only operates occasionally before 5pm. The hotel is relatively old fashioned but still in good condition. A big minus is the huge number of Chinese tourists sitting on the floor or taking photos in the lobby, blocking the hotel guests. It is difficult to get them to leave but the hotel need to try something.

What a great hotel

I stayed here for three days and the staff were fantastic especially the concerge staff. The only compliant is the pillows need to be better they go flat in the night and the non smoking room still gets smoke in through air conditioning. The shower even had a steam shower.
For a luxurious stay this hotel is the one.

We avoided the replicas of Vegas hotels for a short stay in Macao and were not disappointed - we were upgraded to a larger suite with a balcony that had the same floor area as the suite ... and a stunning view of the city. The hotel suite was impeccably clean and well appointed ... the bathroom was equipped with a steam shower room and separate Jacuzzi. The lobby of the hotel has some stunning Chinese carving, furniture, and art on display. The gym is of a good size and well equipped ... despite the size of the hotel and the fact that it appeared to be nearly full. the exercise room was mostly empty.
Avoid asking a concierge where to eat ... the recommendations tend to be to lesser quality tourist restaurants ... there is plenty of good eating in Macao, go with online reviews.

We arrived early so the room is ready at 3pm. They do not provide early check in. We had breakfast at the hotel. I explained to them I had a seafood allergy so dont provide me shrimp dim sum. They still gave it to me. Thank god I recognized the shrimp or else I would have had an anaphylatic reaction.
The room is clean and spacious. We had to leave the next day to take the ferry terminal. The receptionist replied no shuttle service. I was shocked.The other receptionist said no we have shuttle service. Weird experience. Staff are not sure of services.

The only good thing was concierge. They helped us book a show at the Cotai Strip. The Cotai Strip is $100 HKD taxi ride.

The attractions St Paul Ruins and Senoda Square are walking distance.

Overall they put a hold on your credit card for one month.

Would not go back to this hotel

The hotel is beautiful and at convenient location. The room is clean and with many equipment such as sauna room and massage bathtub。
I think they should put more sign in it. When you go to your room, you must scan your room card in the elevator, or the elevator will not move. But the sing is very small. It bothers the first time guest.

A very well situated hotel with access to old town and neighboring district for the main Macau.
It was disappointing that the casino had no craps table but lots of baccarat and other european style gambling tables. The minimums were very high and we avoided them. Our friend did try her hand at the slots. Finally, shuttle buses to and from the ferry terminal were hard to find (from the terminal) and had to wait going to the terminal. In the end, we used cabs in both direction.

From the checkin to checkout the whole experience was first class and amazing.
The staff at this hotel are exceptional.The restaraunts are fairly expensive but excellent and the location is in the hub of macao.Room service is done twice a day,you have a personal steam room and jacuzzi and complimentary drinks.100s of cable channels and magnificent views.
Well done to everyone involved and look forward to my next visit.

It was great. Everything was top notch. We ordered an upgraded room with lake view and it didn't disappoint. We had a small baby and we were furnished with a full size crib- very nice. The room was very large, sauna and jacuzzi tub in bathroom. Opulent fairly describes the lobby and rooms. I would definitely recommend.

Great in almost every aspect

The hotel is in the city centre and nearby are the bus transit point , and thus we need not worry about not being able to get a cab. The room is great with a fantastic lake view, and is clean, tidy and comfy. Unfortunately we had changed room for a short while when they were trying to repair the steam room and had to move to a room on a smoking floor. That room smelt awful with tobacco but the hotel quickly arranged for us to move back to the original room on a non smoking floor. The bathroom comes with a steam bath facility and Zagucci bath tub, just feel wonderful! The TV and sound system are also great.

I also had time to do swimming and again the facilities at the gym are impeccable!

Further all the wonderful restaurants inside the hotel.

Great hotel and highly recommended. The hotel itself offers facilities for a resort style stay.

An absolutely amazing hotel

We arrived at the hotel at around 12:00noon. Check in was fast even though it was on a Sunday. The receptionist was extremely friend, helpful and had a good sense of humor.

We got a room on the 27th floor facing the south which had an amazing view of the bridge (Pte. Gov. Nobre de Carvalho). The room was spacious, very clean and equipped with all the amenities we needed, except an iron. The drinks in the mini bar were free. The bathroom was amazing! it was equipped with whirlpool, shower with sauna (steam bath). There were two TVs in the bathroom!

The location of the hotel is excellent: located at the centre of the city and is within walking distance of major tourist attractions such as the Aenado Sqaure, the Ruins of St. Paul and the Monte Fort. There are also a lot of shops nearby.

There were quite a number of restaurants in the hotel. We had breakfast and lunch at 'Noodle and Congee' and dinner at the '8 restaurant'. The foods were excellent.

Grand Lisboa is truly an amazing building with a distinctive architectural design. It looked magnificent at night from outside when the light-show was turned on.

I will definitely stay at Grand Lisboa on my next visit to Macau.

Being a old hotel(compared to the new ones @Contai strip), Grand Lisboa still maintained it's charm. From the monment you check in, everything is above expection. Specially thankful to Laxman( bellboy) for taking the effort to give us a brief intro of our room, requesting for extra bottled water & ice, checking whether in the room or where we can watch the Euro Cup Live. He really take pride in his job, thumbs up!

Closure of the pool marred our stay.

We booked this hotel based on the fantastic looking swimming pool. So we were bitterly disappointed that it was closed and none of the staff could adequately tell us why. It appeared that this was because there was a thunder storm and they were concerned over the risk of lightening strike, which is absolutely ridiculous and I've never heard of such a stupid thing before.

Iconic Hotel for Macau

The hotel is new, clean, and location is good for seeing old Portugese section of town - very close to Wynn and MGM, but not close to the Venetian and Hard Rock. There are few expats in this area (Hard Rock is a better place for that), but the casinos and hotels are Las Vegas style and standard. Room is big and clean with sauna and plenty of windows, space, free mini bar. Very comfortable. Casino has too much Baccarat and not enough variation (poker, craps, etc.). Should have better bus system from ferry, and to other casinos and sites (especially given the heat in summer)

This hotel has probably the most outstanding housekeeping service ever. My room was made up daily within 1 hour of selecting \"Make Up Room\" instead of \"Do Not Disturb\". I have never seen this type of speedy housekeeping service even within major global 5 star hotel chains in my 20+ years or so of traveling... double thumbs up! Everything else is as you would expect from a typical 5 star hotel, but I thought this \"all time outstanding\" housekeeping service was worth a mention.

MORE THAN JUST GAMBLING!!

It was a pleasant stay. Staff were very helpful and attentive to whatever we needed. Language is a problem though for English speakers, however, staff doesn't give up and try to help in the best possible way. Food variety was good. My children were guided well by the staff for their own exploration wishes and we found (me n the wife) more time for ourselves and gambling! Spa and fitness center including the swimming pool were good too. We stayed on 24th level, lake facing deluxe rooms; the rooms had its own sauna and Jacuzzi; free WI FI and bar. We loved everything about and on the rooms! We have stayed at Wynn-Vegas, however, I rate this stay of ours better than Wynn! Definitely, coming back again!

Truly a Macau Landmark

Pros:
- free transportation from Ferry terminals (all major hotels have shuttles in ferry terminals awaiting with the arrival of each ferry)
- centrally located, walking distance from the famous plaza, and old portuguese colonial buildings (historical part)
- there is a mini bus station in front of the hotel, where many buses stop so it's very easy to move around.
- very close to the Macau Tower - 3 minute bus/taxi ride
- my room had free wifi, and all the drinks in the minibar were included (1 beer, 1 water, 4 sodas, 3 juices).
- room is extremely comfortable, and the bathroom is even better
- toiletries are made by Hermes Paris
- safe in room.
- friendly staff - hey try to help as much as they can even with their limited English.
- Beds are amazing
- all movies included (also Adult films)
- the shower is out of this world, you can even program it to release steam while showering.

Cons:
- very limited English speaking staff
- only one device can use free Internet (wifi) at a time, I used 3 different devices, but had to disconnect one to use the other, but hey, it's free.

Warnings:
- in order to use the pool or The fitness center you have to register (at reception) all the people staying in the room so they can enter.
- the casino is a favorite between locals and during the weekends is packed.

Stunning hotel, superb room, excellent service,

Macau is the Chinese Las Vegas and beats its American rival in every respect. This hotel (which shouldn't be confused with the adjacent Hotel Lisboa), is the modern architectural centrepiece of the north island and was built by the legendary Stanley Ho.

Like Vegas, an assortment of homogenized Wynnn's, MGM's and similarly branded establishments cluster around the bay and all of these look inferior to the Grand Lisboa which dominates the skyline from every part of the island.

Free hotel shuttle buses operate regularly from the Hong Kong ferry and helicopter terminal and proceed along the Macau Grand Prix street circuit to the hotel.

Check-in was efficient with Union Jack badged staff indicating that they are proficient with the language. Any delay you experience here is likely to be self-induced as your attention is distracted by the fine art just metres away including if you look for it, a two hundred and six carat, category D flawless diamond.

My room was very large, spotlessly clean and had luxurious furnishings including two double beds and stunning views. A bathroom with probably more floor-space than my entire house included a rain shower (and a normal shower too - i liked using both simultaneously with opposite heat settings), jacuzzi, small sauna, in-mirror televisions (including one in the smallest room to help with, er....concentration??).

A superb 5-star experience and a fantastic place to visit.

まだ澳門がポルトガル領だった頃から頻回に来ていますが、今回2024年はコロナの影響もあり2016年以来の訪問となりました。
1番驚いたのは、日本人に対するサービスの変化ですね。以前は反日感丸出しのようなスタッフをよく見ましたが、今回はスタッフから親日感を感じました。日本語の勉強をしているスタッフにもお会いましたしね。
出来立ての頃と比べれば、ホテル自体は流石に少し老朽化を認めますが、それを上回るサービスを感じたので大満足です。しいてあげれば、トイレにウォシュレットがあれば文句無しです。
