How the rolling calculation works

For each date, the calculator counts distinct days of presence on that date and the previous 179 calendar days. Arrival and departure each count as a full day, including a same-day visit.

A planned trip is checked day by day. The longest continuous stay can differ from the days left in the window on arrival because older days may leave the window while you travel.

Which countries count?

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Latvia, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.

The UK, Ireland and Cyprus are not included in this Schengen short-stay count. Check the current official country list for your travel dates.

This tool applies only the standard 90/180-day calculation. It does not calculate shorter visa-sticker allowances, long-stay or residence-permit rights, or special bilateral arrangements. Ordinary Brazilian passport holders should check the specific agreement described in the official guidance.

Questions about this tool

Does moving to another Schengen country restart my days?

No. Relevant stays across the Schengen area share the same rolling count. A trip from France to Italy does not create a new 90-day allowance.

Do arrival and departure days both count?

Yes. A visit from Friday to Sunday counts as three days. Enter the dates of entry to and exit from the Schengen area.

Can this tell me whether I need a visa?

No. The calculator checks dates under one rule. Use the visa checker and official guidance to establish the entry requirements for your passport and circumstances.
