I stayed at the Beach Motel in Holyhead for one night before the ferry and was pleasantly surprised. I’m usually quite selective about where I stay, but we wanted something clean, convenient and good value – and this far exceeded expectations.

The lad on check-in was friendly, very professional and set the tone straight away. The room isn’t brand new, but it’s in good condition, well maintained and exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable and well made, the TV and kettle were a good size, and the USB mains sockets were genuinely useful. The room has a thermostatic radiator valve which worked perfectly, was warm and inviting when I arrived and I turned it down to cooler to sleep.

The bathroom was better than expected too: clean, a proper bath, and excellent water pressure in both the bath and shower. Towels were fresh and everything felt well looked after.

We stayed on a Monday so the bar didn’t serve food that night, but the menu in the room looked reasonably priced and would be worth trying on another evening.

Parking was easy with plenty of space, which made arriving late much simpler.

Overall, for the price, this was excellent value and ideal for anyone wanting a straightforward, comfortable stay near the ferry port. I’d happily stay again – not something I say often for a cheaper hotel. Highly recommended.

The motel was lovely and very clean but the room was very hot as you couldn’t open the window as it was on the balcony to all other rooms so we asked for a fan but still didn’t make it cooler.
Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly.

Each time i come to Trearddur i always stay here i wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else walking distance from the beach and the shops. Really handy for everything all the rooms are big and spacious with a bath and shower in all of them, they also have sky sports there so if your a sporting fan like myself they always feature the main event.

Great stuff, lovely location but meh accessibility

The room was good, close to the town and beach. The staff were lovely and the breakfast was very yummy. Overall fantastic.

However, when booking it said that there was wheelchair accessibility which isn’t true if you went there was an individual Wheelchair user. The wheelchair access door to reception wasn’t obvious and at any rate was locked. The majority of the car park can’t be used by a wheelchair and when we arrived at Knight it was impossible to see that there is a little bit of Matt car park close to the entrance however it isn’t marked as a wheelchair space so when they’re busy, those spaces are already taken so I could only get to reception because I’m ambulatory but most of Wheelchair users wouldn’t have been able to get to reception or park, so although in the wheelchair accessible a little bit more signage and thinking about the journey of the independent wheelchair if needed to make it actually Wheelchair accessible

Does what it says on the tin. In a great position close to Treadduar Bay. The weather was hot and the room was hotter. Paid £125 on a Sunday night and I would have thought breakfast would have been included at that price. Room was very clean and the staff were very friendly.

Doesn’t look great from the outside but the rooms were really lovely inside and were very well stocked with tea, coffee toiletries etc. location was fantastic and we had beautiful views of Trearddur bay from the top floor. It is a motel.

We were on our \"World Tour of Wales\" and this was our eighth night.
The welcome was: Warm.
The room was clean but the front wall is all window which meant that you have to close the curtains or blinds for some privacy. We were woken by the beer delivery and every other guest pulling their suitcase past our room. The hotel is in a great location for Holyhead. There is a supermarket, pub, restaurant, takeaway and a lovely sandy beach. .
We didn't have breakfast.
We stayed in ten hotels during our holiday and we rated them like the charts from 10 to 1, where 1 was the best. The prices ranged from £65 to £125. The Beech Motel was under the half way mark but came in at No. 7.
Would we return: No.
Good to know: The Supermarket provides fresh seafood.

A great little tucked away spot. Clean, not too small or crowded, comfortable beds, and a view from the window right to the ocean. We were up on the top floor and the door's access is right to the exterior staircase which is rugged but totally acceptable. The accommodation itself is wonderful, but the area is unfortunately not walkable and dining options are limited off-property.

An absolute gem of a place. Spotlessly clean and friendly service. We were late arrivals due to ferry crossing times and the hotel made it all as easy as possible for us to check in and relax. Check out (11am) is also later than some places and was especially welcome. Great full English breakfast set us up for the onward journey.
Can't fault this place at all.

Perfect chilled out weekend

We just fancied a last minute trip to anglesey.. 2 adults, 1 teenager, 1 dog.
This suited us perfectly, the place was great, lovely location, 2 min walk to the beautiful beach.

Cheap and cheerful.. room was clean and comfortable..we didnt have any food or drink at the restaurant next door as we had already eaten.

Only downside if we were being picky was it was a little noisy when people were leaving the restaurant at night (which you have to expect) and my lad said his bed wasnt the most comfortable thing hes slept on.. but he slept ok.



The double was fine. Perfect place for a quiet beach weekend.

Staff were all freindly and helpful, we will defo come again if we are in the area.

We found a really nice place to have a coffee/beer on the sea front aswell.

Cant wait for our next visit, thankyou.

We had missed our ferry out of Dublin so we had to take the last one out which would get us into Holyhead around midnight. We were originally staying in Manchester so we had a long drive yet from the port and my husband was already tired. I found this place and reserved the room. Then called the hotel to explain the situation, the gentleman couldn’t have been nicer, left the light on in our room and left the key. We woke to a beautiful view and lovely breakfast. The two ladies who helped us were lovely. I’m sorry we couldn’t stay longer.

Quite adequate for the night but no towel for 3rd Bed and no Staff when we discovered this at bedtime
Unfortunately damaged , knee slipping on beach rocks so 2nd floor steps not easy next day .

Was traveling with my elderly mother who has limited mobility and advanced COPD. She had to take stairs to the top (3rd) floor. No offer of help. That was after trying to find the motel. GPS takes you to a White House that’s maybe apartments. Tried calling multiple times to verify the location and hot no answer because the check in is also a pub.

A gem of a spot

A gem of a spot! The location is perfect as a pitstop, stayed for a night before catching the morning ferry to Dublin. Staff are very friendly, room was clean and comfortable. There's even a little sandy beach/bay a few minutes walk away, perfect spot to watch the sunset after dinner. Will stay again the next time we're sailing from Holyhead!

However, never in a month of Sundays is this a 4 star hotel. Old dilapidated building and no restaurant the night we stayed.

The small town it is located in is just beautiful and well worth a visit on a sunny day.
