The hotel is nice but far away from the city center and all the touristy places. It is by the Marmara sea and I think it would be nicer in the summer time. There is a shopping center close to the hotel with a few restaurants. Also , some eating option by the marina.

We had an amazing experience at the Hyatt Regency Ataköy and can’t recommend it enough! From the moment we arrived, the service was top-notch. A special thank you to Taylan at the front desk concierge — he made us feel welcome right away. He checked us in smoothly, spoke excellent English, and went above and beyond by arranging a massage for us, which turned out to be absolutely incredible.

The massage was one of the best we've had — incredibly relaxing and professionally done. Highly recommend booking one if you're staying here!

The buffet breakfast was another highlight. So many delicious options, fresh ingredients, and a beautifully arranged spread. If you have the time, it's definitely worth enjoying it every day during your stay.

We also loved the pool and spa area — everything was spotlessly clean, and the staff was friendly, attentive, and professional. It was the perfect spot to unwind after a day out in the city.

All in all, our stay was perfect. Thank you again to Taylan and the entire team for making it so memorable. We’ll definitely be back!

Several issues experienced:

While fast check in, overall stay hasn't been pleasant. Took 4 hours to receive toilet paper to run after several requests. Very inattentive service at the brizo hotel on several different occasions. Which is also a missed opportunity to increase sales. Had to find waitress to receive check after expressing my intention to eat app, main and dessert. Didn't get a chance to have dessert as i was annoyed. I called front desk around 1am on Sunday evening and no one picked up. All i could think was what if there were an emergency occurring and the front desk doesn't bother to even call the room back. If you're staying on a very high floor the music from the lounge is super loud but they dont warn you of that and i wasn't expecting to hear the music blaring through the walls while trying to rest at midnight.

Overall, this has been my worst experience here. I think if you plan to stay more than 5 days, the service tends to dwindle. I would not come here again. For these prices i could have stayed at the JW as this hotel isnt cheap. Even the level of service/friendliness drops which is a shame because the hotel is beautiful. Next time, i will plan a different hotel for a hopefully better overall experience.

The property was very nice overall, but the music at the pool was terrible. They played elevator music at high volume at the pool, which was extremely annoying. When a request was made to the staff to do something about the music, they just laughed and said it would be over soon because the pool was closing.

I’ve been to Istanbul many times but this time happened to randomly book Hyatt so that our stay would be a little farther from the hustle and bustle of the city. We were blown away by the hospitality and generosity of the staff, especially the manager Gozde. She went above and beyond to make sure my fiancé & I have a pleasant stay.
We loved the breakfast buffet, it exceeded our expectations. The pool, gym and VIP lounge with breathtaking views were magnificent as well. Our room view was also phenomenal. We will definitely book again. Thanks for making our stay as pleasant as it could ever be. We really appreciated the generosity especially during the timing of war.

Customer service is exceptional.

The staff were friendly & professional at all times, whatever you required they provided. The facilities are great. The one thing that stood out for my family is how peaceful the hotel is.

The one negative is being overly over charged for a jar of nuts which were not properly labelled as chargeable

It was a great stay! All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed with the various amenities and helpfulness of the various staff running and working all over & throughout the property.

For those interested in the spa, the women's section has a women's only sauna, hammam, relaxations rooms and everything you need to shower and get dressed after. The co-ed pool section has a beautiful indoor pool and loungers and we were told the outside pool is heated even during winter (if i understood correctly).

The hotel was also located next door to a nice public waterfront park. The hotel had free self parking and valet parking was 200 tl (11.2024)

The only improvement I would personally like to see would be someone opening the car &/or taxi door and helping me in and out of my car or taxi (or at least offering).

But overall it is a beautiful property and we had great service from everyone. I would like to thank everyone.

I like quality hotels and this one delivered, we had a king room with sea view and it was perfect, large and sunny for the morning. We didn’t eat at the property as it was expensive, we stayed four nights and was a really lovely Experiance. Staff wears exceptional with everything, recommend.

A staff.....cleaning staff stole jewellery from my room....and the hotel did nothing about it...though the manager promised to reach out to me....on rhe outcome of their investigation.....am yet to hear from me
The security team went through their camera and told me they saw something..but refused to share what they saw with me....they covered up whatever and whoever they saw perpetrating the evil who obviously is their member of staff

Wonderful hotel. Great staff so friendly and accommodating. The location a bit far from main areas but nice and quiet. Very easy to catch taxi to go places. Taxis are not expensive. The room was spacious and clean. The double beds are on the smaller side for 2 people. Room was cleaned everyday. The fridge doesn’t keep things cold that was the biggest disappointment.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt Regency Istanbul Ataköy Hotel in a deluxe room, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory.

Firstly, at 2:00 AM, my partner and I were abruptly awakened by a loud sound, only to find that a panel of the ceiling had suddenly opened. This unexpected event not only startled us but also raised serious concerns about the safety and maintenance standards of the hotel.

Furthermore, despite hanging the \"Do Not Disturb\" sign on our door, we were shocked to discover that room service had entered our room without consent. Our personal belongings, including our clothes, were moved around, which is a clear violation of privacy and hotel etiquette.

Overall, this experience left us deeply disappointed and concerned about the quality of service and attention to detail at the Hyatt Regency Istanbul Ataköy Hotel. I cannot recommend this establishment based on my experience and urge potential guests to reconsider their options before booking.

Absolutely wonderful hotel and service. The accommodations were amazing. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Enough space to work and internet was fast. The indoor pool and spa was a nice way to relax in the evening and the rooftop bar and restaurant had a spectacular view and delicious drinks. I would definitely return to this hotel.
