I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the reception staff made me feel very welcome. The room was spotless, including the washroom, and I loved having a small balcony that let in fresh air. Breakfast was a highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious options to suit all tastes, all served on a rooftop with a stunning waterfront view.

The location was perfect, with all the amenities and charming local cafes within walking distance—some even open 24 hours! It truly added to the convenience and charm of the stay. I can’t wait to come back to this wonderful place again. Highly recommended

The staff were okay but most of the services are not available like iron and spa etc. Constant banging throughout the day and night had to call them one night to stop!
shouldn’t be a “4 star” or any star for that matter. Should be a budget hotel

It was okay at best. The area around is designed for tourists so over priced, lower quality, dirty, VERY busy and yet everyone speaks limited English which doesn’t make sense to me. Customer service was not good, they ignore you or just pretend they don’t hear you. I won’t recommend staying here

Worst stay of my entire Life

The worst hotel ever. It claims to have 4 stars, but unfortunately, it shouldn’t have any. The personnel were extremely rude, and the condition of the hotel was awful. Everywhere was full of dust. The rooms were very tiny, so much so that you couldn’t even find space for your luggage.

I am extremely ashamed of the staff's behavior. The two women receptionists were so aggressive and fought with every customer about the hotel’s condition.

There is no customer service at this hotel.

The hotel is advertised as a 4-star, but I believe it can at most be considered a 2-star. The room was cramped and they added an extra bed for a third person, which couldn't be moved at all. It's quite an inconvenient hotel.

A compact hotel close to Taksim Square

It was a standard hotel close to amenities around Taksim Square.

Warm welcome at the reception. Room was compact and uncomfortable worn out furniture. But cleaned regularly.
Restaurant offered poor range of foods and finishes mostly by 9am even though they supposed to offer foods until 10am.

Good room service and concierge.
Overall an okeyish hotel definitely not a 4 star.

This Hotel Should Be 2 STAR HOTEL

This hotel should be 2 star Hotel not 4 star , Bathroom door handle broke , reported twice but never repaired in 8 days stay , Breakfast room on 8th.Floor ( Stairs from 7th. Floor to 8th.Floor are very very dangerous , no rails on each side , steps are very high , when coming down there is Big Bar on the floor , so if you cought to that Step Bar , you will be killed . Staff is totally unhelpful . I asked receptionist night before I left to wake me 4.00 am as my Taxi was booked for 4.30 am , Receptionist gave me Alarm Call at 4.23 am , so i had No time to get ready . Only thing was that hotel is in the center of city . BUT I ADVISE EVERYONE , DON'T STAY IN THIS HOTEL , POOR SERVICE AND DANGEROUS PLACE TO STAY AND ABOVE ALL IT'S NOT 4 STAR STANDARD HOTEL ......

Worst hotel experience ever

This hotel was advertised as a 4 star hotel which is totally misleading and false advertisement, I won’t even give it one star, it was horrible, worst hotel experience ever, the room was extremely small, totally different from the pictures in the website, it smelled bad and it was filthy, I would rather stay at a homeless shelter or even sleep in the street instead of staying at this place again

The manager of the hotel is really a nice guy but unfortunately the photos you see on these site are deceiving. The hotel is very dirty, the carpets are so dirty the smell from them are not pleasant. Had to move from the hotel second night.

I was so disappointed by the hotel.
First of all, the pictures posted on the internet don’t match the reality at all.
Second, there was no AC in the rooms and their reason was that it’s already November and they cannot turn on the AC, tho the weather outside was extremely sunny and 28! I explained to the management that this is a personal choice and they cannot oblige and impose their point of view on the customer, and that at least they should have mentioned this before reservation, so the customer knows.
Anyway, the lobby guy told me, with anger, “if you don’t like you can choose another hotel”.
I directly checked out and canceled my reservation and they didn’t accept to refund my money even tho I didn’t use the room not even 1 second.
I don’t recommend this hotel at all.

The most disgusting and creepy place imaginable.This was worse than anything I’ve ever seen!The room was tiny and stank, as did the rest of the building!dirty bathrooms, no cleaning for the rooms tv not working, internet down!Breakfast was an experience, sausages/orange juice were very cheap and not nice, I have never seen fried bread orange before little worrying!! I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel unless they’re over 80!!” i will not be there anymore and if there was refund i would go to another place! they should close for ever!

Hello,
I'm so unhappy and uncomfortable about my booking when I arrived at the hotel receptions he's so grumpy and unprofessional first had can't find my reservation then he tries to give me a single room for two people than I tell him I booked a double or triple room I show him my confirmation.
He said if I give extra money then he can give me a different room but I don't accept.
I wait a long time and chat with him, finally, he gives room but room dirty doesn't work a/c and tv too cold and dirty room.
I call him about my problems he said if I don't like I can go to a different hotel.
If my mom not sick and tired trust me I want to go somewhere. In the morning last shocked is breakfast because no bread and tea!
I want refund my money

I forgot my mobile cable and my plug and I went to other hotel. After, I arrived to the other hotel (after 1.5 hours) I phone them about. they told me that call us after 15 min. when I called them again, the answer the same. I called three times. then they told me call us tomorrow. the second, I visited them, they said we put them in the trash.

when we arrived there they told us no rooms for u and they forgot us and they wanted to give us one single room for that night and let the child sleep without bed , was very bad experienced , so we been left with one choice to change the hotel and to look for an other one in 23:00 o'clock . no one want to help us or to be kind with us .

Avoid!

The first night the front desk called and offered my friend \"two professional ladies for him to see\"...we ALL know what that means... The food was sub par, the accommodations were uncomfortable and dirty. The complimentary shampoo, lotion etc. was half empty upon arrival, they demanded our friend leave the room (he just came up for a few minutes and made no noise) or we would have to pay for an additional person to stay with us. We opted to do so, then they told us we should get him a separate room (we refused). Many staff barely speak English, so good luck with any help. The walls are thin and nonsmoking rooms stink of smoke. The only plus is the hotel is close to downtown Taksim, but we couldn't wait to get the hell out of that hotel.

Close to Taksim Square

The hotel is close to Taksim Square and Istiklal which is great (4 minutes walk). Hotel is not super clean though. Carpet full of stains inside rooms and in corridors. Some rooms are too small but that's ok if all you're looking for is a bed and shower at the end of the day. Breakfast was basic. Staff was ok considering they don't speak English.

I got my painting back!! Hooray!

I booked the small single room for my first night stay in Istanbul. However, the following day coincided with the 1st Anniversary of the protests that began in Gezi park, part of Istanbul’s Taksim Square, which became the epicenter of a nationwide violent protest... I called the hotel from London asking to cancel the room (but my booking was non-refundable). After a few emails and calls, the hotel manager allowed me to change the night instead of cancelling. That was really understanding and I really appreciated that. During my stay, although the room was super small and barely left the space to walk after I opened my (huge) luggage, I still enjoyed my time there. They have hamami where guests can use for free and their breakfast was nice. On the check-out day, I left my luggage and painting with the hotel and came back to collect them in the evening. They, unfortunately, threw my painting away (it was rolled inside a plastic bag...so they might not see how beautiful it was! lol). I insisted that the painting was really important as I painted myself. After half an hour, the staff came back with my painting!! He said he went to the trash.........and found it there. Well, this was beyond my expectation and I didn't know how to thank him enough for doing this.

시티센터 호텔 탁심 후기

시설은 노후하나 큰 불편함은 없었음.
위치가 좋고, 객실에서 밖의 뷰가 너무 좋았음.
조식 식당 좋으며, 또한 경치 조망이 매우 아름답고 훌륭함.
단 한가지 문제는 바로 옆 바에서 밤마다 매우 시끄러운 음악소리로 인해 밤에 편안한 휴식이 어려움.
소음문제는 호텔의 장점을 매우 크게 감소시킴.

Great location and affordable prices

The whole staff were really great...Especially I would like to thank Ela and Metin for their kindness.The hotel's location is great (you can reach the hotel by 3 mins walk from taksim sq or metro line and 10 minutes walk from airport shuttle bus stop) and the prices are affordable.The breakfast is open buffet and its nice.And the breakfast hall view is amazing.The rooms are clean and comfortable.But the only things i can criticise are; First of all,though the hotel is quiet,the bar across the hotel is extremely noisy until midnight ,its such a noisy music that even the good isolation on the windows cannot prevent it and if you are sensitive on noises you cant sleep early...the size of the standart room is small and the size of the bahtroom (especially the shower cabin)is really too narrow...And it can take some time to use the elevator around breakfast time because its small,busy and there is only one.I can rate my staying as 8 out of 10 but considering the affordable price of the room that minus 2 points makes no problem at all.

Det var 3 nätter. Vyn till bra . Frukost är dåligt . Det finns ett problem i avloppet som gjorde att det luktade i badrummet. I Receptionen var det en hjälplig tjej som är mångspråkig och det e det bästa i vistelse. Gymet och spa var stängda pga pandemin. Jag är tveksam att boka igen det hotellet .

Nous avons été bien reçu mais nous n'avons pas eu d'eau chaude pendant plus d'une heure en arrivant bien que le réceptionniste nous ait dit à 2 reprises dans 5 mn. La chambre était petite, la moquette pas très nette. Il y avait bien une bouilloire mais ni thé, ni café (alors pourquoi une bouilloire ?). Le matelas en revanche était très confortable et l'hotel très bien placé.

Nous étions au dernier étage juste sous le restaurant en terrasse qui passait de la musique à un volume important jusqu'à 1h00 du matin, impossible de dormir et nous devions nous lever tôt pour l'avion le lendemain, il ne nous a pas été proposé de changer de chambre. La propreté globale de l'établissement laissait à désirer et le petit déjeuner inclus est à éviter.

Het enige wat goed was, was de ligging. Al de rest is slecht afgelopen.
De kamer was niet hygienisch, er was roest en schimmel in de badkamer. Slechte wifi verbinding.
Enorm sigaret geur terwijl wij niet roken. Muffe kamers.
Heel veel lawaai van buiten en op de gang.
Deze hotel verdiend nog geen 1 ster.
