As a solo traveller i found the hotel very comfortable and safe. My room was for 1 person and consisted of a single bed, small fridge and some hooks on the wall. The bathroom was interesting. The shower head was directly above the toilet. The room was a little tired in places with peeling wallpaper etc but very clean and tidy. The bed and towels were changed 2 times.Its location was central in Bakirkoy, surrounded by plenty of shops, restaurants and 2 shopping malls. The staff were very pleasant, very helpful and over all i would stay here again.

I guess you get what you pay for
I stayed here for 7 nights while visiting family nearby. The shower did not drain well so flooded the bedroom every time I used it. The hairdryer was broken. The stopper for the door was broken. The sheets were heavily ripped and the bed very uncomfortable. The toilet seat hinge was partially broken. There was only one electrical outlet and it was taken up by a glass door mini fridge that blasted incredibly bright light - I had to unplug it to sleep. When I went to unplug it the entire outlet came of the wall. The worst thing is I would be woken up by the smell of the staff chain-smoking cigarettes in the lobby every morning and the smell definitely would flood my room at all times of day. Keep in mind the lobby is supposed to also be a cafe, and while I know indoor smoking remains unfortunately common in Istanbul, they should really reconsider hotboxing their guests bedrooms. The pros: the wifi was good (except when it was off for 2 nights during local construction); the water was easily hot; the elevator was convenient. This hotel is probably fine for those not wishing to sleep here.

It is a family-run hotel. The owners were so welcoming and friendly. Both the owners and the staff were very nice, and receptive to any request. I had all what needed for the purpose of my trip. The hotel location cannot be better at all, as the main train station is 3 minutes walking distance, the major shopping centers and mall are just across the street, and the airport shuttle stop is only 11 minutes walking distance. Bakirkoy has a lovely sea-side corniche of more than 10 km, extending from their yacht port towards Sikeje and the bridge connecting Fatih to Galata/Taksim areas, and walking there was so relaxing and amazing, with many open-air gym facilities and children playgrounds all the way. For me, Ravvda hotel was an excellent value for the money, and a super location that I would not compromise with any additional luxury for my stay in Bakirkoy.

I arrived around mid night and the reception lady was so cheerful and welcoming! Check in took one minute. The room was super small but meet the needs for one night as I had an appointment around the block at noon. I left my luggage there till late afternoon. The hotel is few minutes walk to the train station where you can go to the city center. I will come back in my next stay in Bakirkoy.

A very nice little hotel in the middle of the shopping area. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast consists of a bread basket with jams, cheese, sliced ham , olives and figs. Their coffee is excellent! The smallest room has everything you need except that it is close to the elevator and you can hear other people in the hallway.

The owners/staff here were extremely friendly and helpful and even gave me their Kart card to use while I was there.
Only downside for me was the size of the room, but if you're not fussy about such things then you'll love be able to come and go very easily.
Add the breakfast option because it is fantastic (they make a good coffee too) and will set you up for a good day.

After checking in I was shocked with level of dirty stuff in the room. I arrived in the evening after long flight and no way to look for another option.
Everything in the room is off-white color including the towels and bedding. Not only that but also with disgusting stains from all colors. This forced me to sleep without bed cover and to keep my N95 face mask on.
The room is very small and literally like a grove (2x2 m).
The shower located above the toilet seat and you have to open your legs so you don't touch it while showering. The sink is full with dirt.
This level of poor cleaning and disinfectant measures is unacceptable specially during this ongoing devastating epidemic, and this give answer on why we are not able to control yet.

The hotel has good location and close to Marmaray line. But it has issues with maintenance and the staff were smoking in the lobby and talking loudly all night. The smoke from the lobby makes its way to tye rooms. No staff member had a mask on. They were very helpful if we needed something, but there issue is management and discipline. I dont think i would stay there again.

Täuschung statt Hotelkomfort – nie wieder Ravvda Hotel Bakırköy
Wir waren zweimal in diesem Hotel – vom 30.06. bis 02.07. und nochmals vom 17.07. bis 21.07.. Der zweite Aufenthalt war bereits vor dem ersten gebucht – sonst wären wir sicher nicht zurückgekommen.
Schon beim ersten Aufenthalt war der Zustand ernüchternd: Urinspuren auf dem WC, Haare im Bad, alte, fleckige Handtücher – und das WC selbst war nicht fest mit dem Boden verbunden. Statt fachgerecht zu reparieren, hatte man eine Kaffeetasse zwischen Toilettenfuß und Boden geklemmt, um das Ganze irgendwie zu stützen. Ein absolut untragbarer Zustand.
Beim zweiten Aufenthalt baten wir ausdrücklich um frische Bettwäsche. Stattdessen wurde das Bett einfach glattgezogen und mit einer dekorativen Tagesdecke samt Zierkissen abgedeckt – eine offensichtliche Täuschung. Der Zustand darunter war unverändert. Diese bewusste Irreführung hat uns am meisten geärgert. Es ist schlicht unverschämt, Gästen derart etwas vormachen zu wollen.
Das Frühstück war minimalistisch, serviert auf einem Tablett in der Lobby. Im ganzen Gebäude lag zudem dauerhaft Zigarettengeruch, da das Personal direkt vor dem Eingang rauchte.
Fazit: Für denselben Preis hätten wir im Mercure Hotel deutlich bessere Standards gehabt. Dieses Hotel lebt nur vom Schein – und enttäuscht auf ganzer Linie.

I stayed at this hotel for two weeks and I can't complain about anything! Everyone was super nice and helpful and I always enjoyed talking to the staff. The beds are comfortable and everything is super clean. Sometimes you might hear your next door neighbor a little but over all i personally didn't really care about it. Wifi worked well and the breakfast was good as well! Thank you my dearest Ravvda-Team, I can definitely recommend this hotel.

Cevre puani düşük çünkü geri dönusum kovalarini heralde denetimden denetime kullanima aliyorlar arka tarafta topanmisti kullanimda degildi ve sular foşur foşur akiyordu lavabo dus klozette herhangi bir duzenleme yapilmamis. Fakat resepsiyon deskindeki genc arkadasim cok kibar ve saygiliydi. Aski rica ettim geldigimde hazir edilmisti. Klima sicak su tvde hic sorun yasamadim. Kanallar hepsi vardi.
