Although the room was clean the bathroom floor was slippery even in bare feet. The mattresses were not comfortable at all. Breakfast the next morning was sub par and overly expensive. The second night was awful. There was a storm and the hotel lost power, but only partial. One elevator out of three worked and some rooms had power, no wifi at all. Although this was due to natural causes which is understandable we needed electricity for our cpap machines. The hotel staff gladly changed our room to one with power but it was still an inconvenience packing and moving again. The next morning the hotel was still without power and still only one elevator working. Upon checkout we asked what kind of refund we would be getting and were told none, we would be getting Bonvoy points. As my husband and I don’t travel that much, due to health issues, money would be appreciated more than points.

The staff very helpful. It was a family vacation staying for three nights and requesting three separate rooms. Though there was a convention with many people staying at the hotel, the front desk staff was able to accommodate my family and switch the rooms to have us all on the same floor. The rooms were very clean and beds were pretty comfortable. The food at the restaurant in the hotel was good, reasonable prices. The staff was very friendly and helpful with providing information for nearby restaurants and stores in the area around Sesame Place. We would definitely stay again.

We appreciated the excellent front desk staff and the upgrade to a first floor suite; however, the “bedroom” of the suite was right above the swimming pool, where kids, teens, and adults were creating a lot of noise all the way past 10 PM. It was extremely difficult to get any sleep, and especially troublesome for our tired toddler after a long day. The hotel needs to enforce better time rules in regards to evening hours for pool usage. Everything else was fine.

So when I tried booking though Sheraton itself, it was a nightmare. Not one of the customer service staff could not offer me the special rate that the company sponsoring the class I attended. I had to go through Expedia just to secure a room for the dates I needed. Even I checked in, the manager says he couldn't extend the special rate because I went through Expedia. There was no bar because supposedly the new owners did not apply for the alcohol license in time when they bought the establishment. No complimentary breakfast, not even muffins. Very disappointed with Sheraton

I stayed at a lot of hotels recently (traveling a lot). This was the most pleasing. I had 4 autistic kids with me and no other adult and the staff was very nice. Helpful etc.

Most importantly it was clean unlike some other recent (luxury) hotels I’ve stayed in. They put a clean oversized sheet under and over the comfortable which gives you a peace of mind if the comforter isn’t washed daily (most hotels). Very nice

The hot tub was completely empty with no warning signs or barriers around it, which felt like a serious safety hazard—someone could easily have fallen in. When I asked the front desk about it, I was told it had been out of service for at least three months, which makes it even more concerning that nothing has been done to secure or clearly mark the area.
The walls are extremely thin, so noise travels easily and makes it hard to relax. On top of that, the shower felt unstable—standing in it honestly made it seem like the floor might give way.
Overall, this stay was disappointing, and the lack of maintenance and attention to safety is a major issue.

So, 1st off the staff was extremely helpful and very nice. We got conjoined rooms and there was a bit of a mix up on what i order and i could not get the accommodation I ordered, nor could i get a refund for it (the room i wanted was pricier) because i ordered it from hotel.com, so the Sheraton gave me and my family (6 of us) free breakfast for our stay, which was more than the refund would have been. They didnt hesitate to make up for it. The hotel itself was fine, some people complained about it being outdated, but it really was not bad at all. The pool rool was a bit cold, so the little ones didn't use the pool much because it was too cold, but it was clean and maybe in the summer would have been better. We were very disappointed that the hot tub was not filled (we called before our trip and we were told it was up and running), so that was a bummer. We also called to see if sesame place was in walking distance and we were told it was... so the catch is, it is very close, BUT you have to basically walk down a highway to get to it...and there are no side walks for most of the walk. We had 2 toddlers in strollers, so we weren't going to do that, so we had to pay 35 bucks to park at sesame place each day. Maybe if your kids were a little older, you could probably make it work. The breakfast at the Sheraton, university grille, was pretty good, not amazing, but good and convenient, plus they give you a good portion.
All in all, I'd stay there again, especially for the price!

Staff is always professional. Used to be our go-to hotel whenever coming back to town, but has gone downhill some in the past few years. There has been broken or missing shampoo bottles and lack of enough towels at times. Always tough to find a parking spot in the evening as well.

Hotel looked nice when we arrived. Little inconveniences started adding up.....refrigeration cases in the shop didn't work so all beverages were warm, no ice machines at hotel, our room key had to be reprogrammed multiple times a day (after the 3rd day we mentioned to the front desk - and yes we made sure not to do anything to mess with the magnetize - they said they would send someone to fix and never did, our windows were permanently frosted, our room felt damp, no drinks at the bar and fountain soda was flat.... the hotel is definitely showing it's age.

Expected more from Sheraton/Marriott.

The pool was nice they need to get the hot tub up and running and the heater for the pool working. Great location close to Trenton cure arena was there for my grandsons wrestling tournament.

Internet is average speed, rooms are not cleaned unless asked to be cleaned which is a bit disconcerting. The bed I had (king size) was very uncomfortable, no support, just laying on the frame, worn out, etc. Shower water has/had a very weak stream, could barely rinse the soap off, not worthy at all. There aren't any ice machines on the property, so, you have to go to the front desk to where they sell over-priced snacks and retrieve a 3lb bag of ice (if they have it available), on two of the three nights ice was not available. Also, they have a nice lounge, but no liquor license, so, no night caps, etc., to take advantage of the lounge. The site itself is in a great location, which is why I have chosen this place a few times. It's just okay, but it could be so much better, and it was, when it was the Royce Hotel, several years back. Okay, gotta go, time for Ibuprofen for my sore back from the three stooges bed accommodations.....

There were warm chocolate chip cookies when we arrived. The facility was clean but we smelled it when people indulged in smoking pot which we didn’t like. Smelled it in hall and elevator. Smoke free should include pot I would think. We were disappointed that the menu for the restaurant online was nothing like the menu in real life, which had a pub like faire and not the variety seen online. The chef was accommodating and made me some risotto which was good. If you’re looking forward to enjoying a cocktail in front of the beautiful fireplace shown in the image on line, put that thought out of your mind. The fireplace did not work (we were told it needed to be cleaned) and the restaurant does not have a liquor license (it’s a work in progress we were told). (Then again if you’re a guest who enjoys pot, you can enjoy the cookies and may not even notice if the fireplace is not on lol) The outlets were located in odd spots (under end tables). Water pressure was not great. The location was good if you want to go to Sesame Place with the kids. The fitness center was the best one I have seen at a hotel. Quality machines (several for a full body work out and weights) and treadmills. There was a heated pool too. Overall it was an ok place to stay, just make dinner plans elsewhere and bring your own wine. Bed was comfortable and the pillows were mushy like I like them.

The room was okay, it was clean. There was water leaking near a light for a few minutes, the TV had a black line through it. The stopper in the tub and sink were lose, so when I took a shower they water filled the bottom of the tub. They were advertising a breakfast buffet but they didn't have it. I paid for a King room and once I showed up, they didn't have any King rooms available.

I know it is the offseason but I still paid money for the stay. The pool was locked and we had to find a staff member to unlock the door because they just did not think anyone would want to use it. No dirty towels were removed from the pool area in quite some time and there were two fresh towels one of which had a hole the size of my fist in it. The restaurant which we paid additional money for a buffet breakfast was not at all what was advertised. The buffet was empty and we were told we could select one of three ala carte menu items. We could not have anything else without paying more. Then the service was terrible almost non-existent but because we had "waitstaff" you feel weird about not tipping something so another added cost onto my experience. The food was less than desirable, poorly cooked eggs, overcooked meat product and "hashbrowns" which were just frozen diced potatoes. This was the first two days and on the third day we were told that we had only one breakfast choice and that we were never supposed to have choices. The front desk manager then got into an argument with the waitstaff who refused to even provide the service we had the previous two days. Finally upon being directed specifically to get our order made the waitstaff rolled their eyes and said not until there is a manager so we just left as we had a 5 hour drive home. We travel 5 hours to enjoy Sesame Place and this hotel is bad. We tried it but never again back to Springhill Suites our usually choice

We were in a “Dis” room, as the desk clerk called it, and it may not have been occupied in a while. The bathroom sink dripped and the bottle of hair conditioner in the shower had fallen off the wall into the tub. I told the front desk when I checked out that the sink faucet was leaking.
The hotel was low occupied so they didn’t have the advertised buffet breakfast. The night desk clerk incorrectly told us it was it would be available. Even still, we had breakfast at the restaurant and it was ok.

We asked for soap they didn’t have it we asked for razors. They didn’t have it. We asked for conditioner they didn’t bring it. We asked for a disposable toothbrush they didn’t have it. The room is pictured much bigger than what it is in person. They don’t have a liquor license.The restaurant was closed. Breakfast was $18 a person and had nothing ice machine didn’t work. From the outside, the hotel looks great. From the inside, it was a basic hotel. The walls, closets, and tub had chips and cracks. There was no microwave, and no buffet breakfast that was advertised. On a positive note, i was impressed with the back lit mirror, the nice king size bed, and the well up kept carpeting. Also, the staff was very pleasant. I was disappointed that a Sheraton hotel was just ok.

We arrived to a non working refrigerator in our room. Our heater made clunking noises every time it turned on and off. Made for a very restless sleeping situation. A Room Service Attendant came to our room to say she’d be back in 30 minutes to freshen up our room. We left for several hours and upon arriving back to our room, it had still not been cleaned. She again showed up around 5 pm and we told her not to bother. We expected a better experience with Sheraton.

My door ended up, not unlocking with the key card. Based on my conversations with maintenance and other staff, it seems that they don’t have the adequate tools to keep the place running under current ownership. The very next morning I woke up to maintenance using making a lot of noise, which at first I was upset about, but it turns out another person’s door no longer worked, and they didn’t have the appropriate tools to program it. I would stay away from this place for a while until they figure out how to manage it, because your stuff could get locked in your room for a good amount of time.

Also, then they moved me into a new room and they finally got into my old room, but this one had drainage issues in the bathroom. So two out of three days of my stay had some serious and minor inconveniences.

The staff was very friendly and worked very hard to try to resolve the issues. However, it doesn’t seem like management gives them the resources they need to get the job done.

I messaged the hotel through the Hotels.com app to let them know I’d be arriving around 3 AM. My flight was canceled, and I had to drive from Georgia overnight because I’m here to photograph a wedding — it was already an exhausting and stressful day.

When I arrived, the front desk agent told me I was marked as a “no-show” and that the hotel doesn’t receive the messages guests send through Hotels.com. The app never says guests must call, so I had no way of knowing. After a long overnight drive, the lack of empathy was disappointing.

Even after I showed her the message, she made me wait to see if I could still get the room I paid for. She then charged an unexpected $250 deposit simply because I arrived after 3 AM — a policy I’ve never encountered at any Marriott property and one that was not listed anywhere on Hotels.com.

For a three-night stay costing $584 at a run-down property, the entire check-in experience made an already difficult travel situation even harder. Clear communication and basic kindness would have gone a long way.

Overall an okay place. Room was clean but there was visible damage and rust in the bathtub. The bar server was wonderful but the bat was under stocked and ran out of almost everything on the menu by the time we arrived. It wasn’t what I expected from a Sheraton.
