the room i booked wasn’t available when i got to the property due to “over booking”. I had to stay in a different room. The room had a very bad cigarette stench to it. The shower floor was disgusting, looks like it was rotting away. I was not comfortable to take a shower. There was no amenities such as a toothbrush or toothpaste. There was also residue of something left on the table in the room.

We ended up not staying and asking for our money back. There were several issues including but not limited to: bugs in the beds, the furniture was held together with duct tape, the room was dirty and dusty, and there was a smell that triggered my daughter’s asthma. I could not in good conscience recommend anyone stay in this establishment. When we complained at the front desk they said they could give us an upgraded room…we declined and asked for our money back because we were not going to stay there.

Check in was easy. That's the only good thing I can say about this place. The parking lot was sketchy. The room smelled awful. The bed was lumpy. The sink didn't drain. The tub was filthy. The curtain was broken. There were stains on the walls, along with a bug that took 3 tries to kill.

Absolutely horrible and disgusting!!!!!!!!!Rooms are alllll dirty and people there are tweaking out on all types of drugs. Dogs running around off leash, cats living there, mattresses piled up by dumpster,
Cigarette holes on tables dirty tubs, dirty bedding- BED BUGS!!!!! No remote, dirty fridge, wall fallen apart. My dog got attacked while I was walking her!!!!!

Nothing was available in the area when I booked here for two days- I ended up leaving after the first night. NEVER WOULD STAY HERE AGAIN

Good News: NO BEDBUGS, COPIOUS AMOUNTS of HOT WATER for Showering & Hygiene;
BAD News: Found a single, young roach skittering across the floor from rug area around the bed towards the main dresser/furniture. Heavy pall of toxic-smelling heavy chemical cleaning agents was definitely off-putting. Obviously, prior smoking guests have ignored NO SMOKING (cigarettes/whatever) or Any other politely worded signs. On the Plus side, staff DID honor a special request for a Floor 1 room assignment. Not the cutest intro to RED ROOF INN, but we + pet did successfully get 7 hrs sleep before hitting the road again. Mission Accomplished. :)

Reckless staff , room was smelling bad, the bath was horrible, the towels were old and smell very bad, the bath tube was dirty, and I can’t call this property hotel!! Even not motel, there are people who are living in this property, and kids are all around playing with ball, and bicycle!! And making noise!! But the worst thing is that police cars are there constantly , and the day of check out I could not leave since I had to wait for police cars who arrested one of the residents with his car at the exit!!!

I booked this hotel for my parents, aunt, and uncle for a one-night stay while they were traveling to NYC. Upon checking in, one of the rooms had no electricity. The front desk staff informed them that the power was out due to a city generator shutdown. They waited for two hours, but the issue was not resolved.

I called the hotel and spoke with the front desk lady, who told me they could only refund one room since the outage wasn’t their fault and there was nothing wrong on their end. Before I could respond, she said she had to assist other customers and abruptly hung up on me.

Thankfully, the Expedia customer service agent was very helpful. We were able to book another room at a different hotel for the night and received a full refund for both rooms.

This place is a true dump. It looks like the sort of place that rents out by the hour. It was filthy and run down. There was black mold in both of the bathtubs (we had our son with us so we got 2 rooms). There was a problem with the generator so there was no air conditioning in one of the rooms. We ended up leaving and driving hours to get home at 11 PM at night. We’re now trying to get a refund.

It’s going to be hard to trust Expedia after this experience

We stayed here for several days in June. Our pets could stay too! The hotel is dated, but its CLEAN. It didnt have any weird stains in the linnens, and the room didnt have any odd smells. Our AC kept the room cold. Even though there are people who's primary residence is their room here, it remained quiet all day and night.

Best part- NO bedbugs or roaches!!

WARNING!!! If you value safety, please DO NOT secure a reservation with this particular Red Roof. Despite the favorable reviews, what I encountered was less than favorable.

First, one is not able to access the lobby to check-in, that had to be done through a security window [red flag #1]; second, when I learned I was on the 2nd floor, I asked if I could have a first level room and the response was, \"not one that is very nice\" [red flag #2]; third, when driving around the parking lot, there were people everywhere, roaming about and this was close to 10p [red flag #3]; fourth, upon driving to my room, it was evident that people were actually living in these rooms as opposed to just securing them for a night or two [red flag #4]; fifth, upon entry into the room, the back side of the door was peppered with dents and dings, almost as though it was evidence as someone trying to get out [red flag #5]; six, when I was in the room looking around, there was so much commotion going on outside that I was quickly becoming more and more uncomfortable [more red flags].

I called Hotels.com to share with them my safety concerns and that I did not want to stay and they encouraged me to go back down to the lobby so, on my way back to the lobby, I ran into people barely clothed, a people in bathrobes and a lot of people just loitering everywhere. It clearly was not a good situation, I was unable to cancel my reservation so, I chose to leave without refund. Go elsewhere!

I had to wait 30 min past check in due to not having any clean rooms. There was dirty long term tenants sitting out front their rooms everywhere. The room smelled disgusting like paint, cigarettes, & grime despite being a smoke-free room. We didn’t even shower. We paid way too much for these rooms. Should have been $50 a night. Not going to stay at Red Roof ever again.

The floors were filthy. Rugs looked like someone had been sick. It smelled like an ashtray. I didn't take pictures but I should have. We stayed in room 106.

Tub was dirty, floor was dirty, guests next door were living year-round and kids were noisy, ice machine was broken, ice all over the floor, tried to request and early check in, could not get through to the front desk. When I arrived the front desk person had no customer service skills. He said an early check in was not possible. When I told him that I just drove 2 hours and that I was diabetic and would like to use the bathroom he said No, I would have to find the local WAWA and use there's. There was no hair dryer or iron and ironing board in the room. The tub was discolored with dirt. The exterior grass was mostly mud. Too many bad things top list. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend that anyone stay here!!!

run down, low class place.

Got the Key -- room with hot tub was really 2 rooms. Told me it was 160 (actually was 158 nad 160)Key only worked on 158.
Door to 158 was missing part of security latch
Room was missing lightbuldb and shade in sconce
Light above desk in 160 was missing.
Button to hottub was missing -- had to reach in and press (in wet hole) the rubber covered switch (danferous if rubber had a hole.
Looked like essntially abandonded vehivle in lot (van up in jack and FULL of junk.
While walking to lobby noticed a room with signin window \"Candy Cutie\" somehow I don't believe she was selling m&m's

I’ve stayed here different times and they have the bare necessities. No bed bugs or anything at least. I didn’t take it for a motel when I first stayed so I was wide eyed & naive. I did notice a lot of “shady” type of people. Now it seems to be a group of “long stay” people who get together like they did for Halloween outside the little grass knoll for sitting & walking. I have a small dog so I walk different times & head to my events so I see a lot. Staff is small to nonexistent so don’t come too looking for Hilton stay. It gets the job done but I have had to change rooms on 2 different stays b/c either the light or something was not working or old and or smelled like strong smoke which im allergic to. I see people who stand right outside the front of their room & smoke w their doors open so think how the air drags to the room.

This place is horrible. Opened up the fridge to a roach, clogged toilet, not to mention a bag of needles on the counter the last guest left for me. Went to the desk to ask for a plunger and they didn't have one or have a maintenance man to unclog it so had to go without a toilet for a day. They did however hand me glue traps for the roaches that was a plus.

For starters the property was in horrible co ditions. Trash everywhere, the room had the horrible smell of tabacco, the sheets werent clean nor did they change them it had dog hair and human hair. The bathroom was not swept at all the bath tub was peeling and the caulk around the bath tub was missing and it had chunks of mold.
The whole aspect of the hotel was in horrible condition would not reccomend at all.
