Republica Hotel is located on one of the oldest and central streets of Yerevan, - on Amiryan Street (a short walk from the Republic Square). Despite the busy area of the downtown, we are well isolated from the street noise to create relaxed and quiet atmosphere for our guests.

The design of our boutique hotel is done with interesting solutions that combine the old and the new, featuring curious collages of Armenian ancient carpets kindly provided by our partner Megerian Carpets, as well as distinctive details of our very own capital city Yerevan. From the windows of our 10 story hotel you will experience the beautiful views of the monumental Republic Square and the Biblical Mount Ararat.

I had a fantastic stay at the Republica Hotel in Yerevan. The hotel is exceptionally clean and well maintained, which made the whole experience very comfortable and relaxing. The rooms and common areas were spotless, and everything felt fresh and organized.

What really made the stay special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. Their hospitality made us feel truly taken care of.

The location is also great, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, a wonderful hotel with great service, cleanliness, and a warm atmosphere. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Yerevan.

This is a boutique hotel where I felt treated like a friend. They run out to collect your bags, offer you the upgrade you deserve. The rooms on both bookings were spacious & light.
Breakfast was really special for a smaller establishment. To offer cooked eggs for breakfast was just special. Svetlana, Artushan and other looked after my every request. As a mature age solo traveller it was great to stay at such a welcoming hotel. When I came back from my overnight trip away to Goris, they welcomed me back & settled me quickly into my room. I was tired and they gave me a welcoming drink. I’d highly recommend this hotel!

This is a lovely hotel. Well located close to Republica Square & 15-20min walk from The Cascades. My upgraded room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. I found the staff went, “above & beyond their normal duties” to help me with my every need. Svetlana & her male colleague were especially thoughtful.
The breakfast was excellent and to offer eggs cooked to your needs, is a pleasure to see.
I did feel amenities such as a shower cap (each day), a vanity set, a toothbrush & a bathrobe would have been a benefit. I appreciated the upgrade & VIP Access perk re 20% off one restaurant meal. I would recommend this venue to my friends.

Great staff and modern clean room and facilities. The air conditioning system in the building works but is not “cold”- it just gets the job done. Our first room, even after waiting 2+ hours never cooled off and was unbearably warm. The hotel staff were super helpful and understanding and did the best they could which was to give us another room which was much better and manageable but still not “very cool” - it was just at the level of ok considering the very hot weather.
The staff were excellent and accommodating with recommendations and reservations.
One thing to note is that only black coffee was included in the breakfast- lattes were only served for an additional fee which was kind of surprising for a 4 star hotel.

I spent the first two and the final night of my stay in Armenia at this property. The staff were charming and extremely accommodating. The hotel is very conveniently located. The rooms are sparkling clean and nicely quiet, offering a great rest after a busy day out. I particularly enjoyed the breakfast buffet, and my only regret is that I missed it on my last day taking the red eye flight out.

Discover Yerevan from a great home base hotel

Small boutique hotel with about seven rooms on each of about six floors. Room was small with a large queen size bed but well arranged and very functional. Large bathroom with good lighting. Nice breakfast buffet with varying items each day. Very friendly, helpful and professional staff from housekeeping to dining to front desk. Most spoke at least some English so communication was never an issue. Was able to arrange transportation through hotel for pick-up from airport which was very good (and recommended) as we arrived in Armenia in the middle of the night. Hotel well situated in great part of Yerevan near Republic Square and many restaurants and shops. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the beautiful and up and coming city of Yerevan. Always felt safe near hotel (and walking around Yerevan more generally).

I really liked this hotel. The location is great -close to Republic Square. There is a grocery store and an ATM on this block. The breakfast was fantastic. I will definitely be staying here again the next time I am in Yerevan.
Note regarding refrigerator - there is one in the room, but it is completely full of mini bar items. There is no place to refrigerate your own items, if that is something that you are looking for.

Rooms much smaller than expected with no working air conditioner, so it gets very hot and airless, some of the windows looking out to a rundown inner yard, mediocre breakfast. Extremely nice and helpful personnel and good location do make up for some inconveniences, but overall not the luxary experience you’d expect given the price range, more of a budget hotel so doesn’t feel like value for money unfortunately.

Thank you for the perfect stay in Yerevan.

We had an amazing time at Republica hotel. Clean, perfectly located in the centre yet quiet, with super helpful and professional staff attending to our needs round the clock, delicious and varied breakfast. Wifi was strong, I could open the window to avoid using AC in the room. Highly recommend this wonderful place, and thank you all the staff there.

Wonderful Stay

Republica Hotel was wonderful. Service comparable to the Ritz-Carlton. Staff was very attentive, professional and anticipated my needs. Breakfast changed daily and was best I’ve had in Armenia. Erik from breakfast and Lilit from Front Desk were exceptional. Centrally located in Yerevan by the Republic Square. Only con is rooms are on the smaller side which was fine for single traveler but will be tight for 2 people with luggages.

EXCELLENT HOTEL, A LITERAL GEM

What a gem of a hotel. I am extremely picky when it comes to choosing hotels and this hotel was literally 10 out of 10. Excellent location, clean rooms, great customer service from cleaning ladies to the reception desk. Special thanks to Ruzanna who always greeted you with a smile at breakfast and such a pleasant person to interact with. Breakfast was exceptional, fresh pastries were to die for, and the staff was ready to assist you with anything you needed. Rooms were clean, housekeeping ladies were so nice you wanted to hug every single one of them. We were treated like family, always with a smile and ready to assist. Definitely recommended.

The property misrepresented the features and accommodations of the room. When connected for an upgrade via Expedia I was informed that they can’t update and only is I paid extra for which i did because what was originally assigned was unacceptable. For the future, I wouldn’t be using this hotel or recommending to anyone. I’m questioning if I would using Expedia in the future for not insisting on not to process for additional charge for the upgrade, just poor customer service all around.

Horrible! WAY too expensive for what it actually is. We only stayed one night and moved to another hotel. Don’t be fooled by the photos that make the rooms look grand. The ‘superior’ room was so small that we couldn’t unpack anything. There was no closet space at all. The corners of the shower area were really dirty. It felt like a cheap motel. We couldn’t imagine staying there for 2 weeks. The hotel itself was very lack luster with tiny hallways and lobby area. The staff seemed angry that we were leaving. Expedia’s customer service was wonderful though. They quickly moved us to the hotel we decided on. Very accommodating and reliable.

Very nice boutique hotel with more personality than the nearby Marriott. Everywhere was within walking condition. Rooms were nice, as was the hotel bar in the courtyard. Would recommend.

Republica is tops for me in Yerevan center.

In Yerevan on business for a couple of weeks, I fled the gorgeous but overpriced Marriott in Republic Square, and moved a couple of blocks down the street to the Republica. What a contrast! Starting at the reception desk. Marriott: Snooty, cold, and totally uncooperative, despite my Gold Elite status. Republica: Welcoming, warm, and accommodating. Marriott restaurant: food & service mediocre to poor. Republica: food & service excellent. Marriott room: big but shabby & outdated. Republica room: beautiful, quiet, well-designed, great bathroom. Marriott wifi: spotty. Republica wifi: much faster and reliable (essential for my work). Housekeeping: superb at both. Republica has an excellent new building and an even more excellent management and staff. A muc h better value for the money.

Great base for Armenian wine touring.

Hotel Republica in Yerevan, Armenia was our six day home, as we ventured out on day trips from there. An excellent choice as the hotel was well located, modern and clean and the staff and breakfast exceptional. It was the only place we encountered in Armenia where the staff consistently wore masks. We toured both the Arat and Noy distilleries with our favorite being Noy, partially because of Arat’s large group tours and tastings of unmasked travelers. An evening wine and food pairing at In Vino cafe, walking distance to the hotel, was superb. The food and staff at the highly recommended Sherep restaurant were a disappointment with hostess, cooks and waiters wearing masks on their chins (or not at all) and high priced unexceptional food. We enjoyed our best food, atmosphere, service and prices in Yerevan at the smaller, less assuming, Armenian National Tavern.
