Pricey but top notch

Only there 1 night but we were impressed with the quality of this hotel, surpassing already high expectations. We had dinner in the restaurant as well and the food was quite good. Definitely on the pricier side so we were happy to catch a night that was more reasonably priced.

The Yerevan Tufenyan offers an excellent experience. There is a wonderful balance of Armenian culture with a strong balance of providing outstanding service. The hotel is very clean. The frknt desk manager and staff are very helpful and the food is delicious. The bar is open 24 hkurs so no matter what time you arrive or leave you can get you fa krite be eage including some of the most delicious coffee. It is also very beautifully licated. It is definitely a must experience.

Very good option to stay in Erevan

Very good location, very spacious room. Some staff was friendly. The only down sides were the lobby it's a little outdated and from our room the only view we had was a big contruction right in front of us.

This Hotel is conveniently located to the Vernisage-a very popular shopping for tourists. It is also conveniently located near Republic Square and restaurants in Yerevan. There is an ATM machine attached to the Hotel as well as a bank next door. The staff could not be nicer. I have gone to different hotels for my last 3 trips but I will return to the Tukfenkian Hotel on my next trip.

We loved staying here. The hotel is elegant, very comfortable, with very helpful staff and in an excellent location. This was my first trip to Armenia and I wanted to stay somewhere with an authentic feel, great location and wonderful benefits all at a great price. I would definitely stay here again. The housekeeping staff did a phenomenal job. The rooms and beds were very comfortable. The provides soaps, shampoos and conditioner were excellent. My only regrets were not trying the hotel breakfast and having to leave at the end of my stay. Although they is construction nearby, we did not hear it in our room, and we also never heard any other guests noise. It was very quiet and peaceful. I also loved the Ardean gallery tucked inside and the Tufenkian rug weavers on the first floor. Vernissage outdoor market is a few feet away from the front door and you can quickly walk to many wonderful nearby attractions and places to eat. It is very close to Republic Square and the fountains. I highly recommend staying here!!

Great Stay

I was concerned about my stay based on recent reviews about construction noise, but this turned out not to be a problem at all. I asked for a room away from the construction and my room was extremely quiet. The room was large and had a nice bathroom with excellent toiletries. Breakfast was very good with lots of fresh fruit, and the service was friendly. The location is great and in a very safe neighborhood. It is right next to the craft market and a quick walk to republic square. I would definitely stay here again.

I liked the hotel and enjoyed the stay. My only complaint was that I reserved here because it said there was free self-parking and I needed to park my car somewhere safe. I thought this was a hotel lot. The free self-parking is out in the street if you find a space. I informed the reception that this should not be stated as a feature of the hotel because they are not providing it.

Nice city, ruined by scammers and beggars

The hotel is what you see when booking, so no significant surprises with anything in particular. The staff are not exactly friendly, but are functional only. The exception is a young lady, Eleanora, on reception, she is very helpful.

As far as a trip to Yerevan goes, believe everything you read, “there are more sharks there than in all the oceans of the world”. The scamming starts the second you reach the arrival hall “taxi, taxi, taxi”, if you are fooled into getting one, even the one who shows you the meter, be prepared to pay 10 times the rate. Top tip, contact the hotel and ask them to get a taxi pick up at EVN, you will thank me!!!!

The staff is amazing! They almost bent backwards to help me with my requests with parking, scales, etc.
The hotel location is great. The room was cleaned daily and cleaned well. The interior style also helps to form great memories!
There seems to be a regional problem with hot water temperature - one just has to rely on surgical precision to find the right balance between the cold and the hot water and on secret spells to make sure that balance holds. The room temperature control also seems to have a soul and mind of its own: I couldn’t get the darn thing below 22C - opening the window helps for the cool air to get in, but it would unfortunately also bring some notes of smoke as well.
Net-net, I’d definitely consider this hotel for my next stay. And a special thanks to the staff!

This was our second stay at the Tufenkian in Yerevan.Loved it the first time. Enjoyed it even more the second time. Great value. The best breakfast ever. Across the street from the Vernissage and easily walkable to everything Yerevan has to offer. An added bonus for us as we are both runners, it is right off the circular park, the best place in Yerevan to run before the Tufenkian's awesome breakfast! Looking forward to staying again.

This was my second stay at the Tufenkian. Ideally situated right off Yerevan's Republic Square, I found it relaxing, clean and friendly. Unlike many places I've stayed, the bathroom was wonderful and I had no problems with the shower or hot water. I was thrilled to discover the hotel's intimate little piano bar. And the breakfast food was fresh and delicious.

Common services should be improved.
Airport transportation should be peovided free or at least with acceptable rate compared to business taxi rate in Armenia.
Also when a guest request to change a room they should provide it specially if guest is staying for over a week.
Late checkout should be provided too.

Lovely hotel in the center of Yerevan. Very friendly staff and wonderful breakfast. Swimming pool is nice and chilling but it not so big. However, there is a huge table by the pool area that few people sit and smoke there makes it uncomfortable for many guest to enjoy the pool. Please remove that big table and replace it with 2 Or 3 smaller tables for the sake of others to enjoy that pool cozy area!

Отель в целом не плохой, но есть такие недочёты, как не работающий кондиционер и забитые раковины. Завтрак так себе, лучше пойти прогуляться в кафешке на районе , т.к у отеля удобное расположение и вокруг много всего.
