The room was very large and clean, with a good and clean bathroom. Toiletries ample were provided.
There was a room safe, fridge, hairdryer and TV.
The only possible criticism of the room would be that it was a bit dated in terms of the décor.
The breakfast catered for a variety of diets including vegetarian and halal.
The hotel is centrally located.

The room was very nice and big but not cool enough. One room was cooler than the other one and when we addressed there were nothing they could have done since it was A/C max, they gave us a fan which helped. Also, there were no dresser or drawer there and we kept our clothing in the luggage for 2 weeks. They only had the one that you can hang but no drawers. Other than that all was ok and very kind and caring staff. Breakfast was great too.

The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The laundry service took two days, which I am not happy about it. The Internet connection was slower than I use to have. However the price was much reasonable than other offers in the same area of the city.

My parents had an amazing stay at this hotel! The rooms were clean and well-maintained, which made for a very comfortable experience. The bed was cozy, and all the amenities were in good condition. It was my first visit to Armenia, besides the fact that it’s a beautiful place, the Armenian hospitality is unique and you see it at this hotel. The staff was polite, the areas and rooms were clean, the cleaning ladies were patient and always working, they won’t knock to advise you it’s cleaning time, they will wait for you to leave your room before cleaning up. They greet you everytime they see you. The restaurant at this hotel had plenty of fresh fruits and all sorts of options daily, it’s hard to not find what your looking for. I’m always on time and I respect the indicated hours of service, so when they say 10am or 10:30am(weekends) end of breakfast I expect them to stop serving food, but here comes the Armenian hospitality, the chef and staff welcome you in even when your late, I saw this happen (not with me) with other guests and they made sure that even late they had options for food. I’m certain that this was appreciated by those guests. Great hotel, I will stay here again.

Отель с одной стороны хороший, но есть несколько НО: уборка плохая, на подоконнике был слой грязи. Мебель в номере мало функциональна. Завтраки не каждый день были разнообразными.
Местоположение отличное. Самый центр
Место для парковки арендованной машины находили всегда на дорожке перед входом. Бассейн большой, но опять НО: вода выплескивается на прилегающую поверхность. Нет слива по краям бассейна, как это должно быть. Есть сауна, НО в ней пол из плитки!!! Так никто и нигде не делает! Нужно, чтобы не обжечь ноги, заходить в тапках, а это не правильно и вредно!
Рядом обменник с хорошим курсом и блошиный рынок с хорошими и недорогими сувенирами

We stayed in this place for two weeks couple of different occasion, one of the rooms we stayed in Room# 228 had leak issue, the shower/bathroom was leaking from the unit right above us and when we complained they kept us in the same room for two days before they change our room so we could not use the restroom or shower, it was dirtily and smell bad. I talk to staff requesting for some sort of credit, but they said the manager will be in touch and they never contacted us and never issued any credit, I don't recommend this place, this not how a 5 star hotel should tread their guest, I am not happy about it, I expect them to contact me and refund me for the two nights we had truble, but I do not think they care too much

A Comfortable Stay in Yerevan

I really enjoyed my 4-night stay at Ani Grand Hotel. The room and bathroom were clean, spacious and comfortable and just what I needed to come back to after a day of exploring. Breakfast was solid with a large variety of eastern and western foods available everyday. The hotel is conveniently located a short walk from Republic Square and Vernissage, just a 20 minute walk from the Cascade Complex and about a 20-25 minute drive from Yerevan Airport. Hotel staff was not friendly but at least still helpful if you have questions.

Carpets are nasty, struggled with sinus inflammation the entire trip. Daily upkeep of rooms was hit or miss depending on who was there. Most of the workers could care less about doing a good job. Food was ok, got repetitive after a few days as they dont change the menu bot overall wasnt bad. Internet at the property was reliable. The property is nice overall with a few caveats.

My sister and I spent two weeks at the Ani Grand Hotel on our first trip to Armenia. The hotel was very comfortable, we loved our room, and they offer a great breakfast. The staff was also very friendly and helpful. It’s only a ~10 walk to Republic Square and there are restaurants, breakfast places etc. very close by. It’s also nice that they have the Hyur tour guide agency right in the lobby so it’s convenient to plan day trips. The pool was also nice, but we only had a chance to go in once with our busy schedule. Highly recommend!

We had read various reviews and were a bit concerned. Through Expedia we asked the hotel to arrange transportation from the airport as we arrived to Yerevan at 3 am. The hotel made all arrangements and we had no issues checking in around 4 am (we had paid for an extra day).
The hotel provided excellent breakfast with a huge variety of items.
There were always helpful staff at the front reception and our experience was very positive with their language skills.
They were also helpful with questions about the city, taxi, bottled water, etc.
Our room was fairly sized. I don't think the TV remote worked, possibly just the batteries. But, frankly, we just wanted to enjoy the advantures and didn't care about the TV.
The hotel is located within walking distance of everything in the main circle. Vermissaj, thedsily flea market is 2 blocks away. You have supermarkets within 1 block. There is a drycleaning business 1/4 block, etc.
The washrooms are wonderfully renovated. The shower and toilet are in the same space but across from each other. So, when you shower you splash some water but in great scheme of things, this is minor and very tolerable.
We absolutely loved our stay at Ani Grand.

Great location in the middle of the restaurant and night life area. Traditional grand hotel style with attentive staff, lovely breakfast service, gym, spa, hair salon, jewellery store … several indoor and outdoor bars/cafes right in the hotel.

The rooms are very clean just a bit dated in style but with all the other amenities the hotel offers it’s soon a non issue.
A wonderful experience for all ages and we sincerely recommend our friends and family to stay at the Ani Plaza Hotel when in Yerevan.

Ani Grand Hotel is probably going to be one of my favorite hotels to stay when I'm in Yerevan.
The staff are super friendly, very helpful so you will not have any issues there.
Breakfast is amazing too, you have pretty good options to chose from.
It might not be the cheapest or the most affordable choice, but still it is going to be a pleasant experience.

The property was disappointing. It looks great from the outside, and the staff was very nice... but that's about it!

The rooms were not up to a 4-star rating. No universal plugs, air conditioning was ultra-weak, the breakfast was the same every day with pretty much no changes, and the interior was \"cold\" and uninviting.

For a 4-star hotel, LOOK elsewhere in Yerevan.

A Decent Hotel but lacking in many areas

Overall, the Ani Grand is a good hotel. Our room was very spacious with plenty of room to store luggage. The bed was fantastic; I couldn’t feel my wife when she moved around at all. The shower was very good and the bathtub was appreciated. The main reason I gave a unsatisfactory rating is because of the breakfast. It was terrible. We went to breakfast at 9 the first morning and everything was cold. No excuse. The second morning they ran out of yogurt. Finally, the eggs were always runny. One other thing, their pool was a nice size indoors but didn’t have a shallow end. It was over my wife’s head at each end.

Made a difficult stay infinitely better!

Rough stay, but it wasn't their fault. Lufthansa lost my luggage, and I was stressed out most of our short stay. However, the staff there is amazing! They did everything to help me get my bag back by the time we had to check out. The reservations manager, Elena, is even allowing us to get some things sent to us that were lost, even after we have checked out! Rooms are nice, big, and very comfortable! It's close to everything as well, and more affordable than others in the area. We will definitely go back when we leave Armenia. Highly recommend!

Terrible customer service. Asked for a breakfast box. It comes with a Turkey sandwich & a green apple. Told the front desk receptionist since I don’t like both options to please substitute them with different options, such as just a cheese sandwich and may be an orange or a banana. Instead, in a very rude tone, he said \"this is what the breakfast box comes with, if you don’t like it, you can throw them away”. Not believing what I just heard I said, just to be clear, even though I don’t like the food, you are still going to pack the same items and you are advising that I throw them away? He said, yes. This probably is one of the worst customer service experiences I have had at a hotel. Just unfriendly and bad service. Interestingly they packed a different sandwich and fruit but why tell your customers such thing while you know it’s a simple ask that can be fulfilled? Disappointing.
