-The coffee served at breakfast was not good. The instant coffee was hot, but the milk added to it was cold, so the whole drink ended up lukewarm.
-On the website, it was mentioned that all Superior Rooms have a balcony, but the one we received didn’t. When we asked about it, the staff explained that some Superior Rooms don’t include a balcony. After some discussion, finally they changed our room to one with a balcony the next day.

Such an amazing hotel, everything was very clean, staff was super friendly, within walking distance to city center, amazing restaurants. The hotel had breakfast included and it was amazing. Would book again.

This is not a four star hotel. It is true that it has a good location, but it is in a back alley that is not easy to access by car. Every time you enter and leave, you must coordinate with the hotel to open the alley entrance gate for you. The water pressure on the upper floors, especially the cold water, was very low. Unfortunately, during our stay, the electricity was cut off, the hotel does not have any facilities such as a generator, and you have to walk several floors in complete darkness without access to the elevator. The facilities of the hotel are not at the level of a four-star hotel, and I do not recommend it at all for people who go to Yerevan for business. Contrary to what is written on their website, breakfast is served at 7:30 a.m. and sometimes at 7:45 a.m. instead of 7:00 a.m. The hotel is clean and because it is in a back alley, it has a peaceful and quiet environment, but don't expect a view or anything special.

A couple of things to improve
The hotel is in a secluded Court, which is both good and bad. Essentially it is quite safe and you can park the car there for free. However finding it is quite hard, and parking can be quite complex since it's very narrow.
We had a little problem with our room. Again good in the sense that they fixed it quickly, but bad because they knew about it and didn't do anything until we called them.

Slamming hallway doors & \"free car transfer\" scam!
While the rooms are generally nice, slamming hallway doors made for very noisy nights. Given the fact that most flights from Europe arrive in the middle of the night, this noise is particularly disturbing for guests trying to still catch some sleep in the morning hours. Housekeeping speaking very loudly in the hallways also did not help.
The most outrageous experience however happened on the last day during the checkout. As a hotels.com Gold Status member, I had received (written) confirmation of free hotel-airport transfers. Yet, the receptionist told me that I had to pay for it, supposedly because the hotel had changed its contract with hotels.com. Even after conferring with management, the hotel refused to honor the contractual agreement and I was told to take up the discussion with hotels.com.
Summary: It was my first and last stay at this unprofessionally managed hotel. I also strongly advise against staying there, unless you are completely resistent to slamming doors and loud hallways.

Very nice and friendly staff. My wife stayed at Nova for over one month. The hotel it self is clean, you can only have your breakfast in your room during the pandemic. They do provide shuttle service and the rate is much better than the airport taxies. The staff make you feel like home, and will take care of your needs asap. Very convenient location, lots of resturants close by, safe neighborhood and 15-20 minutes away from the US embassy.

For it's price, Nova Hotel is excellent: comfortable rooms, pleasant staff, good breakfast and strategic location. I was welcomed well with no hitches at the desk and complimentary tea and seasonal dried fruits to spark my taste buds when I got to my room. The room accommodated me, a solo traveler at the time, perfectly. It comes complete with the usual hotel room necessities. The staff responded quickly throughout my stay and had an outstanding command of English.
Food prices at the hotel were average, leaning on the expensive side. While the room service menu was quite limited, I tried a pizza which was delicious despite their mini restaurant at the lobby. However, thanks to it's strategic location close to the centron and a wealth of restaurants around the area, it was easy for me to walk and get a quick bite outside the hotel. The hotel is slightly hidden from the street view but hopefully in the future this can be resolved.

Overall, Nova Hotel is quite a hidden gem in Yerevan, especially for picky solo travelers like me who like it cheap but homely. I recommend this hotel to small families, couples or anyone looking for a quick, no-nonsense stay in Yerevan.

The hotel is located between two main roads - it is not on either road - and we initially had a problem finding it. But once we knew were it was we were very happy with the location - walking distance from the main sights in the city of Yerevan or a very cheap taxi ride away.
The hotel staff are friendly, efficient and keen to please. Check-in was straightforward.

A very elegant, unassuming small hotel tucked away in downtown Yerevan. Great location near Freedom Square, Opera and Cascade. Republic Square with dancing fountains also within walking distance. Rooms are quiet, spacious enough, and everything looks new, clean and modern. Also high tech details like a green switch for housekeeping and a red switch for Do Not Disturb. Lots of little details make you feel at home. Bed is comfy. Towels are plenty. Breakfast is very good and staff is super friendly, welcoming and accommodating. Reasonably priced. Would stay again without a thought. It’s not just Nova, it’s Super Nova.

Hotel was clean. Situated centrally, albeit in a back alley which did not leave good impressions, but this is a characteristics of most hotels in Yerevan. Exceptional staff, very friendly, attentive and nice. Impressed highly by staff. Hotel room was nice, the carpets perhaps need cleaning, but beds comfortable and the bathroom clean with amenities upto standards for a 4 star hotel. Cleanliness, staff, and central location the best part about this hotel. Would recommend.

My husband's family lives in Yerevan so we travel there at least once a year. We have stayed at various hotels, but Nova is our favorite. As we were staying for more than a week, we wanted some extra space and booked the studio suite. We were glad we did. The view from the 5th floor was good. I took a Shiatsu massage in the spa and enjoyed it so much, I repeated it a couple of days later. Well worth spoiling yourself!

This was a bit more than I have been paying in the region, but so very much worth it! The beds are incredibly comfortable, two pillows each of different firmness. This is luxury bedding, not often found at this value. The staff is wonderful and helpful, housekeeping thourough. The breakfast was such a treat. It helps to think of it as brunch as it varies daily but some of my favorite dishes were chicken salad and balsamic reduction, lasagne, grilled vegetables, vegetable cakes, nice selection of cheeses, delicious cake it was very good. Don't worry traditional central European people there was plenty of brown bread and jam too! I found I did not even need to bother with lunch. We walked to all local sites from here although the desk will call you a taxi, which in Yerevan are metered and quite inexpensive. This was a great stay, I will not consider anywhere else in Yerevan when I return.

We were in Yerevan to visit family, and the Nova Hotel was amazing! Having an ultra modern room with ice cold air conditioning, a gorgeous spacious shower/bathroom AND including a wonderful daily breakfast?? We will be back for sure. The staff is incredibly friendly and warm - mainly young people who speak multiple languages so well. Fully recommend Nova.
