We stayed 11 nights in the family suite. The suite was well equipped, clean, well laid out and lots of natural lighting. Location, location, location. The 4 balconies afforded great city views and looking left, can see entrance to old town. It was especially convenient and fun to watch the February Carnival parades right below our balconies. All the staff from housekeeping to front desk were friendly and always ready to help. Two standouts whom we interacted with most made our stay more enjoyable and memorable was Maria and Oscar. Oscar was a gentleman who exuded quiet old world charm. He always listened attentively, and had wonderful suggestions for restaurants and pintxo bars. Maria is caring, always positive, and had a ready smile. Everyday she asked to make sure we are happy with everything. They are both very personable and we would talk daily about what we did , news around town, chatting like good neighbors. Great world class service. We would definitely come back to San Sebastián and definitely without hesitation stay again at Legazpi Doce rooms and suites.

Very nice staff when we arrived! They have free water in your room to drink and coffee/espresso, etc near reception. Shower is awesome! Water pressure is great! Very walkable destination. Would definitely stay there again. Also, when you take the bus from the airport ( bus stop is actually a bit down the rd from the airport fyi ), it drops you off very close to hotel!

This is a bare bones apart-hotel in the heart of San Sebastián. You can’t beat the location and we walked all over the city from the hotel there is a bakery downstairs and many good restaurants all within a stones throw . Can't say enough great things about this little gem of a hotel. The staff are so friendly (and speak fluent English). The room had nice cold air conditioning, was new and hip, and had a nice little balcony. They had the sofa bed already made up for our kids. Excellent location, close to the bay and to the old town. Our stay at this hotel could not have been more perfect. We had a very warm welcome the moment we walked in and had a flawless check in process. The attendant even went over many of the popular eateries, districts, and neighborhoods with us (all pretty much in walking distance which was super nice). We took the bus from Bilbao and the hotel was only a 10 minute walk to the hotel. As it was centrally located, there was plenty to do and see for the three nights we stayed there.

Location was great, next to a beautiful park and within walking distance to everything you need. Always felt safe in the neighborhood. There is no coffee in the room, but a complimentary self-operated machine was in the lobby and a coffee shop next door. My room (204) was a really nice corner room that might be a bit cozy for two people, but not a deal breaker. The only downfall was the street noise, especially if you wanted fresh air from outside. The noise was muted with the doors/windows closed. There is no onsite parking and the nearby (easy access) Okendo garage is spendy but worth it for the location.

Be aware of the stipulations during the winter season of this hotel. They said in their description that the hotel room provides air conditioning. That is incorrect. The air conditioning is programmed so that it can't cool down the temperature.

We have just had three nights here and what a fantastic three nights they were. The property is lovely and in the perfect location, just a short stroll from old town (5 mins) and new town (5 mins). Despite being so central it was very quiet, and we had two balconies with our room (204!) including a glimpse of the sea! This was a nice hotel, but in comparison to the others we stayed at during this trip, it was average. Overall the apartment was spacious, plenty of separation from the kids. But the entry light is on a sensor so it’s easily turns on, I wish we could turn it off. Rooms got really warm, especially the one that had a window open to the interior. My wife and I stayed here for a long weekend and could not have been happier. The hotel is very close to the old town area in a very upscale neighborhood. However, it is far enough from the center of the action that it was quiet when we wanted to sleep. The real selling point was the friendly front desk staff who went out of their way to help us with everything we needed. The room was also very clean, well decorated with excellent AC for the few times it got a little hot in the afternoons. All in all a fantastic experience that we could strongly recommend.
