Stayed originslly prior to cartel violence. We were supposed to drive back to Puerto Vallarta that day. Hotel staff alerted us to danger and we decided to stay. Hotel staff were fantastic although overwhelmed by added guests. particularly in restaurant which quickly by guests who could no longet go out safely.

Particular shoutout to oler gentleman waiter who worked tirelessly for what seemed like days, since no relief could get to to hotel with transportation shut down.

Don't let the recent violence deter you from visiting this lovely hotel in this beautiful city

He even helped removed the plastic zips that the airline added to the luggage. Check in staff was nice. But the other times not as much. An excellent room for a reasonable price. An attractive hotel near the historical center. Only drawback in the room - no refrigerator. You may have to uber to get to the lively restaurant areas at night, but this wasn't a problem for us. A good breakfast buffet available for MX$ 225. Attractive public areas. An up-to-date bathroom.

I called the hotel before arriving on December 26 to confirm whether adding an additional guest would require canceling or rebooking my reservation. I was clearly told by staff that no changes were needed and there would be no extra charge.

However, when I arrived, I was required to pay an additional fee for my guest — the exact issue I was trying to avoid by calling in advance. This lack of consistent communication was frustrating and disappointing. I would recommend getting everything in writing before arrival.

Te reciben con mucha amabilidad y dispuestos a ayudar! Debo resaltar las atenciones de Alexis quien nos ayudó con nuestras maletas, nos conversó del lugares claves y nos dio información para los tours de la ciudad (tour a tequila) que no nos arrepentimos!. El hotel está en el centro, muy cómoda ubicación, nuestra habitación super cómoda, limpia, y nada de ruido de la calle.

Three stars because I reserved a room with king bed but upon arrival I was given a room with double beds and no refund for the difference in rate, was told by the receptionist, with no apology, that it was not their mistake but one of the site I made the reservation through, that they don’t know why it occurred but I could take it up to them. I did, expedia did no corrections or refund difference on rate. Not happy about it but at least we discovered a good hotel as far as cleanliness and comfortability. Over all, I’d recommend this hotel, next time

The best feature of this hotel is the proximity to the historic center. The staff are very friendly and helpful. This hotel continues to be very clean and comfortable. However, certain upgrades to the rooms are recommended. The electrical outlets need a little work. When you plug in your electrical cords they are very loose they don't stay on the outlets. This is probably my fourth time staying here and I would love to come back in the future.
