Clean rooms, comfortable beds, kind staff at the front. Close to a bus stop to ride into the center. About a 20 minute ride. Also it is close to the train station (Santa Justa). Another plus- next door is a restaurant to get breakfast which was convient, affordable, and delicious. Overall enjoyed my stay. Would book again.

The room it self was spacious, nice and clean.
However the beds kept on moving apart. The bed moved very easily so when it moved apart I was easily almost falling into the gap. The pillow kept almost falling and it made the night very uncomfortable. Any slight movement would cause the beds to move.

Great location for the price and everywhere is accessible by local transport and walking. Everyday we walked into Triana and down by the river, but we prefer to walk anyway. The staff are very lovely in all sectors of the business and very polite. Some parts of the hotel are a little tired and could do with a lick of paint, We enjoyed our stay.

We booked the hotel because it said it had parking. When we arrived there was no parking available-so very disappointed. The staff gave us good instructions on how to get to a local 24 hr car park that was very close, but that was an extra €40 we did not expect to pay. We expected to have a kettle and hot drink making facilities. Otherwise it was clean and friendly and the breakfast was good.

The hotel is very close to the main train station of Seville and the airport. It's also very close to a big shopping centre and the metro station for going into the centre. Due to issues with our flight we arrived much later than expected and we were upgraded to a superior room. We were mostly out in town during our stay so did not make much use of the facilities, however the free wine that came with the superior room was most welcome as our departure day was my birthday. Our stay was very pleasant and we would definitely stay there again if we were to go back to Seville.

Great location, 30 minnwalk into centre or 11 mins by bicycle (we rented during our stay and secured them overnight in the hotel garage). Junior suite was perfect formour family, spacious and modern with tea making facilities. Other rooms don't have kettles. If taking car then call ahead to reserve as limited places - can't fill tall cars as steep hill down into garage with max head clearance of 1.70m. Amazing customer service from Julian, he was the best!

The room was perfect. Staff were helpful. 2 shopping centers close by. It is a good area to stay only 10 mins away from the airport and about 15-20 mins from City centre.
One of the cons was that the passing cars on the road could affect your sleep.
Overall I would give them an 8.5.

The pictures on the website were a bit deceiving. The room had paper thin walls and doors and we could hear everything that was going on in the rooms both besides us and across from us. The beds only had sheets on them and I had to ask for blankets, as it was chilly in the room. Outside of the lobby and breakfast area, the hotel looked like it hadn't been updated since the 70's.

Positives

The rooms are large and clean.
No issues with hot water.
Breakfast was good with decent variety for 7 euros per person.
Hotel is 30 min walk from the major attractions in seville and 10 to 12 min from santa justa train station. Plenty of options for public transport.

Negatives

The noise on the first floor. Avoid the first floor as they appear to make preparations for breakfast there. This will start around 3:45 am and last till 5am. Its a constant movement of carts. It nearly ruined our entire trip.

We read reviews about friendly staff, but we have a few observations;

1) Most staff do not understand basic English. Sometimes it was as if they feign not knowing English. When we complained about noise on our room, Julien at reception claimed he did not understand me. Yet the noise severely died down post the call. It would suggest what I said was understood
2) When we ordered room service from the adjoining cafe ( as it was full) the person who picked up the phone could not understand what we were saying in English. Rather than trying to make an effort understand what we wanted, that individual simply discontinued the call. While it is unfair to expect staff in spain to know English, be fore warned that if you dont speak Spanish, do not expect room service. This is especially an issue as there are no tea coffee making facilities.
3) Post us getting a room change we noticed that Ignacio in reception was cold towards us.

No windows!!!!!

Worst experience I had in Spain. Room 106 had no windows, it was very old but clean. WiFi is horrible and barely works. At 6 am, workers start moving chairs for the breakfast and yell until you wake up. I took pictures of the room which is NOTHING like advertised. It’s far away from all important attractions (about 35 min walk).

Waaay to exepnsive we paid over Euro 100 to stay here, and it's not good value for money - We had to stay here as we needed to be in a certain location and there was nothing else available.
You have to pay to use the in room safe, no kettle in room or even a shower cap in the bathroom. Wouldn't stay here again.

It says wifi in rooms, but there was no wifi. It would come on if I stood by the wall in one spot, but it was gone quickly and would not reconnect. It also didn't work in the lobby. I was stuck all night with no wifi and no way to check anything or do anything. Also, if you don't speak Spanish, good luck. They don't speak English there. Typical European two twin bed set up. Had I had internet, I would have rated it much higher.

About what you would expect for a bigger hotel away from the city center. The room was a little bit cramped and we had a view of the air conditioning unit, but it was clean and had what we needed. The on-site parking fee is pretty steep, but if you're lucky you can find public parking on the street out front. Receptionists were helpful and friendly in Spanish but more limited in English. The location was ok for the train station if you had a car, and the only attraction right nearby is a mall. So if you're there for sightseeing and you don't like to walk you might be better off finding a hotel in the center. Overall, though, this place was fine.

Problems with check in and internet

We booked this hotel online at 9am. Upon arrival at 5pm, the clerk had no idea we had a reservation and was not interested in the reservation number nor in reading the reservation on my phone's email. Spanish was the only language spoken. I am from Miami, so Spanish is not a problem. I had to call Hotel.Com who then called the clerk directly. (The clerk gave the telephone to my friend since the clerk spoke no English.) The Hotel.Com agent agreed to resend the email. The whole process took a full hour. I saw the reviews about poor internet, and thought that I am here to see Seville, it won't affect me. Apparently, the hotels poor internet service affects more than the ability to get your email! The hotel was acceptable otherwise. Near train station and bus lines, definitely clean rooms. Plan on speaking only Spanish when here.

Staff were very unhelpful and most of them didn't speak a word of English. The internet didn't work for over a week, all the staff did was shrug their shoulders. The room was very noisy from the traffic outside and you could hear every noise from the rooms next door plus the corridor as the walls were paper thin. Only slight positive was that the room was fairly clean.

Very disappointed with the standard of this hotel, advertises wireless Internet, which I need for my business, not worked for days, and staff are not interested when you ask for help and just shrug their shoulders. The room is a very small box room, decorated to poor standards, traffic noise is very loud and the walls are like paper, you can hear every step from the corridor too.

Handy for the train station

Overall the room was good value for what we paid. The room was clean and the bathroom was spotless. The hall floors are all wooden so you hear everything including roller suitcases at 6 am! The walls are also like paper so you can hear conversations too. As we had prepaid i went to checkout as a courtesy in the morning and I have to say that I was slightly annoyed at the lack of manners of the gentleman behind the desk. His exact words were \"mini bar\" to which I said no and then he waved his hand at us and turned around!!

This hotel is about a 15 min walk from the Santa Justa train station. There is an adjacent restaurant with reasonable prices and a varied menu. One can charge meals there to the hotel bill if you ask. There are 2 other restaurants across the street.
The rooms were simply furnished and clean. We had arranged for a quiet room and got it. The breakfast was very ample and had a number of choices.
The staff was always helpful but a bit shy. Some Spanish would be helpful to you. This is a clean, simple, reasonably priced hotel. If that is what you are after make your reservation.

Good value for money

The hotel is beautifully clean and spacious. The room was large, as was the bathroom, and the bed extremely comfortable. Having free wifi in the room was a real bonus, as was the little fridge. Staff were helpful and good-natured. The hotel is some distance from the touristic centre but this makes it quiet in the rooms at the back and good value for money. A bus running down the street takes you into town. In January we found that the restaurant was not open and there is a very limited range of places to eat nearby. Other gripes: the design of the mini-bath/shower with fixed screen makes getting in and out hazardous, and for a longer stay there was insufficient furniture in the room, which had plenty of space to accommodate it. A table in addition to the desk, and some shelves or drawers for clothes storage, would make a real difference to one's comfort.

modern, clean hotel but too far from city center

pros: hotel was clean, modern, had free internet in lobby. staff was good. the first room they gave us was a larger family room which had a poorly functioning AC so they changed us to a more modern room immediately. hotel is 1 km from the train station which was convenient and one can walk easily.
cons: the hotel is in the modern part of seville so have to take a bus to go to the city center. the last bus back is at 11.15 pm so if you are planning to stay out late, have to take a cab back. from what I saw in seville, there are a lot of good hotels in the city center also. the free wifi also didn't work most of the time.

MV on Luis Montoto - mixed review!

There were cockroaches in the bathroom...one day the room was cleaned well, the next only beds were made, and all the soaps and shampoos were removed!
Ramon at the desk was extremely helpful getting a parcel to us as we moved on to another city, so he was the highlight of the stay!
bus 21 takes you to the sites about a 10 minute ride, very handy.
breakfast buffet not worth the money, no fruits or vegetables on the menu....
Internet access in room was terrible, had to sit in lobby.
the room was well airconditioned, and quiet for sleeping...the mini bar prices were reasonable.
the safe reqires a key from the desk and is barely large enough for a wallet, and a camera....not good at all for laptops.
desk staff generally were pleasant and helpful.
there is a Cortes de Ingles across the street, handy for anything you forgot!

Hotel virgin de Los Reyes, Seville.

The hotel itself is very nice, lovely reception area, rooms were very nice and cleaned with towels/ toiletries replaced after the first night. The problem was two-fold. The first being the staff. We pulled ip outside the hotel and asked where we can park: the man said outside the hotel on a busy road, where there were no spaces and it would cost 15 euros a day. So after driving to a public underground car park we later found out the hotel had it's own underground car park. Later on asking another staff member to book a taxi, when one pulled up outside she came running out shouting away in spanish, (I know were in Spain and we should understand them but it's a tourist city and English people tend not to be able to speak any over language than their own), the just was that we had got in the wrong taxi. After repeatedly saying 'no entiendo' (I don't understand), she continued to berate me in Spanish!! The second issue was the location. We had read it was only 1km from the centre but it took a good 30min to walk there. From then on we chose to get a taxi which in fairness was reasonable prices from 5-8 euros.

Nice hotel but sketchy service and location

I only stayed one night in this hotel. It's nicely decorated and has modern rooms, albeit dark. They lose one point on cleanliness based on the used ear bud I found in the bathroom.

As a tourist the location was only good for it's proximity to the Airport bus stop or if you want to spend the day in the big shopping mall. Walking to the old town is a good 15 minutes each way, which is fine if you want to do it once a day, but by the time I walked in, walked all around for the afternoon and then back to the hotel, I was too stuffed to walk back for dinner, and there really is not a lot to choose from near the hotel.

The guy who checked me in was borderline rude - I almost felt like apologising for arriving. He spoke next to no English (which is fine since I was in Spain, but just as a warning) and when I asked for a map of Seville he just pointed me in the direction of the brochure stand. The man that replaced him later that afternoon was much friendlier and helpful, and is the only reason I give the service a 3/5.

The room was good and the location was great...a 15 minute walk or $2 bus ride from to the key attractions. The only down side was the thin doors and walls, plus wooden floors. Bring your earplugs, especially if you're a light sleeper. The front desk staff was hit or miss in terms of courtesy, but no major complaints.

Wir blieben eine Nacht im Hotel. Leider liegt das Hotel weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt, sodass wir mit dem Mietwagen in die Stadt gefahren sind. Keine Empfehlung, da dort wirklich sehr viel los war.
Das Zimmer war im ersten Stock, direkt an einer Nebenstraße. Man hörte den Fahrstuhl und sehr genau, was in den Nachbarzimmern gesprochen wurde.

Para empezar no tienen unas plazas de aparcamiento en la puerta ,para dejar el coche mientras te registras,solo tiene 5 plazas de parking,tuvieron que arreglar la cisterna cuando llegamos,no funcionaba la TV y ni supieron arreglarla,ni tenian otra de recambio, no es de 4 estrellas

Buen alojamiento con ciertas mejoras

Sólo estuvimos una noche: las instalaciones estaban limpias y el personal fue amable. Sugerencias: por el precio que tiene la habitación sería interesante poner una máquina para café/té que fuese complementario y dejar de usar mantas por mucho que se laven sin tener uma funda que las cubra no sé que tan higiénicas son.

Tuvimos una recepción genial, dejándonos la habitación antes de hora.
El personal nos facilitó toda la información que pedimos. Hotel cerca de la estación de tren, muy fácil acceso.

Cerca del Hotel hay una estación del Bus que hay que utilizar obligatoriamente porque todo queda lejos. En los pasillos del hotel hay mal olor es como a cañeria de baño, en las habitaciones se escucha todo lo del pasillo y lo de otras habitaciones porque el piso es en madera, se escucha hasta cuando bajan el toilet después de usarlo. No me gustó.
