The hotel is fine - it is not the newest but our room was clean with good linens. The Deluxe Room was also a very good size. The staff were all extremely nice and helpful. The location is very good - you can walk to the Corniche and the large shopping mall in minutes.

For the price, a reasonable hotel. Some of the decor a little tired, for example stained carpet in the room, but no big deal. Would have given higher score, however awful room service was not rectified in a reasonable way so left a negative feeling to the stay. Room service took nearly 2 hrs to arrive (we tried to cancel as decided just wanted to go to sleep) but was awful quality. We asked for a refund on the food, but they would not oblige. Offered free breakfast which was a pointless gesture as we had to check out early hours.just seemed so strange!

Room was big. We were given a bed for 3 people to sleep in. We travelled with an 8 month old and requested for a cot on the day of arrival anad again the next day. We were told there were none available. Although the bed was big, it was very difficult sleeping with a baby.
The carpet in the room had pink staines everywhere. Room was cleaned daily.
Breakfast had limited options. My partner was not allowed to bring me food in my room, despite telling the staff I was very unwell.

The overall stay at great for all conveniences. The hotel was room were cleaned daily and provided with water bottles. The breakfast club was great especially when travelling with kids. We had a great time with a 5 yr old. Thanks to all the staff at Best Plaza Hotel.

I will definitely give this hotel 100! The entire staff were very helpful and kind. It’s impeccably clean. The rooms are spacious and I had the best city view ever. One will realize the entire hotel smells really good even the elevators. Breakfast was amazing! So much to chose from. I totally enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be staying here again

City centre mall very nearby (10 min walk). Lots of restaurants and shopping there. Cinema also and a massive inflatable park inside. Pearl city, corniche, musuems, lusail all easy to get to by an uber (very cheap) and within 20 mins everything. There is also a metro and buses but we went in August so was super hot to walk anywhere. Uber was very handy

Hotel and all staff are extremely efficient pleasantly polite. Anything I needed happened immediately and with a smile. Easy near to the city Center mall if you need anything - 5mins in a/c car - Uber is well implemented in Doha making transport easy.

I am a sikh by religion so i wear a turban. I was refused entry into the BREWSKIS bar on the basis that I was wearing a turban and I consider that racist. I will avoid Crownplaza hotels henceforth.

Room size was larger than expected for basic room.
Elevator access was a little complex. Did not get frequent stay points because booked through third party.
Could not modify hotel nights because booked through third party (Orbitz) and Orbitz did not respond.
Hotel nights were incorrectly calculated by Orbitz and I did not catch the error until I checked in.
Hotel is modern. Breakfast variety was excellent.
Location was excellent.

The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The bedroom was very dark as it was painted and decorated in dark brown. It looked very worn in the bathroom with poorly grouted tiles around the bath.
The lifts were sometimes very slow.
The bedroom had a sea view but with all the other buildings being built in front of the Crowne Plaza the view was limited. This is not reflected in the information about the hotel.

I have stayed here many times over the last four years, during which it has changed its name three times. The rooms are excellent, well furnished and have the luxury of a plug socket right by the bedside so you can charge your device overnight. The bathrooms are modern and the shower is super strong. On the downside, this time, is the removal of a hairdryer – clearly people have been taking them home – replaced with card pledging “instant service” – mine took 45 mins to arrive and I was not pleased, having waited in to receive it. A decent hotel can’t seriously not have a hair dryer on demand! Oh, and one of the main towel was ripped – lets hope that’s not the new standard for Crowne Plaza. Not my best stay with them

Buy good, buy twice

2 day / 1 night trip to Qatar. All was good except check in where they insisted i had not paid in advance. I did not have time to check so paid again. I later dug-out my paperwork and showd them the invoice from hotels and eventually got a refund in cash after insisting i would not leave until this was resolved but that left me short by the exchange rate and overseas CC charge...

Everything was great, for a double bed room it was pretty spacious. The only thing we had a problem with was the shower, water would leak into the bathroom floor if a towel wasn't there to stop it. Obviously found this out after my first shower.

Loved it

I enjoyed the stay, it's a very clean and quite hotel. My room had so much space . I wasn't happy with the pool there was no staff or music and the bar was abandoned but it was clean. The cafe and the deco was amazing. Very polite staff and door guys were very nice. 5* service. Food in room was expensive and menue need more selection like wraps.

New hotel, horrible finishings in room. Seems dirty and as if there were damages by contractors. Walls, bath tub, carpet, and even furniture have damage or are dirty. Was not a great experience especially since it is a new hotel, expectations were high. Room Service breakfast was horrible. Thick instant coffee came with condensed milk. Pancakes lacked syrup and not a true description on menu from what I received. Pineapple juice was syrup.
