Room was clean, staff responsive, it is an older property and needs updating. Room had a Venetian blind but no drape. Sink and bathtub had cracks and peeling on bottom. No closet. Breakfast was lacking. We came down at 910 and there was literally nothing left and we were told it ends at 930.

My stay at Baymont by Wyndham Lakeland was extremely disappointing and did not match the photos advertised online.

The room was in very poor condition. The furniture was visibly damaged and worn, and the mattress was lumpy and uncomfortable. The bathroom was unacceptable—there was sticky residue with hair in the shower, and the sink counter was heavily worn and needs to be replaced. Cleanliness overall was clearly not a priority.

I also encountered a roach in the room, which is completely unacceptable for any hotel stay.

There was a noticeable odor upon entering the room, including which made the environment uncomfortable from the start.

Housekeeping and basic accommodations were also lacking. There were only two towels provided for two guests for a four-day stay, and when I requested more, I was told I had to bring in dirty towels to receive clean ones. The front desk response was dismissive, stating, “you may not like the things we do here, but it’s how we do things,” which reflects poor customer service.

Additionally, the sheets were not changed at all during the stay, which does not align with expected hospitality standards.

Given that this property operates under the Wyndham name, Wyndham corporate may need to review the policies, standards, and overall condition of this location, as it does not reflect the level of quality typically associated with their brand.

Overall, this property is not being maintained properly and is misleading.

Room was not clean the first room had hair on the bedding as well as stains. The bed looked like it was straightened out not made up. The air conditioning was set to 60 degrees.
The second room had spots and hair on that bedding also and the room had baby roaches running around. We checked out and went to a other hotel.
After speaking with the hotel they refunded my money but still charged me 90 dollars because we messed up the bedding so they could not rent the room out that night.

Even though it says it’s a non-smoking hotel folks and I will walk in the hallway smells straight up Weed people don’t follow the rules and regulations my first room they sent me had a huge hole on the wall so I changed for another the second room had bumps on the bed furniture had damages and they had to patch the bathtub faucet with white silicon which was breaking and they never clean my room not even once while I stayed no extra towels or garbage bag….. Is the hotel cheap yeah kind of but is it worth to stay I don’t think so.

Breakfast was just cereal and fruit. Room was not clean. Heater didn't work properly. If you want your room cleaned you have to request it daily. If you wanted fresh towels you had to take them your dirty towels to get new ones. Plus they haven't refunded my deposit yet and it's been 2 days. Swimming pool was dirty. One cockroach. The hotel is an extended stay so the rooms we thought we booked were not available. You have to put your name on a list to have your room cleaned. The front desk employees were very disrespectful. The rooms were old and lights didn’t work. The elevator went out and they waited until the next day to call someone, we had to call the fire department to help get my 93 year old aunt down from the third floor. I will never stay there again.

Hotel looks great from the outside and it is centrally located. It had ample free parking. However, the room we got (room # 330) was run down and could have used some renovations. The microwave did not work, there was no closet or any place to hang clothes. We hung them from an opened cabinet door. (Thank God I always travel with hangers.) Also the toilet seat was stained and the sink counter surface was scratched and chipped. Given the chain (Wyndham) and the price, I expected much better!

I had a horrible stay at this hotel. The room was not clean when I arrived, the staff seemed uninterested in helping, and several things in the room were either broken or not working properly. On top of that, the overall service was extremely disappointing. For the price paid, the experience was unacceptable. I would strongly advise others to stay somewhere else.

Very poor customer service. Failed to welcome us to hotel and failed to give status of room until we insisted and we did not get into room until after 3:00. Room was somewhat acceptable. Missing furniture. Lamps don’t match. Bulb in one lamp missing a bulb. Mini blind messed up, no curtain on window, so it felt like it was daylight all night long.-stadium lighting! Crooked closet bar to hang clothes. Took all night to figure out the tv-especially when the batteries were dying. Couldn’t figure out if i could claim Wyndham points. No coffee in room. Disappointing for the price. Only benefit it was close to Tigertown. Would not recommend. Hope all Wyndham hotels are not like this one. Breakfast was not ready, so we left.

It's not the best property but they are trying.We booked a room with a fridge and when we checked in it didn't have one so I'd double check that at check in if it's something you need. The furniture it dated but it's not really an issue however the blinds are very thin made more for a home and they allow all the outside light in making it hard to sleep. I was initially pretty upset about our stay I had food I had to throw away and didn't get the best night sleep due to the blinds but upon speaking to the manager I can tell they are trying. From what I was told shipping delays are making it harder for them to receive their new window treatments and furniture. I will say the bathroom was extremely clean and they do have a lower rate than most of the properties in the area so it's worth giving them a shot. I just wouldn't suggest a room directly behind the light poles other rooms the blinds might not be such an issue.

I had no heat in my room and there were bugs possibly cockroaches in my room! The floor was not clean and I found old French fries on the floor! When I asked to move rooms because of no heat the next room given to me also had bugs, the door didn’t want to open and the shower head sprayed water all over the bathroom!

The room was semi clean. The kids walked around in their sock and their socks were black from the floor. I asked for a roo. That slept 5 and all it had was 2 double beds, full size not queen. One of the kids is the size of a full grown man and one of my girls is the size of a full grown women. My granson let the girls sleep on the bed and he slept on the floor. Good thing we brought blankets.

The staff was supportive. 1st room latch was broken, totally off the door, mini refrigerator had a hold in the corner of the door, and drawer full of water. Caulking around tub had black mold, room smelled moldy. The staff mention is under contruction it has new owners hopefully will improve. We were moved to a 2nd room. It smelled much better. Not very clean, we bought detergent to clean it. One of the beds where sinking in the middle. I bought an inflatable bed. We mainly spent time with family, only went there to sleep. Again, staff amazing.

This place is extremely sketchy. Upon arrival I noticed a “gentleman” seated in front who seemed to be waiting on customers to pull up and by his “product”. When I entered the lobby I noticed that there was no furniture (like it had all been stolen). My bed had a cavernous hole in one side that was clearly from repeated use (I’m sure a lot of money was made during the creation of that hole). I suggest not leaving any valuables in your vehicle and when you go out don’t leave any valuables in the room.

Do yourself a favor and pick a different hotel.

The property is not being maintained as soon as you get into the room it's smells like cigarettes, it's supposed to be a smoke free property,also the room had roaches and the floors were stained and dirty. There was no soap to take a shower or to was our hands.our room was missing the smoke alarm and the walls were bleeding some brown gunk in the shower. Over all I am super upset with my stay here the pictures online are from what the front desk said \"old pictures\" and do not represent the current state of the rooms. I really want to get my money back from this stay I only stayed because we checked in around 7 pm and we were all tired of not I would have just left and gone somewhere else.

Property was pet friendly. That was nice. My issue is that my father, an older guy, tried to book me an additional night. When working on the computer to book the night, he accidentally booked a night in the wrong week. He immediately called Hotels.com and the Baymont hotel and neither were able or willing to transfer the night over to the proper week. That was a bummer that they would essentially steal my dad's money, when all he was trying to do was help me out by booking a night online.

I wish I could give 0 stars. We walked into the room and immediately my son asked what was that smell. We saw roaches within minutes in the bathroom, on the ceiling, and by the area you can keep luggage. Breakfast was a joke. No milk for cereal. No fruit. Only choice was bread and to make a waffle. Will never be back
