I was traveling by car and rain got worse, i stop and only 2 hotels Days Inn, and quality
Days inn the curtains dirty an couldn't closed, insects over it.
Insects in the floor, over the window, bad smell
I understand is economic inn. But the cleaning must be the focus. I never will be back either free. Ah!! I need my money back because i didn't stayed there, i moved to next one. As soon I saw it, i leave. AND I GOT VIDEOS

Never states at a horrible motel before. First room had stains all over the baseboards, hair on the bed, unclean floors. The room was not clean. After complaining, the staff changed the room. New room is better, but not great. Bathroom doors don’t even lock. Hard to adjust the water temperature if shower. Except the friendliness of the staff, there is nothing going for this place. Stay away from this place. I am not sure if this area has any better options though.

The room was mediocre. Expedia said it has a free breakfast and daybed or free futon. Both of those were false. No food, no extra amenities. It felt like it was a struggle to obtain 4 extra pillows.
It is close to the Luray Caverns. It's cheap friendly, not business friendly.

Could use a lot of maintenance. 1/4 inch gap around the entrance door. Bathroom ceiling needs to fixed properly. It was supposed to be a handicap room, yesit had grab bars in the tub and around the toilet. I only have one leg and there was no shower chair or bench.

Hotel was fine for what it was, a budget one-night stay travel hotel.
My biggest issue is that they advertise it as having breakfast included, which it is not.
I verified with the front desk that they don't offer breakfast, haven't offered breakfast for a significant amount of time(meaning for months) and are aware that it is on the listing but have not changed it.
I feel that is essentially false advertising and will not be staying their again on our travels through the area.

room neglected !!!!! my wife and I traveled for years 95 percent of the time we stayed at a days inn,always friendly clean. the last time we went to a days weopened the door to the room and my wife said we are staying here the room smelled of mold so we left !! my wife passed two years ago and this was my first trip without her. I had just travelled for 15 hours and was exhausted. I opened the door to the room and mildew smell hit me the floor looked like it was 50 years old, three stinck bugs were crawling across the ceiling the light on the desk did not work turn on the light in bathroom and cockaroaches took running cocarroches also crawling near tv I was so exhausted I needed rest tried to use phone to call office fo wake up call phone did not work where smoke was supposed o be was just wires hanging out of the wall chain door lock broken could not use lock slept for a couple of hours with all lights and tv on if my had been with me we would not have stayed in that room disgusting!!!! will never attempt to stay in a days inn again. roger blair

When we moved a fridge to plug it in, there were cockroaches there. In room 215 the bathtub was not cleaned at all. In 214 (we had two room) the paint in the bathroom was just not what one would expect in a hotel. And in 214 I saw a few cockroaches too. Place advertised free breakfast which there is none. And I was charged $10 for leaving a stain on a towel, which is seriously ridiculous, especially considering that there were towels which I did not even use since there were other weird stains from apparently them being clean…Oh and the phone in 215 had sticky spilled stuff on it. Overall it is far from clean and was not to my standards but it was late on a weekend and I just did not want to move hotels, so we stayed. The employee at the front desk was really nice and accommodated switching me to a nonsmoking room - I did not realize I booked smoking, which was super nice of him and I really appreciated that!

There was roach nymphs in my room. The bedding had stains. The bathroom had cobwebs all over the ceiling as well as unwashed shower curtains and mold. The door didn’t latch properly to stay closed. Would not stay here again.

Very disappointed and deceived when they said they had breakfast and found out only at the desk was coffee and a snack or cookies. We could not kill the bug from the crawling around the toilet and the bolt lock at the door did not work and we didn't try it until we were all settled in and just hoped the safety bar at the upper part of the door would be enough I should someone open the door it wouldn't open all the way no no coffee pot in the room or microwave dirty floor and we were just so disappointed

I arrived at 315 pm, checked in, went to the room found the floor dirty ice bucket had crud in the corners. Paper cups not sealed in plastic. The next morning I started taking a shower and the water didn't drain. I finished and washed my feet in the sink. I went back in and looked at the tub the water was slowly going down and I saw a very black ring approximately 6 inches tall all around the tub. I reported it the night clerk said he would pass it on. Tub was cleaned but nothing else was. After 3 days I asked for clean towels from house keeping she shrugged and pointed to the office. I asked the clerk for clean towels and was told that I should have had enough to last the week (2 towels). I had enough and checked out 2 days early

The 'breakfast included' was advertised on the reservation, but there were no any breakfast there. Liars! Was forced to change morning plans for whole family and had additional spending to buy a breakfast.
There are doors between rooms and we could hear each word spoken by our neighbors next door. Couldn't sleep due to that.
No breakfast, no sleep! What's the point of staying there? Terrible!

I don't recommend this plece to other people. I booked 3 rooms with queen beds. They gave us 2 rooms with queen bed and 1 room with double bed. Rooms were spacious though. It says they have breakfast, but they only have some snack. Also the bathroom was dirty.

Not the best place to stay. There is another Quality Inn in New Market, it looks better. Had I known this , that is where I would have stayed. Door had no security lock and door jam had gap that you could see outside. Not the most presentable room. Thank god we stayed one night. Also tv had no signal to watch any programs. Breakfast is coffee , muffin, bananas and crackers. Staff are as mediocre. Difficult to understand. Suggestion… look elsewhere.

We were told \"217 is the last room we have, so you can't change it\" when we checked in, which was concerning. The concerns were justified when we arrived in the room. The paint was peeling, there were holes in the walls, and all the drains were open, which unfortunately made it very easy for the moderate infestation of cockroaches to move around the space. The walls had no soundproofing (possibly because of the holes) so every dog bark and argument woke us up all night. The only reason I gave it 2 stars for eco friendly was that we saved water by being too disgusted to use the shower. The \"complementary breakfast\" was a basket of green bananas and granola bars. There was a pool, and it had water in it, but the water was green so it's for the best that it had a CLOSED sign on it.
Calling the place a 2 star hotel is generous.

Wow, the wifi died every 5 minutes, would not stay connected. My room key constantly would not work, it was the lock not me, never ever have I had to get so many replacement keys. Staff did come over once and fight it open for me. cleaning prior guest trash out of the shower was an oversight, but I have seen worse. The shower had good pressure. I did feel safe in this location. Limited peking in front.

Overall, this place was disgusting. Dirty. Gross. Here's a couple of suggestions, throw away all the broken and mismatched pool furniture and close the pool. It looks terrible. Hire a monthly exterminato. Pick up all the trash around the property and the cigarette butts.pull the weeds around the hotel. Looks Terrible. Maybe even power wash the dirty cement. It won't take a lot of money to clean up this place. Simple things. The people who work there were nice, but overall, it was dirty and run down. .

We booked 2 rooms and both beds and pillows had bed bugs. Then we met another older couple in the lobby at 1 a.m. and they were leaving because of bed bugs also. The night clerk saud it happens every night but the owners wouldn't do anything abiut it. She was crying.

It was adequately clean and quiet, which is what it needed to be. The light between the bed did not work (I'm not the first to comment on that), and someone had partially pulled the metal rack over the ironing board from the wall- a few minutes with a screwdriver (or 10 minutes with a wall screw/epoxy) should fix/should have fixed that.

This is my second at this facility. I come to New Market once a year now to work with a nonprofit.I rated it about average to good because it’s more like a motel than a hotel. The room was clean but shower room left a lot to be desired because the tub had a ring. I just felt that more of an effort could be made to clean the bathtub for the guest.

This hotel advertises breakfast and the pictures show a dinning room with a decent spread. All you get is a banana and a granola bar. I pick places thay have breakfast so that i dont need to waste time and money finding breakfast. This was a major disapointment, and nearly a lie.

The room was notably dirty. The chairs had stains all over them. The floors, walls, doors, and pretty much every surface has major ware, stains, chipped paint, cracks, etc. I will say that the sheets and towles DID seem clean, if they hadnt i would have left.

The cable service went out around 9 PM and did not come back on throughout my stay. The bathroom verged on unsafe as the knob for the shower was almost coming off and hard to turn shower on off find hot or cold. There were several bugs on the floor when I woke up in the morning

We have stayed here several times both recently and in the past. Recent stay was very poor. One of the receptionist was not friendly and appeared to not like his job or people. In the past, the hotel was clean and appeared taken care of. On our most recent trip there were bugs in both of the rooms that we rented. Also, the bathroom and rooms were not cleaned well at all. There was brown scum in the bath tubs and on the room floors. We ended up going to the store to buy cleaning supplies and cleaned the floors and tubs ourselves. Even the pool and landscaping were not tended to as they should be. I saw that they tended the pool in the mornings but really should have done some care in the afternoon as well. We come every year but will not be staying here in the future. Thank you for listening

In all fairness, I did not read through the reviews thoroughly.
I thought I read this place had breakfast. They offered an off brand granola bar, banana muffin and very bad coffee. One selfish guest in front ofe filled his travel mug and left very li. Not too big of a deal since it wasnt very good.
No microwave in the room. No local information, tv channel guide. Bare bones.
I recommend this place ONLY if you are looking for a quick stop over to sleep and shower. If you plan to stay more than 1 night, book another property.

Check in was horrible. The guy at the front had no personality and had an attitude when I told him we booked queen beds and got double. He said i will show you they are the same. I said if they are the same then why am I paying more for queens. He just walked off and changed our room. The beds were the same(double) once in the new room, we settled in and left to eat. When we got back our door would not open, he once again had an attitude and reprogramed the key. It still didn't work so he came out and tried and it took him four times to get it to work. He handed me the key without saying anything and just walked away,
The pool was freezing in August. My son still got in and everyone that \"lives\" there kept saying he was going to get sick and he was crazy for being in there... They were actually all really nice and had great personalities. The morning staff was much nicer. The breakfast was bananas, granola bars and peanut butter crackers. They had coffee but I didn't try it because it might have been there since the day before.

First room the door lock did work. second room loose floorboards. third room had small black bugs and small tv. website showed a nice breakfast area, now closed and replaced with a banana and granola bar. Due to propane leak one day no hot water water and they did not evacuate the building. Pool had a leak on day 3 and closed rest of stay. Last day a though i had one day left, i was wrong. They took all my stuff out of room and put in storage. Had a switch 2 in room it took a long time to find it, when found the bag and receipt was missing. I finally got most of stuff back had to threaten to call police, lots of hotel in area will choose another one next time.

The only good things about this property were the location and their pool. Everything else needs some work. The checkin process was extremely slow and the staff seemed bothered whenever I had a question. The room was very dirty- our bedding had stains all over it, the mattress itself had stains all over it, the shower wasn’t clean, the countertop by the sink had some brown substance on it. The shower head in the bathroom was so dirty that I wasn’t even comfortable taking a shower. The vent fan in the bathroom was extremely dirty.
