This hotel was even better than we expected. It was challenging finding a decently priced hotel in the finger lakes area. This hotel was reasonably priced, clean and centrally located. The town of Geneva is beautiful with lots of restaurants to choose from. The breakfast was minimal but coffee was good. Only downside is the lobby was quite small. Would definitely stay there again.

Day one, checked in. Front desk worker was friendly but their credit card reader was broken and they had to manually enter the card. Got to our room, noticed the mini fridge was running but the inside was hot. Went to call the front desk for a replacement, but the room phone was broken as well. Went over to look out the window and water started dripping on my head due to a roof leak. I placed a trash can under the the leak and walked to the front desk. We were moved from room 232 to room 216.
Day two we were out all day and returned to our room to find that we were locked out. Both key cards stopped working and once again back to the front desk. The worker apologized and reactivated both keys.
Later that after noon the toilet stopped flushing. I removed the tank lid to find the chain and flush bar rusted, the chain was no longer connected. Rather than making another trip to the front desk I just did a self repair to hold us over.
We paid for queen beds, but both room was NOT queen but fulls. The breakfast was sad, not much offered and the cereal was stale.
The tree line outside the property was full of trash, the side entry security door key access did not work and the door was always open to the public.
We booked for 4 people, all room have only 2 towels... I can keep going on but you get it.

I told the housekeeper to clean my room i had the dont disburse on my room but when i wad leaving my roon i askedvthe housekeeper to clean my room and left a tip in there for him and he said yes i got you and nobody ever came in my room to clean it and the young lady at the front desk i shoed her my room to have a witness to my room not being clean and she offerd me a different room abd ddnt take it cause my room should have be cleaned a ready pk and i will be reporting this to the better i will be reporting this incede n t thst happening

This property is horrific! Filthy doesn’t begin to describe this run-down, dilapidated hotel. I wouldn’t let my dog sleep here. Fluids on walls in the bathroom, uncleaned toilet, clogged shower, spit stains in and around the bathroom sink Dirty bed linens and floor..I would think health/safety violations galore. I showered and rinse our my suitcase and clothes to assure to transfer of bedbugs! Yuck! Should be condemned!

I took off one star because during our 4 night stay, our room was never fully cleaned, beds never changed, etc. Had to ask for additional towels and toilet paper and that was the extent of it. Finally on checkout morning we got a loud knock on the door a few minutes before our 11 am checkout, like “get out!” We were packed and getting ready to leave and that was just rude. I assume it was housekeeping. I usually leave a tip for housekeeping, but not this time. Other than that, the motel is fine. Appreciated the hard boiled eggs in the morning!

Older motel yet renovated with hard floors, mattresses, TVs etc. service oriented and a great variety of breakfast options from waffles, rolls, bagels and juices, etc. Very accommodating. The Day’s Inn of Geneva is conveniently located on the main highway that passes through this municipality in Upstate New York’s Finger Lakes Region. The facility is clean and well-maintained. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast room was adequately stocked and pleasant. There are several practical dining options one can walk to from the hotel including a Chinese buffet and fast food establishments. Downtown Geneva, which is a short drive from the hotel, is a charming area of shops, restaurants and other businesses located in lovingly preserved and restored historic buildings. There are also parks and walkways offering panoramic views of Seneca Lake. We enjoyed at our stay at the Day’s Inn in Geneva.
