The bathroom door was filthy with paint coming off and chipped wood. The mirror wasn't clean. The dispensers were empty of the shower gel and shampoo. Only 3 pillows for a King size bed. They only give a bag for ice without the canister. The bag leaked. Not a place that you want to stay.

The only plus is that pets are allowed. This Red Roof gives the corporate Red Roofs a bad name. No ice machine, no snacks, no coffee maker, rooms have had a bad makeover. No breakfast like corporate Inns. Overall 1 out of 5 is generous!

The room I reserved was not available. They did give us a room with 2 queen size beds instead of the 1 king I reserved. Room was ok. We had to pick up a TV remote from the desk as there was none in the room. The bath towels were little better than a paper towel. The room had bags for an ice bucket, but no bucket, and there was an empty bracket attached to the wall where a smoke detector should have been. The mini fridge did work phenomenally though.

The room was outdated definitely. The issues came more with pure filth of the room. Dirt and cobwebs in every corner. Someone's handprints in the middle of the mirror and I'm not sure what to think of the mystery black goo hanging from the bathroom light. We stayed one night in passing to FL and had it not been midnight when we got there we would of left immediately. We stayed and left very early in the morning.

The bathroom was disgusting. Shower unmaontained but the towels were the worst. The blankets underneath the top cover were stained. One pillow per person... except the pillows were flat. Multiple open rooms yet put some one in the room right next to us who had a loud truck and was in and out all night. Not to mention another lad who showed up at 5 am with his radio blasting. After the loud screaming of profanities next door at 5 am, it was time to wakenup the kods and head home

Loved the history there and the tavern. The fireplace in the lobby was great too. The bar tenders were terrific as well as our waitress. The room was fine but the bathroom toilet was terribly low and difficult to use. The room was cold and we couldn’t adjust temperature. The inn could use a professional decorator. The room was not clean. Towels for use had old stains. One towel looked like it had been previously used.The bathroom faucet was dirty. No hot water in the sink or shower. The comforter in the bed had animal on the top. It was hidden by a coverlet that had old stains. Pets are welcome however there should be rooms set aside for people bringing their pets. I do not sleep in the same bed as my pet and I definitely don't want to sleep in a bed with someone else's.

Safety bar on door missing half of the bar rendering it unusable and I was on the first floor. It left me feeling unsafe. I put the room chair with my suitcase on it in front of the door.

I reserved one room on expedia and I rented another when I got there for my daughter. I went into 117, which was my daughters room and turned on the air and walked out. We went to a family function and came back to the hotel around 1130PM ish. Well, my daughter went into her room with her husband and I didnt see them until the morning. When she came into my room, she was upset. They stripped the beds and there was blood stains or some other kind of stains on the mattress cover and there was MOLD under the bed. When I went to the front office to discuss it with them, the man said well there is 3 layers between that and her skin. I was totally insulted. They would not refund my money even after I showed them the pictures. 0 stars from me.

The clean lobby and the location were good. The room(s) were hot, it was clearly closed up and no air circulated through them for some time. The rooms had not been checked, cleaned well or dusted. The Dog, Cat and mold was so potent that I had a severe allergic asthma attack that almost required a hospital stay. I could go on and on about the lack of responsibility and upkeep of the rooms that were vacant with the air conditioning off in the hot Richmond Hill area. The lack of care and response to the conditions were saddening and then to try and shift blame from one to another was astounding. Although management offered me different rooms and said that housekeeping could come and clean the rooms after 9:30 am; housekeeping began cleaning the vacant rooms on the first floors despite the obvious and vocalized concerns for my health. That is the reason I cancelled the rest of my stay. I reserved four rooms over a four-day period for a hotel but instead I got hotel prices for motel service.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at any hotel establishment!! Rooms were disgustingly filthy. Bed linens had stains and holes in them, showers were nasty, floors weren’t swept, mirrors weren’t clean, microwave and refrigerators were nasty. After having management change us to a “cleaner” room 3 times and refuse to give us a refund, we just gave up. Never again will we be staying at a Red Roof. This experience will be our first and last with this establishment.

If you are in transit and need a place to stay right off the I95, this is a great spot. Their staff is amazing. I met DJ and explained I was towing a trailer with a very expensive car inside, he explained where to park and also explained there is a camera on the trailer. There are a LOT of parking sports in the rear dedicated for large trailers. I saw 18 wheelers back there and it was safe. So if you are traveling with a trailer or large truck etc this is the spot to park. Also there is a Mcdonalds next door so you don't have to drive you trailer around before checkout time to get breakfast. If you want a quick stop off before continuing your trip, this place is great. The absolute most awful hotel rooms. We were 3 couples with 2 rooms, and both rooms were very old and awful. Dirty, cracked, filthy walls, windows were old and filthy, one window had mounds of drywall piled on it, some of the drywall powder was all over the ledge as well as the curtain, the bottom portion of one wall had huge broken chunks missing, flooring boards in one room were all cracked and sticky. And as if this wasnt bad enough, we requested non smoking rooms. The walls are paper thin, bed linens in both rooms were nasty - stained and smelled of smoke, towels were thin and worn, dead bug in one room, live roach in the other. I use better towels at home as cleaning rags. One of the couples were so disgusted, they slept in our SUV. The other couple had what appeared to be blood stain, etc on their sheets. They had to grovel for clean linens, and permission was finally granted to the front desk by owner to provide clean linens. They were removed from another bed. Strange that they had another bed, as I had originally requested a room change and was told they were completely full. I personally covered my bed with my personal clothing to sleep. If it were not late in the evening (11:30 pm) and we did not have 2 toy poodles and 6 adults, we would have turned immediately around, demanded a refund, and found another hotel. Our group arrived at 11:30 pm and anxiously left at 7 without showering. I have photos but for some reason, I cant upload. Anyway, awful experience

Red Ropf inn Richmond Hill is the dirtiest hotel i have ever been to. The first room i was assigned smelled of cigarettes and i left to request a new room before i even got a good look at it. The second also smelled of cigarettes and was so dirty. I wiped the floor with a washcloth and it came up BLACK with filth. The bathtub had cigarette burn marks and was dirty with ashes along the rim and the tub itself. The nightstand had some sort or wet/sticky substance and there was a gum wrapper on the bed. I have never been so disgusted in a hotel room. Hotels.com shoild remove this listing as an option.

Room was trash. 4 of the 5 lights in the room did not work. No toilet paper. Piles of dust and dirt around the bed. Stained bed spreads (multiple). Large holes in the walls.
Ripped curtains. Areas that were plastered were not painted. Air conditioner was rattling and very noisy. I arrived in the PM so i only stayed 1 night and moved to another hotel the next day. I want a refund for the other 5 days.

Coffee packets in room, but no creamer, sugar, or cups
At check-in clerk said breakfast at 7 am. Next morning
clerk said they don't do breakfast. Pointed me toward
McDonalds.
As a result, I have used Expedia for the first and last time. Never again.
I will try to contact Red Roof Corp.

Room wreaked of pot smoke, cigarettes, and the air freshener attempting to cover it up. Bathroom smelled of urine. If I hadn’t been so tired from my drive and already unloaded bags in the room, I wouldn’t have asked to be moved or driven to another hotel. Suspect other rooms may have been the same, based on the guests seen milling about outside. Price was very good, and clerk at desk amiable.
