This is not the Hilton. It is a modest hotel that has an amazing staff especially April.
I am a travel nurse and recommend it for those on a budget or dont like wasting money on hotels. It is very close to downtown and SAVANNAH is the hidden gem of the South!!!!!

This is a modest hotel that is perfectly clean. I am a travel nurse in Savannah and it is 12 miles from downtown located directly off I95. If you want a great place to sleep with a small gym this is your spot. The front desk staff is very kind and helpful. They also allow pets.

Worked great, comfy bad. Guests were relatively quiet although doors still slam. Staff fabulous. Two things, dirt smudges on sheets, (didn’t understand that-were they not changed?) and arm chair needs to be thrown out. It’s so worn out the upholstery is literally shredding off.

Clean hotel, very comfortable king size bed and pillows. Breakfast was typical hotel breakfast with the basics plus a mini waffle maker, sausage patties and powdered mix scrabbled eggs. My only complaints were the shower head should have been replaced ten years ago and the tub/shower in my room didn't drain properly (it finally did twenty minutes after I finished my shower). The bathroom door should open outward so that you don't have to stand behind the toilet to close the door. All easy fixes if they take the time to do them. For the price (under $100 with taxes), it was worth the stay, but only for an overnighter.

Bathroom was not very clean. There was a brown smear on the outside of the toilet that appeared to be dried stool. I did not inspect it closely. The room temperature was fine & the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was very basic. It would be nice if yogurt was added to the choices. The waffle maker worked well. The morning desk attendant was friendly. This was our 2nd visit to this hotel. Not sure that I would return. There are several others to choose from along that strip for a comparable price.

A situation happened within the first 10min I arrived. I literally did not feel safe and requested a refund and I would find another place to stay. Although I received my deposit back I was denied a refund of two nights I was to stay. I may have been there a total of 30min 15min or less was actually in the room itself. Due to paying cash I was denied as well as the manager stating I spent more than 15min in the establishment so therefore I was not owed a refund although the situation that took place to even his employee warranted a refund. I had trip insurance as well and the owner is still denying to refund to the agency and to myself. I would recommend any third party trip agencies to drop this hotel from ever being on their forum.

Surprisingly nice hotel for the relatively low price. Room was clean though quality of finishes like caulking in the bathroom was spotty. There was a fridge and a microwave. The air conditioner worked well. Floor is vinyl, not carpet, which I prefer as it's easier to see that it's clean. Note that there is no elevator - if you're on the second floor, you'll need to be able to carry your luggage up the stairs. Entrances to rooms are outside - motel-style. All in all, I would definitely stay here again.

Moldy, musty smell permeates the entire building. Renovation debris, buckets of chemicals, and old air conditioning units stacked in stairwell, partially blocking emergency exit. (Why wasn’t this mess hauled away in a dumpster?) Meager breakfast options, not replenished when empty. Oatmeal packets available, but no means to add hot water. I didn’t expect luxury for the price, but this is a poor effort. The stairwell-as-trash-storage probably violates a number of fire and health codes.

$100/night deposit required to check in and they hold the deposit forever. I was there a week ago for two days, $200 still showing as “Pending”. Unfortunately there is a trend where this only happens to me when there are Indian owners who actually manage the credit card processing. I never have this issue otherwise. It’s a consistent trend from South Dakota to South Carolina and now Georgia. You guys really need to change your policies. The price is cheapest but the hold in deposit funds feels like extortion. And I’m assuming that’s how you make up for the cheap price. I have another 15 days of stay in Savannah over the next 5 weeks, and I would rather pay the initial $125/night and $25 deposit that’s released next day, than $90/night with a $100 per night deposit that’s held for 10 business days.

Not to bad of a stay!!

Our stay was a good stay. They are clean. The hall could use a little deodorizer, but its not bad. Beds are comfortable. Breakfast not to bad. The only problem we had was my husband went to cook an omlet, and while it was cooking, it turned 9:00. While his food was cooking, she walked over without saying a word and cut the maker off and walked away. But other than that particular part, our stay was good.

It was ok, but the entire building had a strong musty/mildew smell.
The room was clean, but the a/c made a loud noise all night. Thankfully I brought my fan😁.
The tv would not turn off. The cable would go off, but not the television itself. Couldn't unplug it, so left on all night.
The bed was ok, but not great.
The shower was really nice, with good pressure.
This hotel might be ok for 1 night, but only if you can get past the smell, and can tolerate a noisy a/c? I couldn't stand the smell, so knowing that, I personally would not stay here again.

Initially is was a good start until after we got into the rooms. For one room, the toilet wouldn't flush.. mentioned it to front desk 3 times and it was still not fixed. And then the shower ended up clogging to where it drained super slow and you were basically standing in your own filth..
Mentioned it again after checking out early. The lady just gave us a card and told us to call the manager.

Putting down $100 deposit on top of the room payments is a bit much for the quality you get.

Our stay at this hotel would have been 5 stars except that the toilet didn't flush correctly. The beds were comfortable, the room clean and breakfast was fabulous, but this overshadowed our whole stay. We reported it to the front desk clerk and was told after returning from dinner that it had been plunged when it still wasn't working correctly. We were then given a plunger and gloves and attempted to rectify the situation. Unfortunately nothing worked and we were told no other rooms were available. My family members had to use the restroom in the lobby during our stay. I was told the manager would call. He didn't. Corporate also did not give a satisfactory resolution to our situation. Sadly, staying at a rustic campground might have been a better experience.

My two grandchildren (11 & 12 years old) were still asleep before 9am today, so I went downstairs to get them some breakfast. Sausage patties & mini muffins. A female employee approached me & asked if I was taking food to the room. I advised yes. She asked if I could read & pointed up to a printed sign above my head (I'm 5'10\") on the wall. Why the hell would I look UP on a wall for anything?! Due to her tone, I advised her that my grandchildren are accustomed to eating at a table at home & do the same when they are out. She said, \"What if they make a mess? Someone would have to clean it up.\" Which led me to doubt the \"cleanliness\" of ANYTHING in the building, since \"they\" don't want to clean up. AND if you can't eat BREAKFAST in the rooms, take the MICROWAVES and REFRIGERATORS out of all rooms. I guess Ms. Einstein didn't think that they might be used when guests bring back leftover dinner or lunch! But I guess those meals are okay to eat in a room? Or maybe she has an issue with black people.... Again, tone is telling. She got the right one today lol. I'm sending an insane number of letters & emails everywhere about HER, and the nonsensical \"policy.\"

This place was a stop onto our main destination. It was a good deal and convenient since it’s super close to 95. There is a humid smell to the place which I know can occur when it’s hot and it’s been raining but that’s usually outside or when you enter the lobby. The smell continued in the hallway and slightly into our room. I can see that they are fixing up this place and I like that. The staff was very pleasant and checking in was easy. There are areas that are furnished with new furniture and the walls seemed freshly painted. The cleaning staff does a thorough job because it’s obvious the management cares about neatness and cleanliness. There are areas that look old and damaged but I imagine it’s on the “to do” list. The simple workout area was closed but it was nice to see there was an area to do some simple exercising. I would definitely come back for a night or two. I’m not sure if I could handle the musty smell longer than that. It’s a pleasant place to stay in other than that.

The hotel needs a major cleaning. Even though it ‘looks’ like there’s been a bit of a renovation, it was just for aesthetics. The hallways smell of mildew, the carpets are dirty and dingy, and the bathroom smelled of mold and we’re just dirty in general. The grout was completely turned brown and black with time and water buildup.

Second floor smelled musty or had a weird watered down minty smell. Beds were not comfortable at all (literally had limbs go numb). Definitely hear the noise from adjacent rooms. The tub plug kept getting plugged and I tried many times to figure out how to keep it up so it could drain, but nothing worked so I showered in a pool of water. Breakfast was mid. Staff were all welcoming and friendly, they were not the problem. I think the property needs some TLC.

Clean, comfortable room and big comfortable King sized bed. Shower needs better water pressure, it's like a sprinkle of rain, no pressure and showerhead isn't adjustable. Breakfast was very minimal, gravy and biscuits were served but they were all but gone, not enough to make a meal for two adults. Overall good experience for an overnight stopover.

The handicap room had grab bars and elevated toilet. The shower was stub/ shower combo, with multiple grab bars and detachable shower head. The tub made it difficult to get in and out but the bars helped. The mattress was a comfort hardness but to hard for me. Breakfast was good with make your own waffles. There were scrambled eggs which were not dry from being out in the warmer to long. There are places in walking distance for meals too. Gas stations are near by and it off the highway 95. You don’t hear the traffic

Very unfriendly and unwilling to accommodate. My room was missing an iron! The front desk person did not care and told me to wait 1.5 hrs until housekeeping arrived. The rooms next to me were empty. His response was “so, there’s nothing he could do.” It wasn’t until I went back after going back to my humid room that I demanded the property manager’s info. Another staff member heard my complaint then went next door to my room and retrieved an iron and she was friendly and apologetic. I had an important event in an hour. He did not care. Check in was unfriendly as well.
