Lovely stay, clean and modern room, good shower. Plenty of choice on the breakfast and dinner buffets. Lots of rooms by pools but think it would be packed in the summer months. Friendly staff.

Nice one night stay

Only stayed here one night prior to going to the airport for an early flight the next day. Man on reception was helpful and gave us all relevant information. Apartment was very nice and spacious. Swimming pools were large and clean. Free parking. Our only complaint was that you could not get any food between 5.30 pm (when snack bar closed) and 7.30 pm (when dining room opened)! Can’t comment on breakfast as we had not booked due to leaving early.

The hotel was beautiful. Very good sound proofing between rooms. The pools appeared clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We chose the all-inclusive option, which was a good value, but the food was marginal. There were several options at each meal which was nice, but there wasn't anything at all that I would describe as \"delicious.\" Many items seemed \"cheap.\" For example, the orange juice didn't taste like orange juice, it tasted like orange drink. It seemed like it was just orange flavored. Some of the ice cream flavors, tasted like the \"store brands\" or \"no-name brands,\" so they were okay but I wouldn't describe them as good. Several of the deserts seemed like they came out of a plastic wrapper like the type that have a 5-year shelf life. Most of the food was good enough, just not great. The only other downside for me was that the cafeteria was almost entirely self-serve, and I didn't see a single hand sanitizer stand/station anywhere. It freaked me out a bit since hundreds of people were touching the serving utensils and there was nowhere to sanitize my hands after also touching them. Also, there were loaves of French bread and baguettes offered, and I saw one woman just grab the loaf with her bare hand, cut off a chunk and leave the rest.

We had a lovely holiday. We particularly liked the quieter pool area and the beach near by.
Staff was helpfull and rooms was bigger than expected. One thing that let the experience down was the dining. Plates and glasses were dirty and restaurant feelt more like a school canteen. We payed for all inclusive but opted to eat out a few meals to have a over all better experience. If they sort food quality and cleanliness in restaurants it would be much better. Over all oki.

Everything you’d want! Cheap and cheerful all inclusive with actual decent food and variety! Pool area lovely rooms spacious and clean. Entertainment looked fun and thought out plus day time activities. Staff friendly and welcoming - would stay again and recommend but you need a car to get around!

Welcomed by judgemental reception staff, relatively out dated facilities and very bland buffet and other food options. Could only see this working if you’re only really planning on sleeping there. My toddler got several cuts on her feet, seems the pool was not safest. Saw others with cuts too.

Lovely place to stay on a Bed and. Breakfast basis. There aren’t any restaurants close by so we did spend a bit on taxis to next resort of Cala En Porta. Good breakfast and catered for all including those with dietary requirements. 3 large pools although it would have been nice if one pool disallowed ball games,lilos and inflatables so you can have a proper swim. No restriction on when pools are open and closed so people were swimming late at night. We had a quiet room and happy with the lay out. Nice drinks - lovely staff and not over priced

We have found coca roach in the room when we arrived on the first day. The room was a bit stinky, like in an old house. Furniture was quite outdated, however bed was fine.
Breakfast ok, nothing special.
Hotel is quite far from the most beautiful areas of the island.
Beach in the village is very small and not organized.

Once we arrived at our room, we noticed that one of the towels was dirty and the garbage can in the kitchen was not emptied yet. The phone and tv were not working. As soon as I mentioned it to the front desk, they helped us with the towel and the bin and the following day with the tv but the phone was never fixed. By preference, we consider that this hotel has to remove the small soap bars and include liquid hand soap for the vanity instead. The menu at the place did not offer the typical food from Menorca. Luckily we did not purchase the all inclusive option because we were able to drive to nearby cities to eat great. One of our great decisions was to rent a car so we can go around the island to know the different attractions the island has to offer. The service desk personal were so eager to work out complaints. We would pay more for another place should we decide to comeback to Menorca which has a lot to offer to the tourist.

We really enjoyed our stay at Grupotel Mar de Menorca for our family vacations with our 1 year old baby. The room was basic but clean and comfortable, there are parking spots close to the rooms, the pool area and playground was super nice, and the breakfast and dinner buffet was good and diverse. We could find everything for our baby: even though the baby crib was not ready in our room despite my request for one, they provided one pretty quickly, and there were high-chairs at the restaurant. The staff was also very nice and welcoming. And there is a supermarket and a beach just next to the hotel. The only negative point if I have to find one is the music going on all evening, but it was ok we couldn't hear it inside the room.

The perfect place for a relaxing few days in Menorca. The pool area is stunning, rooms are the perfect size and there was so much choice in the buffet. Overall a fantastic place. The only negative I have is the fact it’s impossible to read by the main pool as they play music all day and at times, it can be quite loud.

Room was spacious and and clean, there were a few ants on the floor near the window but nothing to worry about. I had a room without a balcony, and the air conditioner was not working, as I was only staying a few days it didn’t bother me.

This is a lovely hotel, which was perfect for my first family holiday. From the start the front desk were very welcoming and even upgraded my room, which helped us as a young family. The food options were fantastic. We could eat as healthy or unhealthy as we wanted and the chefs/servers were very friendly. All the staff in the restaurant were very happy. There are two nice pools, one quiet pool for those that wanted to relax. We stayed around the bigger pool, which had shallow ends for our children and a deeper part in case we wanted a swim. They big pool also had music and an Animación team, running regular games for adults and children. They run kids clubs for several hours a day for 4yr olds and above. This was great for us to leave our 4yr old for a few hours break!! The evening entertainment was good fun too and no pressure also.

Our suggestion for improvement would be to have fresh smoothies made at meal times and to have tea and coffee in the dining room at lunchtime and dinner.

We would definitely recommend this hotel to families and couples.

Has potential but average property and needs TLC. Food was really disappointing and even though you don't expect high level cuisine from an all-inclusive, it was really on the poor side with basic options mostly overcooked or re-used.

Housekeeping only came once and we were told we would be charged to refresh/change the pools towels. We asked for this once during an 1 week stay and thought this was a particular stingy policy.

All in all, average hotel, location, food. Staff was friendly, nice as always.

Overall, everything was good! Place was clean and tidy and the pools were fabulous and always plenty of sunbeds absolutely no need to play the lounger/towels game at all. Beds were comfortable (pillows not so much). Can’t comment on food as we didn’t take out a package although drinks were very reasonably priced!

The main disappointment, for us, was the ‘kitchen’ - we booked this as we wanted to cater for ourselves and to say that the supplies were minimal is a understatement - 2 knives, 2 forks, 2 spoons/teaspoons and a bread knife plus a couple of large plastic spoons! No kitchen knife or any other cooking implements which made
preparing food challenging - it was in a small corner and lighting above hob (2 rings) didn’t work. I presume that they don’t really want to encourage you to cater fir yourself! The living room ‘sofas’ were essentially two single beds which would have been comfortable to sleep on but not for sitting on!

The beach is barely a beach to be honest so we were glad we hired a car and there was no literature in the room with any information about what hotel offered or places to go.

All in all we had a good week although I think for a couple we might have been better looking for something a bit quieter and better equipped for self catering.

Lovely hotel. Room was clean and overall grounds and pool were lovely and well maintained. A few little things that were slightly inconvenient- Only one real bar serving drinks for entertainment and pool, queues could be quite long. The hotel is out on its own, small shop on site. Majority of staff were lovely and really helpful. Would recommend heading to Son Bou beach, bus to Mahón on then change to Son Bou. The beach was beautiful and a few bars and restaurants that were worth visiting- recommend buying a cheap €12 umbrella to have a spot in the shade. Great holiday, nice hotel and great weather.

Es Canutells has a small beach and one restaurant so if you are not all inclusive (we prefer not to be), there is nowhere near enough to walk to in the evening and a car is essential.

We knew going in that it was Grupotel so we shouldn’t expect anything special, but even with those low expectations we were disappointed with the experience. The property itself is fine. It has tennis courts and pools and a children’s play area that are all good. The room is fine—the beds are uncomfortable and the water is undrinkable, but it is spacious and the showers have good pressure and hot water.

The customer service is a weak spot. They do not believe in “do not disturb signs,” which means cleaning staff are put in the terrible position of having to guess whether you’re in there and end up coming in at inopportune times. In keeping with Grupotel’s Ryanair-like tendencies, they will nickel and dime you for everything they can if you don’t do full board. You want to use the pool table? Pay up. You need a glass of water? Two euros per glass.

Finally, there’s the location. Saying the hotel is near any kind of beach is a stretch at best. There is a harbor you can swim in and a mulch pit that may meet the technical definition of a beach but is far from a Menorca-quality experience. If you have a car, you can drive to some other beaches 1 15 minutes away. Stay near San Buo instead.

Overall, the hotel is fine. Know what you’re getting yourself into up front and you might have a good experience. If you’re willing to gamble your vacation time on a mid-quality hotel that is passable, poorly located, and not memorable, this is the spot for you.

Hotel is lovely, but isolated. Nothing to do of an evening if you wanted to take a walk into a village etc as there isn't one.
The is a small cove, not a beach. which is not accessible if you are disabled due to the long and steep walk down and up again.
This is an excellent place to take a young family with loads going on for children of all ages. Not so much for couples or young people.
If you want to totally get away from everything, not do anything or go anywhere, this is the place for you. But you do have to not be bothered by the constant sound of screaming children

Booked for 1 night before our flight home, following 1 week in a villa on the island. Rooms - tired and lacking in self catering facilities, but not a problem for our short stay. Pool area good although water quality of pool was suspect. Food and drink plentiful although not the same standard/taste as local / home cooked food. Hotel facilities otherwise were good. Local beach was small and sea full of litter. On this basis would probably not return

L'hotel est très beau. Les chambres sont confortables et propres, le personnel très sympathique. L'espace aquatique, les activités et animations proposées sont plutôt chouettes.
Points négatifs : c'était la dernière semaine avant la fermeture et clairement ça se sentait. De moins en moins de diversité au buffet et la salle de jeux pour enfants a été vidée avant la fin de la semaine ce qui est dommage pour un établissement familial. Par ailleurs, l'hôtel n'offre pas de possibilité de lunch box quand on veut partir à la journée alors qu'on est en all inclusive. C'est dommage.

L’hébergement était très propre et fonctionnel. La piscine sympa.
Cependant, la qualité de la nourriture était très médiocre. Peu de choix dans les plats chauds, on retrouvait les mêmes plats le midi et le soir.
Le petit-déjeuner était très limité : pain dur et rassis, jambon très gras et bas de gamme.
Les fruits étaient soit périmés ( pastèque, ananas), soit durs ( kiwi)
Les activités proposées sur le tableau d’affichage n’avaient pas toujours lieu (tables de ping-pong cassées, par exemple). Peu de divertissements proposés pour les enfants comme pour les adultes.
Aucun panier-repas n’était proposé en formule all inclusive pour les personnes s’absentant le midi.
De plus l'hotel fermant a la fin de la semaine, le personnel a enlevé les jeux ds la salle de jeux des enfants, fermés les billets. Bref l'impression d'être mis a la porte.

Das Essen ist sehr einfach und wenig ansprechend. Alles andere war recht schön. Das Personal ist sehr nett. Die Anlage ist gepflegt, die nur 2stöckigen Gebäude passen ins Landschaftsbild. Das Appartement ist großzügig. In unserem Bad roch es meist abends etwas streng - vermutlich wurde der Sifon der Dusche durch die Zimmer über uns leer gesogen...

Une bonne adresse pour visiter l'est de Minorque.

Hôtel confortable.
Grande chambre et grande salle de bain (à noter, notre chambre avait une mauvaise odeur, évacuation ? Elle nous a été changée pour une un peu plus grande. Donc, parfait)
Petit déjeuner et dîner buffets copieux, variés et bon (malgré les critiques que je pense assez sévères...)
Belles piscines.
La chambre était calme.
À noter, contrairement à ce qui est annoncé, les boissons sont comprises dans les repas...sauf si, bien sûr, vous souhaitez acheter une bouteille de vin.

En líneas generales todo correcto dentro de lo que es un 3 estrellas..por destacar piscinas y nonas verdes muy cuidadas, apartamentos correctos con todo tipo de detalles .tele plasmas, zona cocina, camas y almohadas bien...Por parte negativa la animación y buffet , primero la animación monótona y todo para guiris y los españoles entiendo que ninguno quiera quedarse..Menos en español, todos los idiomas... Buffet de lo más normalito tirando mediocre bajo y repetitivo

Todo muy bien en líneas generales. El único inconveniente es que la insonorización es un poco escasa. Te enterabas al momento de mover cosas en caso del personal de limpieza al realizar el mantenimiento. Todo lo demás bien. Zona tranquila

Très bon séjour en famille dans cet hôtel
Cadre super et chambres confortables
Propreté irréprochable
Personnel gentil et animation au top tout au long de la journée !
Plats délicieux que ce soit au petit dej ou repas !

Seul bémol , la plage attenante est petite et n’est pas si belle que les autres criques minorquines …. et son accès reste compliqué avec des enfants…. Dommage

Sehr nettes und engagiertes Personal
Immer sehr viel Auswahl an Essen, Geschirr war nicht immer ganz sauber
Pools waren sehr angenehm, haben auch zu jeder Tageszeit eine Liege bekommen, egal ob Sonne oder Schatten
Weg zum Strand war auch nicht weit
Insgesamt war es ein sehr schöner Urlaub

Gastronomisches Angebot ausgiebig und vielfältig. Apartments groß, sauber, ruhig. Die Umgebung war sehr schön, mit einer schönen Natur, nahegelegener Bucht auch geeignet zum schwimmen und schnorcheln. Falls ein Interesse an der Erkundung der Insel besteht, würde ich weiteren Besuchern einen Mietwagen sehr ans Herz legen.

Super séjour !

Super sejour comme en juin 2024. Tres bon accueil, equipe au top, residence au calme, animations pour enfants, piscines super et petite crique a 5mn où il n'y a jamais personne. On reviendra en 2026 !

Le complexe est pas mal mais nous avons accumulé les problèmes : la clim ne marchait pas dans la première chambre qui était vraiment très belle / grande / propre , on nous a changé de chambre pour les autres nuits et ça a été la cata : appartement beaucoup plus petit qui donnait sur la route, présence de cafards ++ , salle de bain délabrée, chasse d’eau en panne, clim du salon ne marchait pas … j’ai passé tous les jours beaucoup de temps à la réception pour régler tous ces problèmes…
Hormis cela, l’hôtel est bien si on aime les gros complexes hôteliers avec tous les services qui vont avec : animations toute la journée, all inclusive, buffet, etc
Niveau restauration: c’était pas terrible mais avec le choix proposé on trouve toujours quelque chose à manger …
Le personnel quand à lui était très agréable, que ce soit à la réception ou ailleurs

Séjour décevant ,clim qui fait un bruit de tracteur et ne fonctionne pas ,malgré le fait de l'avoir signalé par deux fois aucunes intervention ou prise d'initiative pour nous installer dans de meilleurs conditions .
Repas désastreux la qualités et cuisiniers pas a la hauteur d'un soit disant 4 étoiles.

Obligé d'aller manger a l'extérieur malgré notre forfait demi pension.
Une fois nous a suffit..

Cafards géants dans l'appartement, qui grimpaient sur les murs la nuit.
Buffet de qualité médiocre.
Appartement en rez de jardin ouvert donc dangereux avec un petit de moins de 2 ans qui se sauvent.

Jolies piscines, jeux pour enfants, accueil agréable.
