I stayed here in June for a 3 night break and have just repeated the beautiful experience 7th to 10th August.
This accommodation is perfect. The staff are really helpful. On my previous visit in June, I didn't collect my deposit for the hairdryer and the lovely girl on the reception gave it to me as she remembered me.
The apartments are lovely. The kitchen is a little tired but its functional.
Everything else is perfect.
The beds are so comfortable. The air conditioning is really powerful and has some sort of air freshener in it so the apartment smells lovely.
The patio furniture is lovely..
The little resort has everything you need and a beautiful beach.
The Aire Restaurant is the best we found, right on the beach.
Everything is just wonferful and I will always stay here when I visit Menorca.

Avoid it. We notified the reception saying we would arrive at 11pm. They said fine door will be open and key inside. When we arrived the door was locked, no key available and no one was answering the phone. Nice to have to find a hotel at midnight with wife and two kids. Avoid it at every cost.

The place is nice but they have a perfume concentrate installed in the ac that was horrible, the perfume smell was so bad we had to turn off ac and open all doors and windows, I’ve understood that they will change to a milder smell but I don’t get why you ever want perfumed apartments. One ac did not work and the beds are very noisy. Aside from that it is a nice place, clean, great pool and close to a nice beach

Apartments Need Updating

Stayed at the apartments in July for a few days - we arrived late evening and found details of our room on the board - when we found our apartment we found that the apartment was very date inside - the air conditioning obviously had issues as there was extra units in the rooms. we tried using both but neither of them were great and the room was therefore very warm making it hard to get a comfortable nights sleep .Unless i see that these apartments have been refurbished I think i would opt for Isla de aire apartments or hotel xaloc playa in the future, the only positive i can say was that the pool area was very good though not enough sunbeds for the guests that were staying !

My stay wasn’t good, there was no air conditioning, it was broken, we had maintenance workers turn up unannounced, no option of another room was available apparently, and my two kids cut their feet in the children’s pool. The tv had blue lines burnt into the screen, the electrical socket by the tv was dangerously loose, and the wall light in the bedroom kept flickering on and off.

The pool side showers were out of order which was a shame.
Air conditioning in the main living area of the property which was effective but only a portable noisy air con unit in one bedroom, other bedroom only had a fan.
The cafe bar on site was closed so no food or drink facility by the pool as the website still shows pictures of this open. This was a shame.
Staff were very helpful, life guard by the pool from 10-6 daily.
No smoking food or drink by the pool which kept it very clean.
Pool was rarely over crowded are there were usually sun beds and parasols available.
Kitchen offers limited facilities, two ring jobs, one saucepan one frying pan.
Bedrooms were nicely decorated and clean.

**Review of Bimbolla Apartaments**

We only stayed at Bimbolla Apartaments for one night as we missed our return flight due to illness. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, managing to fit us in at late notice, which we greatly appreciated.

The pool was fantastic, providing a great place for our family of four to relax and unwind. Additionally, the cost was very affordable, making it a budget-friendly option for a last-minute stay.

While the apartments could benefit from a refurb, this is reflected in the low cost. Overall, our stay was pleasant and perfectly suited our short-term needs.

Good location within a short walking distance to the beach. Requires updating as it looks like it’s never been updated since opened 24 years ago. Clean but requires a deep clean could see dirt in shower holder and when lifting handle of taps. Spacious in all rooms. Has only small sized cups and glasses. Price is low which is expected for the condition of the apartment. Balcony has table and chairs and a clothes horse which is very handy. Pool was lovely with sun beds and umbrellas.

The info on these apartments is out of date. There is no bar or restaurant open on site - it closed down a year ago. There is no bar or restaurant nearby. You have to hike up and down a very steep hill from the apartments to get to the restaurants and the beach. Definitely need a hire car if you're staying here. Nice area with good beach.

I had a great stay at Bimbolla Apartments. Angela G made the stay excellent by checking me in late in the evening and also booking my trip to the South Coast. Angela also made timely reservations for my taxi back to airport.

Apartments are clean, safe, and has a restaurant, AC, large size, two balconies, kitchen, working fridge, TV. Two pools, beautiful surroundings! Location is close to a beach, bus stop.

Nice appartments with great pool

Nice appartments with a great pool and resturant. The breakfast was great but we didn't try the lunch / dinner, although it looked good. The beds weren't the most comfortable and the appartments didn't get cleaned whilst we were there (3 days). Good location just a short 5 min walk to the beach and good access to surrounding area with a bus stop 2 mins down the road.

We have stayed at bimbolla apartments previously named prima sud four times before .Needs a bit of improvement in areas but nothing to stop us from coming back .We had a nice two bedroom apartment which was clean but no towel change after 3 days which was stated .Breakfast buffet was adequate would have liked to seen pancakes and another choice of cereal other than that it was fine .Nice to see the original lady on the hot plate counter at breakfast.Lunch and dinner not so good we paid half board but ending up eating out as has a car so we found some lovely places to eat .I would say for the price just book B&B.

We have been to Bimbola before and always enjoy the experience. The weather was wonderful but the pool was freezing. We are getting older and found the steps and slopes necessary to access our apartment quite gruelling. Buffet breakfast for 7 euros was excellent.

Staff were beyond helpful. Super friendly, and even happy for me to practice Spanish with them. Lovely pool - nice and long, with perfect depth.
Had perhaps the best club sandwich I have ever come across - highly recommend an order.
Convenience wise, it is a mere 6-10min walk to the beach and a cluster of great restaurants (also looking over the beach).
Definitely will be coming back.

Ultimately we had a lovely stay at Bimbolla Apartments, but it was marred by the fact that the first property we were given was unacceptably damp and the entire apartment was impregnated with the smell of it. even plastic fittings had mildew/mould on them and my daughters pillow had mildew on it presumably from being stored there, the aircon didn't work and the patio door wasn't secure. We were moved, but it took up a large portion of the first day which on a 3 day break is significant. We had to keep going up the hill to reception to see if cleaners had finished and to get the lock fixed when they were, which was tiring on no sleep (we didn't sleep because of the damp smell and lack of air con in the first apartment). The second apartment which was upstairs was better, but we could tell things had been sprayed to overrule the damp smell. It kept it at bay for a couple of days, but it started creeping in by the end.
The apartments are nice, but very tired in terms of decoration and in my opinion need an overhall because all the bedroom and kitchen cupboards smell damp and there is evidence of damp/humidty in other bits of the furniture. Our whole work top was de-laminating in the kitchen for example.
On the other hand, it's in a great location, the pools are lovely (if a bit cold for me), the staff are really nice and it has a pleasant atmosphere. I wouldn't hesitate to go back if they re-furbed and with low expectations and a cheap nightly rate they're not bad as they are.

The setting of Bimbolla Apartments is lovely. The pool area is is in a lovely setting with plenty of beds and sun parasols. Unfortunately the only way to access the resort is via a steep hill and then steps.
However we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Punta Prima and will be returning in April 2023.

The property is well located near the beach and shops/restaurants, the swimming pool area is very pleasant and the general appearance of the property is lovely with trees / plants / flowers. The inside of the apartment is a bit tired although totally adequate. Angela, the receptionist was friendly and knowledgeable. She was so lovely.

Lovely location for a couples holiday

We absolutely loved the area, the apartments are a 5 minute walk from restaurants beach and shops so in great location perfect for a relaxing holiday.
The apartment was comfortable and suited our needs for a 2 night stay, however there was a strong smell of air freshener when we arrived and once it had gone the apartment did smell a little foisty. The food was very mediocre but we ate out in the local area and had amazing meals both nights.
Overall we enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere at the accommodation, the lovely pool area but for us the frosted glasses at the bar were our favourite thing

Lets start by saying Bimbolla Apartments are nicely set out, the size is reasonable and the location lovely. However, its not well run, the apartments are tired (just need a little lova and care and they would be easily returned to standard) and fare warning to all - the pool is PUBLIC - yes correct, you do not need to be a guest to use the pool. indeed they promote that visitors who eat or use the bar (for a minimum Euro5 spend - talk about a low bar!) can spend the day and use the pool and facilities...... Never, at any time except at say a beach club or such, have I encoutered this. When I compained that it was too busy one day and that also there were guests (a large group of young men)

Just up the hill from beach. Supermarket and good places to eat close. Apartments large and have all you need. Large balcony facing pool. Pool not heated but never busy. Staff can't do enough to help, and food amazing. We were on half board...
Entertainment limited, but if you want a peaceful well run place with wonderful staff and food... Look no further.
Highly recommended, and would book again.

Great value but you get what you pay for

We were unfortunate enough to come in UK school holidays which made our apartment next to the swimming pool very noisy during the day. People bagged sun loungers and there was a shortage of umbrellas. The 2 bed apartment was spotless, spacious and was cleaned three times during our stay, but the sheets and towels were unbelievably thin. The towels did not really dry you. I complained twice about the lack of really hot water - it was mostly lukewarm - and their answer was to run all the taps for 10 minutes as there was an air lock (!) I was not keen to do this as firstly it didn't work and secondly I was uneasy about water shortages on the island. We could have had an umbrella or sunshade on the balcony as it had the sun all day. The nearest small supermarket was 2 minutes from our apartment and the beach and restaurants were about 6 minutes away.

A relaxing week to recharge my battery of life. Primasud is absolutely beautiful, and its close proximity to the beach made it perfect for me. The ambience surrounding these beautiful apartments are absolutely breath taking.Punta prima is also a very pretty area, better than Mahon in my opinion. The only problem I had with the hotel is that my room flooded when there was heavy rain and wind one night. The next day I was not able to use the cooker as water got into the electrics. Management need to sort out this problem of flooding, for this is not a new problem, as I read a previous review where there was a problem with flooding before.

good for the money

its good value for money and the apartment was spacious enough, however we didnt realize it had no air conditioning. lucky for us the weather was cool but i wouldnt like it in the height of summer. also the beds and bed linen are really well past their best and need replacing. punta prima is a bit like \"blackpool\" so deceide beforehand if that is what u want or not ! however the complex was better than anything else that we saw for that price, so with that in mind i would recommend it x

j'ai passé 14 jours dans cet hôtel, très bien situé : mer et centre ville à deux pas. Le personnel a été particulièrement accueillant et disponible.
Quelques points mériteraient néanmoins d'être améliorés pour rendre le séjour plus confortable. La cuisine gagnerait a être modernisée, la chambre serait plus agréable avec un grand lit et les armoires manquent de rangement. Enfin le ménage n'a été effectué qu'une seule fois durant mes deux semaines de séjour.
En résumé, un hôtel bien placé avec une équipe chaleureuse mais qui aurait besoin de quelques améliorations côté équipements et entretien.
Le plus : la piscine et le jardin sont très bien entretenus. Le chant des oiseaux le matin est un plaisir au réveil

Eine sehr schöne Unterkunft, etwas am Rande gelegen, aber trotzdem alles gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Eine optisch wunderbar angelegte Poollandschaft bringt selbst einen Meerliebhaber dazu, am Pool zu bleiben. Wir haben sehr schöne Tage verbracht.

La struttura è comoda, accogliente e pulita, anche se manca un po' di manutenzione. Comodi e grandi i letti. Insufficienti invece le dotazioni della cucina: pochissime stoviglie e nessuna \"dotazione\" quale olio, sale o simili. La piscina è bella e pulita, e molto bella anche la spiaggia vicina (due minuti a piedi). Comodi i supermercati nelle vicinanze, e a prezzi accessibili. Non ci siamo trovati molto bene con la reception: abbiamo aspettato parecchio che l'appartamento fosse pronto, non hanno risolto il problema del wi-fi del nostro appartamento e la cifra chiesta per il noleggio di due ombrelloni usati è eccessiva. In complesso però esperienza positiva, il posto ci è piaciuto molto. Torneremo.

The location is great, you can walk to punta prima, and Binibeca is only 10 minutes away by car. The supermarket is across the street and open until 10 pm. The staff was awesome, they gave me great tips on what to do on a rainy day.

Sadly the wifi started failing after a few days we were there, and I found out this is a known issue , so it would be nice to fix it once and for all with something like StarLink, that doesn't depend on the infrastructure of the island. Also, it would be nice to have house keeping more often.

Other than that, great place, awesome staff, I will probably come back : )

Appartement propre mais vétuste qui meriterait une grosse renovation.
La cuisine est tres faiblement équipée, la climatisation fonctionne mais bruyante dans la chambre. Les huisseries exterieures tout comme les portes de placards sont tres fatiguées.
La piscine bien qu'agréable reste bruyante. Des parasols supplémentaires seraient les bienvenus.
Plus de restauration malgré ce qui nous avait été vendu.

The apartment is nice, but a little outdated. The pool is great for children. Unfortunately, the apartment is not very well equipped. Three spoons for four people are not enough. The kitchenette is also very spartan. The kitchen knives were broken, the first was replaced, the second unfortunately not.

Ce centre de vacances pourrait être très sympa car belle piscine mais pas de restaurant, de bar depuis cette année. Pas d’ambiance, logement mal équipé en vaisselle par exemple et climatisation non fonctionnelle dans le séjour. Extérieur pas très entretenu même si endroit très propre.

Il residence è tranquillo e silenzioso, la posizione comoda perché in 5 minuti si arriva a piedi a supermarket, bar e ristorantini del lungomare e si raggiunge anche una spiaggia di sabbia.
Gli appartamenti sono spaziosi, ognuno con una piccola veranda con tavolino e sedie. L’arredamento è datato e in condizioni discrete e sinceramente avrebbero bisogno di essere rinnovati. Il bagno è vecchio e la cucina è poco attrezzata, tant’è che se avessimo cucinato in casa avremmo dovuto comprare degli utensili.
Sicuramente da rivedere la pulizia delle stanze…tende molto sporche, pensili e stoviglie appiccicose e infatti ho comprato i prodotti necessari per ripulire tutto. La prima sera, abbiamo trovato la federa di un cuscino e le lenzuola del letto macchiate e l’indomani lo abbiamo fatto presente alla reception, sono intervenuti subito cambiandocele, ma non ritengo che debba essere il cliente a dover fare le richieste. Se pago, tutto deve essere quantomeno pulito.
Anche il bidè si muoveva e scendeva l’acqua dal tubo, sono intervenuti mettendo un po' di stucco, ma non hanno risolto completamente.
Cambio asciugamani ogni 3 giorni e lenzuola ogni 7 giorni.
Bar e ristorante non attivi.
La reception apre alle 10.00 e chiude alle 18.00, il personale è gentile e disponibile, specialmente Angela la quale è l’unica che parla italiano. Il resto parla solo spagnolo, contrariamente a quanto indicato nelle informazioni

Nous avons donc pris notre petit déjeuner à l’appartement et nos repas au restaurant Green Garden, chez Alberto. Appartement juste pour dormir sans grand confort

Nous venions passer quelques jours à Sant-Lluis mais à refaire nous ne choisirons pas cet hôtel.
Humidité très présente avec traces de moisissures dans la salle de bain, le linge qui ne sèche jamais.
Toiles d'araignée présentent dans le logement.
Lors de notre arrivée jour de pluie, présence d'eau en bonne quantité vers la porte vitrée de la chambre.
Réceptionniste qui ne tient pas compte de nos remarques concernant le bruit des locataires du dessus, le volet qui tape durant toute la soirée et la nuit, technicien de l'hôtel qui perce dès 8 heures 15 et qui taille les fleurs à côté de notre terrasse.

Points positifs : appartement fonctionnel juste pour dormir, localisation car proche des centres d'intérêts.

EL HOTEL EN SI ES UN POCO ANTICUADO,NO HABIA AIRE EN UNA DE LAS 4 HABITACIONES, Y NO NOS DIERON SOLUCION, NI NOS DEJARON UN VENTILADOR, NOS DIJERON QUE SE HABIA ROTO EN ESE MOMENTO Y SOLICTAMOS CAMBIO DE HABITACION Y NO LO HICIERON YA QUE DECIAN QUE ESTABA LLENO, ES DEPLORANTE QUE PASE ESTO Y CON LOS PRECIOS QUE HAY AHORA ,AL MENOS TENDRIAN QUE TENER ALGUNA HABITACION PARA ESTOS CASOS,ESTO SOLO LE PASA A UN ESPAÑOL,YA QUE DESPUES LLEGARON MAS GENTE Y LES DIERON HABITACION CON TODAS LAS COMODIDADES
