Apart from the bed that wasn’t soft. The apartment was really good. We got I amazing apartment in front of swimming pool and amazing sea view. A really relaxing place. They have many activities. I love it. The days we stay it was possible to see beautiful sunrise and sunset

There is no reception to the property at the site. It is a 5 min walk away from the property with a different name. This is a cheaper sub rental place of Hyatt group. Lot of the photos are from Hyatt hotel. No instructions on check in about where to go for check in. I was walking around the units to see the reception. No signs or anything to help you. Finally the locals helped me with it. The unit is ok. Was booked for 2 adults and 2 kids. Got one queen size bed amd no other bed. End up sleeping of sofa (not sofa bed, a proper sofa!)

Be aware of this - The property does NOT have aor conditioner or fans - It is mid sumer and we were melting. It is incredible that a 3 start \"hotel/property\" does not include a/c. We had most terrible 3 nights ever. Also the front desk is not open/available 24 hours as they say on their info page. Never again.

Great being part of a larger hotel complex, but away from the crowds in our own smaller complex. We had a 180 degree view of the sea - amazing. Apartment are simple but smart enough. Location in the small town and proximity to the airport was a benefit.

Every day cleaning, very honest staff, we left so many valuables and nothing was ever touched.
In 50m. we had a two restaurants to choose from, grocery shop and coffee.

DIY room preparation and terrible CS

Upon arrival just after midnight with two tired children we were kept waiting for over an hour whilst the concierge searched for our apartment keys. He eventually gave us keys for another apartment and sent us on our way. When we arrived at our apartment it was bare and only two sets of bedding, the sash window was broken in the open position so the room was boiling, dirty plates and cutlery were in the sink and the bin was full of refuse. When I went back to the concierge to complain he told me there was nothing he could do and simply gave me two extra sets of bedding and told me to make up the other two beds. For £140 for one night this was disgraceful quality and service, I went back to complain on departure and was the manager was busy, but would call me.... he never did. Avoid this place like the plague.

Appartment with Sea View

Apartment in perfect location that offered the best of both worlds. Sea views with peace and quiet but use of all facilities in complex if more activities required. Apartment clean and basic but adequate. Housekeepers in daily to clean and change linen and towels. All complex staff from reception, restaurant and cleaners helpful and friendly helped create a perfect chilled break. Although there is no sandy beach within close proximity there is plenty of places to soak up the sea air and dip in the numerous pools. Wouldn't hestitate to go back.

we had an apartment with sea view. they are a bit run down bathroom had a very poor paint job as if it was just a quick cover up. the kitchenette had a gas hob, microwave but no kettle or oven. would be difficult to really self cater in here. they advertise tv with satellite channels, they are correct but only two are british channels both news based programmes. this however is common in most hotels it seems. the pool just outside the patio doors very nice but a bit cold.

Idyllic spot with a nice apartment and pool

We have stayed at vista faro 3 years running. It is a lovely place to stay if you want to chill. Rooms were cleaned daily and linen and towels changed regularly. Only down side was the pool side bar had been closed this year. Not a major problem though.

Amazing location by the sea. Great views from our apt. Relatively basic apts but views made up for it. Nice pool. Shame the Pool bar was closed. This was not clear from the booking info but not the end of the world. Supermarket very close by. V v v hot at night. No air con or fan which is a big disappointment in mid summer! Realised check in isn't at these apts but at nearby hotel ( not told this in advance!!).
All round nice stay for 2 nights.

Adequate but sofa beds not suitable for big kids

We only stayed for one night thankfully. There is no aircon or fans and the rooms do not get any natural through draught. So it is hot.
Check-in process is poor - you have to get your key from the Hotel Salgar which is half a mile away and no directions are given. The staff once there though were lovely.
The rooms are basic but functional. The sofa beds are not suitable for anyone over the age of 10 in my opinion and are not comfortable. Main beds are fine.
You have access to all the PortBleu facilities in town which is great (but we did not use them other than the on-site pool which was great).

We visited in July 2017 for 3 nights with our 2 teenage girls.Great check in by the very helpful staff although a bit confusing to find in the dark, as reception was a good walk from our apartment and had to ask directions in a bar.
Apartment was clean and tidy but limited although adequate facilities which was representative of the price paid for our 3 day break. Only down side was no air conditioning as apartment did get very warm during the day and at night which made it difficult to sleep.
Plenty of room and sunbeds by the pool and local beach a 15 minute walk away which was worth the walk and had a bar / restaurant at the beach. Also a good bar / restaurant enroute to break the journey if required which also served ice creams.
2 restaurants in resort pirates which we did not visit but could highly recommend the Reina Isabel which serves great food from 10am until late at reasonable prices. Live entertainment on Saturday which was also very good.
There was a small coffee shop 2 minutes from the apartments near the restaurants which was great value for money and opened 8am -4pm daily serving a great selection of fresh pastries and hot and cold drinks plus local good stuff and rolls freshly made to order.
The local supermarket next door offered a great selection of goods plus a tourist shop selling a wide selection of beach gods and souvenirs.
A relaxing and peaceful break and a certain resort to which we will return again with all of our family.

Great stay at VistaFaro

I was very pleased with my stay at VistaFaro, the apartment was fully furnished, it had all the amenities we needed and a nice view of the sea from the balcony. There was also a cleaner who came daily. The only thing was the showerhead and curtain needed to be replaced. The company provides free transport to local beaches and to Mao which is useful. They provide lots of great activities that I didn't know before going there such as scuba diving and kayaking.If you're staying at any PortBlue hotel you also have access to all the swimming pools, restaurants and bars of the complex and there are quite a few. It's also very easy and quite cheap to rent a car.

Ideal for those that like a quiet place to stay.

Situated at the end of the seafront, this apartment complex is ideally placed for those that like a quieter place to stay, with no passing traffic to disturb you, just the sound of the sea in the night air.
The well spaced apartments sit in reasonably well kept gardens with the pool situated at the front nearest the road which terminates at the site.
We've stayed here twice, and would return again without hesitation.
There are only two restaurants in S'Algar itself, El Pirata and Reina Isabel... both serving reasonably priced food and drink. There is a small supermarket and a little bakery shop which also serves very nice cakes and coffees, well worth a visit at some time.
The S'Algar Hotel has a large swimming pool right on the seafront a little short walk down the road which is open to the public, and serves excellent snacks and drinks during the daytime... well recommended.

Great for a Quiet Getaway!

I went for a solo getaway to disconnect and spend some quality time with my face in a book.

The staff are very friendly and welcoming. There's a supermarket within a two minute walk - so excellent for grabbing groceries etc. for the week.

Pool area is nice, with the pool itself clean and well maintained. The area also gets sun all day long.

There was some *minor* cleanliness issues (hair etc. in the bathroom) - but nothing major (bedding etc. was clean).

The only thing that I did find annoying was the lack of WiFi - there *is* WiFi at the hotel - but in my room it simply didn't work. Connectivity was only available in one bit (that I had to stand in!) and it would regularly drop.

Booked 11 nights...only stayed 6 nights.

Great stay...only downside was being forced to transfer to Las Palmeras hotel for the last 5 days of our holiday having booked 11 days at Vista Faro...definitely not an upgrade. We should have been told on booking that our full stay was not available as the hotel was \"CLOSING\" before the end of our stay???????????????? Other guests arriving while we were there were transferred on arrival and were not happy. Having identified this hotel as our choice on our visit to S\"Algar last year, we expected to stay where we booked so were disappointed...maybe a policy of paying AFTER your stay should be adopted but that may be wishful thinking. Still a good hotel but bad customer service...pay your hard earned money and HOPE you stay where you booked

Mixed bag at Vista Faro

Booked sea view apartment and were told on arrival that we would have to take a non sea view apartment for the first night. On second day we asked when we would be relocated to be told that the cleaners had not been informed so we would have to wait until the end of their shift which could be as late as 3pm. This meant that our second day of a seven night holiday was effectively wasted. Wifi was not available until the fifth day. Microwave broke but was replaced later on the same day. However, once we were relocated the experience was much improved. Difficult to say whether we would recommend these apartments as so much depends on which one you get. Also difficult to rate staff as some were excellent whilst others were unhelpful.

Lovely apartments with beautiful clean pool

A lovely stay in s'algar a small peaceful resort with good facilities 3 good restaurantsaccommodation and swimming pool very nice. Pool kept kids happy all day nice little cafe for lollies and coffee and we were allowed to use 3 other hotel pools in resort . short walk of 10 to 15 minutes over path to beautiful beach and cove at Alcaufar where their is also a choice of nice restaurants with beautiful views.

Very, very noisy

Room was incredibly noisey. We had bottom floor appartment, and i genuinely thought builders were in the room above, but it was just the family up there going about their business. You could not possibly sleep past the time they got up. Noise travels through the buildings very badly. Also, there was also an old man who seems to live on the complex who sits on his balcony all day, every day whistling non stop at the top of his voice. The noise completey fills your appartment and drives you crazy. May sound like an odd complaint, but wait until you've heard it. Don't expect any peace and quiet during the day. Had to tell him to shut up several times. Nice, basic appartments, but make sure you get top floor at all costs.

Cheap, reasonable and on the sea front

Apartamentos Vista Faro is part of the S'Algar Resort which includes Hotel S'Algar and Hotel San Luis. The area feels like part of a resort rather than an original village but the area and amenities are ok. The apartment was clean and tidy if a bit basic - but fine for the price. We were in 1A and the noise from cleaners opening their laundry store was quite disturbing at 8am, though fortunately we're early starters so it wasn't a problem. There aren't any proper beaches nearby but you can get to the Hotel S'Algar waterfront in about 5mins where there are steps into the rocky sea. Alternatively there is a small but picturesque beach about 15minutes walk to the south, and a bigger beach about 1hr walk south in Ponta Prima. It's well worth getting water shoes due to the spiky rocks and a snorkel set makes watching the sea life a good way to pass time. There's a small inlet about 20mins walk to the north (Cala Rafallet possibly) where you can enjoy a fairly quiet area for snorkelling and diving. Guests have free use of some of the sport facilities at Hotel San Luis and we also hired bikes there for a day. Food facilities seem fairly limited but there is a basic supermarket in the centre of the resource and Pirates restaurant seemed to be reasonably good. Don't bother with the buffet at Hotel S'Algar - it's cheap but the food is poor. One of the desert options was Wheatabix with squirty cream and chocolate dusting on top.

Cuidado con tasas turísticas-Solo mayores de 16

Para hacer el check-in un mareo.No lo haces en el lugar donde están los apartamentos tienes que ir a otro hotel que hay tres calles de distancia,pero en el momento de la reserva no hacen ninguna mención.Cuando nos van a dar las llaves nos dicen que hay que pagar las tasas turísticas, ningún problema,y a la hora de pasar la tarjeta, una vez que ya se ha confirmado el pago,la chica apaga el datáfono con lo que nos va obliga a volver a pasarlo, en consecuencia pagamos dos veces y tuve que enseñarle mi cuenta bancaria, aun así nos enseñaba su ordenador diciendo que solo había un pago, tuve que llamar a mi banco y me explicaron que lo que contaba era el datáfono, así se lo transmití y finalmente me devolvieron el segundo pago(después de perder 1 hora)
Ademas nos cobraron tasas de mi hijo que tiene 14 años, porque por política del hotel los mayores de 12 los consideran adultos, con lo que nos obligaban a pagar las tasas. Tuvimos que ir otra vez a la mañana siguiente, para hablar con la encargada y que nos devolviera su parte, ya que solo tienen que pagar tasas los mayores de 16 años. (Con lo que quién no reclama el hotel se queda el importe de esas tasas).
En general el apartamento bastante bien... Está reformado y es muy amplio (tal y como se ve en las fotos). Solo vienen a limpiar cada 4 días. Pero vimos a la chica de la limpieza (muy simpática) y nos dió toallas limpias. La socorrista muy bien también, nos aconsejo sitios para ir. En general estuvimos muy cómodos.

Implanté dans une petite station balnéaire, les appartements Blue Room Vista Faro sont très joliment situés, très proche de la mer. (pas de plage) et le site est globalement calme et bien entretenu quoique un peu vieillot.
Les logements sont spacieux (grande chambre avec placard - grande pièce à vivre (avec banquette lit) - petite cuisine avec juste ce qu'il faut pour 4 personnes. Salle de bain confort et pratique.
Beau balcon
Bémol : isolation phonique à revoir entre les appartements et piscine qui n'est pas que réservée aux personnes de la résidence.
Dans l'ensemble , un agréable séjour , au \"presque\" calme.
Pas de restauration sur place : mais petit restau El Pirata (bon rapport qualité prix) et boulangerie - supermarché à proximité (- 200 M).

Lo malo, es que al no tener ventiladores, había que dejar las ventanas abiertas, y eso lleva a unos cuantos inconvenientes, como tener que escuchar a las siete de la mañana los carros de la limpieza y maletas. Además, si estás en uno de los bajos, no puedes abrir la \"persiana\" metálica para que entre más aire, porque te ve todo el mundo. Y convendría hacer saber a los huéspedes que no se debe hacer ruido de 00:00 a 08:00, por ejemplo, ya que se oye todo, desde conversaciones acaloradas hasta actos sexuales, por tener las ventanas abiertas...

Lo bueno, muy bonito el sitio, las vistas de la piscina y de fácil acceso en coche, y nos gustó mucho que se puedan usar los servicios y actividades del resto de hoteles Port Blue. El personal de los hoteles, piscinas y restaurantes muy agradables, y la limpieza está bien también.

Belle vue mais qualité du logement pas au rdv

Très compliqué pour l’installation car la réception de l’hôtel ne se situe pas à l’adresse ms dans un autre hôtel 4 étoiles à 300 m où personne ne parle un minimum le français. Chambre belle vue ms peinture de plafond qui tombe fenêtre bloquée ouverte et bois des ouvrants refait au mastic. Qualité très faible pour le prix. Pas de plage à proximité comme indiqué juste barrière de rochers. Nous ne reviendrons plus sur ce logement et déplorons le manque d’informations dans l’annonce.

Un hotel muy tranquilo y bueno para aquellos que quieren desconectar. Lo único un poco alejado y una cosa más fue que preguntamos por un sitio de paellas y entre otros nos dijeron Sa Musclera, pero resulta que fuimos ahí y no hacían paellas... pero por lo demás muy bien! Personal muy agradable dispuesto a ayudar y buenos servicios en el hotel. Sin duda para volver!

Il problema più grosso è stato che il soggiorno non è stato effettivamente presso la struttura prenotata, ma un’altra del gruppo. Quella prenotata (Blue Rooms Vista Faro) non era neanche aperta!!
La struttura sostitutiva era fortunatamente ben tenuta, con una bella piscina e con un bell’appartamento grande. Peccato che fosse molto più lontana dal mare rispetto a quella che ci aspettavamo.

Es una zona estratégica para ver cualquier parte de la isla cerca de las zonas punteras. Bien para aparcar . Muy tranquilo. Limpieza muy buena y la piscina es mejor la del hotel pero para estar un rato es aceptable. Lo mejor es el silencio para dormir.

La estancia fue buena, un sitio agradable y grande, quizás un televisor un poco más grande y la necesidad de una plancha en la casa hubiera sido mejor, pero todo muy bien.

Situation géographique face à là mer dans unl petit village touristique et parfaitement desservit par les restaurant et petites commerce.

Au regard des températures et du standing des lieux la climatisation serait nécessaire.

Fantastisk havudsigt og dejligt lokalområde

Vi havde 2 lejligheder, begge med fantastisk udsigt til havet og poolen.
Der er ikke aircon og da det var 30-35 grader stod alle vinduer åbne. Desværre var der larm fra pool området og nærliggende restauranter, så det forstyrrede nattesøvnen.
Bil leje kan klares 100 meter hende af gaden til gode priser og det er nødvendigt med bil for at opleve andet end det lille lokal område.
Der er en god købmand, bager og et par gode restauranter indenfor 100m

son apartamentos comodos en un sitio muy agradable

Nos hemos encontrado muy cómodos, el apartamento es amplio y tiene lo indispensable para pasar unas lindas vacaciones. El personal muy amable, cambian toallas todos los días y mantienen muy limpio todo. La única pega es que no tienen aire acondicionado y el ventilador si lo solicitan y hay disponibles, se los dan. La piscina muy cómoda y como todo el complejo muy tranquilo, es ideal para quien busca desconectar y relajarse por completo. Aconsejo tener vehículo ya que en pocos minutos se puede ir a cualquier playa arenosa porque ahí no hay y el tema de aparcar es relativo, tampoco tan difícil es, considerando que estamos de vacaciones no nos cuesta nada caminar dos o tres calles.....Lo bueno que en la Isla el parking es casi todo gratuito. En fin, si, volveríamos a repetir.

Séjour agréable, coin calme et sauvage de l’ile

Appartement très fonctionnel, très propre. Coin terrasse sympa pour prendre le petit déjeuner. La piscine est agréable et nous avons apprécié la possibilité d’acceder à d’autres piscines du même groupe. L’absence de clim ne nous a pas gêné. Il n’y a pas de plage accessible à pieds mais le village est agréable et calme. Il suffit de louer une voiture pour visiter les environs. Très bon séjour, a conseiller !

Io e la mia ragazza abbiamo soggiornato per10giorni in questo gradevole aparthotel.posizione tranquilla (appartamento in mezzo al quartiere e non a bordo strada),vista sul mare,pulizie fatte giornalmente e ampio spazio sono i suoi punti di forza.le uniche pecche sono la mancanza del climatizzatore(anche se non tutte le sere se ne sentiva la mancanza visto che è bello ventilato essendo a due passi dal mare),il letto un po vecchiotto (ogni movimento si sentono le reti scricchiolare)e angolo cucina con il minimo indispensabile,ma a parte questi inconvenienti,alla quale ci si può adattare tranquillamente,è stato un bellissimo soggiorno

PRECIOSAS VISTAS Y AMPLIO APARTAMENTO

Es un apartamento muy cómodo y funcional. Cocina equipada, baño grande y una terraza muy amplia con unas preciosas vistas al mar, desde donde veíamos amanecer.
Se duerme muy tranquilo, sin ruidos.
Tiene una piscina muy bonita.
El personal es muy amable.
Es como una zona residencial muy tranquila. Cerca hay una panadería y una tienda, tipo supermercado.

Situato a sud dell'isola, a pochi km da Mao, la considero comunque una posizione strategica in quanto perfettamente collegata alle strade principali per raggiungere anche le località più a nord, mentre nei pressi vi sono spiagge bellissime raggiungibili in auto in pochi minuti (Binibequer, Punta prima, Alcalfar, Cala Mesquida)
La struttura è costituita da un complesso di appartamenti in palazzine di soli due piani (p.t. e 1° p.) e gli alloggi sono spaziosi, tutti con camera da letto separata dalla zona giorno e cucina, e ben arieggiati, non c'è l'aria condizionata ma non serve (eppure a luglio c'erano più di 30 gradi di giorno, all'esterno)
Pulizia camera e bagno giornaliera, con cambio biancheria, la cucina spetta agli ospiti, ma per qualsiasi esigenza basta chiedere, il personale è molto gentile e disponibile
A disposizione dei clienti la piscina attrezzata, dove si può rimanere anche fino a tardi
Nelle viuzze adiacenti al complesso troviamo bar, ristoranti, negozi e supermercatino; per una spesa più consistente, consigliato il nuovissimo e molto grande supermercato LIDL, appena fuori da S. Louis, sulla strada per Mao (merce eccellente e prezzi convenienti)
Visitate Minorca, è tutta da scoprire, e non solo le spiagge!

Abbiamo trascorso una bella settimana di vacanza in questa struttura!! Appartamento semplice e confortevole, l’ideale per chi ama girare molto e avere un punto di appoggio dove non si è legati dagli orari dell’hotel!! Con parcheggi davanti all’appartamento piscina, mini market bar, ristoranti, negozietti e noleggio auto tutto in meno di 500 metri!!! Ideale per famigli o comitive di amici

Muy alejado de todo

El resort en el que están los apartamentos está en una punta de la isla y casi todo lo interesante de esta está en la otra punta. El apartamento está siempre limpio y es cómodo, no obstante está muy anticuado.

El apartamento está bien, un poco antiguo pero es amplio y se está bien..Algo imperdonable es que había muchos pelos en la cuna del bebé. El WiFi no se conectaba y no había agua caliente.. Es mejorable.

Los apartamentos están bien.

Es la segunda vez que vamos y en ambas veces hemos estado 15 dias.
El sitio esta muy bien, el apartamento limpio y cómodo y el lugar lo mismo.
Como pega es que este año he visto mucho descontrol en la piscina. Se cuela todo el pueblo, niños, jovenes y eso molesta un poco y además quita binestar a las zonas comunes. Importante destacar que este año el hotel blue que esta justo en en primera linea, lo han puesto solo para adultos, y es una pena para los que tenemos hijos educados y nos gustaba comer allí. Esto no lo avisan. Y hay que tenerlo en cuenta. Por lo demás bien.

Muy incomodo y déficit de ubicar el Check in , luego hay que caminar unas cuadras a la habitación , tampoco tiene aire acondicionado , lleno de mosquitos la habitación por tal motivo no lo recomiendo
