Amazing short break

Perfect short break lovely facilities and fantastic location. Great sea views only small issue is sound proofing between rooms could be improved apart from that this hotel is amazing and we will be visiting again

Single room was adequate and comfortable. Clean and we'll stocked with essential toiletries. Comfortable bed. Clothes hanger on balcony wall. Bistro table and chairs on balcony. Dining room very noisy. Food - plenty selection. All inclusive - adequate alcoholic selection. No ice cream or lollies included. Daytime snack bar available. Evening entertainment poor. Daytime entertainer music at pool very loud.

Got what I paid for. I paid extra for a sea view room and reasonably expected a full view. I only had a partial view. Food was as expected for a hotel of this nature and I ate well every night. Some variety in dessert would have been appreciated.

All-inclusive every day, 3 courses was perfect, buffet style, everyone enjoying themselves staff were very helpful, like 30 second walk from the exit doors of hotel to son bou beach, incredible scenery, we was on the 8th floor l, lovely hotel room!!

This hotel is in clear need of a refurb. The staff were not particularly helpful given that our flight was delayed by 3 hours. The person checking us in said he had cashed up for the evening and was therefore reluctant to let me pay by card and wanted cash. No parking spaces near the hotel. Hotel had spaces but there was a €12.50 charge so had to go off in search of a space in the town. Given that we were 3 hours late and it was 1am not a great welcome !

I booked this hotel because it says ‘free self parking’ but then once I got there, I found out the parking was paid: 16 euros/day. All the lifts didn’t smell very nice, but apart from all these things, the breakfast was yummy, with a lot of options. Good location as well, since there’s a good beach near by.

The hotel is old and in poor condition. We booked a standard room with balcony and we’re given a ground floor room with terrace looking into the smoking area. In order to get another room we were forced to pay for an upgrade, where we got an identical room but on a higher floor. The rooms are very tired snd very old fashioned. The air conditioning in both rooms was noisy.

Resturant is fine but many of the windows have been bolted shut so it gets very hot. The buffet is nice but ALL drinks are extra.

Pool nice snd location on the beach is great.

This is realistically a 2 star hotel snd should cost accordingly.

I would not recommend or ever go back.

We booked our room with balcony in a hotel with 600rooms with balcony looking to the sea. But our room booked we discovered was a standard room with balcony looking to the entrance where everyone could see inside. Very disappointed to the manner Hotel. Com has sealed this room

We stayed for 10 days at the end of September 2019. We had half board which is breakfast and dinner. The third night my wife got severe food poisoning from a piece of smoked salmon on the evening buffet. She spent the next 48 hours in bed. The food was mediocre at best, the grilled fish and meats bland. The staff at the front desk were unhelpful except for one. One front desk person said\" We're a three star hotel. We don't arrange transfers for our guests\" when I asked for assistance contacting our ride service as I didn't have a phone and my I-pad would not load the vendors website. Which brings us to the amenities: The \"business center\" has a computer but you have to buy a \"ticket\" at the front desk in order to access the computer. Printing involves e-mailing your file to them and they print it out. There is no laundry facility if you want to do your own laundry. There are no restaurants, just a bar. The wine by the way is mediocre as well.
The only bright spots are the location, right on Son Bou Beach and the housekeeping staff. They were friendly, very service oriented and our room when we had it done was done very well. The view from our room was outstanding but the room is very, very small with one arm chair that,frankly, was for a small child. I would revisit Menorca and Son Bou beach but I would not stay at this reort nor any others they manage.

Very disappointed to to told on arrival that car parking, safe and kettle were not included but available at an additional cost.

Breakfast OK but ‘fruit’ juice and coffee were awful.

Great location ..but

Hotel needs refurb - rooms have all you need, great views all round from balcony (we were on 10th floor) but beware if you are a light sleeper .. soundproof non-existant. You can hear every plug socket or drawer being used and same with toilets!
Plus side is breakfast pretty decent and beach bar at back is excellent if you're not all inclusive.
Local bars and restaurants are ok with reasonable prices.

Friends weekend away

The hotel is predominantly Spanish.
The staff seemed to be friendly to Spanish guests but indifferent to British guests. Almost bordering on rude.
My friend Had a fall just as we were leaving for the airport we needed to go to hospital as she had broken her wrist and they wouldn't help us at all. They were more concerned about the taxi waiting for us outside. No help was forth coming at all.
If you are anything other than Spanish I would give this hotel a wide birth.

Nice hotel with professional staff

I enjoyed staying in this hotel, though i found it very noisy. The music of the daily and evening activities were too loud to enjoy a calm rest in your room. Plus i would recommend this hotel to families, not for people who wanna relax because of the children running around and screaming everywhere.

Reasonable hotel with excellent access to the beach and a decent pool. A little annoying they levy quite high charges for small extras (Room safe, towels etc) but in general you get what you pay for here.

The rooms are small and a bit dated but they have all you need, the breakfast is pretty decent with a proper selection.

Good choice of food but poor service, hard to order drinks as few staff and queues. Grumpy waiters.The air conditioning in our room was broken so we had to use the ceiling fan that rattled and squeeked throughout the night! Room TINY, metal bunk beds really old and rickety. Nothing for children between age of 10 and 16 to do as activities such as water polo were for adults only. The kids club was for children aged 5-12. I don't know many 10-12 year olds happy to play follow my leader around the busy pool with 5-8 year olds!! The beach was great, safe and lots of fun watersport's for older kids. Great bars along the beach to eat at - lovely fresh food.

Nice, basic, hotel close to the beach

Yes, it's a basic hotel compared to others around but it's perfectly designed for its main purpose. The hotel has a massive pool which never felt crowded to us and plenty of sun-beds. But the real plus of this hotel is that it takes roughly 3mins to walk from the exit, via wooden flooring, directly onto the beach. The beach is simply beautiful and perfect for snorkelling. So, the hotel is basic and very large but it's great for families and the breakfast is first-rate (it has something for everyone). Most rooms have a sea view and the view is simply spectacular. In short, we had a great 7days here and loved every minute of it.
I will say just one thing that really did irritate me though. I'm still stunned that on arrival I was asked to pay €15 for the privilege of using the safe within our own room. I have never known that before and found that quite ridiculous. But, overall, great value for money.

The hotel is well situated, beautiful views, good access to the beach, shops and restraunts. Mixture of crowds, such as families, pensioners and young couples. Breakfast buffet is good and well stocked. i do think the bedroom decor is aged and needs to be upgraded. Some minor irritation in them charging for you to use the safe in the room, which should be complimentary.

Relaxing break on the beach

We had a great stay at Sol Milanos Pinguinos for three nights.

The hotel all the basic necessities you would need but I would not rate it as luxurious. The fact that you have to pay for so many things separately is a little annoying. In addition to the accommodation fee, we had to pay for wifi (€15 for 3days on one device), using the safety box in our room (€7.50 for the duration of our stay), parking (€8 per day) and using the chairs on the beach (€7.50 per chair for one day). This all adds up really quickly.

Breakfast was included and the spread is really good, and the quality of food is also great. The buffet includes almost everything from smoked salmon and cream cheese to donuts and nutella and the normal fry-up. We could easily have a late breakfast and then stick it out until an early dinner, which makes up for the lots of hidden costs.

The room was basic, and despite the fact that we booked a double bed, we received twin beds. This is not ideal, but not a deal breaker. Rooms are serviced daily and we did not have any problems with this.

The supermarket at the hotel and across the street are great and rather affordable. It is an easy walk around the small town with enough things to keep everyone of all ages entertained.

a* location freezing pool hotel aimed at Italians

Lovely location right by the beach which is beautiful, beautiful swimming pool nice to look at but ICE cold so look at it is all we did! The hotel is dated, rooms are very dated but you get what u pay for, the hotel staff keep the room clean everyday so u always come back to a spotless room which is nice, and golf and table tennis is lovely and shows are amazing!!! Little mermaid show magic show and a trapeze act All 5* entertainment .... This hotel is perfect for any Italians as most entertainment is in Italian or Spanish there was only a handful of English family's in the resort but all in all nice family holiday lovely location great entertainment they need to heat their pool to a bearable temperature its a beautiful pool such a shame it's so cold, stay in milanos building closest to everything, food not great we chose to get a refund on our all inclusive and eat out as restaurants by hotel are really good, lovely food, and all inclusive in this hotel is not ALL inclusive at all there are different types of all inclusive and only certain things eat type can get so its a bit silly if u ask me so we chose to eat out which was perfect for us as food at outside restaurants was really good ( avoid Arthur's restaurant - rude waiters bad food! All others were really Nice!)
Other than that only ting to mention is we went with a 2 and 4 yr old and they gave us bunk beds..... You can't put a 4 yr old on top bunk and the pane to stop him falling fell off with a Slight movement!

Proximity to the beach was a definite plus point, beach is lovely, water clear and very safe

Hotel very popular with young families so lots of toddlers/babies

Restaurants OK, buffet style, all laid out very nicely but unless the tray had just been stacked the food was lukewarm. The best part was the made to order pasta, long wait but well worth it.

Room was clean, tired and not very big. Not much space part from wardrobe and beds to move around, the acoustics were shocking. We had a family above us that insisted on dragging furniture around their room, late at night and very early in the morning. You could also hear plugs being plugged in, voices intermittently. You could also hear the water running for showers of the room next door.

Staff on reception very helpful but restaurant staff not as helpful - wrong drinks brought, couldn't assist in questions on food.

Great holiday!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel - all the staff were very professional, friendly and welcoming. Pools were great with an abundance of sunbeds. Food was great. Everything was great ........ apart from the lifts. There were many lifts but each one stopped on each floor and, as there was no air-conditioning in the lifts, by the time we had travelled from Floor 11 to the Ground Floor, we were a sweaty mess!!

Long weekend break with a friend. The location is fantastic, beach on door step and a nice clean pool. The rooms were tired but the maids were thorough and staff friendly.
Fantastic for family's- even though I thought the flint stones theme was great for kids but you couldn't escape them anywhere.
Breakfast was average- didn't try the other meals.

My room over looked the pool which wasn't noisy at all. The pool is lit beautifully at night.and my balcony was quite big. The beach really is a few steps from the hotel pool and the hotel offers waiter service to sunbeds around hotel pool. The hotel has a restaurantand pool side cafe, a large bar which is nice to sit at and plenty of seating/tables for the excellent stage entertainment. They have two pools with games and water bikes - Fab! Wifi wasn't free but it may have been included with a more expensive room. There was no hotel airport shuttle, I had to take a taxi. My room had a good fridge that stayed cold, good air conditioning but there was no soap in my bathroom, only hotel 'nail varnish remover' which was fun. You will find that taxis and buses stop outside the hotel. There is also a cash machine. I enjoyed my 1 night here because of the gorgeous pool and beach (hotel really is located on the beach) but I couldn't come here in the busy school holidays. I didn't enjoy the Fred Flintstone theme in public areas. This is a 3* Hotel but they do a good job of it.

Don't go if your not 80 or married with Kids

Family Destination more so then anything. If your looking to relax and get a peace of mind this is the place for you, but if your looking to party do not go to Menorca. This place is more for families and elderly couples. I also recommend renting a car because it can be a bit tricky when trying to get to the beautiful beaches such as Cala N' Turqueta or Macarelleta. All in all its a beautiful place with the longest beach Menorca has to offer! definitely a place to find your self and get a piece of mind

Great Beach

By far, the noisiest hotel I have ever stayed in. You can hear everyone (and everything they are doing) in the rooms beside, under and over you and everything going on in the hall. Also, when someone turns on the hot water, the pipes moan loudly for at least a minute. The staff was nice but the hotel is quite run down. The location is excellent on the son bou beach and there is an excellent restaurant (sunset bar) on the beach serving fresh seafood and good snacks.

If you're a couple, request a room high up, choose dates when kids are still at school, and the rest will be true paradise! Everyone friendly and everything nice and clean and comfortable. I wouldn't stay there when full , due to kindergarten feel everywhere around.

overall the hotel was in a good location and the breakfast was very good . I Would return again. Dine out at Andres its just across the road, its excellent. My only criticism was that I was put in a room at the back of the hotel with an inland view when clearly there were lots of rooms with a sea view empty.

Cheap and cheerful!

Apparently the hotel was built in the 1970's when Franco opened up Spain to the tourist industry. It rather shows its age but it is a 3 star hotel and you get what you pay for in life. Lots of the balconies are collapsing and there were workmen there the whole time chipping away at the masonry to pre-empt it falling on people below.

The beach is stunningly beautiful and just outside the door to the hotel - the walk along the beach to Sant Tomas is fabulous.

The food is served buffet style and there was a good range of food available. Some of it could have been hotter for my taste, but for a 3 star hotel it was fine on the whole.

Lots of the guests were there on an all inclusive basis and this meant that they stayed around the hotel in order to be able to drink and eat as much as possible.

This hotel stands out in Menorca as it must be the ugliest on the island. It is primarily aimed at families with a booming kids club and Fred Flintstone doing photo shoots!
The swimming pool was freezing as not heated!
If you like ' All Day Full English Breakfast' and giant screens to watch the football , then this is the place for you. If not then please try some other part of Menorca as it is a beautiful island!

Hormis l'accueil qui donne l'illusion d'un hotel de haut standing, une fois arrives en chambre c'est la désillusion
Hotel délabré, vieux , fenetre cassée qui ne ferme pas dans les nuits fraiches d'octobre , literie a ressorts horrible, un simple rideau ajouré et pas de volets ou store pour occulter la nuit
Isolation 0/20 , calcaire ect ect
Buffet du soir a 25 euros sans boisson pour manger dans un brouhaha general de la nourriture tres classique, surgelée et sans saveur
Une simple nuit en escale sur le camí de cavall aura suffit mais n'aura pas ete reposante.

La primera noche tuvimos que dormir en un colchón de.muelles que se nos clavaban en la espalda pero reconozco que al día siguiente nos lo solucionaron, pedimos escobilla del WC y nos dijeron que no podían darnos por el tema igiene que.para nosotros peor igiene es dejar trazas y que queden hasta el día siguiente y encontrársela la señora de la limpieza, el servicio de toallas de la piscina es ridículo que te cobren 1€ por toalla que quieras cambiar, y el desayuno bastante malo cuando nos dijeron que eran productos de la zona, el servicio del hotel muy atento pero el resto muy precario es mi humilde opinión, como dice la canción \" que no es lugar si no quién te acompaña\"

Un grand hôtel honorable près de la mer

6 nuits dans cet hôtel face à la mer. État général assez bon sauf la présence de fourmis au 6eme étage qui venaient fouiller la table de chambre. La fenêtre de la salle de bain était aussi défectueuse. La piscine ne sert à rien, personne n’y a allait, elle faisait plus décors qu’utilité. Petit déjeuner très varié et complet. PAR CONTRE LE PARKING QUI DEVAIT ÊTRE GRATUIT EST PAYANT 10€ LA NUIT.
Son Bou sans très grand intérêt si ce n’est la proximité avec les plus belles plages et Mao.

A éviter si vous le pouvez…

C’était le seul hôtel dispo lors de notre étape sur le camì. Le prix de la chambre est juste disproportionné par rapport à l’hôtel, à part le hall plutôt clinquant, les chambres n’ont pas quitté les années 80, le confort est sommaire et le petit dej, même s’il y a beaucoup de choix, n’est pas terrible en terme de goût. Bref, sa seule qualité fut de ne pas être complet.

essendo un hotel a 3 stelle è gestito benissimo in molte cose👌
note non al top purtroppo è come ben sanno credo tutti prima di prenotare camera piccolissima 😭 servizio cassaforte in camera a pagamento😭parcheggio auto a pagamento😭
Colgo l’occasione di elogiare la cortesia e la disponibilità di tutti i dipendenti iniziando dalla reception camerieri e donne delle pulizie in particolare il mini club x bambini animatori bravi e accoglienti👍
Posizione del hotel alla spiaggia ideale anche se non è gestita dalla struttura ma a pagamento 👍

Leider hat mir das Hotel nicht zugesagt. Das Zimmer war sehr alt und dreckig. Die Klospülung ist eine einzige Katastrophe, weil auch nach Tagen nicht alles weg war. Unser Fön hat leider auch nicht funktioniert. Check-In dauerte sehr lange auch nach vorherigen Pre Check-In! Das Buffet war zwar groß aber die Qualität vom Essen war einfach schlecht. Positiv war aber, dass das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit war! Die Lage war auch sehr gut und der Strand ist unmittelbar in der Nähe vom Hotel. Es gilt strikte Maskenpflicht im und um das Hotel, was auch sehr gut gemanaged wird! Wenn man auf der Suche nach einem schönen Hotel mit moderner Ausstattung ist, dann ist man hier falsch. Es ist mehr ein Familienhotel für Leute mit wenig Ansprüchen!

Io vengo in questa struttura dal 2010. Le camere sono un po’ fatiscenti ma la posizione e il mare di fronte all’hotel ripaga tutto. Il personale è molto gentile e disponibile.

La estancia de tres días y dos noches ha sido maravillosa.

Buena ubicacion para recorrer la isla y además tiene una playa excelente que se accede desde el mismo hotel.

En recepción encontramos a Angelica que nos atendió muy bien e incluso en unas de las habitaciones (que ibamos por celebración de 50 aniversario de casados) nos obsequiaron con un detalle.

En el comedor, mención especial a Ester que nos ayudó en todo y sobretodo su gran simpátia y profesionalidad.

Para terminar decir que tienen perfectas medidas por tema Covid y que en general todos los empleados del hotel son muy pero que muy majos, atentos y simpáticos.

En la reserva figuraba parking gratuito. Al llegar nos imforman q son 12 euros por dia. Finalmente la persona de recepción q fue frsnca.ente amable nos soluciono el problema.
Todo lo demas perfecto.

El colchón estropea un servicio bastante aceptable

Lo único que estaba mal era el colchón. Deben renovarlos ya.
No tiene lujos y las instalaciones están bastante anticuadas y a veces descuidadas, pero la relación calidad precio sería muy buena, si no fuera por el colchón de la cama.

Hotel com quartos antiquados, casa de banho muito antiquada. As camas e colchões igualmente antiquada. Funcionários antipaticos e sem o mínimo interesse em agradar aos clientes especialmente no restaurante e bar. Este hotel vale somente pela localização, em frente à praia de Son Bou e vário restaurante à volta e supermercados. Sara da recepção foi muito simpática. Mas no geral experiência a nao repetir.

Attaccata ad una bella spiaggia con un bel mare ed una bella piscina interna.
Troppo frenetico a volte il servizio nello sparecchiare, pietanze abbondanti e varie, anche se la pasta è spesso scotta.
Personale gentile alla reception.
Letto non particolarmente comodo, pulizia della stanza discreta.
Comunque ottimo per una settimana al mare.
