This villa is located in the area of Son Bou, situated a few meters from the St. James Club.

The area includes a large variety of bars, restaurants, shops, supemercados, bowling, disco and children's entertainment. This modern and minimalist villa, built in late 2009, has its own pools, exterior and interior (can be heated), each with their own whirpool.

The outdoor area is fully equipped to enjoy life outdoors, including a barbecue. The main floor of this villa has two bedrooms with two beds, and their respective wardrobe, plus a bathroom.

On the first floor is a spacious suite with bathroom, whirpool and a room with two beds and a bathroom. The ground floor has a double room and their respective locker, plus a bathroom.

On the beach you can do sports such as banana boating, diving and pedalo. From the airport or port, take the M1 highway in the direction Alaior.

Arriving Alaior, take the third exit signposted Son Bou / San Jaime. At about 7 km.

Son Bou, pass the first roundabout, first exit, following the street and Passeig Maritim 1 STOP turn left onto Costa de Sant Jaume, where a few meters from the village cross is found. From the port of Ciutadella, you have to leave the M1 highway, direction Mahon and approximately 33 km you will find the population of Alaior, take the first exit towards Son Bou / San Jaime and the rest as described above.

We had an excellent stay at Villa Orquidea and still had more places on our list after a week in Merida. Our hosts Griselda, Sonia & Denise were very helpful with ideas for restaurants, things to see and private drivers. There are so many good restaurants! Breakfast was delightful including home-made banana bread, though we mostly ate light.

This hotel is just as its named. A great boutique hotel. It's in a great area in Centro Merida. Close to the Grand Plaza and the Gastronomy district.

The included cook to order breakfast is more than you can expect these days and \"Barbara\" who brings it to you is simply delightful!

amazing 5 star stay here! slightly above average pricing for stays in merida but we felt it was worth it. the property is exactly like the photos, beautiful and serene with lots of plants.

the staff is as very welcoming and kind, and the included hot breakfast with fruit, coffee, juice served every morning 8:30-10:30am was the highlight of our stay. rooms are spacious and clean with many amenities provided. location was great as well, very walkable to everything in merida centro. parking is free on streets.

Great location being circa 10 mins walk from the town squares. The room was large with a big bed, fluffy towels and a walk-in shower. Good quality hairdryer and bathroom products. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Courtyard pool was nice for a dip after a day out and gets sun during the day. Free parking outside hotel on the (one way) street.

Would recommend Oliva Enoteca and Chooj Galeria to eat in. Symphony orchestra was ridiculously good value and something different.

This boutique hotel was truly a pleasant surprise. The building is beautifully renovated. The pool and garden area are very peaceful yet this hotel is very well positioned to discover the city centre and only a 5-10 minute walk to some excellent restaurants! Our room was spacious, clean. Huge bed, nice air-conditioning and lovely spacious shower and bathroom with a choice of good quality toiletries. Very good home-made breakfast and the owners were very welcoming and hospitable. Could not recommend this hotel enough! If we ever return to Merida we will be sure to stay again!

Great place to stay in Merida Centro

We had to come to Mérida to take care of some business so it was a short trip. The hotel is amazing with great architectural elements and lovely decor. The pool was a great way to cool down during the day. The location is excellent with an easy walk to Paseo Montejo, Zocalo and restaurants nearby at Parque Santa Lucia. The room is spacious, clean and the air conditioning is very effective.

We loved this place! The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with super chilly A/C. The hotel is so charming and it felt more like a traditional bed and breakfast. Our host, Alberto, was very helpful with recommendations for dinner. Breakfast was yummy and the cook was accommodating with food preferences. We will definitely return in the future.

My first 10 review I think -- Exceptional

Online - when I saw so many \"10\" reviews - I thought they must be questionable. I have been disappointed in the past. I have been over 1000 nights in hotels and service apartments etc. the past 10 years. This place is exceptional. The keys of: Ice cold AC that can cope with the high ceilings - and clean, new foam mattresses so good I did not bother to add the Tempur-Pedic topper I travel with.

Totally clean, mildew free, fresh smell through out the property. No mini-fridge in the room - but no need - you have 24 hour access to the big colonial home's state of the art kitchen - 24 hour access to the dining room with snacks, nespresso, twinings teas etc... Its like you are a very welcome and trusted guest staying in a millionaire's home. Wifi was outstanding as well. My first 10 review I think.

The key is 2 fold: The Mexico City owners who created it from a factory invested in quality all the way - rare in the hospitality industry these days. And Lorena Carrillo - the GM who is there often - is a highly intelligent young business executive who is obsessive about the cleanliness and quality of the property and guest experience - yet has this relaxed, charming and cheerful personality that defines the property and gives you as much 5 star service you desire with space and privacy. The housekeeping by Oralia is exceptional as well.

They even have a quality massage table on site to make housecall massages easy. And a pond with the little fish that clean your feet! Wow.

Son Bou Gardens is a well-established apartment complex ideal for families with children, built in a classic Mediterranean style. Situated in the lower part of San Jaime, the complex is a short walk from the shops and Son Bou beach.

The apartments are nestled within spacious lawned gardens and feature multiple pools. The 420 apartments are divided into three zones, each with its own pool, all accessible to guests regardless of their designated zone.

Guests using the pools may be asked to make a purchase at the adjoining snack bar (drinks, food, sunbed, or parasol rental). A wide range of services and activities are available, including bars, restaurants, a supermarket, a children's play area, a scuba diving center, tennis courts, a medical center, and various shops.

As the apartments are privately owned, some aspects may vary between units, though all meet the same basic standards. Not all on-site amenities are managed by Menorca Rentals, so availability may vary, especially during the low season.
