No AC until June. So even as its approaching April which is really warm already, the hotel won’t let you turn on the AC. You can only open the window which doesn’t do anything cause the air doesn’t come inside at all. The bathrooms are super stinky, i think its due to the drainage vent system being linked together, it smells like public toilet. When you shower the water goes everywhere cause there is no blinds or glass door. There is also No ventilation system for the shower too so it just gets really steamy with nowhere to go. You can also hear what everyone is doing next door to your room, you know what i mean hahahahahah

Overall, the hotel was great; however, the bed is extremely firm, and the pillows are extremely deflated and flat. The room is extremely hot. When I inquired, the front desk stated the heat and AC in the rooms are all turned off because it is winter; therefore, there is no option to control the temperature in the room. They provided a fan, but it was useless and would automatically shut off after an extended period. I wish I could have controlled the temperature in the room or been notified ahead of time, then I would have reserved a different hotel.

The rooms were very modern and unexpectedly spacious when compared to other hotels I’ve been to. Everything was clean, on the daily. It was an positive unexpected experience for the price we paid. Would come here again if I were to come to Jeju in the future.

The hotel was in a great location being close to the airport and many shops and restaurants. Our room had a nice view from the 9th floor but we did hear music coming from the outside clubs at night. I loved the bidet in the bathroom and the room amenities were nice. Although they provided tea and coffee bags, they did not have creamer, only sugar. It would also have been nice if they provided a clothes line to dry clothes in the bathroom. There were no face towels provided either. The front desk staff was friendly. Overall, I was satisfied with the hotel stay.

One feature that is well thought out, the sofa is located next to the window, allowing you to admire the street view while watching the TV. Entire hotel is super hot with no ac. We check in to our room, turn the AC down to 20C from 25. We leave and come back later to find our room up to 26. I mentioned it to the front desk and they told me that I had to turn the AC all the way down to 18 for it to actually work because, in their words, it's not like normal house AC. Which still didn't make any sense because how did we set it to 20 but then when we came back it was hotter than when we left?? So they made me feel like I was crazy, meanwhile my mom has a heart condition and was about to pass out from the heat. They finally send a maintenance guy up and he said yup it's broken. They switch us to another room with AC that slightly works. We turn it all the way down to 18 and over the entire time that we were there the lowest it got was 24. I'm someone who needs to be cold when I sleep and I got like zero sleep the entire time. Ruined the stay for me.

There's no air conditioning in the rooms, ira so hot and they only turn on 2 hours a Day. and the service isn't up to par with the standard. I asked for an extra pillow, and they didn't have one. The amenities are very basic. The staff doesn't speak English. They can't provide any information about the area. The staff themselves don't know what's around. I stayed at the hotel for 12 hours, and that's enough time to not recommend it. The only good thing is that it's a 10-minute taxi ride from the airport.

We stayed 2 nights at the Shilla Stay. Hotel is outdated and needs serious renovation. Tiles in the bathroom had molds! Most importantly, hotel room was too hot and there was no way to change room temperature! I was told by the front desk agents that the thermometer in the room are set to a certain temperature and cannot be changed. They offered portable fan; however, it was not sufficient to keep comfortable room temperature. What are you doing Hotel room lacked outlet to charge electronics. Front desk agents were not knowledgea in terms of surrounding area for recommendations (restaurants and such. I will not stay here again and I do not recommend you to stay here.

We are aware it was summer that we should not use air con - however the ventilation system was really bad and our room temperature was around 26 degrees.

We asked for a portable fan however the next day we also found that there was a leak during the night which the hotel staff arranged another room for us.

Service and cleanliness were acceptable and the area is generally quiet enough at night for a light sleeper like myself. However, a major minus is the unreliable air conditioning. Throughout our stay, the a/c could only reach the lowest temperature of 23.5 C. The a/c was also very weak, even at the highest fan setting, resulting in a stuffy room. Additionally, I would get woken up at 4-5am in the morning every day because the room got too warm (even without covers on my body). I had to turn off the a/c and turn it on again — this sort of reset it and allowed for production of cool air.
We contacted the front desk and requested for someone to look at the a/c as we felt that maintenance might solve the issue. However, the staff merely sent up a stand fan which didn’t really help. They didn’t send anyone to our room to inspect or do maintenance.

I booked hoping for the brand image of Silla but was thoroughly disappointed for its price point. First of all the location was surrounded by bars and drunk tourists. The first room I was assigned literally smelt like fish and overused cologne and the second room I was assigned was not any better. The smell coming from the bar district and restaurants is not filtered well and seeps into the room. But the biggest two problems were that the couch and pillows were all stained and the bedding had lingering fish smell. Also the soundproofing was so terrible that the room next door who slammed the door every time they came in wa so loud and I could hear throughout the night and in the morning them moving the furniture barely getting any sleep. If anyone is reading this honest review I have stayed at Lotte Jeju city, and it's at a cheaper price point and I have stayed there please go there! Don't stay here you'll regret it

The location was good. But the staff not very helpful and uninterested. i left my adaptor with all the USBs plugged in and asked my hotel in Seoul to help me check if housekeeping has seen it. The first thing they said to the Seoul hotel was that they haven't had any foreign guests staying with them for a while. What nonsense is this? This is not true at all. I saw so many Mainland Chinese and Singaporean guests! How can they not even know this? So my seoul hotel advised that I try calling them myself. I had to use google translate and played it over the speaker. The staff who answered my call said they have the adapter with all the USBs plugged in, but it would take 7 to 10 working days to send them to Seoul. Hello? Yes the weather was bad but 7-10 days. Anyway, it was rather painful talking this way, so I put down the phone. Then the next day, I got a friend in Jeju to help. My Korean friend told me the hotel would send the item to her in Jeju and she would send to me in Singapore because GUESS WHAT? The hotel said they don't post things overseas - not even if the guests pay for it? WHAT? Hello? This is the first time i heard of something like this. ZERO Customer service, or do they still think they don't have overseas guests.

Also, the wallpaper/paint in my room had bubbles underneath and quite a lot of it was like that> i should have taken a photo.

Disappointing. Are you like the equivalent of Hotel 81 in Singapore?
