Good hotel for the cost, but car/cab required

Bit of an older building but pretty well kept up for the price. Location isn't amazing, kind of need to cab or drive everywhere. Some stuff relatively close but at least 15-20 minute walk. Would stay in the building again, but would look for a more central area next time.

I knowingly booked the best room at the top floor for such a good price! I felt like a millionaire. Only thing is that the hotel seemed a little behind in it's technology (they still use do not disturb signs and make up room signs instead of the built-in light.) Also they don't allow outside food&drinks which is a bummer. But an amazing and cozy experience overall 😊

Couple free and easy trip

The staffs are friendly, I was having some problems with my rental car, 1 of the staff is very helpful to solve the problem. The room is quite spacious and comfortable. It is not so near to the Dongmun market but if you rent a car then it is no issue. The parking is free, hotel car park is quite small but you can park along roadside. Overall I quite enjoyed my stay.

The hotel is 10 mins from the airport by taxi and has easy access to other attractions in Jeju (by bus). When you use the taxi to get here from the station just tell the taxi driver the hotel name and most of them will know the destination (the hotel name is pronounced as ‘aijin’).
Our room was fresh and clean.
The staffs were incredibly friendly and would give out helpful guides if you ask them.
They can speak English well and some even speak Japanese pretty well too.
Highly recommended.

Great room but couple use work on other things.

Great rooms. Only wished I could plug in my devices into the tv so I could enjoy my content. Also wished they had amenities like a clothes iron. Other than that it was great. Oh in a side note the breakfast pork had sand or dirt in it. They need to wash the fresh green onions better. Keep an eye out for that.

No ironing facilities. AC turned off at night and upon opening window was called asking us to close the window because of wind. They must conduct 'window partrols'. Maybe there have been previous problems with windows and wind (not nice to think about)! Of course, management could avoid such problems by generously allowing customers the use of the air conditioning that the hotel advertises as part of their facilities. Many Korean hotels have this practice and I suspect other hotels worldwide do the same. Money grabbers! The hotel breakfast was korean style (with scrambled egg and toast as well) - quite good standard and some variation day to day. All hotel staff were very helpful and friendly.

The staff at this hotel speak English well and are able to help me with directions, booking taxi etc. Greet us everytime we pass by too! The hotel is within walking distance to good eateries and 20min to Lotte mart, very convenient.

A Wonderful Stay

Overall experience staying in this hotel was beyond what I expected – Modern Design, Room is spacious and comfortable. Breakfast is good and healthy.

On my first of arrival to the hotel, Mr. Hyun , provided me with useful information when I just asked about any good places for me to visit and he guided me with clear instruction how to get to the food and shopping district that near the hotel.

Besides, I felt warm welcoming and greeting by all the receptionists with a smile when every time I went out and came back to the hotel.

On last day, Ms. Lee helped me to explain the taxi driver to get to the airport.

Once again, would like to say thanks you 감사합니다.

Check in staff is very patient and helpful. Gives a very good explanation and info on where and how to get around the city, in English as we are zero in korean other than kamsamida. Gives little surprises like a lucky dip, free beer coupon, nail care. Room clean and spacious as compared with Seoul. Double bed is bigger than those in Seoul, single is super single. Room amenities are business hotel type. On check out, helps in getting taxi and even load luggage to taxi. Tried giving tip but he didn't want to accept. Buffet breakfast was sufficient with general good spread of cereals, toast, juices, korean food salad etc

Super Comfort Hotel.

It was great I was able to book hotel. I didn't expect a lot since the price wasn't that much, I paid around seventh USD. But, the hotel is worth more than 100 a night. modernized design and a big hotel in such a small areas (you will understand what I mean once you are there). Parking wasn't that easy for there were only about 10 spots in B1 floor. I was told there are more extra parking space available in front of the building but I never had a chance to park there. All employees in the hotel are well trained and super friendly. Great hotel, highly recommended!

Budget Hotel for a comfortable stay

I spent 7 nights in this small hotel in late September. Services are generally good and staff are helpful. Room is clean and reasonably comfortable. Bathroom is spacious but short of cabinet/benches and hanging string/tools. Buffet breakfasts are satisfactory and better to serve more choices, particularly on salads and fruits. Bus stops and restaurants are within walking distance. Overall, this is a great choice of value.

Awesome 3 star hotel

For a 3 star hotel this was best affordable hotel i stayed in Jeju. Hotel staff go out of their way to sort you out even with limited english. No free breakfast, it costs i think 10 000wons. Room was clean and fresh everyday, you will find it hard to leave your room. Well done Benikea highly recommended

The hotel is nice, breakfast is ok. The staff tried to be helpful but do not really know how to speak english. Other hotel like jeju hotel is closer to city and has airport transfer but this hotel can only travel by taxi. It will cost around 5200-6000 depending on traffic condition.

Fantastic, spacious, centralized hotel in Jeju

Hotel is just a short 10mins drive away from Jeju Airport.
It is in close proximity to various food locations (Sashimi, Black Pork BBQ, Patbingsu, Horse Meat etc).
Room is spacious and clean, has a great cafe downstairs, really worth its price.

First thing, the receptionist (female) knows English that's good. But, sleeping quality not good as only one pillow provided. Sound proof not really good, as we can hear someone talking outside in the corridor. Location is not very convenient as well, as there are less shop/restaurant/convenient store around (it won't affect if you going by self-drive). Good thing is , below the hotel there are Mom's cake store which sells tasty cake. Cleanliness was okay-good. Air con were not in service for all room (April) , as they says open the window. The strong wind caused the door make some weird sound make me wake in the midnight. In the lift they give notice, strong wind tonight recommended not to open window for safety reason but there are no air conditioning, our room face to west which are so sunny and hot in the room.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The rooms were spacious and well-fitted, with comfortable beds and good amenities. Hotel location was good, though a little far from restaurants and the nearest convenience store, but we drove so this wasn't a problem for us. We were given ground-floor rooms, which were easily accessible and safe, while being private enough as they were tucked away in a corner. The only downside was when the toilet in one of the rooms had a plumbing issue. While this was promptly resolved by the staff during the day when we were out, some of my personal toiletries were removed/disposed of during the process (suspect that they may have been dirtied and hence thrown away); would have been nice for the staff to let us know.

Close proximity to Airport!

Hotel is good and clean. If you are not driving, may tend to be a little inconvenient to take public buses. However, taxi isn't that expensive to commute around though. The location is fairly near airport.

Location is Ok. But lack of parking space. If you go back late, you need to park nearby space. Anyway, lucky that there is no illegal parking space in Jeju.

Service is good, hotel needs carpets cleaned.

Average stay for this chain as we came from the Benikea in Jungmung and could not rave about it enough. I could not fault the service, as they were polite and helpful, but would recommend a deep carpet clean for the hotel as it was fairly stained. Slippers came in handy. I did like the shampoo provided as they gave you a 1 litre pump, as oppose to the little sample size ones. Baskin Robbins was walkable nearby so that was nice treat.

Excellent hotel in Jeju

Located near the airport, great price for this 4 star hotel. It was modern, clean and spacious. From here you can spend one day doing activities in the northern area and another day in the southern part of the area. We found parking every night. We visited nearby grocery stores like Lotte World and Emart. Lots of food and shopping around with a 5 min drive. They said we could walk to downtown area but it is 15-20 min walk. At night it's better to drive.
Ask the hotel to recommend places to eat nearby, they have a map of places they recommend.
As most Hotels in Asia the charge is per person rather than per room which is different from US.
The drive from one part of the island (south to north) could be very dark and foggy at night through the mountains. I advise you to start your day early and get back to the hotel before the sunset. We were a little scared driving through the mountains in such thick fog with low visibility ahead. Thank goodness we were able to follow other cars who also were driving super cautiously!

Very decent hotel, no frills.

Stayed at Benikea I-jin hotel recently and I found it to be a very decent hotel with all the basics needed. There are no pointless fancy facilities. It's just a hotel with a decent room, at a decent location with pleasing staff.

The room I was allocated to was spacious and pretty clean for the most part. The bathroom was fine except the showers was rather inconsistent with the water temperatures. I could make the water just warm enough but then in the next minute it can either become too hot or just ice cold. Not a major issue generally.

There is a controllable aircond in the room, but unfortunately on my second day of stay on wards I couldn't set the temperature on it anymore. Since it was pretty cool in Jeju around this time, I looked past the issue as the room didn't get warm at night.

As I rented a car, the free parking provided was definitely something I appreciated even if parking lots were quite limited. The location of the hotel however is a little awkward to get to, but at the same time access to the main roads going to the south, east or west parts of Jeju island is quite accessible.

Finally, I appreciate the treatment that I received from the cafe on the ground floor. The staff was cute, bubbly and kind. Good drinks and nice cafe food too!

They also didn't supply toothbrushes and told us it was illegal to supply disposable products, but other hotel provided. It isn't a bad stay, room was nice, but it does seem like a business hotel rather then family one. Parking was tiny and would not recommend at all if this would be an issue for you.

Clean, nice staff, 10 mins walk to the shopping area. At night, the small street near the hotel is very dark, you should walk the main street at the left side of the hotel. Go to the bus stop by taxi is about $4500 won. Breakfast is good and different every day. Must eat before 9am.

Overall the hotel is good to stay, with spacious room and yummy buffet breakfast. The only incident was that there is one time the room service forgot to lock the door after room service and left the room opened for the whole day until we came back and dscovered it. The staff were nice but not all of them can speak english, only simple communication can be made. Will still recommend this hotel to someone though.

Maybe my favorite hotel stay ever.

I think the bed was my favorite part! So comfortable and sheets were soft. Excellent pillows as well. Bed was a king which was a treat for my wife and I. The room was very dark and quiet at night which we loved. Bathroom was excellent, very clean, no mold or mildew. New facilities so no gross peeling wall paper or anything like that. Staff was friendly and spoke enough English to get us by. Breakfast buffet was excellent! Within a ten minute walk to shopping and great restaurants. 5 minute cab ride from the airport or bus terminal. Overall, we will definitely stay here when we visit Jeju again! I can't recommend it enough.

Extremely comfortable winter stay in upscale hotel

Our stay was just one night in early February 2016, but we will definitely be coming back to the Benikea I-Jin Hotel in spring or summer. The 5-minute taxi ride in rush hour traffic from the airport was about 5,000 KRW (about $4.15 USD). The hotel and rooms appeared to be remodeled recently in a modern Asian style. Our room was very clean and comfortable with floor-to-ceiling windows and new bedding, lighting, TV, and carpet. The night was below freezing outside with flurries of light snow, but the heating kept us extremely comfortable. The staff were very helpful to us and courteous. We had no problem communicating in English. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Jeju island.

The hotel was decent but was a little lacking in the room. It was a little small but the bathroom was huge. The location was in a good neighborhood with plenty of restaurants near by. Breakfast from 7-9 was a little early and short for a Saturday morning but the staff did allow us to go in after 9 to grab what was left.

Reasonable stay in Jeju Island. Average breakfast, not so friendly staff. Distant from busy downtown areas. A few restaurants nearby but that is it. Good value. Charge a $1,000 Wons for a shaving razor.

A little overpriced for what you get.

It's a business hotel and should be advertised that way. Staff was not friendly. We had a hard time communicating with them. All very young and a bit unprofessional. But the room was lovely. A very large bathroom with a rain shower. But definitely not the ideal spot for vacationers. Definitely catering to the businessman. The breakfast, however, was delicious. I would only recommend this place if you have an early flight and want to be super close to the airport.

오래된 호텔치고는 깨끗한편이었으나 의자앉는부분 못이 뚫고 나오는 상황(찔림)객실안 투자를 안한지 꽤 오랜된듯함.
화장실쪽 냄새도 별로임.
냉난방은 천장형 시스템으로 조절해야하는데 공기가 탁해서 살펴보니 필터 청소 놓친부분이 보임.
직원들이 친절하다는 평들이 많았던게 이해가 갔음. 친절함.
근처 편의점,식당.까페가 있어 편리함.
건너편으로 롯데시네마 있음
