I had a extremely bad experience with check-in. A balcony was requested for my room, however, I was told that the $257 I paid for the room was not sufficient for a room with balcony, even though my booking stated that it does. There is no bellman after roughly 8pm. Which is discouraging because after a long flight, customs, and everything else that comes with international travel, you have to lug your bags around on unsanitized carts. My room was definitely not as expected. The bathroom is filthy and clogged, along with hairs on the floor. Front desk staff refused my request and truly had no care for my safety as a female solo traveler.

As a solo traveler, I checked in, under the impression that I would feel safe (as I do at various other hotels). Wrong! I was put into a room with a connecting door to another room and no key. This hotel feels extremely strange. They have uneven square cuts on the ceiling that gives you access to the roof and full view of other rooms through the smoke detector. Save your money, go elsewhere. Staff is unable to help with concerns due to lack of empathy and consideration. Not to mention, I was finally given another room, with only one king bed as opposed to the 2 queens that I paid for. This is an experience k could have very well lived without.

Fellow travelers and tourists of the suriname, please look elsewhere for your stay. I will only stay 2 nights here and never return again.

Ramada is in a good location. Restaurants and bars nearby. The ground floor is a casino so there is no lobby area really. There is also a night club for entertainment. Rooms were cleanand comfortable.

The rooms were modern and spacious. The facility was clean. The breakfast area on the rooftop was scenic and beautiful, and staff was very helpful and pleasant. It is a pity that the entire round floor is a casino and there is little to no lobby area for guests. Also, the hallways are so narrow that on one night was constantly awakened by a neighbouring guest opening and closing their door very loudly. it was surprising that no body lotion provided in the rooms.

The room was better than expected knowing other Princess hotels owned around the Caribbean owned by the same people. Roon had everything needed although bot too big. We asked for maintenance to fix a running toilet the first day and they did check but it never got fixed durong the 7 days we stayed. Breakfast was better than what most hotels in North America serve.

Great location-walking distance to Fort Zeelandia, presidential palace and central old town historic area. Reception desk arranged airport transfer,($20US/pp), in advance of arrival. Excellent buffet breakfast included. Nice relaxing rooftop pool/restaurant area. Note: some booking sites put hotel in wrong map location. It is actually located about 100 metres north-west of the Palmendin,(palm tree park), on Kleine Waterstraat. Fort Zeelandia is located across the street from the park. Overall, the staff were very helpful and friendly. English was widely spoken.

Very nice hotel but watch your money at reception

Very nice spacious room. Was all white which made it seem very clean... And it was very clean. Nice rooftop bar and pool with excellent friendly service. Very good breakfast.
Only negative was at checking out at 7:30am. I was due $10 change and the young East Asian receptionist said she had no change and as the casino was closed she said there was no money in the till. I told her very tersely that it was ridiculous for a big Ramada hotel to have no cash on hand and that I was due $10, I wanted it now, and it was her problem to fix. She looked grim but after 30 seconds she opened the cash drawer and handed me the $10. I hate it when staff try to scam you like that. Gives the hotel a bad name.

I stayed at the Ramada Princess Hotel for 5 days & 4 nights.My entire stayed and interractions with the staff was extermly unpleasant and uncomfortable. Cheryl on the rooftop,the IT manager & Yeen at the front desk are the only employees with good customer service skills that they are using. All three of them made me feel welcome & satisfied .Most of the staff at this Hotel needs training to deal with international traveler's. For example I had to asked for wash cloths.This should be standard.

Nice Hotel - extremely rude staff.

I made a reservation to stay one night and then I added three days more to my stay at the Ramada Princess Hotel so far my stay have been very stressful and I am very unhappy with the service I received so far.In addition speaking with the manager is like requesting a visit from a president of any country impossible.The hotel staff isn't train to deal with international traveler's and some of them are very rude for front desk representative.
All the staff on the four floor are very nice & friendly unfortunately we can't stay on the 4th floor because it is the rooftop.

The Hotel was perfect, very nice room, clean. One negative point was on friday night we could not sleep due to the extremely hard music from the disco on the first floor. We had a room (208) on the second floor. Otherwise we had a very nice stay in the hotel, I do recommend to everybody.

Service was mediocre and needs to be improved. Hotel staff needs to be better educated in hospitality service. Hotel staff should pay more attention to details. Errors were made in payment processing, lost laundry, incorrect billing. The wifi was poor and requires a lot of improvement.
More work by hotel management is required to make your stays comfortable and stress free.

Good hotel; Security staff are absolute idiots!

Overall a good experience, until the last day. Security staff denied me entrance to the hotel's side entrance (after I had been using it for almost 2 weeks) and refused to allow me to walk through the casino to the front elevators. I was made to walk in the rain outside the building to the front elevator.

There was no reason given. I decided not to argue with an idiot with a gun.

Truly disappointing after an overall good stay.

Horrível. O ar condicionado posicionado literalmente em cima da cama, jogando o fluxo de ar direto na cabeça do hóspede.

Para quem tem um leve resfriado, rinite ou algo parecido, após uma noite é hospital na certa.

O piso do banheiro muito escorregadio( porcelanato) se pisar com pé molhado, já era.
Di box nem se fala. Como o ralo não vencia o volume de água e acumulava a espuma do shampoo, para se manter em pé só se segurando nas laterais.

Pior que andar em neve congelada.

Altíssimo risco de quedas.

The room was beatiful and its a ten minute walk to the stores, however, asking questions to the staff felt unwelcome and in the lounche and restaurant both, we were forgotten with the empty glasses for about an hour(not once). At least better places in the neighbourhood. The swimmingpool was in maintenance, that happens but a restday at the hotel was impossible because of the noice and we had no swimmingpool wich i partly chose the hotel for. I dont recommend unless just for sleeping.

Het Ramada Princess hotel is een fantastische locatie. Wij zijn hier in het verleden als koppel en nu ook voor het eerst met onze zoon gekomen en de service en kwaliteit is nog steeds excellent. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en enorm behulpzaam. De kamers zijn voortreffelijk; brand schoon, erg comfortabel en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het ontbijt buffet is ongeevenaard goed en de dames die het buffet verzorgen zijn enorm aardig en behulpzaam, niets is onmogelijk en je wordt verwend als gast met goede service, vers bereide gerechten en heerlijke speciale koffie en/of thee soorten. Het rooftop restaurant, het zwembad, de discotheek, het teppan yaki restaurant en natuurlijk ook het casino op de begane grond zijn absoluut allemaal aanraders. Wat ons betreft is de kwaliteit en prijs verhouding veruit de beste in Suriname/Paramaribo. Vele malen beter dan Marriot of Torarica. Wij komen zeker iedere vakantie die we in Suriname doorbrengen voor een aantal dagen terug naar Ramada, zonder twijfel.
