I am very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. The room was not clean, the service was unprofessional, and the overall experience did not match what was promised. Basic facilities were either missing or not working properly. I expected much better for the price I paid. I do not recommend this hotel and I will not be staying here again.

I recently spent four nights at a hotel in Karachi with my family, and it was worth every cent. As a Karachi native, I usually stay with relatives, but this time I chose a hotel to give my children a more engaging experience—and it was the best decision. Mixed Experience – Friendly Staff but Some Comfort

The staff were friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. However, there were a few issues that affected my stay. There was an internet outage that, although eventually resolved, caused some inconvenience. Additionally, the room had an unusual odor, and the sound from the air conditioning unit was quite disruptive. With some improvements, the experience could be much better.

I enjoyed my stay at MovenPick. Facility was clean and updated. The cleaning staff on the 3rd floor was extremely friendly and kept our room in very good condition.
Mr. Iqbal Noor and his cleaning staff, Shaukat and Shamim Eric kept the rooms in very good condition and really made our stay very comfortable.

The staff at the gym Mr. Arman David and Mr. Mangal and Mr. Chaman kept the gym and pool area in excellent condition. I will definitely recommend MovenPick to other friends and family members. Thank you!

Stayed here on a visit from the US with my two adult kids. We felt very safe in this hotel. They take precautions to protect guests while also offering great amenities. The food was awesome (esp the buffet breakfasts!) and our rooms were very clean and comfortable. Great facilities available onsite. I would definitely stay here again.

Generally good but with some clear downsides

The hotel staff are great and the rooms are comfortable. The internet works well and the powercuts you might face in other luxury hotels in Pakistan don't happen here. However, there are some downsides. The hotel and rooms are a little bit dated and there are stains on carpets etc.. Although the staff were kind enough to let me check in early, unfortunately I was given a smoking room - I didn't realize at first because they used some perfume to cover it up, and by the time that had faded away, I had already settled in.

Great value for money though.

Had a great experience at Movenpick Karachi. Service is top notch all around - from bell service to servers at the dining area. Breakfast selections were amazing, including halwa poori everyday, and they will make fresh tea of your liking upon request. Hi tea on Fri/ Sat/ Sun is super for the price. They also have a complimentary chocolate hour where you can indulge in some fine chocolates in the evening. Spa/ gym area was very nice and the outdoor pool looked very clean (although I didn't try either). The staff was also very courteous - they'll help carry your bag to your room or to the car (super five stars for them)! Daily cleaning was to perfection as well.

Only downside was you have to request an iron every time and place it outside when you're done. Room service was prompt, but the only downside was when I ordered a dinner item and tea, I suppose they started making tea at the same time and it got done earlier and was delivered lukewarm. Apart from these minor incidents, the stay was perfect!

Shopping at Clifton or Sadr is just within 15 mins and there's always cabs nearby that can be requested. Highly recommended for their service and ideal location.

The renovations of the hotel lobby area were really good. Nice fresh and modern look. Rooms have always been very comfortable, I have stayed here several time before.

One down side was that the balconies have been permanently sealed. They were open in the past.

The guy at checkout was extremely disrepectful. He asked me three times if I had taken anything from the minibar. When I replied in the negative all three times, he started explaining to me what a minibar was. I found it highly disrespectful and this ruined overall amazing experience of the hotel.

The hotel was under a major lobby renovation which was why I didn’t give them a perfect score. Their people handled it as well as possible but it was cramped and noisy in the lobby until it’s completed. Rooms are redone and they are nice and comfortable. The whole hotel staff is friendly beyond measure and can’t do enough for you. I was sick and one of the bell men went outside the hotel to get me medicine. Well done.

This a an excellent hotel, where the staff gives a feeling of luxury. Overall the staff is very caring, friendly, helpful and always make you feel very comfortable.
The only thing I felt missing is that since it’s business district, didn’t find anything to do on walking distance from the hotel other than visiting and taking walks at the Ferrer building park.

The staff were exemplary in their attitude towards customer service. I really could not fault them.

The only thing I would like to see improved is around ‘incidental’ cleanliness. I’m thinking about simple things like cleanliness of light switches, etc, which were ‘grubby’.

I only mention this because the staff were so helpful with things like extra water, turndown, shoe polishing, etc., that I think a few minutes extra on minor incidental cleaning would be such a big improvement and could be at the expense of cleaning shoes and turning beds down.

The cleanliness of the room wasn’t good,the teacups were not washed,I never got the room I paid for.Since this is a five star hotel I thought these things would automatically be done .Due to the lack of time of my stay I had I could not complain to the hotel direct.I did I ask room service to come and see the teacups.The room had dust on the cabinets,the shower did not drain the water properly.These are not the things that I expected from a five star hotel.My room number was 245. I think you should speak to the management team about these issues as I don’t think staff are working properly at the hotel.
