Extremely unsatisfactory room, rude staff and non cooperative management. Booked a non-smoking room but was given a smoking room. Hotel asked for additional money never checked in and property refuses to refund any amount even though they could have easily refunded one night since booking was for two nights. Not recommended.

I chose this property because it’s conveniently located near the airport. The latte I ordered was unfortunately terrible, and the spa was quite expensive. I didn’t try the food, so I can’t comment on that. However, the customer service was excellent, and the room was in great condition. They offer forex services with a better exchange rate compared to nearby options.

Not bad for business trips. It’s close to industrial zones and the airport, so it’s convenient for short stays. However, in terms of value for money, it falls short. The prices are on par with luxury hotels, but the service and overall experience are just average.

I booked 2 rooms for my son and I, due to a family event we were unable to stay the first night booked so I phoned the Ramada and they said it wasn’t a problem and we could check on the following day any time as there was 24 hour checkin I arrived the following day with my son only to be told that the booking had been cancelled as we had not checked in the previous day I had told them I phoned up but they told me they didn’t have any rooms left. They then went to speak to the manager and 20 mins later came back to offer me two rooms but at an extortionate price Apparently according to my cousins this is the system they use in Pakistan where they cancel your booking and then offer you another room at a much higher price I told them this was not acceptable as I was now hotel less They did not make any kind of apology to me. They kept me waiting 20 minutes to tell me about the over priced room they had found I felt I was treated extremely bad as a single woman travelling with her son in Karachi,I would not recommend this hotel even though the pictures look luxurious and accommodating the treatment from the staff (who were all men) was totally unacceptable and misogynist. I would not recommend the Ramada for this reasonThey even charged me for the first night which I had not stayed in for both rooms and did not even contact me by email or phone to let me know they had cancelled my rooms.Thought this would be good manners and standard procedure in the UK, not in Pakistan SHOCKING!

Disappointing Experience

I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Ramada Plaza Karachi Airport Hotel, but unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The hotel feels like a rip-off, with a dire need for refurbishment. The reception staff seemed more interested in adding unnecessary charges, even for basic interactions, which was quite unusual.
The room I was shown in the pictures was spacious with a separate living area, but upon arrival, I was given a tiny, cramped space. While the bed was comfortable, the overall condition of the room was disappointing. The washrooms were particularly disturbing, and I would strongly advise bringing your own toiletries as the ones provided were of poor quality.
The breakfast hall was disgustingly dirty, which further added to my disappointment. Overall, I would recommend exploring other options for a more pleasant stay in Karachi.

The security of the hotel is at a good level, but I do not recommend staying on the garden floor. The rooms of my friends who stayed on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the main building were better. I leave the towels on the floor to be changed, but when I return, I find them picked up and hung back instead. The open buffet is rich, but from the 2nd day of my stay until the 10th day, I kept having stomach issues, and I couldn’t figure out why. In general, the people are nice, and the staff is respectful. I can’t say it’s a price-performance hotel because, for the same price, I can stay in better places in the city center.

Unfortunately, I chose to stay here due to proximity to the airport, however nothing changes.

1) shuttle service decides to wait for other passengers on other flights even though the hotel is 5 min drive away.

2) check in takes an age, its a very busy airport hotel and usually rhey have trainees on the desk who are not proficient and have to wait for a senior. Same as last 2 stays last year.

3) hotel doesnt do pre auth, you must prepay the whole stay which is annoying as it means I have multiple invoices ans receipts (dinners, transport etc) which I usually pay once on check out attracting only 1 card charge.

4) 'Exec room' on 3rd floor was very small, no ironing facilities, duvet was stained and phone not working. I reported to reception who did clean the duvet but phone still not working.

6) wifi in the room very patchy, same as my last stays unfortunately.

Otherwise, staff is generally pleasant.

Very bad staff attitude

One of the worst experiences I have ever seen. The reception staff is very rude and unprofessional. One of the room service entered my room at night while I was out and took the iron without my permission and the receptionist did nothing regarding this issue even though they don't have a complaint form to fill they just gave me a white paper to write my complain.

Amazing service for 1+ month stay!!

My stay was extended unexpectadely for more than a month, but the hotel staff and management made it really a comfortable stay for me. They immediately upgraded by stay to the Executive floor that included an amazing all-day executive lounge. Staff of all departments from front desk to cleaners, to the security and restaurant staff gave me amazing serivce, repect and company. They were all very accomodating of my demands, I specifically want to give a shout to Adeel in front desk, Irfan in the restaurant, Jibran and Kashan in executive lounge and lastly but not the least very hardworker Umer on Pool side BBQ and his manager Mr Samson who never said no to my late night dining demands!!

Indeed it was a very memorable stay and anytime i would be in Karachi city, it will be my stay!!

Terrible customer service and dishonest group of individuals. Claimed my reservation didn't exist and wanted me to pay the difference. Charged 150$ for taking photos around the area with our photographer for our wedding. Demanded cash when reservations were already done online. I carried no cash except for my MasterCard, their worker called me to confirm my stay and photoshoot were all included. Only afterwards the shoot was done they demanded cash only for onsite photography. Terrible experience, turned our wedding night into a nightmare.

The only pros were that the staff at breakfast were professional and courteous and made sure to attend to needs and the taxi driver from the airport was also courteous.

Cons:
Everything else.
1. Room filled with mosquitos. Unclean. Super small. Not worth $100 by ANY stretch of the imagination. This hotel is not worth the name brand AT ALL. Every guest here seemed to be pissed off - rightly. I guess we all booked online expecting a 5 star hotel, but this hotel barely deserves a 1 star.

2. Extremely unprofessional front desk. Extremely rude and have not been taught the meaning of customer service. At check out, they did not even say \"thank you\" or \"hope your stay was pleasant.\" It looked like we were at some kind of prison camp and disturbing them by even being there.

Just don't go here. Weird vibes, unclean unsanitary environment. Even the glasses kept in the room had fingerprints. Everything was simply gross.

To conclude, you'll regret booking there.

Standard airport hotel

It's a pretty standard airport hotel. Things work relatively well but nothing is outstanding. Their airport transit is horribly overpriced for what it is, but it is within walking distance of the airport (2.5kms). Rooms and beds are comfortable enough, but there are some downsides - e.g. the water pressure in my shower was not great and there was a stain on my blanket.

Brief but all in all a good stay.

From start to finish from the pick up to the airport to lobby service and back to the airport was great. The hotel was informed of my early arrival and early departure. While there was a little wait to check in they accommodated me and offered me access to breakfast too.
The rooms and the hotel does need to be updated in decor and furnishings it's looking tired, but it's clean and tidy and i felt security safe too.

This property is located at a very convenient spot by the airport. No traffic issues. Grounds are kept immaculately clean. General layout is excellent, lots of greenary, poolside dining should not be missed. Live entertainment daily at night. Breakfast is included with variety of local and international cuisine options. Staff are very pleasant and helpful. They will make your stay a memorable one. If any question or concerns, Mr Jamil Tanoli will always be there to help you. Highly recommend if you're looking for a high end hotel in Karachi.

Start with Breakfast, very disappointment. Bathroom water keep clogging, and NO iron in room and when you ask for one, it will take sometime to get it sine they have only one in this hotel. Wifi is sucks drops alot. So nothing good to say about this hotel. I will not use this hotel location ever.
