Visiting from the United States, I was blown away by the hospitality of the hotel staff and overall quality of service at Pearl Continental Lahore. I highly highly recommend for any one visiting Lahore to stay at the PC. From world class artwork from Sadequine to high quality restaurants, I found everything there. The hotel has correctly represented Pakistan through hospitality and quality.

Things I liked:
Location of hotel; Mall Road.
Quality of service (staff) was good; courteous staff.
Room was clean.
Airport pickup and drop service was efficient.
Good WiFi connection in the room.
TV: Many channels/choices.

Weaknesses/Needed improvements:
Room was not ready regarding water bottles; fruit tray, few bathroom items, etc.
Dated/old furniture in the room; spots on chairs and sofa; needed thorough cleaning.
Old carpet in the room; will require replacement.
AC thermostat, not properly working.
Breakfast buffet: Limited fruit choices; do not provide canned fruit; yogurt was not available.
Laundry service was slow; also quality of washing was sub-standard.
Executive lounge: Food choices were pretty limited. Provide more food items especially fruit and vegetables.
Hotel lobby: Provide more chairs to sit in the waiting area.
Transportation/rental car prices were somewhat high.

Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing and far below the standards.

Upon arrival, we were assigned a room that was in an unacceptable condition and clearly not ready for guests. Only after repeated complaints and insistence on speaking with management were we moved to another room by a newly recruited manager. While the second room was an improvement, it still failed to meet the standards promised by the hotel.

The service was equally frustrating. A simple request for tea took approximately 45 minutes to arrive, and when it did, it was served in a torn tea cosy. Guests were also expected to share an iron, which is unacceptable for a hotel claiming to offer a luxury experience.

When we reported that the closet light would not switch off, a staff member's solution was to pull out the wiring entirely so the light would never turn on again. This was highly unprofessional and raised concerns about the hotel's maintenance standards.

The room itself showed clear signs of neglect. The lamp hardware was damaged, the bathtub had permanent stains and marks, and several fixtures appeared worn and poorly maintained.

We booked this hotel expecting a premium experience. Instead, we received service and accommodations that felt closer to a two-star property while paying five-star prices. The disparity between what was advertised and what was delivered was significant. Will not recommend this hotel!

Breakfast was also average, and the staff appeared quite tired or perhaps overburdened. Very disappointing stay at PC Hotel Lahore. The cleanliness was terrible the bathroom was dirty, the room felt outdated, and the entire property is clearly run down. We had already mentioned that the booking was for 3 people, but the room was not properly set up for 3 guests. There were no extra towels provided, and basic facilities were missing.

For a supposed 4-star hotel, this experience was awful. The furniture and devices are ancient, and many things simply do not work properly. The hotel seriously needs renovation and much better maintenance standards.

The only good thing about this hotel is the free airport shuttle service. Apart from that, everything else was horrible. Definitely not worth the price or the rating.

No Airport pick up provided, despite it’s clearly noted in Expedia booking comments. No one from Hotel reached out to me for any details or confirmation. Called them ahead of time to confirm about the Airport pickup and I was assured it will be done but didn’t happen. Requested for additional mattress but despite repeated requests nothing was provided. At the time of check out when I complained about these issues to check out staff rather then believing me, they started to look into confirm that if I m lying about notes in the Expedia request. Instead of some kind of assurance that it was an honest mistake and they will look into that and will do something about that, staff handed over the POS terminal to pay the food charges. Gesture is …. So what if that Airport service is missed or despite my repeated requests nothing additional mattress was provided. At that time, I simply paid and walked out and with a commitment to myself, not to go back there again.

To start with, even after confirming 2 times before travel no one picked us up from airport and we had to book a taxi and make our own way. When asked about it i got no reply. Then the room given to us was dirty and disgusting which i took photos and showed to duty officer. Dirty tables, dirty bath and broken shower were the few photos i took. They changed my room but the new room was not clean either. I took photos of ripped duvet which i did not complained and they did not change for 3 days and then i took pictures and showed it to duty officer but he did not do anything. Then there was this PSL team was arriving so they send us notice that they will change our room, lucky it was our last day. Overall worst experience ever.i will upload pictures if i get option for people to see the 5 star Hotel of Pakistan. Its a shame that the standards have gone down drastically and no one cares because it still runs on full capacity as many people don't know better or they don't say anything. For me it was the worst stay ever i have had in my entire life. Stressful time I'm glad is over after 14 long days and big dent on my pocket. If anyone want proof i have photos i clicked.
Last bit they also cut water supply on one night in the name of maintenance.
Please avoid this hotel.

It was a comfortable bed with a quality mattress. The hotel itself is pretty rundown. Cleanliness was not there really or perfunctory. For the amount of money charged, it couldn't even deliver quality or service equivalent to a good motel.

The good points were it was safe, comfortable and had tolerable breakfast. There was history and a certain old world elegance to it. The staff tried hard but at baseline it seemed chaotic.

The service was slow and coffee took a while. The staff mistook an Americano with drip twice at breakfast :) The buffet was decent but not exceptional. The kids loved the fresh eggs and pancakes, a definite plus. People were super friendly and helpful.

I came in 2021 and I found stains on the pillow case. I thought it’s under new management and it would have changed. This time I found stains on my bath towel. There was a round hole in the ceiling above my bed. The furniture is tatty and tied. Needs replacing. Pillows are probably the worse I have ever come across.

Breakfast s mediocre. I asked for hash browns and was given what looked like pakoras or onion bajis. Was told these are a form of hash browns. Iron and ironing table is of high demand apparently so is taken from your room immediately.

I can’t watch the TV because of the room layout. One of the posts on the four poster bed comes directly int he centre of the screen.

I have to say the cleaning staff are so polite. Sajawal at reception is excellent and gets the job done when approached. Very professional.

It’s very sad to see such an amazing hotel going to ruins.

The bathtub had visible stains, the carpets were badly discolored, and the AC did not work for the first two days of my stay, which made the room extremely uncomfortable. The overall cleanliness and maintenance were clearly lacking. For the price paid, I expected a much better standard. Unfortunately, this stay was not worth the money, and I would not return.

Things that need improvement: 1-there should be one line at check in counter which should serve multiple counters as first come first serve.2- people( clients) in executive lounge are very loud at times. There should be a sign in the lounge to ask the clients to respect the privacy of other clients. . 3- it would be helpful if there is a sliding ramp while coming from back of the hotel to role the bags if needed.

My experience at this hotel was disappointing, primarily due to poor housekeeping and ineffective customer service. Despite repeated requests, my room was not cleaned properly. Dirty towels were folded and left in the bathroom, the toilet was not cleaned adequately, and used glasses and cups were repeatedly left in the room. Although I contacted housekeeping several times and was assured the issue would not occur again, no improvement was made.

Furthermore, the customer service staff was unresponsive and failed to take my concerns seriously. Many of the issues I raised were ignored, which significantly impacted my overall experience.

I had also informed the hotel that I was staying to celebrate my birthday; however, there was no acknowledgment or complimentary gesture. Overall, the service did not meet acceptable hospitality standards, and I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

My stay at this hotel was for 3 nights. 3 words sum up my experience...
I expected better...
The main thing that was disappointing was attention to detail...so many things could have been better with a little more effort..
Spoke to the counter staff about my concerns but failed to get any meaningful response.
For a hotel of this size and prestige, I expected that an ironing table & iron should have been in the room permanently.
When we checked in at 4.30pm, our room was not ready..
No towels in the room...they had to be requested...
Many items in breakfast were not labeled correctly, leading to wastage...
Room service items were left in the corridor for over 12 hours in front of the room doors..not picked up...

PC is an iconic brand, which is why I chose it for my short 2-night stay in Lahore while traveling from Chicago. Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing. While the hotel security and general ambiance were acceptable, that is where the positives end.

The check-in process was chaotic and disorganized, with no clear line or direction. Staff appeared overwhelmed and disengaged. The room itself was unacceptable and frankly disgusting for a property charging over $100 per night. There were visible stains on the pillows, couch, and bedding, and parts of the room were visibly falling apart due to poor construction and maintenance.

I requested a room change immediately, but was told the hotel was fully booked, leaving me stuck in a room that did not meet even basic cleanliness standards. This is not what anyone expects from a premium brand, especially after a long international journey.

Overall, this stay fell far below expectations and standards. I would strongly advise travelers to stay away from this property until serious improvements are made in cleanliness, maintenance, and guest service.

Terrible stay at this hotel. Management does not answer calls and is very rude. They have cut down frontline staff by 50%. The carpets and rooms are extremely dirty, and the entire building smells of smoke and dampness. The shower doors are broken, and the toilets, sinks, and carpets are badly stained. and there is absolutely no customer service from anyone at this hotel.

I booked two rooms: one for myself and another for my mother’s relatives visiting from Pakistan.

Housekeeping was never done daily as promised, and staff lied about it being completed. Beds were not made, and the rooms remained extremely dirty. The front desk manager lacks any customer service skills. The frontline staff appear frustrated, as only two people are expected to clean 69–80 suites. No one answer phone calls, you have to go down to reception if you need anything and it will take them hrs and days to send someone and you need to keep reminding them..

I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

PC standard's are so low, towels with red stains , rooms have old damaged carpets even in executive room , no fruit baskets , reception is a total disaster one receptionist handling 5 out of control guests . Even guests are with such low standards the way they talk , carrying luggage in grocery bags .

the best part about Lahore PC is the breakfast--lots of options of delicious food. They offer free airport transfer which is convenient however they are notoriously slow at responding to email. Front desk is also slow at check in--it was busy and took a while for them to get to us and they had trouble finding reservation. However, I have stayed here before and I arrived much earlier than check in and they kindly accommodated me that time. The hotel needs some updating-the carpet and some of the finishing show age and wear. There is a shopping arcade on the sub-mezzanine level which is convenient also for some souvenir shopping.

spotless rooms, all amenities present. However the shaving kits are very very basic and poor qualities, causing many abrasions to the skin. Surely these could be improved . The safety box did not work.The menu at Marco Pole was rather monotonous , I stayed I stayed 12 days and got bored with the never changing menu. The front desk is very helpful, at times they are mobbed by the unruly guests who pay no attention to making a que for their turn, instead create a rukus and shouting. It is very troublesome.

I would give the hotel 2 stars, 1 star for their front desk manager Miss Mehak who was fabulous and 1 star for the free transportation to the airport which was very convenient.

We booked 2 non-smoking rooms, requested interconnected or side by side since we were traveling with minors. For the first 3 nights I must have spent at least 4-5 hours day chasing people to get the right rooms. We were given smoking rooms every time, the staff is well trained at deflecting the issue rather than solving. The only exception was Miss Mehak, who was courteous, helpful and resolved the issue for us.

PC used to be one of the best hotels in Lahore but not so much anymore, the rooms are dated, if you do plan to stay make sure you get the renovated rooms and also plan on being inundated with cigarette smoke everywhere.

The airport transfer is very nice and convenient, the lobby area is always nice and lively.

I was very disappointed, hope that the management makes some changes to bring back this icon to its glory days.

Very disappointing experience. I purchased these rooms for my daughter’s in laws for her wedding. The gave them outdated single bedding rooms with outdated bathrooms. According to my guest they probably changed it to king room. I hope they didn’t charge them extra money. If they did it will be very embarrassing for me. Also breakfast experience was very unpleasant with no space and seating.

Whilst there is a buzz as this hotel is centrally based for Lahore attractions, the rooms and furniture are outdated and need upgrading to bring this hotel back to true 5*. Breakfast is ok, though it takes a while to get your morning tea lol. Highlight was the young friendly, bubbly receptionist Eesha. So, so lovely and helpful, as were the staff in the Exec Lounge.

Night mare, from front desk to everyone. The room was filthy, and suffocating. Bedsheet were dirty. I the bathroom, there was a small tiny half filled small about 10 ml unlabeled bottle probably for shampoo. Towels were smelly, worn out. Hair dryer, and refrigerator were disgusting. I was terrified about the condition of overall. We moved to a different hotel, which was so much better than PC. Advise to everyone is please don’t waste your money. The hotel is not worth staying.
