We loved the pool. It was nice to cool off in the hot afternoons.
The staff were very helpful.
The room was clean although none of the soap , shampoo etc dispensers didn’t not work.

It is unsafe to drink or clean teeth the local tap water- but all water had to be purchased. Brian at the front desk told us about a local corner shop where we could go to get large 2lt bottles of water and other snacks.

We had to find a place to stay in a pinch after our flight got canceled, and luckily, we ended up at El Pueblito! It was pretty close to the airport as well as a quick trip to some other areas with places to shop or eat. The staff was lovely and accommodating. The place itself was tucked into a little oasis! It was a comfortable and restful place to stay.

I wouldn't stay here for the food or gym because the gym was closed for no particular reason and the meat was really tough; they also took around half an hour to make it and despite making arrangements for pick up we had to wait an hour for our transportation from the airport to the hotel. The shower also clogged after one use; wouldn't stay here again unless I wanted to deal with any of these or other problems.

What stood out was the receptionists. They were amazing. They arranged taxi for us even when we were out needing a taxi back to hotel. They also shared their insights of specifics of the falls from both countries. It allowed us to arrange travel while there and visited both. Not a complaint but like perspective visitors to know that the hotel itself doesn’t exchange cash. A taxi driver took us to an exchange in town to do that. Having cash is very convenient. Also in Xmas and new eves, most restaurants are closed with a handful open with special menus that are 5 to 10 times the normal price. Xmas day or New Year’s Day is back to normal.

Cute, eco-friendly and safe

Cute hotel in a good location for getting to the falls and into town. After going into the town centre twice, we were glad we stayed outside it a bit, felt safer. Facilities here are a bit older but well maintained, it looks just like the pictures. We liked the eco feel and the nice details like butterfly garden, turtles and little animal sanctuary. We were happy with both the free breakfast and had dinner at the restaurant one night. The restaurant staff were very friendly and patient with our bad Spanish - front reception spoke English very well and helped with lots of bus/taxi advice.

Guestroom was spacious, clean and comfortable. Amenities lacking. No hand soap, hairdryer did not work, and limited towels. The animal habitat behind the hotel was atrocious. The poor animals were kept in dirty and cramped conditions. I wish I had not seen it. Although we had requested two beds in the room, we were assigned a room with one bed, and after demanding a change were accommodated.

A perfect place when visiting the Falls.

The property has had some wear and tear. If you expect it to be like a four seasons, she will be disappointed if your expectations are more reasonable it’s just fine.
The restaurant had good variety, I had the tenderloin, which was very tasty, but certainly nowhere near as tender as I am accustomed to. I would still recommend it.

I booked this hotel because it looked so unique and cute, tucked away in a mini forest. I really wanted to like it, however it just didn’t hit the mark. First, it’s off the main road so there is incredibly loud road noise all night, there was no hot water in my room and the sink would randomly turn itself on, the internet also did not work in my room (essential for international travelers) and I also didn’t have any cell service or 3/4G in the room. Therefore, I had to take private family calls in the main hotel lobby as this was the only place I could access service. I also chose to eat dinner at the hotel restaurant… don’t. It was the worst burger I’ve ever eaten, figured Argentina was known for beef so should have been edible at least. I ate the bread from the bun and went to bed without having eaten lunch or dinner that day because the burger was like rubber. The positives were that the staff was very nice and helpful, the bed was very comfortable and appreciated that they had a duvet instead of light blanket for covers, and breakfast was included and had a decent spread. It’s also close to the falls, so convenient for a cab to Brazilian side or to Argentinian.

Beautiful territory - a kind of tropical park. Really good breakfast. Comfortable bed. However, my room was a disappointment - it did not look like the one on the picture - it was not large and was rather gloomy and damp, jalousie had to be closed because the window faced the gallery with neighbour's doors and there were no curtains. Overall it is not a bad property. Just the location is not in the centre of town so it is a long walk or need to take taxi if you need something from the supermarket or to do a laundry. Wifi signal in room is overall stable in room. The biggest issue is with the free airport transfer offer we had. it doesn't mention we need to make reservation 48 hours in advance for both ways. I called a day before and was turned down of this snervice. Then I was told I can book anytime for the transfer from hotel to airport. However when I tried to book on the day of departure then was told I needed to book a day in advance. if this is the case why we were not reminded upon check-in? I somehow think the hotel doesn't really want to honour this offer to us.

Complex outside of town and has a very interesting Biosphere right next to it. Walking trail through the jungle with a variety of birds and wildlife. Very quiet place to sit on your deck or around the pool and listen to the sounds around you. We had an issue with our room and staff quickly upgraded us to a larger more comfortable room.

The setting and environment surrounding the hotel is quite lovely and the greenery gives a lovely relaxing, calming feel. Beautiful. Breakfast could be improved but is fairly simillar to other hotels in South America. Coffee varied from day to day, strange!, especially in a continent where some of the worlds best coffee is produced. This is, however, something that can be remedied. Other than that cannot fault the hotel, staff were friendly and helpful and rooms were kept really clean. Would definitely return. 😊

Hotel Cancelled on Arrival Day-Gave Room to Others

Hotel cancelled my prepaid room via email at 2 p.m. on my arrival day so that a group that was already staying there could stay an extra day. And, let me make clear, we were in contact just the day before making pickup arrangements for the airport--the room was confirmed, paid, and the owner was expecting me. Without my consent to cancel or redirect my PREPAID room (for two days), they booked me into a big city tourist hotel and deprived me of my planned \"jungle-type\" hotel experience. Moreover they booked me into a lesser rated hotel--and I'm very picky about this. Even the people at my new hotel (which is fine but not what I wanted) were surprised that I was treated so poorly. Pueblito apologized and covered this room but it doesn't make up for what they took took away, not to mention the exhaustion, anger and stress caused by the betrayal--which sounds strongly worded, but isn't that exactly what it is? Spent several hours in the airports wondering where I would end up at midnight on my first day in Puerto Iguazu.

Ideally located in the middle of a small park, all you need in Iguazu as the town itself is nothing special. The staff was exceptional, rooms were very big and breakfast extremely generous.
We stayed 2 night and had dinner at the restaurant which is a bit pricey for the Argentinian average but the food was excellent. Not a big menu, but it was ok for a short stay.
The swimming pool is not big, but it is more than enough and the surroundings are just amazing.

Spacious rooms decorated with local artwork. Our reservation stated that free airport transfer was available on request but the hotel asked us to pay when we requested it a day before our departure. After we mentioned that it should be included, they said ok and to confirm again the next morning, at which point we were told that there was no space in the shuttle and that we would need to hire and pay for a taxi. The Biocentre was a nice garden/mini zoo to walk around, although the animal habitats could be improved. The breakfast and lunch selections were basic but adequate. Overall our stay was pleasant.

Stayed one night at El Pueblito with a picky teenager and a child. All three of us were very happy.
I could spend a full day writing a lengthy review but it won’t benefit anybody.
The hotel is very good, clean and perfect for what we needed.
Everybody was very helpful and attentive. The breakfast is good and varied. FYI, don’t expect massive amounts of eggs and meats, Argentinians don’t eat heavy breakfast, but they do provide some scrambled eggs and tiny (very tasty) sausages... most of the menu are pastries...
we loved it and would totally come back!
I travel extensively for business and Lea sure and rarely write reviews. This one deserved it!

Breakfast was good with selection of cakes, breads, fruit and cold meats. Coffee was lovely and hot milk is supplied.
Staff were friendly and made the effort to speak English and help in anyway they can. Rooms are huge and were clean and comfortable. Wifi was decent - We stayed in the old police station building which is quite far from reception, and wifi worked fine.
The hotel is a bit out of town so a taxi is required but there's not much there any ways. Handily located for the airport and for the Iguazu National Park.

We booked our room very last-minute after an airline strike left us stranded an extra day in Iguazu and honestly I prefered it over our other hotel (which didn't have room). It's a bit far from the main part of town (think 20-30 mins walk to the grocery stores?) but the room was quite spacious and very comfortable. We're in our late 20's and the walking didn't bother us. Internet was fast enough to watch Netflix with no problems. Bus stop for the Falls was on the corner, but you need to wave it down! The breakfast was delicious but the best surprise was the nature park?/reserve?/animals that were connected. Definitely wish we would have stayed here the whole time.

Room smelled of mold, towels were so thin they were almost transparent, half the electric outlets in the room didn't work, TV remote control didn't work. Wifi only worked in the lobby. The advertised pool was two and half feet deep, the buffet breakfast advertised for 7-10am by 845 had nothing left except some ice cold scrambled eggs and a few slices of cold cut. All the food and drink containers were empty. The dinning hall floor was dirty with napkins and spilled food. No servers, no cups or plates.
Very disappointed, don't know why anyone would give them a decent review.

We only stayed 2 nights and arrived late on the first one, so didn't get much time to spend at the hotel. The room and bathroom are big, so nice to come back to comfort after a long day. Breakfast was adequate. When you are able to catch a local bus it's just outside, we were lucky on our first day, but it's too far to walk to the main bus station for trips to the falls etc. We had to get a taxi the second day, which is much more expensive.

Sensational hotel for Iguazu Falls experience!!!

Upon arrival and noting the unpaved/dirt area at main entrance I was panicked. It really is awful. But once past the door and inside this complex it is heaven. My group of 7 who were ready to strangle me when we arrived were hugging me after we got in! The hotel is only 5 years old and in beautiful condition... the rate is a bargain due to the front entrance I am convinced. All the reviews described the place as being as lovely and interesting as it is. There is an outdoor bar area by the pool which is so much fun. There is a \"Rio Uruguay\" bus at the front of the hotel on the highway that you can hail to take you to the Iguazu Park entrance for about USD4. each way. I just hailed all buses until the right one stopped. The one thing about this hotel which is its crowning glory is the food. And not expensive. I met the chef and he is a character! He takes great pride in the menu and presentation. We looked forward to the breakfast (wow--so good), lunch and dinners because the surprises and taste sensations were unbelievable. Even the desserts were works of art. Had no idea that what I expected from this hotel which was good value, very clean, convenience to Iguazu Park, and reasonably good food so we would not have to go to the town center to eat after a tiring day at the Falls would become an exciting experience in itself. Even one member of our group who needs gluten free was accommodated beautifully.

Nice, clean, convenient hotel in the rainforest

Nicely located on the way to Iguazu Falls (20 km). Bus stop to the falls just in front of the hotel. Bus runs every 30 mn. Good buffet. Clean rooms with A/C, nice bathroom. You can also walk to a convenience store 1/4 mile away, to a rescued jungle animals park 1 mile in the other direction. Taxi cabs (private cabs) can be easily caught in front of the Pueblito for only 180 Argentina Pesos.

Not what it seems.

Reviews are not what they seem. Staff distant; will try to upgrade to gringo prices, and there is no transport between airport and hotel. Furthermore, staff intervened with breakfast and tried to charge for 'complinetary' breakfast when we had been there overnight. Not welcoming at all. Wouldn't recommend.

Isolated location

The hotel is not close to anything; it is on the way to the town of Porto Iguazu. The only nearby restaurant is inside the hotel and the food was disappointing, as was the service, with the exception of the young woman who waited on me once. The included continental breakfast was OK, with a variety of juices, pastries, fruit, plus cold ham and cheese slices. A couple of hot selections would have been appreciated. The breakfast was the same every morning, with several of the dessert pastries left over from previous days.
The pool appeared to be very pleasant, but it was extremely shallow and only good for wading.
The rooms, while quite spacious, need a sofa for relaxing, as only two, small and not particularly comfortable chairs were in my room.
If I were to return to the area, I would most definitely stay at a property on the Brazilian side of the falls, as hotels, restaurants and shops are all in very close proximity.

Fun place to stay for nature lovers.

The room was spacious and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the nature walk with the orchids, butterfly house and impressive reptiles. Breakfast and the dinner we ate there were less than stellar.

Lovely place. Restaurant on site. Rooms are spacious, clean and nice. Bus to falls will pick you up on the strret outside hotel. The town is close enough to walk to if you like walking otherwise you can catch the bus or taxi. This hotel isnt in the town but the location is nice and quiet and very easy to get to where you need to go and only minutes away from town.

Nice hotel, close to falls, very rustic/beautiful

We loved our short stay at El Pueblito! Located just on the outskirts of the city, it was very convenient for getting to the Argentinean side of the Falls, and for the Brazil side as well. The room was super clean and very large, and the breakfast buffet was delicious!

Very nice stay

This hotel is nice, conveniently located, the room is fantastic and the staff is helpful. The only thing that kept it from a 5 was i did not like the restaurant.
