I loved my trip to Iguazu and my stay at Selvaje Lodge. There’s definitely a jungle feel to the place! The staff was very helpful and were a great help to me when planning my trip - their response to correspondence was quick. You don’t need to worry about Ubers or taxis because there are always drivers there who work for the hotel. Ask for Jorge B. - he’s awesome!

Alternativas: caminar al hotel lindero, delivery de pizzas, o viajar a Puerto Iguazú a cenar (obviamente sumando transporte). Una barra vacía, sin personal, sin poder tomar un trago al bajar el sol al lado de la pileta. Lobby vacío el fin de semana, sin vida, sin personal... Muy inconsistente, sobre todo cuando uno se hospeda en el medio de la selva y depende de su hotel y los servicios, necesita servicio y vida de hotel. El hotel tiene un enorme potencial, con mucha naturaleza por todos lados, linda infraestructura, pero mi estadía no fue muy buena. Primero por la habitación que tenía olor muy fuerte a humedad (la mejor categoría del hotel), segundo por el restaurante que no funcionó para nada en un lugar donde no hay nada cercano y por último la pileta que no tenía servicio de bar. Para mi fue muy decepcionante, impactando indudablemente mi experiencia en el lugar.

This lodge offered a truly unique experience of comfort and class in the far from ordinary setting of a rain forest. The rooms were comfortable, set up in small buildings housing several rooms each, connected to the main lodge by an elevated walkway through the grounds offering a sense of being somewhat in a jungle. The staff were welcoming and helpful, and the amenities, such as included breakfast, were top notch. The pool and poolside set up was particularly noteworthy allowing for unwinding and relaxing while surrounded by the peaceful forest. Access the to main town requires a taxi ride, gladly arranged for by the lodge team. I really enjoyed my too brief stay there and was very pleased with the total experience.

This stay was the gem of our recent trip to Argentina and our visit to Iguazu. The experience was made even more enjoyable with the hotel referred driver \"Ramon'. Ramon picked us up at our arrival to the airport and was available for our tours to the Falls and also drove us across the border to Brazil spending the day waiting for us while we enjoyed touring the falls in Brazil. He offered us local information and was essentially our tour guide for our stay. Thank you Ramon.

Adoramos a exclusividade do hotel, ótimo para descanso e privacidade. O que nos deixou muito descontentes foi o cheiro ruim das roupas de cama, a limpeza da área da piscina sem limpar as folhas e galhos e principalmente o mau atendimento dos funcionários atendendo sem vontade. Mas o hotel é lindíssimo só precisam treinar os funcionários para atendimento com os hóspedes. Uma observação: deveriam providenciar Divisorias entre as sacadas para os hóspedes se sentirem mais à vontade.

This is a great hotel, only a 10 minute drive from the Brazilian border so convenient for visiting the falls on both sides, yet you feel like you are in the jungle. Comfortable rooms although maybe slightly tired. Food quality in the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced.

Hotel is quaint in a lush forest setting. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and courteous. Loved the club sandwich at dinner and great breakfast with fresh fruits and custom egg to order.

Absolutely great hotel. Totally secluded to the point you wonder where your driver is taking you. Its a super nice retreat. Staff is great, especially Ivan at the front desk. Totally on the ball with transportation help. Our only small quibble was noise from the room next door, but it didnt last long.

The property was off the beaten path so that taxi rides are required to go everywhere even for small convenience items because there is not a small shop in the hotel to buy them. It This can also make a bit expensive to get around. The pool area is fantastic and the dining area although quiet had a decent dinner and breakfast. The staff was polite and attentive and the taxi are on call or already outside. We had a great taxi driver named Juan that took us everywhere. Foi simplesmente surreal o que passamos nesse hotel. Escolhemos um hotel supostamente tranquilo, reservado, em meio à natureza e sem crianças pensando que teriamos momentos de descanso e sossego. Acontece que todos os dias entre 9 e 12h da manhã um funcionário fica com um soprador de folhas a motor limpando a área do café da manhã, da piscina e dos quartos fazendo um barulho ensurdecedor de serra elétrica. Reclamamos diversas vezes na recepção e a resposta foi : desculpe senhora, temos que limpar o hotel. E o barulho continuou... Saimos de lá extremamente estressados e indignados com a falta de bom senso e consideração da equipe do hotel. Não retornaremos nunca mais e não desejamos que ninguém tenha que passar pela mesma situação.

We made plans with him for 3rd day. His car mysteriously quit working. We think front desk and Sergei interfered and Sergei took our fare. Overcharged us by $50.

I ordered dessert & my wife found a hardware bolt in the cheesecake on the first bite embedded in the cheesecake. The bolt was in her mouth & she felt it on her tongue, but if she had chewed down on it she would have broken a tooth. The staff didn’t do much too fix the situation.

This hotel was AMAZING. The setting was beautiful, the rooms and bed in particular were very comfortable. The pool and bar was a private luxury and the restaurant in the hotel was phenomenal. On top of that the front desk staff and driver Ramon were excellent. They handled any request or query we had, and provided all of our transportation requirements at a very reasonable price. This hotel, with this setting would cost 4 or 5 times more per night in Canada. If you are planning to go to Puerto Iguazú I can’t recommend it enough

It was a beautiful, secluded property surrounded by lush jungle. The majority of the staff were very friendly and attentive. The food was ok but limited which is problematic since it's isolated. I felt they could really change up the breakfast buffet by day 3 the limited choices were tired.

The staff in the dinning area ( restaurant & bar ) are great , the manager at the restaurant brought us a local fish just to try it , very professional person !!! The room should have a phone to communicate with from desk , in case someone have a questions , need help with something or an emergency !! Don’t book the shuttle with the hotel , better to get to the hotel on your own.

This was a lovely location with a great restaurant and amazing service at the front desk. They helped to arrange for a driver for us to see the Brazil side of the falls... Basically helping us have a personal driver for the day. They also made life easy in other small ways, like lending us a power adapter. Great hotel.
