It’s fine if you’re just stopping through for a night but I wouldn’t recommend as a vacation spot. It’s pretty inconvenient from the town and not somewhere where you want to spend time at the hotel. No alcohol on the premises. We also had a ton of mosquitos in our room when we got there and got several bites while sleeping.

One plus is they offer a cheap shuttle to the pier so it’s a convenient stop if you’re heading to phi phi. Also, the staff was really kind and helpful so these comments are more for the owners than the employees who work there.

The staff were polite and helpful. But it isn’t up what I would expect from a four star resort.
The TV had multiple channels, but had Thai, Japanese, French, Italian and Arabic language channels- not one in English. And the breakfast, I’m sorry to say was almost inedible to a westerner, it was totally Halal, which is fine, but it was a limited selection, the only warm (nothing hot) food was toast you made yourself or salty baked beans, otherwise the food was partly cooked or just plain cold.
Oh and the dead cockroaches in the bathroom in the restaurant didn’t cheer my wife up at all.

Quiet Hotel

A good place for an overnight stop before going to Phi Phi. The hotel is in a quiet area with not much around, although there is a nice restaurant opposite and a small village within walking distance. A shuttle bus can take you into town to visit the night market for a small fee. The breakfast was okay. We never used the pool but it looked okay too. The staff were friendly and helpful especially the girl on reception.

The location was close to the river and shuttle busses offered into Krabi centre.

Be aware, this is an alcohol free hotel as it seems to cater to the Muslim crowd. The description on Expedia is very misleading, indicating the hotel has a bar, pool bar, mini bar in room etc (\"a poolside bar where guests can unwind with a drink\"). We were not too impressed and only stayed 1 of our 2 nights here. The hotel itself is a bit out of the way from anything else, so don't expect to be able to walk across the street for a beer. The hotel was spotless and very beautiful. Check in was a bit disorganized as they couldn't find our reservation and we had to wait 45 minutes while they called Expedia.

Pretty Hotel with Bad Cleaning

The hotel in itself is beautiful and well done. Unfortunately everything on the bed was stained which was gross. Plus there was black hair all over in the bathroom and the tile slipped away from the shower so no mater what you do the water will get everywhere! Location was great for walking to the ferry station but was not near anything else. And as a heads up this is a no alcohol facility, we were ok with it but it could be a trip ruined for other people.

Beautiful hotel. Lovely staff. Beds are quite hard. Taxi fares quite high from there....so if you can...it is good to take the free shuttle to town. They need a 2 pm pick up time....felt that was missing.
Otherwise great place for a Thailand adventure.

There website is misleading in that they DO NOT have a shuttle from the airport. The website also mentions shuttle to town, but they charge extra after 4 PM. The hotel restaurant DID NOT honor the 10% discount that the front desk provided, and would not adjust the bill at check out; most unprofessional.

Nice enough hotel but totally lacking in atmosphere, felt completely empty when we were there, empty restaurant and lobby, just a few people at the pool. We wondered where everyone went - day trips perhaps but when we saw a couple of coaches return everyone disappeared! We went out to explore but hotel is remote and down the road was just a mini mart and local houses. One or two deserted restaurants in walking distance. Be aware that this area is Muslim and all about halal food. No alcohol in the hotel too and it felt like there was a dress code. I didn’t feel comfortable in a vest top for example as all the staff (and some guests) were completely covered up.

Room was lovely, staff helpful, and can’t really fault facilities but no sea views here and we went to bed at 8pm as it was so quiet and remote. Pretty happy we were just there one night as can’t imaginr what we’d have done if we were there longer. We skipped breakfast as there was no milk and basically lots of halal meat on offer.

Stunning hotel, No alcohol, A little far away...

The hotel is beautiful...the rooftop pool and the balconies looking over the town catch beautiful sunsets. One thing to note is no alcohol is served in the hotel, so you will want to go out to drink. The hotel is a 25 minute walk from the night market in Krabi town, and that is where you will find all the cool bars and restaurants. If the hotel was a bit closer to the action it would be great, but it felt a little isolated and because there was no alcohol, we didn't feel like staying on the property. Overall beautiful rooms and great service, but we prefer location and being able to unwind with some drinks at our hotel when the weather turns inclement.

Very nice pool, no gym, staff don’t seem organized and we were bugged throughout breakfast to pay, but no one seemed to know how much or who to pay (perhaps this was due to language barrier, few staff spoke English). Rooms are clean and spacious, very quiet, great seafood restaurant across the road (we went back twice). Beds are very hard and we did not sleep comfortably.

We felt like royalty at the Krabi Front Bay Resort! It is large, spacious, has a lovely pool, and the front desk staff are phenomenal. They were extremely helpful when it came to booking excursions and they went above and beyond to answer all our questions. The resort is about 20 minutes from Ao Nang and 10 minutes from Krabi town.

Its in The worst location ever in krabi .... scary dark street ... all services are addetional charge and very expensive ... hotel manager is so sassy and she refused to come down and help. Very clean place, but out of the way- some 2-3 km from town. The shuttle into town was operating about 6 times a day, so that was ok.
DON'T RELY ON THEIR FERRY PICKUP- it never happened, despite the fact that they confirmed it on email.
It is also no alcohol- maybe I didn't read the fine print!

Stay somewhere else. The beds here are the same I found in hotels a quarter of the price (hard and uncomfortable). The hotel offers transport for a premium price and one occasion they never returned to pick up at the designated time and place even though I prepaid for the return trip (it was quite stressful to find a ride back from Ao Nang late at night for a fair price). The hotel is not in walking distance of anything. They also would not call a cab to go to the airport on departure... instead they offered to price gouge me for their own shuttle at 600 baht).

Very nice hotel close to pier

We picked this hotel because it was close to the pier to catch our ferry to Phi Phi Island the next morning. The hotel has a free shuttle to the pier and also into Krabi town. However we walked into town, about 30 minutes along the river. Our room was large, clean with a huge shower. They have a very nice infinity pool on the 3rd floor. Breakfast was included in our rate and there was a large selection of food options. This is a good hotel if you are in transit for one night or staying for a few days in Krabi and using it as a base for day trips in the Krabi area.

Wonderful Krabi town.

The hotel is a 10mins drive away from Krabi town. It provides free regular shuttle service to the town. The hotel is abt 2 years old and it's well maintained. The hotel also runs a seafood restaurant by the river. A few stalls selling food and provisions are within walking distance.Room was large, bright and airy. Breakfast is average.Krabi town is a jumping place to the islands. It retains its local charm. I like the night markets best where all the wonderful local cuisine is show cased. Thai cuisine is simply delicious and the local fruits are yummy. Must try the dipping condiments with the fruits!!

Fantastic Hotel

This hotel was the most luxurious out of our others in our Thailand trip. The rooms are huge and bathroom is well equipped. Free shuttle buses run from the hotel to town and to the airport free of charge. Arrival was great, service was outstanding. Restaurant has a range of food. It is a hotel aimed towards muslims, as it has a prayer room and halal restaurant, but there were plenty of other religions staying there. I would absolutely book to stay here again. Only downside is that there seemed to be more mosquitos in this area as it's close to the beach.

Great value in Krabi Town. It is a little far from all the activities in the center of town, but there is a free shuttle that runs multiple times every night, so getting there and back is great. Nice new hotel, cool infinity pool on the third level. The bed was a little hard, but not bad room was very clean and had a great balcony with an ocean view. The hotel is set in a quiet area, but they do have a free shuttle service every 2 hours to Krabi town. The staff are friendly and we booked our tours from the hotel itself (the prices are a bit less in the market).
The pool was amazing.
Be aware though that the hotel is \"Muslim\" so no alcohol is sold on site and all the female staff are covered. Other than that its identity does not affect anything else.
Our one complaint was that the breakfast was cold! We informed the staff but nothing happened. I would still recommend it to others.

Amazing hotel, with amazing staff

Hotel was very nice and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we stayed with maximum comfort. Staying just 10 minuets away from the centre this hotel was ideal, with great views and complementary shuttle service it was easy to get back and forth. We stayed for four nights and they where amazing, the pool was very clean and the hotel in general was clean. This is a dry hotel, so no drinking is permitted on the premises but there are many bars you can visit for an alcoholic drink.

First class hotel in Krabi

Marvellous, restful and relaxing. Son had revision for exams so this was an ideal opportunity as this area had few distractions.
Restaurant opposite has 2* prices for 5* food. Ate there each evening.
The hotel was recently visited by a prince of Malaysia. Well if its good enough for him.
Next we went to Bangkok, Ambassador Hotel (4* ha ha ha) - Just don't!

It certainly wasn't clear from the website that this was a purely muslim hotel. It was in the back end of beyond and the staff were very much out of their comfort zone when anything went wrong, and numerous things did go wrong. I can't say I would recommend staying here.

although listed as having a bar, it does not serve alcohol or allow it to be brought in!
room photos are all of the most premium room (which are the minority) and what we got was nothing like them and did not have many of facilities. (no bath no minibar)
location is awful, located miles away from anything and walking takes you along a main motorway.
food basic and I am fairly convinced i contracted a dose of food poisoning from this venue.
staff unhelpful and confrontational
Wifi slow as week in the jail (which would prob pass quicker than a week in this fun vacuum of a hotel)

Nice, clean and quiet hotel that is near to beach

Nice and clean hotel that is out of the town, best recommended to those who prefer a quieter location and just relax in the hotel. Not recommended to book this hotel during peak seasons as it is a hassle to travel to Krabi town. The hotel only provide shuttle service every 2 hours and you have to wait 2 hours for the next shuttle if you missed that timing. The shuttle provided can only accommodate 12 person, therefore when the shuttle is full, which most of the cases it is, the hotel will cater another round (15 - 20mins) to pick up those left behind. It is about 20+mins drive from hotel to Ao Nang town. You can book the hotel's taxi to Ao Nang for 600Baht (provided by the hotel). However it only cost 400Baht if you are able to find a taxi driver. Public bus from Ao Nang to the Krabi town (where the shuttle pick up is) will only cost 50Baht. Buffet breakfast is kind of same everyday.

Lovely hotel but too far outside town to walk and therefore reliant on hotel shuttle or taxi.Not much to do otherwise around hotel.Staff need retraining in good manners,customer service and attention to detail.They give the impression of not understanding what is required.

Had bad experience with hotel shuttle.Having arranged to be picked up from town myself and another guest were left waiting for half an hour in the heat before we gave up and arranged our own taxi.On return to hotel the duty manager refused to apologise and offer any explanation.In fact he appeared to find my and other guests complaint comical.Having travelled to over 90 countries I had never experienced such a couldn't care less attitude.It ruined my stay at the hotel.

Similarly the next morning I had booked a taxi to the airport and paid in advance.To my surprise the staff looked bemused when I asked where it was.The driver appeared to be taking a private telephone call and when finished didn't seem to know where the vehicles keys were.He then had to cross the road to get the keys and find the vehicle.Having got into the vehicle he then returned to the reception and left me in the vehicle waiting.I had to shout from the vehicle to get him back in the vehicle and begin the journey.I eventually left 10-15 minutes after I wanted to.

Huge and spotless room

We took this hotel to be close to the ferry from Krabi.
The hotel is totally new and the room is huge! but empty which gives a bit of weird feeling. The view is very nice and the breakfast is good as well.

We really liked the hotel, but it was far from town and you needed taxis, which weren't that easy to get - they aren't driving down the street to grab, it took some arrangement. The hotel had a shuttle into town, but only every two hours. Everyone who worked there was lovely, and they had a nice pool, but next time I would stay in town.

The hotel and staff were lovely, but I was not informed that there is absolutely no alcohol. It doesn't say it on the website! It is a 100% Halal hotel, so no bacon at breakfast, etc. It is a very nice place, but I believe that they should state this on the website because it would have been nice to have a beer by the pool.

Everything about this hotel was wonderful, spacious and welcoming. Nice large rooms, hallways, shower. Tastefully furnished, incredibly clean, nice linens. Immaculate, new condition.
My only downside was that the bed was very firm and I did not sleep well as a result but people and facility were awesome.
A ways from the downtown area but they do provide a tuk tuk drop off/pickup.

We stayed here one night before transferring to Koh Phi Phi. I highly recommend this hotel if you are taking a night flight to Krabi and are traveling to the islands. The hotel offers a free shuttle service to the pier. The only downside I would say is the breakfast. Although it is very affordable it really leaves much to be desired.

We didn't really care too much about this hotel. We really just needed a place to stay overnight to catch the ferry in the AM. The ferry was only 10 minutes away by car, so it was very convenient. We heard Krabi town itself is very cultural and awesome, but never got the opportunity to venture out. The Hotel is clean, but has a lot of empty space. The pool is beautiful and has an infinity pool that overlooks the ocean. The staff were courteous. The breakfast was decent. One thing to consider is that it is a Muslim hotel, so no bacon for breakfast nor alcohol, which didn't bother me.

Bus convention

Glorified bus stop. About 2:00 am buses full of Chinese arrive for check in, wake everybody up in hotel. I asked after first day if the same would happen on again, was told no , that night had 5 buses. Hotel is geared for Muslim guests. I would not stay again

Quiet and relaxing

Rooms are exactly like they say and look in brochures. Staff friendly and more than helpful. Only complaint which we bought up with management was 2am checkins and the noise caused disturbed sleep. But otherwise faultless.

Krabi holiday

The hotel was very nice and brightly lit for the rooms. We were only a little disappointed that it was a little far to walk to town. So it was quite in convenient to shop in Vogue department store then had to come back to put our bags down.
But the shuttle service did help.

A New Experience in Krabi

The location is a bit out of the way, but the views of the water are lovely. There is an excellent restaurant associated with the hotel directly across the street with open air dining. The hotel is new and everything is very clean and modern. We had a problem with the air-conditioning in one room in the middle of the night, and it was changed out quickly. The staff is very polite. There are few food or drink amenities, but small grocery shops have appeared within a short walk. This was a lovely place to stay.

Best \"city\" hotel in Krabi.

Excellent getaway hotel just outside the city of Krabi with regular free shuttle for those who wish to go to town. Peaceful with views of the river and outlying islands. Staff were friendly with reasonable command of English. Quality of the breakfast was good. We tried the seafood restaurant across on river and enjoyed the variety and quality of the food. All in all a very enjoyable stay.

Brand new hotel, lack of experience

Overall an enjoyable stay but on arrival we found a trail of ants in our room, but we were happily moved. Staff very polite but there was still a huge language barrier. Free shuttle bus every 2 hours that the hotel provided-very helpful, pool was lovely on the rooftop too.

Crisp, clean, and beautiful.

This was a last minute booking, as a result of an early flight. I had just arrived from KohPhiPhi, off the ferry, and the unfortunately i didn't realize how close the hotel was to the ferry terminal; so i overpaid for a cab. But knowing what i know now -- it is super close and should be an inexpensive trip. The hotel was beautiful, and clean! Upon arriving the staff was so helpful. The room was extremely large, and the pool was beautiful as well. There is not a lot of food options around the hotel, and the restaurant was satisfying but not a lot of options. However, the breakfast had a LARGE selection and was great! This hotel was a perfect way to end my trip in Thailand. Thanks!

Beautiful hotel!

Love this place! Beautiful hotel and beautiful room - so spacious! The outdoor pool on the third floor is also lovely. Free shuttle from the Krabi ferry pier to the hotel. 600 baht shuttle from hotel to airport. Hotel isn't really close to anything in Krabi, but it's great if you need somewhere to be in between the islands and getting to the airport. The hotel does offer free shuttles every two hours into the city if you want to explore - take advantage of that! The staff was so friendly and helpful - I e-mailed a couple times before my stay with questions about which ferry to take, shuttles, etc., and the staff always responded so quickly! Definitely recommend staying here!

A resort you can skite about

Salt water pool, views of Ao Nang mountain ranges, impeccably clean and friendly staff. Location is good for the pier but Krabi itself didn't se to have muchore to offer within walking distance. However, staff were more than happy to shuttle us to Ao Nang for New Years and were really friendly. We were able to easily head to Phi phi which is a must and I believe faster from Krabi than Phuket. Spend a day by the pool - you deserve it!

Very nice hotel stay

This is a brand new hotel, so the facilities, including the swimming pool, were excellent. We used the shuttle daily to get into Krabi, and ate at the seafood restaurant across the road at least 4 times - delicious food. The employees at the hotel were very helpful, especially the manager and Alex, who both spoke very good English. Our only complaint is that the door to the connecting room was not soundproof, so we were woken up a few times by noisy neighbours or their television.

Hotel with nice view and peaceful surrounding

The hotel located near to Thara Park (about 10mins from krabi town). Spacious and with nice scenery around the lobby. Shuttle service is provided to krabi town, however punctuality of pick up from town was a great disappointment. Staff are not very fluent in English but were very friendly and giving best efforts to assist each room guest.

Great facility but that's about all

The hotel is brand new, great facility. The hotel staff are very unexperienced and no one speaks English except a few of the front desk team members. We went to the restaurant and notices the server brought our food across the street from a different resturant, it was uncovered, not very cleanly. When we paid we had to walk over to the restaurant to pay via credit card. Also, the hotel charges 300 bought per person to go to the airport, redicoulius. We asked to speak to the manager but the manager was offsite.

Fint og pænt hotel. Vi havde en enkelt overnatning inden vi skulle videre. Personalet er søde og imødekommende og værelserne var store og rene.

Fint pool område og gode fitness faciliteter.

Morgenmaden var knap så god, men fint for en enkel dag.
