Good but no control over temperature in room.

It was overall good. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable however we learned the second night that we could not control our own temperature in the room despite having the control unit. The representative had to call down to another area to lower our temperature. In the night we wished to increase it a bit and again it was not within our control. The breakfast made up for the room temperature.

Noisy at night with bad sound insulation.

Definitely a very noisy hotel with a train station next to it, as well as some fan voice coming from the next building continuously. The comfort of bed, breakfast and shower is very good, but the noise in the room is extremely disturbing to sleep. I am definitely not going to stay again

The room is new and clean. The restaurant and reception are very kind and the English is excellent. I stayed for 7 days, but the room wasn't cleaned well for 2-3 days. Breakfast is delicious, but I get tired of it after 7 days. It is far from the center of town without a pool. You may not care much because taxis are cheap, but the hotel in the center is more convenient. No. 1 is convenient because it is a 1-minute walk from the train station. Direct to the airport. It may be good for work, but if you are a family, we recommend another hotel.

The pictures of this hotel looked amazing, sadly it just didn't match up to those, it feels the shine is gone.

As said, breakfast was amazing, the breakfast crew were helpful and offered great service.

The rest of the hotel should take lessons from the breakfast team.

A few examples of the less than stellar service. First, we booked our stay a few days in advance, we emailed the hotel with a few requests as we're a family and booked multiple rooms. Most hotels respond within 24 hours, we never got a response. So of course, our requests were ignored and it took the hotel time to find rooms close to each other and get a rollaway bed sent up.

Next, we were there in July, so it's hot in Izmir. But the hotel has some weird policy where you can't adjust your own thermostat, if you want AC, you only get it at 23 degrees. I asked this to be changed, no response.

Also location wise, while the hotel is close to water, you really can't access the water as there is a freeway between the hotel and the water. It's pretty industrial around the hotel.

Overall, decent value, but disappointing service.

There is no problem with the hotel itself. But too much bad smell coming from the sea. I am not sure it is a common thing but we felt it night and day. Also there is a new construction site next to hotel which is too noisy starting from 8 am. even on Saturday. So night the best choice for this price.

Very comfortable hotel but some staff seem a little lazy and not willing to give you time or go above and beyond the call of duty. Whenever I called front desk, they were desperate to put the phone down. I asked what time the fitness centre opened at and they told me they didn’t have one when they clearly do. We went to get some snacks and they told us to go to our room and they would bring them up, they never did. I intended to fast one morning and asked if I could even grab some bread rolls at 4 am but they were unwilling to do this as it was outside of breakfast times. I have heard of other hotels facilitating this and in some cases laying out a full spread!

Finally location is terrible. Like living in an industrial estate. No shops or cafes nearby. Need to take a cab to go anywhere. Restaurant in hotel just serves normal grilled food, nothing Turkish about it.

A really good Hilton Hotel

Pleasant stay with family and only a tram stop away from central attractions. Not much to see or explore near the hotel but don't let that put you off from booking this hotel. The hotel itself is excellent, room sizes and service could not be faulted. A much better Hilton compared to recent ones I have stayed at in London.
