Luxurious suite plenty of space for family of 4, very comfortable beds and seating excellent for business use as well as our family holiday. Beautiful bathroom and extra WC. Staff very friendly and helpful breakfast was simply delightful. Lots of choice love the fresh Majorcan selection Valet Parking for Cars and Minibar included with our room. After eating in the hotel, we also ate in local restaurants which were also very nice to try a visit to the local castle in Capdepera lunch in the village after strolling round the market on a Wednesday.

The hotel is far away from any beaches but the rooms are huge like having apartment and completely new. The food wasn't spectacular. Its inconvenient to get from your room to anywhere because of how expansive the hotel is. This was by far the newest and most luxurious hotel we stayed at over our 2 week visit to Spain. The rooms are awesome but the location of the hotel is very far from anything. The service is good but they don't really go the extra mile for 5 star experience.

The negative views of this property all say the same thing: the customer service is not good and the cleanliness/maintenance of the property can be improved.

1 there was litter on the pathway outside our property all the time we were there;

2 the breakfast room staff acted as though they didn't want to be there. It frequently took 10 to 15 mins to get water and an additional 10 mins to get coffee/tea;

3 A la carte breakfast orders were uneven. We were initially told we could order something for our son that we could take up to him. The next day we couldn't;

4 one day, we were sitting outside on the patio. It began to rain lightly but that was not a problem as our table had a large umbrella/sombrero (as did others). I went inside to get some buffet items. When I came out, my husband was sitting in the rain. It emerged that a Spanish family asked for an additional umbrella and the server, without saying a word, took our umbrella to give to them. My husband was the only Black man sitting at breakfast that day. I don't want to jump to conclusions but it is difficult not to in the circumstances.

When I objected to the way we had been treated, all of a sudden, we were allowed to order another take-away item for our son.

5 The gym at the hotel was not maintained. On successive days, there were no towels and on at least one day, there was no water. When I went to the reception to ask for them to replenish them, they seemed surprised to be asked.

Disappointed – Poor Service Overshadowed a Beautiful Property

While Cap Vermell Grand Hotel is undeniably beautiful, the overall experience was far from what you'd expect at this price point. The location is remote, with limited dining options, and the service consistently missed the mark.

We rented a car and used the hotel’s valet service. During our stay, the car sustained damage—three small dings, likely from another car door while parked. The valet staff acknowledged the damage happened after our arrival, yet the hotel refused to accept responsibility. We reported the issue to management immediately, but received no response for two full days, despite repeated follow-ups.

As we were checking out, we asked again for a resolution. There was no manager on-site, and Sergio—who had initially been handling the issue—was conveniently on leave with no one informed or available to step in. Francesco, another manager, was equally unhelpful and dismissive. What should have been a minor, easily resolved issue was dragged out and still outstanding. We are escalating this matter.

For a hotel that markets itself as a luxury destination, the lack of accountability, professionalism, and basic customer care was extremely disappointing. We expected more—and unfortunately, we wouldn’t return or recommend Cap Vermell based on this experience.

The first hotel we visited upon arriving in Mallorca was truly stunning—large and beautiful beyond expectation. However, the check-in time was not properly honored, and no compensation or measure was offered in response. That part was disappointing and made our family quite upset. Still, the beauty and comfort of the hotel quickly helped us move past those feelings. We hope the hotel management recognizes that there are a few areas that need improvement in order to leave visitors with the best possible experience

Our stay at Cap Vermell Grand Hotel was exceptional, marked by great service and beautiful surroundings. From arrival to departure, the staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional. Whether at the front desk, restaurants, or around the hotel, they consistently went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, anticipating our needs before we even asked.

The hotel grounds are stunning—an oasis of peace and serenity. Beautifully landscaped gardens, well-maintained paths, and open green spaces create a tranquil atmosphere that invites relaxation. It was perfect for unwinding and taking in the natural beauty. The sense of privacy was a highlight, allowing us to feel tucked away from the busier parts of the island. The location is removed from other major towns so just know you will have to drive a bit further to get to other areas.

A standout was the seamless service for our daily explorations. Each morning, our car was ready and waiting, equipped with waters and towels. This attention to detail made our outings so much smoother and showed the staff’s dedication to excellent service.

The food was very good. The hotel was generally clean, though certain light angles in the room revealed spots needing a deeper clean. While not a concern for most, we tend to be over the top and very very particular about cleanliness. Rooms were great and nice but not quite Four Seasons or St. Regis level, though the terrace was incredible, and we spent much of our time there.

We loved our stay here from the moment we arrived. We left our car to be parked while we checked in and Our Luggage was taken to our room. The room was large and airy with a lovely balcony to enjoy an early morning coffee or pre dinner drink. The breakfast was well stocked with fruit, cereal, a great selection of local treats and a nice menu to order cooked food from. We relaxed at the pool every day and never had an issue getting a lounger. The staff were very diligent at bringing drinks or food when offered and clearing up after. We ate at all the restaurants which isn’t something we usually do at hotels but the quality here was exceptional and the choice was extensive. We came here to relax and recharge our batteries and that’s exactly what happened. Well definitely be back

From start to absolute finish our stay at Cap Vermell was met with warm faces, kind service, excellent accommodation, helpful staff, delicious food and was simply outstanding. The spa is just divine, so spacious and the treatment rooms are like those you see in spa escape brochures. I had a full body swedish massage which was so relaxing and the tea after was perfection. The breakfast is absolutely stunning, so many fresh fruits and lots of choices for eggs, pancakes waffles. The waiters are so helpful and can adjust to your liking. The pop up restaurant was Rokka, Japanese and the food was absolutely amazing. We ate there a few times, but unfortunatelt Voro was fully booked. This is the prestigious 2 star michelin. I would go back!

Absolutely beautiful peoperty. Exactly what we had envisioned for a \"Spanish\" hotel. The service and staff are impecable. The only problem we had was that the water was turned off in our suite for some reason and we didnt notice until 10 pm. Maintenance fixed it immediately, however we had to run the wayer for an hour teget the air and brown wayer out of the system. We were surprised that this probkem would have even occurred. The views are anazing, the food is amazing but far more expensive for similar foods in the area.

Whilst the hotel is generally beautiful and the pool area is lovely, we simply cannot recommend Cap Vermell.

The service was impersonal and lacking generally. You might expect some service around the pool but alas…

When I spoke to reception to complain that our room had not been cleaned one day, the staff member essentially tried to place the blame on me, when in reality they forgot to clean our room.

Our room leaked when there was heavy rain outside. We notified them of this. You might expect an apology when paying this price….but no.

Requests for additional decaf coffee pods were ignored…

The restaurants are at best average and charge Michelin prices (we didn’t go to Voro … which actually has the stars, as it is adults only). The Japanese restaurant was closed (we were not made aware of this on booking).

The kids meals are heavily salted and don’t include any veg (even at EUR14).

The room was generally unclean (the grout is grubby, the edges around the sinks have grime that is not cleaned off).

Despite our issues, we were not asked if we were happy with our stay on check out. Nobody cares.

To top it off, they brought our bags down but left one on the buggy. I didn’t notice as I was strapping my son in his car seat in the car and my husband was settling the final invoice inside. The taxi driver obviously didn’t see this as it was left on the buggy by the hotel staff. I am told it will be posted to me but I will wait to see if that happens.

Loved our stay at this resort! It’s perfect if you’re looking to escape the busy island beaches as you can just relax by the pools all day. A few downsides though - make sure you reserve your tables in advance as we were turned away from the restaurant one evening due to the kitchen not being able to handle more than 4 tables at a time. Also, they don’t display wet floor signs so be careful when it rains as the area around reception is very slippery. I fell and injured my knee pretty badly.
The room was lovely, quite big with a good view of the resort. In room amenities are perfect.

I visited this property when it was Park Hyatt. Though the hotel, rooms and facilities remain the same, some changes are made as the furniture looked different and the overall decor. Through the restaurant staff were pretty attentive and polite, I think the check in folks at front desk need to smile more often. They look too serious and not very pleasant at times. Food was good and the breakfast buffet is great, but food choices are limited at the restaurants. One restaurant serves 12-19 course dinners which is too pricey, one closed when we arrived and the other 2 didn't offer much to impress. Our first night at the tapa's bar didn't end well. We ordered tapas and fish, my entree arrived, but my sister had to wait for over 30 minutes to get her fish dish. The server said we are short on staff and the chefs was managing by himself. I was amazed for a 5 star property that charges $500-850 a night to be short on staff. I can say that while most of the property remains the same, the service quality is nowhere near Park Hyatt standards. Also the rooms need some light touch as the sink in the bathrooms look old and the caulking around it was visible.....not very attractive.

This is NOT a 5 star hotel, more like a 3 star hotel. The only reason why I would give it 3 stars is because of the property, cleaning team, delightful breakfast team and the ROKA restaurant team. It would benefit if management at reception stayed at a true 5 star hotel so they know what kind of service they are expected to provide. Just read this used to be a Hyatt and from what I experienced they are still providing Hyatt level service which is mediocre but not a luxury 5 star at all. I work in the luxury bridal industry and will inform all my colleagues and clients to steer clear.

My wife is vegan. None of the restaurants have proper vegan options. In addition, they were not accommodating at all to cook something for my wife. We ended up eating outside throughout our stay.

They lack proper communication within their own departments. We told them that my wife was vegan at check-in. No one informed the F&B department.

We asked for cutlery in the room. We ended waiting for more than 30 mins, no one came.

Even the room facilities like shower is pretty average. Room fridge was not cooling properly.

This was one of the worst 5-star luxury stays that we have stayed and would not recommended.

This property is immaculate. The service is top notch. The amenities are 2nd to none. The property’s is only 2 minutes from the beach. The views from our suite were amazing. I visited this property for an anniversary celebration. My wife loved this place from day one. We spent 5 days at Cap Vermell. We never got tired of the views or the service. The staff was more than accommodating throughout our stay and went above and to fulfill every request. I would definitely book again.

Tranquil and luxurious except for the mosquitoes

Beautiful hotel, beautiful location, incredibly quiet and peaceful. Fabulous breakfast and dining options. The room (deluxe suite) had everything we needed and felt very luxurious. Sadly we slept terribly for the full 6 nights as we had mosquitoes in our room. I had to virtually bath myself in repellent before going to bed which had such a potent smell to try and sleep with. You could hear them buzzing around you so to wear cotton wool in my ears as just the noise makes you itch. It was 30 degrees and had to sleep with the covers up to my neck. I am covered in approximately 15 bites which have been really uncomfortable and silly itching now. We reported it to reception and were given a plug in but in a suite our size it didn’t suffice so we had to ask for more, sadly we still had mosquitoes for the duration of our stay. This had clearly been an issue prior to our arrival as I found an used plug in replant in one of the drawers. We never had doors open and think they were behind the lighting screen behind the bed. On top of that the pillows especially and bed were very uncomfortable. So all round we had terrible nights sleep which did impact our stay hugely.

The hotel is a bit overpriced for what it offers. Breakfast was not great.
Service was good but not outstanding for this type of hotel.
The hotel has no direct access to the beach, which doesn’t make it super convenient.
Good restaurant options on site but very hard to get a booking at the Michelin starred restaurant (and they wouldn’t make room for guests).

The property is stunning, it feels very private and is a great location to unwind and relax. The service however didn’t meet the standards or the money you pay to stay here. Not because it was poor, bad or unfriendly but because they were totally understaffed. Service was very slow and overall uncoordinated/misaligned. Would consider visiting again but I think I’d get better value elsewhere.

This is a wonderful Hotel, with very professional and polite reception and front of house staff. The rooms are amazing with very comfortable beds. On the down side, nearly every time we ate in the restaurants things were forgotten, which made eating a disappointing experience. Although staff were incredibly polite and apologetic and rectified the situation immediately, it was sadly a reoccurring theme throughout our stay.

The property is like a little village on a mountain side, and is incredibly gorgeous! There is a view of the ocean on a walking trail just before entering the hotel complex. The hotel staff, restaurants, and bar were amazing. I would definitely stay here again. Didn’t walk to the beach, but did walk maybe 2 miles to the nearby cave. Of Note, the property is about 45-60 minutes from Palma, which makes it quiet.

Lovely modern property with huge rooms and balconies, very attentive staff and wonderful setting.

Would have been nice to know that many of the hotel facilities would be unavailable at the time of our stay BEFORE we booked. The fact that the pools areas were closed and restaurants not open only contributed to the feeling that this hotel was not properly open for business at this time of year!

Some of the worst food I've eaten in any hotel in Spain in many years. The Tapas served in Balearic restaurant was dreadful and the in room dining options were not much better. I would not waste my money on the food here but would advise eating outside of the hotel complex.

This is a very classy resort. The food was excellent, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the property looked amazing. The Park View Suite is spacious, has fantastic views, and comes with great amenities.

This is a nice resort with a best SPA and sport club. Excellent serivce when you checking and trasport between room and receiption. the breakfast is fruitful. the hotel is having a nice view and not very far to the beach. Every detail in the hotel is perfect.
Only one thing is a little cold in the room. The airconditioner is not working well..

Perfect in all areas.

Lovely week at the Park Hyatt Mallorca. Staff, facilities, atmosphere, location all perfect for us.

Only slight disappointment was the food in the Asian restaurant. It wasn’t bad but after experiencing the delicious food elsewhere on the property, we were underwhelmed.

I sound highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back.

This was our second time staying here and we love it. Bauer of U.K. Resort and scenery. Lovely staff. Excellent brunch. We love that it is away from some of the busier resort towns and so it feels very peaceful. We always rent a car and spend our afternoons exploring.

Sheer delight and satisfaction with Park Hyatt Mallorca. Thoroughly impressed and satisfied with every aspect of this establishment's offering. Service extended by staff throughout was attentive, exemplary and simply faultless. The resort's location and setting is peaceful and relaxing; the architecture and landscaping is endearingly traditional yet the accommodation is luxurious and contemporary; and the quality of food on offer at Asia and Balearic is simply divine. The spa facilities are first-class and the service is superb.

Beautiful hotel for a luxury escape.

The Park Hyatt in Mallorca is a stunning resort to spend time hidden away. It is utter luxury with wonderful grounds, amenities and staff that are attentive to your every wish. We visited in the low season so two of their restaurants were closed, but the chef went above and beyond to prepare us a special paella dinner so that my husband would have a wonderful birthday celebration. It was the perfect weekend and I would highly recommend it as a luxurious holiday destination.

Poor service, incredibly rude staff and very American. We had booked for two nights but cancelled our second night and checked into another hotel as a result of the terrible service at check in and unpleasant environment. Given the price avoid at all costs

It’s a beautiful, outstanding property! Rooms are amazing! The only thing is that there are not many choices for places to eat because of the time of the year (two out of four restaurants were closed, and one was open very late and the other closed early, so only one option for dinner.
