This hotel is very good! The view from the hotel is stunning, and its location is convenient—just a short distance from many popular tourist attractions. The staff are friendly and helpful, and overall cleanliness is acceptable.

One minor drawback is that the bathroom fixtures and fittings are a bit outdated and not as comfortable as they could be. Additionally, the heater automatically shuts off at a certain time, which was a little confusing at first.

This is an absolutely beautiful property, but do not book if you cannot walk up steep cobblestone stairs to get to the hotel. There is no access to the hotel by taxi or car and you must walk up or down hill three or four blocks with your suitcases to get to a taxi. It is lovely, and had an amazing view, and the staff was super friendly and nice. It was so relaxing to sit on the back terrace outside of our room and enjoy the plunge pool and the amazing view of the Alhambra. Be aware of any additional fees or services that they might charge you a check out.

Very friendly staff, clean , comfortable bed, plenty of hot water. We could have used kettle for coffee, tv, water cups, refrigerator, safe, \"private bath\" actually in our room rather than across the foyer, AC control, and an extra roll of toilet paper. Otherwise ok.

This property is excellent! The staff is so helpful. They gave helpful suggestions for restaurants and booked us a Flamenco show. The linens smell so good. It’s in a very walkable location to the Alhambra and the cathedral. Great view of the Alhambra from the hotel. Their breakfast is varied and delicious.

Hidden Gem with top Alhambra views.

This was a hidden gem of an accommodation offering very special views across to the Alhambra from the main terrace area and from our bedroom! The staff here do everything to ensure a comfortable stay, offering advice on where to visit, eat and even preparing us a takeaway breakfast on the morning we had to leave very early.

The paid parking is off-site and a short walk away down the cobbled lanes. We were met and greeted there which made it easier to find Casa Bombo. We did have to carry our belongings, which would be a challenge if you had lots of heavy bags or are unsteady on your feet.

Breakfast was tasty continental buffet style, with decent enough selection of fresh items. You can also purchase items from the bar (beer, wine and spirits) so you can soak up the views and relax in an afternoon/evening.

The Alhambra is 30 mins walk away and it’s approx 8 minutes walk (downhill through conbled streets) to Granada city centre, with lots of different shops, bars and restaurants within easy reach.

We would definitely recommend this boutique type accommodation and would visit again. Huge thanks to our hosts for a very pleasant say.

Great Bed and Breakfast in Granada

We stayed at Casa Bombo for 2 nights while in Granada and our room was amazing. The hotel has an unbelievable view of the Alhambra, no need to go anywhere else for that view. The location is amazing, it's in the heart of the Alcaicin which is a great neighborhood to explore. The hotel is better if you don't have a car, and I would pack on the lighter side to more easily navigate the area with your luggage.

The staff is unbelievably friendly and accommodating. I cannot say enough great things about them.

We drove into Casa Bombo, and they do offer parking in a private lot for a fee. That fee needs to be paid in cash and you need to provide the information of your vehicle prior to arrival as cars are restricted in the Albaicin. Not doing so can result in fines. The private lot is still about a 5 minute walk from the hotel, and that walk is not easy as the Albaicin neighborhood is on a steep incline, is cobblestone, and is a little bit of maze. The private lot is locked so when you leave you will most likely need to leave with a staff member to let you out of the lot. It was the only hiccup in our stay.

All in all I would 100% stay there again, and I honestly felt like the price was a steal at the end of the day.

overall great hotel. it was a bit challenging to go upside of the hill with luggage with some stairs but I can see the amazing view of alhambra from this hotel'a terrace. very cozy small hotel in a quiet area and they served free breakfast also. Plus super friendly staff.

This is a stunning hotel - The views from the balcony are so beautiful. You really couldn’t wish for a more lovely location to look out over the Alhambra Palace. The rules are spotless and well equipped. The staff are friendly, the breakfast perfect and there’s even a small plunge pool for cooling down on a hot day. A little slice of heaven x

C.B. is a small but elegant B&B, which is eat-off-the-floor clean. It has a beautiful terrace (with a plunge pool) with tables and chairs and sofas. It is as quiet as can be. Just down the hill is a small cafe, the 4 Gatos, and a Taverna where I got an outstanding Negroni. At night we could see the Alhambra from our bed. Priceless, as the ads go. The owner went to an extraordinary length to help me (77) get to a cab. We'd go back in a minute.

Fantastic Alhambra view!

It's a nice place to stay in the old part of Granada. The view of the Alhambra is amazing. The walk into the main area only a few minutes. The staff is very helpful, they work hard to keep the place clean. Beds were comfortable and breakfast good. My only complaint is that they have constant candles and air fresheners going. I have allergies to scents so for me that was really difficult. I had to unplug the two in the room and keep my door open. The AC works great btw, I would recommend this place to non smell sensitive friends in a heartbeat!

The most beautiful property with a stunning view. You could sit for hours and take-in the Alhambra palace. Service was excellent and the pool a bonus in the hot Spanish summer. We enjoyed having a drink by the pool and breakfasts on the stunning terrace. The rooms were spotless and well equipped.

Casa Bomba Great for Independent Travelers

Casa Bombo is a small hotel located in the heart of Granada’s Albacin neighborhood. It’s small, informal, almost like an upscale hostel. The rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. It has a lovely garden area with a small pool. It offers a simple continental breakfast. You can buy a beer, soda or glass of wine at reception but it’s only staffed short periods of the day. It’s a great place to stay if you’re an independent, self-sufficient traveller but not your kind of place if you need lots of services. It’s location would make it very difficult for anyone needing assistance or unable to climb the hills leading up to it.

Unique boutique style hotel with an amazing view of the Alhambra
Chilled relaxed atmosphere,very clean,use of kitchen/fridge,buffet style breakfast.
Lovely patio/balcony and a plung pool with amazing views and very private.
Our room was a budget room with no window but it was clean with a bathroom en-suite and a very good size wardrobe,the lack of window did not bother us as you can sit and admire the view from the lounge/breakfast and patio area.
The staff Fabio and Venessa were so helpful,always happy to advise and book trips
We loved this little hotel with its quirky little touches.

From the pickup at the airport we loved every minute. The location is awesome and the staff was amazing. Vanessa was the main receptionist while we were around and she gave great recommendations for places to eat, was super accommodating with everything. The view is remarkable from the property and the back porch with pool is lovely. The rooms are plain but give you the feel of really staying in the Albaicín. Bathrooms were very clean, showers worked well, hairdryer provided was great. The morning continental breakfast was a great start to the day and there is coffee, tea, and cold water available 24 hrs a day. We definitely will stay here again when we come back! Thanks Casa Bombo for an EXCELLENT experience!

Our first impression of this hotel was amazing. The staff was wonderful and accommodating, very helpful in letting us know all that Granada had to offer (especially in a non-touristy way). We stayed in the tower room and the view of the Alhambra was phenomenal - best view in the city.

We wanted to love this hotel but unfortunately on our second day, we started to notice a major issue. We began finding silverfish in our bed. Not one, not two, but an overall count of 17... we tried to get them all out and sleep but were woken up in the middle of the night getting crawled on. We were unable to sleep from 3:30am until we left. We would have left early but our car was parked in their private lot so we had to wait until the driver can for our 8:30 appointment to be dropped off there.

Except that the driver didn’t show up at 8:30 like we scheduled. They came a little after 9am. It’s a good thing we didn’t need to get to an airport or have an appointment because we would have been late.

When we told them that we were unable to sleep and showed them photos of the silverfish, they just made a note and said “ew”... but didn’t make up for it at all. In fact, after that she said “well you’ve paid so you don’t owe anything and you’re all set to go.” Really, guys? No.

I hope these issues are fixed because this could really be an amazing space.

Excellent location with Alhambra view. The personnel were very courteous and helpful. I recommend the room which has access to the terrace. Travel light because the hotel is not accessible by car. Things that can be improved: putting a tissue box in the room and enough supply of shampoo & body wash. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

B&B contacted me before arrival to see if I needed a pick-up which was good. Room was large and nicely decorated with a view of the Al Hambra. Bathroom was OK. I could not work out how to use the shower but as I was going to the Hamman it did not matter so much. I liked the location but if you have mobility issues it could be a problem. Breakfast selection was continental and OK. It was too cold to use the terrace but it has a great view. Staff were friendly and helpful and booked me a slot at the Hamman at a discount and also recommended some good tapas bars close by. I could hear people arriving or leaving and talking in the hallway so the room was a bit noisy.

This is a lovely little hotel with great views of the Alhambra. There is a small swimming pool in the common terrace area. Although we had a bathroom down the hall, it was for our private use. Both the room and bathroom were large and well appointed. The breakfast was very nice.
We really appreciated the free pick up service from the train station.

Can’t wait to stay again!

We loved our stay! We were so comfortable there, it was our home away from home. The staff was so nice and helpful! The breakfast was delicious and filling. The room and bath was spacious, clean and comfy beds. Our room had a view of the Alhambra and it was breathtaking. The location was so convenient since we were able to walk to the Cathedral and surrounding sights. Many shops and restaurants are nearby. There are a lot of stairs to get to the hotel so pack light!

Wonderful oasis in Grenada

We loved Casa Bombo. It was close to all Granada had to offer but also provided an oasis of calm for the afternoon after a morning of being a tourist. The patio with cabana and plunge pool were a perfect place to relax. The breakfast was also perfect. The only difficulty is that it is in the middle of the Albicyn hill so getting bags there requires negotiating lots of stairs and cobblestones (so consider what bags you will have) but we knew that going in and it’s the trade off for the great location.

Beautiful views, a comfortable room, friendly service, and an excellent location. Free parking is no longer an option, so we had to park rather far away for about 20 euro a night, but you wouldn't want to drive much closer to the hotel anyway even if you could.

Fantastic place with a great staff and the views are better than the pictures. Everyone can go down to the terrace/patio area and drink a bottle of wine in best and take in granada. Walking down to the center of the city is pretty quick stroll down the hills.

Lost in a labyrinth

Wonderful place once you get there! Finding it is a challenge. No traffic, just on foot. Apparently they will meet you somewhere but we didn't know that and it took us 2 hours to find the place. Once there, we had a lovely room, great view and nice stay.

Lovely Casa in the old town with stunning views of the Alhambra - worth paying the extra to book a room with that view. Helpful staff, buffet breakfast, clean rooms, comfy bed. However, the old town is Very hilly and close parking impossible so be aware if you are bad on your legs or travel with a huge amount of luggage.

Casa bombo has an incredible view of the Alhambra. It's in an old quirky part of the city with lots of beautiful places nearby. It's hilly and easy to get lost but fun. Alexandra is anazing but some of the other staff were quite ignorant. Our deluxe room opened onto the courtyard and pool: very convenient but like privacy. We regularly had the courtyard to ourselves. Breakfast wasn't great. Go with all if this in mind. It's a more characterful area of Granada than the city.

Wonderful Guesthouse with a Beautiful View

We really had trouble finding Casa Bombo, but we were both so glad we booked there. Our room, which had direct access to the lovely terrace, was large and comfortable, and featured a fantastic view of the Alhambra, had a wonderfully quiet and efficient air conditioner, two twins pushed together to make an oversized King, a seating area and an open rack for luggage and clothing storage. Our large, tiled bathroom was a few steps down the hall but was for our use only (we were given a key). The buffet breakfast was varied and delicious and was our introduction to the great Spanish breakfast Tostada (toasted rustic bread topped with fresh pureed tomato, olive oil and salt). The coffee was wonderful - the best we had on our trip. We were so grateful for the plunge pool on the terrace, as the temperature hovered around 40 C during our four days there. In addition, the staff were extremely welcoming and helpful, and offered some excellent advice about our Alhambra visit, local restaurants, and other Granada sights to take in. We loved it at Casa Bombo and hope to return.

Amazing view!

The view from the hotel eating area is AMAZING! It is the Alhambra and just incredible. The neighborhood is great, lots of food, bars, and shopping, you get a real feel for the culture. There are no cars which is nice for walking, but difficult if you have a lot of luggage, as we did. There is free parking about a 15 min walk away, and despite my worries, it was safe for the car. The staff was super helpful in providing advice about what to do during our stay and helping us plan out the travel.

The \"free parking\" is, but costs €20 to get there

They emailed us about a week before arriving that parking is in or off a street above and recommended we have them pick us up for €10 - same goes for taking you back and it's really too hard a walk! We arrived at 4.30pm and check in is at 1pm - our room wasn't ready! We were told it was because we hadn't told them what time we would arrive! What hotel in the world requires notification of your time of arrival? The location is good, but there is a restaurant on the street below and they eat (noisily) until midnight, so not a good sleep. Not happy with the double sized bed and one long pillow and our plumbing didn't work properly. Nice room otherwise. To top off our troubles, they wouldn't accept credit cards as \"their machine wasn't working\" which we've found a lot in Spain, at restaurants and such. Breakfast only just passed muster.

Had a memorable 2 night stay at CB. Toto and the entire staff were welcoming and attentive. The terrace and small pool were a welcome surprise. Would definitely stay again when when we return to Granada.

The hotel is a quirky find in the middle of an atmospheric historic area. It is run by friendly helpful people with nothing being is too much trouble.
The transfer services is excellent and it is advise able to use it as the streets are very narrow and quite steep.

Gems don't get much more hidden, or gem-y

This place is awesome, but you have to give it a chance. The long walk along the cobbled and cramped Albaizin neighborhood will leave you a little questioning, and the informal check-in will have you confused, but this place will be like your home. Great staff, great breakfast, INCREDIBLE views of the Alhambra, amazing terrace and good company. Use the 10 euro courier service to pick you up and enjoy your stay.

Friendly staff; splendid views of the Al-Hambra

The hotel e-mail helped us park for free, as it's not possible to drive to the hotel. Staff were helpful and friendly. Tea/coffee available in kitchen and plenty of useful books in the lounge. Good selection of breakfast food. Staff offered to store luggage while we explored. Finding the hotel presented a challenge which, thankfully, our SatNav (walking route) rose to. Casa Bombo is in the Albeycin area, which is a maze of small alleys and steps; take a good map.

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in der Casa Bomo. Das Personal war super nett und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft liegt inmitten des Viertels Albaicin und ist daher nicht so leicht zu erreichen. Dafür entschädigt der überwältigende Blick auf die Alhambra von der Terrasse aus. Dort werden auch Getränke und das Frühstück serviert. Absolut zu empfehlen!

Strongly recommend!

Located at the center of Albaicin, Casa Bombo is a little hard to get at particularly if you are traveling with large luggages (the hotel will arrange drop off service at cost which I strongly recommend) but it is definitely worth it. The view is magnificent and I would never be able to forget the night view of Alhambra I saw at the balcony. The room was pristine and the staffs were of the kindest I have ever experienced. They were responsive and ready to help you out at all times.

후기로 듣던대로 뷰는 최고입니다. 그렇지만 주차할곳을 찾기 위해서 전화로 설명을 들어야해서 처음부터 너무 힘들다 싶었어요. 전화 설명도 여행자가 알아듣기에 너무 어려워요. 골목길 사진이 포함된 안내 메일 등으로 주차장 위치를 안내받았으면 훨씬 편안했을텐데요.

숙소는 너무 좋았는데

이번 여행에서 제일 기대했던 숙소라 뷰나 방 상태는 매우 만족스러웠습니다. 리셉션 직원도 매우 친절하고 사랑스러웠어요.
다만 아쉬웠던 점은 픽업, 드랍오프 서비스입니다. 예약할 때 다른후기들을 보고 짐도 숙소에 옮겨주는 것으로 예상하고 신청했지만 실제로는 택시를 이용한 것과 다를 바가 없었습니다. 차가 들어가지 못한다고 위에서 내려줘서 캐리어도 직접 끌고내려 가야했고, 갈 때도 저희가 직접 캐리어를 끌고 올라가야해서 매우 힘들었습니다. 미리 이 사실을 알았다면 택시를 이용했을 것입니다.
이걸 제외하면 또 방문하고 싶고 추천할만한 숙소라고 생각합니다.

알함브라 궁전 뷰가 너무 좋습니다. 객실과 화장실 깨끗합니다. 직원들도 친절합니다. 알바이신 언덕길에 위치하고, 차가 다니는 가까운 대로에서 도보 5~10분 정도 걸리는데 길바닥이 울퉁불둥하여 캐리어는 끌고 다니기 어려우니, 호텔차량 픽업서비스 이용하는 것을 추천합니다.
