Not worth the money

AIR conduction was not working properly, anything you wanted as simple as sleeper was extra charge and worse elevator was not working and they keep being dishonest to people as how long it’s not working. Plus zero beach. between hours of 4-7 no, means no food or drinks as if you want anything you need to get out of the hotel.

This is an excellent hotel, particularly suited for adults and older children. The breakfast is a standout feature—with an impressively large selection catering to a wide range of tastes. While the offerings were similar each day, the variety is so extensive that you can easily enjoy different combinations every morning.

The pools are lovely, though towards the end of the day, some pollen from nearby trees tends to collect on the surface. That said, there are plenty of sunbeds available at all times—no need to wake up early or reserve spots. This really adds to the stress-free holiday experience.

The bar serves a good lunch, and if you have a car, it’s easy to explore dinner options nearby. Within 10–15 minutes, you can reach Cala Bona, which offers a great selection of restaurants and some nice nightlife.

The sea is absolutely beautiful—warm, clean, and perfect for swimming.

This property is extremely well maintained. More so than other nearby hotels. The location is absolutely stunning. With easy access to the beach, beautiful views and very comfortable accommodations, we strongly recommend it. The staff was absolutely friendly, delightful and helpful. Like many hotels in this area, it’s a family hotel so there are small children running around, which we are fine with, but we realize it’s not for everyone.

This was my FIFTH stay at the Eurotel Punta Rotja since 2008. I have seen once again some of the wonderful staff members who were there sixteen years ago, but all are most courteous and welcoming with a sincere \"Buenos dias!\" or \"Buenos Noches!\" The carpets in the rooms have been replaced with Pergo laminate hardwood flooring, and it's beautiful. The hotel location is magnificent and is far away from the tourist traps of Cala Millor, but still close enough to reach the worthwhile places there, such as scuba, sailing and so forth. You will not regret staying at the Eurotel Punta Rotja!

It is a solid good hotel in a very good location right by the sea, rooms are big and spacious, clean and light.

By far the worst service we’ve had in Spain so far. Some staff were very friendly (especially Vonica) but most of them were terrible and not friendly at all. The staff named Toni was one of the worst experience we’ve ever had. Unfriendly, disrespectful, always ignored us and unpleasant. It’s a unfortunate, but we will never recommend this hotel and will never revisit. On top of that, we were charged for 5 breakfasts when we only took 3. The food was decent, however. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the hotel is somewhat well situated. Getting new towels for the day is a complete nightmare. We wanted to do some laundry, but closed on weekends. We asked on the first day to have 2 seperate beds and it took 3 days for the staff to seperate them. Overall, we had a mediocre experience and we do not recommend this hotel.

Quiet hideaway with hikes nearby

I wasn’t sure what to expect and was happily surprised! Great spot to stay with free parking to explore hikes and neighboring areas. The towns themselves weren’t my fav but the hikes and Arta etc made up for it. Wonderful staff and excellent chefs!!! Only place I’ve enjoyed the food from hotels on the island.

Best staff make for an amazing stay!

Staff throughout the whole hotel are super friendly and kind and always looking to make sure you have everything you need! Always smiling and chatting, it's lovely!
Had a very relaxing stay. The pool is perfect temperature, and the on-hotel beach is nice, small, but we only used it to have a swim in the sea which was lovely. There was a raft out in the sea that you could climb on to sunbathe on.
The food was a great mixture and catered for all types of people, even at breakfast having all types of milk e.g. oat, soya, skimmed etc.
The room was clean and we had a lovely view over the pool and the sea.
The bus is a 3 minute walk outside the hotel and it's so easy with contactless to get into the town just 12 minutes away.
Overall it was a fantastic stay and very relaxing. Would highly recommend if looking to relax!

Difficult check-in and let down on room choice

The stay was Okay, but when we booked the cheapest option was \"garden view\" and the next sea view, but that was not what we got!
Then the air conditioning was not working and the room was over 26°c! And there was a smell in the room of cigarettes or weed.
They gave us a different room for the night and next day after many arguments changed to another room on the same floor \"garden view\" and not next door our daughter's room.
But other than that the stay was fine

Sadly the place is very run down and the staff is frankly not kind or helpful. Upon arrival we quickly found out that Expedia has dogs listed as accepted but Hipotel's policy is different... we were sent away and not offered a refund even after speaking with the manager and talking to Expedia. Would not recommend this place.

Great value for one night but..

We stayed last week for one night dinner, b&b. Great value, room was fine, good buffet food & staff very attentive. But two comments about the two pools:
- pool shapes & size are more for splashing about than 'proper swimming'..though to be fair can 'proper swim' in the nearby sea
- wife's jewellery was tarnished whilst in the pools (never happened before in other pools). Reported to reception who advised 'this the first such report'. Have now returned home, applied silver polishing cloth which has cleaned most but not all of the items..latter includes her white gold wedding ring..
- we suggested to hotel some 'warning note' wearing jewellery whilst in the pool..

Great location for some days off to relax on the beach. Facilities are very good and the food is amazing. They have a chef that will prepare meals on the spot and everything is delicious. Personnel is super nice and the place is very clean. Very adequate for family vacations with different size pools. They also have a very small gym (not a lot of equipments) and a small indoor swimming pool. The Spa have a hydrotherapy circuit, sauna and Turkish bath. Overall a very relaxing experience.

Hotel is nice but there’s nothing around it. The worst thing is that you CAN’T go in buffet restaurant in nice short pants, you need to wear long pants at 30 degrees! I had half board package but I couldn’t have my meal!

Fantastic getaway

Couldn’t have been happier with my choice, really great range of fresh food for half board, good mix and balance of adults and kids and the pools where large enough to accommodate everyone. Friendly staff and the spa was only 9€. Lovely sunsets from the terrace with dinner. Relaxing 5 days, wish I had more!

Had to pay to use the safe which was strange.

Also men have to wear long trousers at dinner which was a surprise so I had go and buy a pair. Not too serious, just a silly rule as women and children could basically wear their swimming costumes if they wanted.

Excellent location, great place to relax and enjoy the scenary. The quality of the restaurant is superb and the staff in the buffet lines and waiters are professional and pleasant. Even if they do not understand the language of the guests, they welcome everyone with a smile and great disposition.
This is my second time going and look forward to going again. Probably one of the best and most relaxed vacations I have ever taken. It is great but to think where to go for dinner, everything you need is st the hotel.

Great island, but stay somewhere else.

If you're under the age of 65, stay somewhere else. This hotel caters to senior citizens, both in style and character. The grounds are well kept, but the main building and its interior are dated. It appears as though they haven't updated anything since the 80s. The onsite \"restaurant\" is buffet style with the same tasteless food available morning and night, day after day. It's located one hour (driving) from the airport and the transportation service they recommend is laughable. I paid for private transportation to and from, but was picked up in a bus upon arrival and a yellow cab when departing. The staff is unfriendly and unwilling to accommodate the simplest requests. The management is rude and unwelcoming. In no way, shape, nor form is the hotel worth the money. I would suggest everyone visit Mallorca but 100% choose another hotel.

Very Clean , great food , location is fabulous it's slightly remote yet beautiful, excellent facilities and David's restaurant is gorgeous. Lovely breeze when sunbathing by the sea.
The only improvement I would suggest would be to invest in sturdy comfortable wooden beds with mattresses. I'd suggest the management team take a look at the skiathos palace , they have the best pool comfort I've experienced. I'm a seasoned traveler. In my opinion the cost to stay here deserves better poolside comfort

When we go to Majorca we always stay at this hotel. The staff are really nice and friendly and the hotel facilities are really good. Its right beside the sea but also has 2 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool. A great place to relax and chill out.

Not so great for Brits. Very limited dining options. Non traditional English breakfast. Dress code for evening meal (long trousers) - but for men only. A bit sexist to be honest. Very, very quiet location. Only one English news channel on TV. Pool is nice but shaded for a lot of the day. Snippet of beach down the steps is just trrrible so you will need to walk to a half decent one. Room was dusty and tired, was yet to be refurbished (so request one that has been on the upper floors) We booked 7 nights but left after 4. The hotel manager was fantastic but sadly became involved too late to save our stay.

What a Gem!

Second time at this hotel. Staff are excellent and genuinely make you feel welcome, whatever the nationality! Food is excellent. Kitchen staff deserve a lot of credit and I must mention Satur, what an ambassador for the hotel! Head waiters and waiters are also down for praise. Receptionist were professional!
The only fault is there are only 4 English channels and all are News. Whilst other foreign language channels offer more variety. Also, the WI-FI could do with some boosting. We'll be back for another spell !

This is a great hotel and this was our sixth visit. The staff are very friendly but are also very professional. They clearly care that guests have a good stay. On this visit we had a problem of noisy neighbors on a couple of nights but as soon as we raised the issue with reception, we were immediately offered a transfer to a superior and much quieter room for the remainder of our visit. As usual the quality and range of food on offer at breakfast and in the evening was first class, with the main problem being the amount of weight one can gain in just a few days stay! The light entertainment at the bar in the evening was most enjoyable and the bar offers a great range of cocktails to try. Overall this is a highly recommended destination for a short break.

Lovely Hotel with private grounds.

Hotel set away from main resort in quiet residential area.Nice pool with private grounds leading to small secluded beach. Hotel feels slightly dated but still well maintained. Half board option was good buy as the food is very good with plenty of choice. It's our second time at the Punta Rotja and we will be returning next year as we like it so much. Would recommend hiring a car or you might feel a bit cut off.

From the wonderful receptionist who upgraded us to the cheerful lady who cooked breakfast and fresh fish at dinner the staff were unfailingly cheerful and welcoming. The hotel was an oasis of calm efficiency, our room looked out on pine trees and the sea, the room was well equipped,and the huge bed had a tempur mattress with plenty of extra pillows and blankets ( it was mid October and sitting on the balcony sometimes called for a blanket)! Both breakfast and dinner offered a wide range of options with fresh fish and meats cooked to order as well as amazing churros and pancakes (breakfast) and pasta and veg (dinner).

This was our second stay. We came back because we like the peaceful but handy location for getting around the east coast of the island. Beautiful pool areas with no hassle getting sun beds! Good choice of food cooked to your personal choice. The only thing missing was tea/coffee facilities in the room!

Bad bits:
The very noisy building next to hotel rooms on one side where bottles were collected very loudly, staff were singing and talking, various drilling etc this started at early as 6am some days and even had middle of the night pick up of bottles which woke me up at 2/3am too. Even with balcony door closed it was impossible to sleep and it open was like being right in a middle of a factory. I asked to move rooms and complained but they weren't able to move me for 5 days so no sleep! I m just glad I did not bring my toddler with me as he would have not been able to sleep at all. Please remember this is a holiday for people who often work hard all year and this is unacceptable.
There is not much around the hotel but a small shop and restaurant.
It takes an hour from airport which is 85 in taxi
Reception staff were not the most pleasant at times and could do with some training.
No kettle in the room

Laundry service only took a day

Lovely hotel - brilliant location.

We had a fantastic holiday. Lovely hotel tucked away on the north east coast. Great for kids but there were plenty of adult couples / groups too.
Excellent swimming pools, nice buffet in the evening (quite hard to get a table outside but hotel was full), v comfortable functional rooms, very helpful hotel staff.

Nice hotel with nice views

This was our first visit to this hotel at Cala Rotja, which is a very quiet area with nice houses closeby and a Golf course. We are familiar with Mallorca and always want hotels far from the large tourist complex areas and Cala Rotja just met our desires with nice gardens, nice views to the sea, a small but convenient spa and close but not to close to restaurants and other attractions.

Stayed here for our honeymoon and it was great. The room is very nice, and the pool and ocean access are amazing. The hotel restaurant was not the best, but there are two nice restaurants on the same block, as well a very nice steak restaurant behind the hotel. It is also close to some neighboring towns which are a bit more touristy, with beaches, shops, and water activities.

Great location for a relaxing and quiet stay

This is a lovely hotel in a beautiful location. Great food, friendly and attentive staff and it has the bonus of a small but very pleasant spa. I booked a massage which was conducted in a cabana in the garden, and it was excellent.

Good hotel with friendly staff and excellent food.

This is a fifth year we have returned to this hotel for a short early summer break. It provides a very relaxing environment, with pleasant surroundings, a good pool, excellent food and friendly service.

Lovely, relaxing and luxurious

Excellent staff, lovely and plentiful food. Very clean and well maintained. Beautiful views, immaculate gardens and pools. With a lovely beach and beach bar ten minutes walk away.

All round beautiful hotel, quiet, calm and with everything you could possibly need. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Perfect hotel for a relaxing and quiet holiday

Very quiet location well away from the main resort of Cala Bona. Excellent food, clean, well tended gardens, cheerful and efficient staff in restaurant and bar, good quality spa facility. Best suited for mature adults and couples rather than children and younger clients. Access to very small artificial beach down steep steps from gardens to sea.

Great food & value for money but fix the aircon!

Excellent value for money. So cheap for what we got. The food was fantastic. My only gripe was the very poor air conditioning, which just didn't cool the room down at all making sleeping difficult

Great hotel in a great location

Had a fantastic week with a friend at this lovely hotel. Tucked out of the way, but with access to local produce shop, restaurants and public transport. Will definitely be back.

very nice hotel and courteous staff

relaxing, away from the city buzzz, still nice places to visit around - caves, quiet beaches, glass water boat trips..good for some looking forward to have a relaxing holiday. Hotel staff is very nice and courteous. they serve nice buffet breakfast. there is an Italian and a Spanish Restaurant across the street which is generally open till late in night (if you miss the dinner time at the hotel). we tried the hotel \"spa\" which was very comforting, the indoor swimming pools are also great. Over all a very nice stay..

A really good hotel, in an excellent quiet location, with excellent swimming pools and spa. Excellent food ( cafeteria self serve with much variety), superb friendly staff, all at a competitive price but somewhat let down by \"Iffy\"WiFi and child size sanitary ware. Parking could be a problem in High Season

amazing food

Great place, fantastic staff, very good food. But really if you would like to have a beach holidays go somewhere else. I have been here with my 2 year old son and \"beach\" was too small for him.
There are nice pools and good swimmers can go to swim to sea.

Pleasant Stay

Great hotel, very friendly and humble service and staff. The people at the reception are very helpful in telling you about the whereabouts around the hotel. They were kind to let us use all the pool and other facilities even after we checked out. Mobile network and 3G is great if that matters to you on a holiday. Free wifi is not that great. food is quite good. rooms and bedding are very comfortable and very clean. very happy with our stay. Would not hesitate at all to come here again.

Good hotel for a relaxing holiday.

The fact that this was our fourth time at the Eurotel Punta Rotja says everything. Our only disappointment is that by leaving the room allocation to the hotel, we have always been put on a lower floor at the back.This has happened to us now on all four of our visits. This time, hoping to get a better room position, we paid extra for a Superior Room, only to be put into room number 225, which admittedly did have superior decor and furnishings to the standard rooms, but was in the worst possible position at the back of the hotel, over the kitchen area with poor views, and overnight noise from refuse collectors emptying bottle bins and the like. We felt quite cheated, and were only offered the alternative of a better positioned standard room, which was not available for 24 hours, but without any refund of our extra payment for a superior room.

Lovely pool and grounds. Overall great place to stay. The only con is that the hotel room had a small kitchenette however the hotel did not provide any kitchen supplies or utensils to cook with so the kitchenette was useless.
