I would try somewhere else in Moree if I pass through again. The motel is clean and the staff are polite. The price is ok and it is very close to the hot springs.
Unfortunately the unit I stayed in had a broken door lock and the staff didn’t care about it. Although they didn’t have much option since the place was fully booked. The parking was a concern. There isn’t enough for the number of rooms and it’s only suitable for small vehicles - not many people had small cars. This leaves curb side parking; but I assume there’s a crime/vandalism problem in Moree because every building has lockable gates and security screening on windows/doors.

It's clean, comfortable, has reasonable sized rooms and all the amenities you'd need. It's also a decent price. So overall good value. However it's extremely noisy, sound travels really easily and you can hear every conversation, movement, and sneeze happening within 2-3 rooms away. Not to mention a neighbors dog barked and howled loudly all day and night non-stop, not the hotels fault but worth noting due to the poor sound insulation in the rooms.

The bed was very comfortable and the air-conditioner cooled the room very effectively, despite the heatwave conditions. This would be a good motel for an overnight stay if it wasn't for the foul smell coming from the drains in the bathroom. Unfortunately, the smell penetrated the room, even with the bathroom door closed.

Bed comfortable and clean. No real negatives except for the note above the sink which advises guests that if you 'use it, you clean it' otherwise you will be debited $60. To me this indicates that cutlery etc is never properly washed but probably just run under cold water and shoved back in cupboard. And what about shower, bed linen etc? I used it but didn't clean it.
For this reason alone I probably wouldn't return even though I drive through Moree about 4 times a year.

For somewhere to stay overnight the Bondi Motel was great. Not a cockroach in site. Little bit out dated but for the price I couldn't fault it. My wife loved the smell and the fluffyness of the towels. The beds where clean and very comfortable. I would definately stay again and would recommend to other people. And just another plug, the Victorian hotel around the corner has beautiful normal pub food without all the crap that you don't want in basic pub food. For both places I would say don't judge a book by it's cover. I rate them both 9.5 out of ten

When we made a booking it actually stated that you could have 4 people in this room it did also say that there was only a queen and a single so wrongly assumed that maybe there was a sofa bed or an option of a trundle I received a phone call from the manager / owner of the premises to inform us that it only slept 3 as she didn't want us to get there and find that we could all fit.. as we were travelling we did have a blow up mattress so we were able to use that in the room the room.. for the price was great the only thing was that air conditioner didn't work and vents wouldn't stay up we had to actually prob a little thing of milk in there to keep the vents open the air conditioner didn't well work well thank god we had a portable air conditioner with us ... we liked that in there the gates the locked as we had heard that there is a high crime rate in this town so we felt very safe the managers were friendly and accommodating for our trailer.. for the price of a room as a family room it had everything that we needed in cooking facilities not a huge kitchen but it still worked very well

Friendly staff greeted me at check in and welcomed me with the information about the Motel. The room was clean and quiet and the locked gate at night made my car secure. The Motel is very close to the Moree Spa complex and easy distance to walk. I would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

The Bondi Motel was very well located close to Moree's main attractions and particularly the Artesian Baths. As it was wet the undercover parking was appreciated. The room was small but adequate. Given he social problems in Moree, the fact that a locked gate provided additional security was appreciated. The shower was poor and the bathroom generally seemed to be in need of attention. No shampoo sachets were provided.

Small room , tiny bathroom. Very cold , even with heating turned right up overnight .Only one pillow per guest supplied , mine was very hard. Parking very tight . Threatening signs in room telling you that you will be charged extra if you leave the kitchen untidy and don't do the dishes .Poor ventilation .

Location to the pool was good. Delighted to see the pool has been upgraded. Walked into town. Parks and gardens were well maintained.
Security around the motel was obvious. Locking of entrance gate locked at night.
We used the R.s.l. club bus to pick us up and return us again.
the people managing the place were nice. Outdoor barbeque and dining area. Th e price was reasonable.

There is no room service, which is still advertised on the web page, apparently they stopped some time ago (there is no restaurant either, in case you were wondering). Staff member was a bit rude, I wasn’t after a free breakfast??? I just wanted to order breakfast, that’s why I booked a hotel that had room service.
The room we stayed in was not large, very basic, there was no extra pillows or blanket, no ironing board or iron. Only soap provided. You are reliant on the previous occupant of the room to have cleaned everything thoroughly (because no one would rinse a glass and put it back, right???)
There is decorative feature glass in the room door, which people outside can see into your room (including the bed), there is no curtain!!! The lights from the carport shine straight in. Also you could hear the people talking in the next room. Bed was incredibly hard, we both woke up sore in the morning, after tossing and turning all night.
Attempted to use the power point in the kitchenette area, it buzzed. The usual red (or green) blinking light on the smoke detector system didn’t. The hot water pipes hammered anytime you or the adjacent rooms used the hot water (I’m pretty sure you can go to Bunnings and get inline devices that mitigate that).
Sorry I usually give positive reviews but I think this hotel is being listed as something it is not (I believe this hotel is rated wrong, it is more like a 2 star facility not a 3.5 star facility).

we had a family room for 4 , it was so small, only towels for 2 in the room.
owners were nosy and extremely rude, we had visitors owner came and told us to sit out side ( it was too hot to do that)
there was notes stuck all over the room, with things like do the dishes or pay $50 do this or that or pay $50
dishes were definitely cleaner when we left then how we found it !!
If you like a clean, hassle free stay in privet room I would stay clear of this place.

We just crashed overnight on our way home so didn't spend any time in Moree itself. Accommodation was good for the money paid and the beds were comfortable. Only downside was obnoxious people in the next room talking loudly early in the morning but you can get that anywhere!
