After travelling all day it was pleasant to walk into a clean and fresh room. The manager was helpful in finding a good takeaway Thai restaurant just around the corner. We had a peaceful sleep which prepared us for the next day of travel. All in all I would recommend this motel for a stay over.

Absolutely discusting. The room was filthy, the bathroom mouldy, basin dirty, there were crickets (the bug version) all over the room, jumping on you in bed. The room stunk, the blind was broken, door latch missing, surfaces were grose. Overall a terrible experience

The shower was filthy dirty. The carpet was filthy. No milk for tea or coffee. The people in the room next door were abusing each other with filthy language until I went out and told them to shut there filthy mouths or I would. Not my job but the manager was to scared to say anything. Won't be back AND DEFINITELY WILL NOT RECOMMEND THIS MOTEL.

Very obliging when I mentioned online to clean the pool as guests are arriving in Moree in 40 degree heat and might want to cool down. Room was clean with standard motel amenities and bed was comfortable enough. Non-guests should not be allowed to loiter in the property asking for cigarettes and offering to sell merchandise. PIN code to the rooms should also be of random numbers and not the obvious slight variation of the room number. It’s good to see that the property has sufficient working (I hope) CCTV cameras lin various areas. One’s safety is re-assured somewhat.

The room was a comfortable size and we had a king sized bed. We opened the door with a fob rather than a key. With the gates to the parking area locked overnight we felt very secure. The bathroom could do with some updating to match the standard of the rest of the room.

I called the property to cancel as I was unable to continue my trip. A very pleasant man said I had to pay the first night and the second night would be cancelled with no charge but I needed to raise the claim with Wotif . That was an hour on an email chat service. I’ve been charged for full accommodation. Not happy

Budget motel ok for one night

The room was clean and ok for a one night stay. The bed was ok and the shower was good. Parking wasn't available in front of our room which was annoying as we had a fair bit of stuff to carry in. The room was supposed to be non smoking but people smoking outside our room was most unpleasant and even set off our smoke alarm! As an asthmatic I found the fumes quite annoying

Frankly, I can't understand how this property rates as highly as it does. Unless we just got the worst room they have.
• Only one powerpoint behind the bed so had to pull the bed out to access it for chargers & CPAP machine. Bedside lights were meant to be plugged into the powerboard connected to this socket, but weren't, so we plugged them in.
• Dust, dead moths & insects on the carpet underneath the bed, which clearly hadn't been vacuumed for some time. A major oversight considering the bed has to be moved away from the wall to access the power.
• No free-to-air television reception in room. Office staff explained they had a problem with tv antenna at the moment. Unsure how long it's been out, but I wonder if it would be fixed if we returned in a month (highly unlikely I suspect). Had to connect my ABC iView account to the tv to watch the news.
• The amount of black mould under the silicon sealant in the shower was disgusting. Maintenance of bathrooms is clearly an issue.
• Exhaust fan in bathroom had a very noisy bearing. The exhaust fan is connected to the same switch as the light for both bathroom & kitchenette bench area. Can't have light in those areas without also having screeching fan bearing noise.
• Room was generally clean - surfaces dusted, visible floor areas vacuumed, toilet cleaned, etc. But the style and fittings are definitely dated and could use upgrading to improve room aesthetic.
• Impossibly thin toilet paper. Bad economics, as people use 2-3 times more

I was very disappointed with the motel, the value for price was extremely lacking. The rooms and complex are old and need refurbishment. Toilet kept flushing, no hot water the first night, the air conditioner made horrible knocking noises. The roof made a lot of noise contracting and the water pipes knocked causing a lot of noise in the room. There was no keypad access to the complex after 9pm, so felt we couldn’t stay out late for dinner.

Needed some accommodation due to car broken down. Stayed one night in a room then had to stay a second night due to car troubles. Wonderful hosts. Gave us discount on second night and also moved us to a zero gravity bed room. Fantastic bed, large bathroom. Room clean, comfortable and quite. Will be definitely be back.

When checking in, was told room was double booked & they'd find us somewhere else. After driving around aimlessly for half an hour, we were given the room we booked.
Bed was super comfy and room was a decent size. But.... There was no hot water in the shower (morning and night). Shower soap scum, cobwebs in shower, dead bugs squished on the roof and what looked like spilt coffee on the walls. No dishwashing facilities.

The property was clean looking and within easy walking distance of town.
Unfortunately when we had a shower there was no hot water. We reported this to staff after we came back from dinner that night and to their credit they phoned a plumber and got it fixed by the following morning. Also no tea towel for drying dishes.
