Hi the shower had dirt and grime on the tiles. I found that it is a very expensive place to stay with your pet as it cost me $35 for each dog and I have 2 dogs. I have stayed in pet friendly motels before and never had to pay any extra for my pets.

Broken or loose tiles, mould on a door with a poorly adjusted track and squeaky / rasping sound, a wardrobe door that wouldn’t close because no one had bothered to plane the edge, plaster patching on walls in bathroom that was just smeared on and never finished, just painted over, a broken floor drain in the bathroom half full of debris.

This property was one of the worst we stayed in. The only thing that was clean was the bed. Shower was dirty, benches hadn’t been wiped down. Pubic hairs on the bedside table. Something had been spilt on floor to entrance of the room and had not been cleaned up. Awful, would never recommend.

We are totally sleep deprived due to extreme noise coming from the room adjoining ours which appeared to be part of the managers residence. This continued for most of the night. There was general household banging and clattering, much door knocking followed by loud talk, (most of it colourful) and interspersed with raucous laughter.
On the plus side the road traffic was quiet and the room clean. If not for that we would have given a big fat zero all round.

Don’t stay here! My best advice is “Give The Winchester a wide berth”!
There appears to be long term residents here that are up at all hours making noise ,yelling ,swearing at each other and arguing all the time. Cars coming and going, car doors slamming all night and generally no consideration for other short stay residents! The reception lady was pleasant enough but the management appear to turn a blind eye to the poor behaviour of some residents here!

The locked gates at night for security is an extra bonus. The Motel is walking distance to the two main fast food outlets. We have stayed several times at this Motel. The rooms are ageing , but still well presented.

The room was a good size with a large tv. The A/C works well. The age of the building is starting to show, with cracks in the plaster. We had to evict the spiders and mosquitoes with a can of raid. Something that management cannot control, was the person who came back to their room at 2.00 in the morning and played their music until 4.00 in the morning 😐. At least they kept it down to a dull roar. The bedding and towels were clean and the shower works well.
