The location is good, can walk to train station & to moree aquatic only abt 5 mins walking. We spent 3 nights there but no housekeeper who came to tidy up the bed or at least took the rubbish from bathroom/toilet & from the Kitchen area until our rubbish full. Also no top up for tea bags & sugar. Towels also arent not changed as in the hotel.

This hotel recently renovated the bathrooms in the hotel. Brilliant shower! Lots of hot water and very good water pressure.
The continental breakfast was plentiful and the garden terrarium was very nice to look at!

No staff at counter on check in (2pm) rang mobile number on door as stated, number was discounted and to check number and try again.
A staff member arrived as i was checking number. I had correct number.

Awesome Stay

We booked 3 rooms as church family on 3 room categories, we realised upon check-in that they were all located on different buildings. We know what to do next time.

We had an amazing stay. We loved the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. The beds were very comfortable.

Shout out to the two ladies who assisted with our check-in. Thankyou!

Great Family Stay

We were a church family of 8. We had a great stay. The two ladies who assisted us with check-in on Friday evening were helpful and friendly. We were in our rooms within a couple of minutes. The rooms were clean and tidy. We are looking forward to our next visit and we will definitely book family rooms 2, 3 and 4. It was so nice to have experienced the 3 room types during this stay. We only stayed for one night. The property appeared old and poorly maintained. We were shocked and terrified to see mice running behind the bed. Additionally, the room was not properly cleaned—dead insects were visible in the corners. On a positive note, breakfast was included.

Great property, beautiful pool, friendly staff and very clean rooms, I understand they’re doing renovations however the bed in room 22 is absolutely terrible. There is a big dip in the middle of the bed, the springs in the mattress make noise every time you roll over or move. If it wasn’t for the bed I would give a 5 star rating.

I was impressed with this motel. Clean, convenient, good location for traveling on the Newell hwy and motel gates locked at night for safety. Continental breakfast was perfect to start the next day of traveling. Try the services club for a quick evening meal!

We booked the executive twin room. Basic room, not as modern as the pics made it look. Bathroom clean. Sheets and towels clean. There was a locked door adjoining the next room, you could hear a bit of muffled sound. We didn’t use the tea/coffee facilities so can’t comment. Staff were nice and check-in was easy.

The room was large and had everything I need (like a toaster). Not sure how the parking works - there was someone in the space which had the number of my room. The pool outside looked enticing, and the town's public pool and thermal waters are a block away. I like the gate is locked at night for safety, It was an easy drive to the Services club for a takeaway Chinese meal. When I was leaving I dropped my key at the front desk, and I could smell toast being made in the restaurant - I don't know if breakfast was included - I missed out

Look I’m sure it could be good, but the initial impressions are not great. There is an unfinished excavation closet to the reception.

The reception is a mess, there was a smell of urine (or something strong) and bags of dirty linen.

The conversation with the people in front of me indicated that the area was not safe and the front gates are locked to stop the locals getting in. The woman at reception tried to indicate that everything would be ok.

My room had a strong chemical smell, I assume it was some clean fluid in the bathroom. It was dusty and the plastic curtains and dirty windows did present a great first impression. They were obviously half thru renovating as they had filled the holes in the walls and doors but not painted, there were tiles missing off the bathroom walls. The kitchen appliances felt oily and greasy.

The bed was awful, far too soft with far too hard pillows.

I know it is low budget, but at least make an effort to get rid of the dead microwaves, fans, mattresses that are stored around the site.

Anyway, I was out of there by 7:00 am. Not high on my list of favourite locations.

I rang the reception desk the day before. I was informed it had 3 rooms. We booked for 3 adults. Upon arrival we had to ask for the shower to be cleaned. It was dirty. The fridge froze everything. The room looked like it was half renovated but unfortunately not by a qualified renovator. The taps in the shower wouldn’t turn off. The step into the bathroom was dangerous. The pillow slip on the left side of the bed was filthy. I will not recommend this accommodation to anyone.

Booked at the last minute, staff were very helpful, and good value for
the money. The room had had some renovations however, there was a smell of mildew in the room as soon as walked in. We couldn’t see any evidence of it but the smell was extremely strong and quite over powering. We were not sure if it some something to do the drains as the water in the shower & basin took a long time to disappear so perhaps there was some issue there causing the smell.
We were only in the room overnight and gone again early in the morning so we didn’t raise it with management.

Great convenient location. Very close to the Aquatic Centre. Very clean, large room. Recently renovated. Best shower ever. Comfy beds. Easy parking with a security gate. Staff lovely.
Couple of small negatives, needed a shower curtain to stop the water going all over the floor. Pillows too high, although I did find a lower profile pillow in the cupboard. Overall I was very pleased with my stay.

If it wasn’t for the indentation of an elephant, the bed would have been nice to sleep in. The room was ample, bathroom has been renovated though not that clean when I checked in. Someone left their skid marks in the toilet. You’ll hear people talking outside as there’s hardly any insulation. Just be mindful that you do get what you paid for and that is OK.

Second time staying there. Close to Hot Springs Aqua Centre. Free Continental breakfast to get started before the next part of our journey. Had facilities in room. ie. toaster, jug, microwave, fridge, iron. All the essential requirements for a traveler. The bed was very comfortable, and was airconditioned for comfort.

Looks nice in the photos, but don't look too close on arrival. Rooms have just had a quick facelift, in a half done way, bathroom looks like a poorly done DIY job, with some cheap furniture in the room to fill the void.

Nice to have hard floors in the room, compared with dirty old carpets, however the beds are on castor wheels. Single bed castors were broken, so when my son would sit down one end, bed almost flipped. Queen bed would slide around the room, and pillows fall down behind the bed as it moved.
Staff were friendly, and made a late check in easy.

The property is dirty.
The floor was not swept or mopped. The bath mat was filthy after walking from the room to the shower.
The whole place looks like it is mid-renovation and they decided to lease it. The place has mismatched panels, three holes in the bathroom door, filthy cutlery draw, no cutlery. There was sand or dirt in the spare bed. The whole place made me feel dirty.

The hotel was a dingy dump. The service at the front desk was appalling, there was really none. Relatively clean, didn’t have the things at the hotel that were advertised on hotels. com. We spent an 1 1/2 hours looking for a better hotel to stay in to no avail. No garden view room or hot tub she looked at me as tho I was a bit silly and said they had never had those things.
