Nice and friendly staff, excellent location, near the horse tram station and whale museum (3-5mins walk), a lot of nice restaurants nearby (5mins walk) and very close to Victor Central shopping centre (6-7mins walk) with Woolworth and KFC there). All rooms are on ground floor and next to your car parked outside. Air-cond, fridge are good.

Too much truck traffic at night. Bed lamp didn’t work. Bathroom is way too small. Tatty old arm chair and chairs that felt like you were sitting on a board. Lady at reception couldn’t have cared less . Gave us our key and said that’s all we needed to know. Didn’t explain that there was a guest kitchen or anything about the area or any conversation at all.. I couldnt recomend her for an award..

I stayed here over a year ago and commented then that my only disappointment was the lack of power points near the bed. Well, since then, there has been new management, and, yes, there are now power points aplenty. This might be a coincidence, it might just have been the room I was allocated last time.
My only quibble this time is the lack of any sort of shelf in the shower recess. The shelf outside works, just, but a shower caddy or shelf of some kind within would work better. Other than that, everything was fine.

The motel is older style but in good condition. Location is right in the middle of town. Most people would arrive by car but the public bus to Victor Harbor stops right behind the motel. There was a breakfast room and a self service coin operated laundry. A quirk that caught us was ongoing guests need to place the \"please make up room\" sign outside otherwise the room is not necessarily serviced. This condition is mentioned in the book in the room - but how many guests would \"read the book\" when they arrive at a motel?

The aircon worked great.
The staff were helpful and nice, especially the manager.

However, the shower room was too small and a bit difficult to move around. There weren’t enough cutlery in the room or even in the housekeeping room.
